Can There Be Too Much Andy Anderson?

so working with someone like Andy and he wears a helmet I'm like yeah [Laughter] well Andy does he does jump to hug himself right dude yeah he does he skates huge rails he just scared I ain't one like a 32. and it's curved and he skated the outside he didn't skate the easy part he skated the outside of it and it was 105 degree weather just two two weekends ago you're describing the worst spot ever yes and Andy attacked it and there's there's like footage of it where he's just like laying on the ground like dying and he like the runway was in the sun he's getting cooked the hardest day hottest day of the year oh dude yeah and we're just like get him some water like have him take a break like are you sure you want to do this Andy don't get a heat stroke he did it I love Andy man yeah this is the best dude I mean I can't say so many enough nice things about that guy and um I think he won over skateboarding I think so yeah I think that in the beginning it was hard for him I don't know personally if it was hard for him but you know a lot of people weren't you I mean he's wearing a helmet yeah that's kind of that's a kind of fried up frowned upon and I think that he he just being himself and sticking with just being himself yeah and how good he is and talented he is you you cannot love him yeah I ain't even tripping off that no more I I can't I can't I definitely dude I definitely had reservations bro I was just like damn it I mean he's wearing a helmet But like after getting to know him and knowing who he is like he's the man and I'm not even tripping off that helmet big up to your helmet bro yeah I remember him who he is on the experience you were like what's up with the helmet yeah it was so funny because you just like you just like I don't get it yeah but again I was being honest no totally and again I think that he's the man bro real time yeah you know so it makes me I'm really proud of him and what he's accomplished and how he just stuck to his guns and he's Unapologetic about it and that's just really who he is yeah a lot of people would have conformed to what the industry wanted yes yeah and the industry's known for doing that to people too yeah and sometimes it's warranted to be honest with you listen put some different pants on and you'll be good yeah yeah change your shirt you'll be all right sponsor because that ain't working for you player you know what I mean sometimes it's warranted but Andy Anderson dude God bless him man he's the best dude and yeah you gotta respect it yeah he's he's got his hustle and he's running it oh man he's got his skills or not oh his skills ridiculous crazy so crazy I can't I still can't believe he went to the Olympics for skating park yeah dude for Park dude it's a whole different world of skateboarding you know what I mean he's not known for that really either not but he is unreal yeah I just love that the end of his run he went and did freestyle on top of the middle like yeah have you talked to you guys about that I don't remember if he did maybe he can't I think he's come on and I think we I think we did talk about it so that was his plan almost the entire time was this to go do it freestyle at the end of his room yeah and he just wanted to Showcase to the world how he skates yeah and that was amazing you know and and I worked with them through like a whole documentary that's supposed to come out on Braille sometime soon I was there filming every single try for the Olympics for like almost two years before and it sucked because it was super serious Andy training for the Olympics when like we go out and skate and make our videos we're just messing around having fun yeah it's so fun but this was like a whole other ball game and I had to film every single try so I know exactly how hard it was for him to do that and it was not easy it was really crazy and I was dreading him going for the next Olympics because I was just thinking about like I'm gonna do that again I was like no Andy please don't do it you know is he gonna go because he can go for Street and for park but I'm sure I'm assuming applied to go for park right now he's not going oh he's not yeah he just wants to focus on designing product and skating Street and maybe before you guys put this out there you guys should check with him and make sure but yeah but he's he just likes to do what he's doing right now and I'm very happy about this you could tell though you could tell he's he likes what he's doing yeah because he's putting it out his new little wheels and stuff I need to come on the show he's like hyped you know and he's been working on all this stuff with George for years right forever so it's really rad that now he's taking the time to just finish it all make it come out do it so and it's a lot more fun to work with them doing this stuff the Olympics that was not fun this is a weird question but I think it's relevant right you have a guy like Andy Anderson and you have a uh you have a bunch of people that have YouTube channels yourself Dan Corrigan uh whoever else and he's friends with do you ever think about too much Andy right do you ever think about like oh I have I've got all these videos with with Andy Dan's got all these videos with Andy are we putting Andy out there too much is Les Andy better like is it is it gonna do you ever think about that or are you just like dude these are my these are my bros we're skating together here's our video It Doesn't Matter there was a point where Andy knew he was putting out too much and I think we might be right around reaching that right now and so we are aware okay and Andy will just kind of like I'm gonna do my own thing and Andy Andy needs his personal time and space so he knows it's the truth dude I love it yeah we are very aware okay of how much and you know but the people love him and we love working together and everyone loves working with Andy so but he's very conscious of how much energy he has and how much he can put out right so you know I'm really just open with him and just hit him up like hey what do you want to do today do you want to skate do you want to like talk about a board talk about Wheels like what do you want to do do you want to skate and just chill not film anything because we do that all the time you know and uh it just whatever we feel like doing yeah you know what I mean
