[Applause] thank you thank you very much thank you pastor Troy thank you very much everyone it's really good to be here you guys are my family and I just want to really thank you for giving me this opportunity tonight it's always the joy to come back down to Texas and spend time with all of you we're we're I'm up in North Carolina so it's a little bit chillier up there not really cold next week I'm actually going to Minnesota yeah so I've really got to put the layers on next week but it's a joy it's a joy to be here you know there's a lot of there's something that happens whenever not that we do whenever we say the name of Jesus or when we just call out the the blood of Christ but when we recognize that in our minds and in our hearts and we just speak it out there's something that amazing happens and that's where we went tonight and my thing I feel like like this is a year of just recognizing who what Jesus really did for us and what he's doing for us you know and and there's just so many great things that were actually walking into and so just give me a second here we get set up my family gives their greetings to you they can't be here this time but they really give their greetings my wife Gladys and our two boys they're doing really well and they're they give their greetings from North Carolina we're iced earlier yeah that storm that came through here eventually hit North Carolina last night and it iced so yeah it was thankfully it melted pretty quickly but just before I proceed I just want to let you guys know there is a table up in the front where I'm selling some CDs I'm actually going to play the Salemba in a little bit and I've been on this journey with with the Lord and last year I went through a really tough season of it was a really interesting season of just being being attacked by like flaming arrows you know from the enemy and and it was just lies and lies and lies and I kept I kept coming back to the to the Lord back on my knees and and the Lord took me through a really cool season of rest and he's still taking me through the season of rest and he's and he's just really pinpin like he's really put putting in my heart just the value of how valuable rest is and so it's it's caused me to just spend hours and in worship and hours and and and so I've been playing a lot of solemn both been playing a lot of musical instruments and I'm actually on this journey with Friends of creating music that promotes rest so heavenly inspired music that promotes rest and so anyway I look forward to that but you can also get some of our other albums that do promote rest sound some heaven and you can get that up there if you want to also have some some instruments out there if you want to look at those as well so yeah I just actually want to tell some testimonies at first so you guys go with that so we've had this really amazing journey going and ministering among unreached people groups in Southeast Asia and also the Pacific Islands and I just wanted to take you through a few pictures and show you some some cool stuff that has happened so yeah let's go through some pictures here if you could throw those up this is this year's I'm on the right here and these these two people here are our leaders and kida bus does anyone know the country Kida bus Wow not a hand up okay all right there's actually a country in this earth called kid of us and it's 33 very small islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and the Lord led me there 11 years ago from Israel I went from Israel and I went there God called me to this nation and God has been doing a lot of mazing things ever since and so out of that has come this powerful relationship here where these these two these two leaders from the country are really doing an amazing work next in the Philippines we you know we I know a lot of you know about our work in the Philippines among indigenous people but something that we've done the past few years is our past six years has really focus on empowering the indigenous people and so here are actually a one of the groups of students that we have these are all high school students and these these students come from far in the mountains I'm talking about way out there and it takes hours and hours to get there but it's been amazing they don't do not have the opportunity to go to school they didn't I mean I know we cannot fathom that that but they just for elementary school they they hiked hours a day just to get to the school and then after elementary they they don't have the ability to go to high school or college and so what we've done is we created dormitories in the in the cities where they're close to high school and colleges and then we give them the opportunity to live there and we and we they get discipled and then they end up going to school and get educated they graduate and then they go back to their tribes and and actually bring the kingdom to the tribes it's really amazing okay next this is a you guys know this the story of the Salemba or the story of the the thinning on in people so this is actually a thin and onion people here right between us and so the guy in the blue there he is actually one of the Chiefs of the thin and onion tribe and we got to go last year to we well I went many times to their tribe but I took a team there last year of and the guy on the left is actually another instrument maker who also made help to make the partner instrument of the Salemba there there used to be two instruments that worship the God of all gods together and so we reeked we created those two instruments and and bless the tribe with it that's the next these are some more of our students we actually were able to what we're doing is the students are actually becoming missionaries and so what's happening there there are these tribes that we've been working in and they have neighboring tribes who are totally unreached people group and I'm getting ready to show you a picture of one of those totally unreached people groups but these these tribes these are first-generation Christians so that means that the gospel has just come to their tribe within the last ten ten years and so they were actually empowered by Jesus now and now they're they're also getting educated and then they go back but they have a such a desire to go to their neighboring tribes and bring the gospel so instead of like foreigners and missionaries like us we're seeing God do it through them and it's really amazing okay next I want you guys to be praying for the Philippines because you know the Philippines is the first Christian nation in Asia and it's an open door to all of Asia and a lot of a lot of people have a hard time a lot of missionaries have a hard time going into the Asia because there's there's so many closed doors but the Philippines have a totally open door to go to all the other countries in Asia and so it's been amazing this is a picture of just a there's a revival breaking out in Philippines right now and it is just incredible to be a part of I was able to be a part of this gathering and speak there of about five thousand Filipinos and they all just came together and just worship for about a week straight and it was amazing okay next yeah we've had we've been so many people there's the harvest is so full that we're we're actually baptizing a lot of the people that are there coming to know Jesus and so this is one girl that just gave her life to Jesus she came from a tribe that is totally unreached people group she gave her life to Jesus she started reading the word and and found out that she wanted to really get baptized and so she came to us and asked for it so he took her down to the river that's the river alright next I want to give you guys a praise report because we have actually been what really desiring to we've we see that we are changing our missions from short-term to long-term and we have just been able to purchase this piece of land in the Philippines and we're actually building a really large dormitory for the for the educational program that I was just telling you about so yeah this is this guy right here his name is Eddie and he is our leader in the Philippines so he is actually an indigenous man that he and his wife are leading this amazing movement of indigenous tribal Christians that are being raised up as missionaries sent out to other nations and other people groups so he's awesome be praying for him his name's Eddie okay next there he is that's Eddie there and a tribe that we've been ministering in called Sula Sal Umayyad and this is a little boy from that tribe next this is in kid Abbas the nation I was talking about earlier this is one of the guys that it's a worshiper amazing voice is there next well we do lots of feedings and things like that that's our one of our one of our ministries that we do just like you guys do here is we do lots of feedings next these are all of the locations this gives you kind of an understanding about where I'm talking about over to the left side you see the black circle that's the Philippines look at the top right that's North America that's us the top left is Asia so where the circles are is where we have ministry that's the way the Lord has led us and this country you see the little the red circle it's Tokelau and the Lord has just led us to that country just this past year and that was also through a dream that the Lord gave me and but it's one of the smallest nations in the world so be praying as we take steps into this new country okay next this is the last photo I want to show you this is a people group called the slit people and we have been praying and asking God for for just years actually us seven years we've been praying and saying Lord open the door to this people because every time that we would go to this tribe we would get close to the area and then they would start attacking us and we were like I don't want to get killed so Lord just give us give us wisdom here give us an open door and finally there was one of our students who went through the high school and in the college our program and then he graduated and when he graduated he became a professional teacher and the Department of Education in the Philippines assigned him to this people group too and they assigned him not not just to go there but to start a school and he has 500 students and he they don't even have a school so they all stand under a tree and he stands on top of a rock and he just calls out teaches all the students that every day it's incredible but there's people here these are these are just women that we got to see for the first time you probably won't be able to really see it but these these ladies are only 13 or 14 years old and they do all the work the tribe while the men hang out and protect the land and actually two of these ladies are pregnant and so they're carrying this heavy weight and everything every day but the Lord has given us this open door and we've actually already had people from the tribe there are two Chiefs that have given their lives to Jesus from this tribe so it's it's been incredible it's really it's really it's really fun the harvest is full I just wanted to show those pictures to you to encourage you like like there's there's amazing things happening all over the world and we are just one part of a big big family of God that and he's just doing amazing stuff all over so I just rejoice in that and I rejoice of what God is doing in this place and before I proceed I actually want to just speak over this place is that okay I just feel in the spirit like there's been a real stirring there's been a real stirring going on and I feel like as I'm speaking there's some people just gonna be really stirred up in the spirit and just say yes to the Lord as I stalk but this past year for you is just there's been like it's like unsettled and you're like under settlement in your heart like you off your whole life you've you felt like you've known who you are you felt like you know what you need to do but then something has happened this past year and you're just like what is going on but you're still like father I am for you 100% in your pursuing him and a lot of those decisions that you had to make last year there were some real faith decisions that you had to take like you you were like I'm stepping out in faith and as you took steps of faith there were just like a resistance everywhere you went you would go one direction and then there was resistance and then another direction the resistance and now you there's just a stirring in the spirit going on and and I just feel like I just want to confirm right now that that is actually a good thing and and the Lord is actually doing that because he's equipping you to be a person and to be a in this region that is strong because you're gonna need it you're gonna need to be strong and I just I just some fill my heart that that the Lord really wants to open up your ears to hear his voice and not just to like you know just to hear you know a good sermon every week or just you know not just to like you know the kind of Bible study the Bible study and grow in the Lord actually I feel like the Lord is really wanting to equip you to hear God's voice and just to respond to it and and just go for it and I feel like there's something that in the body of Christ that that we need to really not just want to hear God's voice but we also need to respond we need to go for it right you know I feel like there's some like we have all these teachings and all this stuff about hearing God's voice and we're kind of like we're all about yeah I want to hear God's voice and he speaks through my dreams or he speaks through the Word of God through the Bible or he speaks through other people or through prophetic words or all this stuff and that's that's great and a lot of times we receive word some of the Lord we're just like yeah that's awesome okay yeah all right yeah yeah you know and then that's it but I just want to speak into you right now and say go for it respond respond because if we don't then it becomes void and we do not want to be avoid people we want we want to be a people that pursue God wholeheartedly that is that right we want to be a people that pursue God wholeheartedly and I just I just speak over here right now and just I just say that the the you know that the the unsettlement is going on is actually a good thing it's actually it's actually it's just because we're living we're living in a world thank you it finally went off there was this like noise I think it was from the thing but anyway but there's you know there's this this this tension that's going on in the spirit and I just feel like it's actually I just want to confirm it's actually a good thing but to not be to not be distracted by the tension to not be distracted by all this pain all this stuff is going on let's just keep our eyes on Jesus right let's just keep our eyes forward I just love this verse and in John chapter 10 verse 27 my sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me is that not just so powerful the words of Christ and you know we you know we we are a people that that know God's voice and we know it because it is so distinct and the reason why we know is because we've tuned our ears to hear that frequency so I I just feel like I just feel like I just need to talk about that for a minute a lot of us hear so many voices and we're just not we're not sure you know whose voice is God and whose voices me or whose voices the world but I feel like the Lord wants to actually tune your ears to hear his voice you know to hear that frequency and I a lot of times that takes place whenever you get quiet whenever you get quiet before the Lord and and not just for one day but you actually have to create a culture of peace there's there's difference between just having a peaceful day or a peaceful week and creating a culture of peace inside of you and I feel like a lot of us are just seeking to have a clear mind I just want to have a clear mind you know I just there's just so many things going on my life I just want clear mind but really there there can be a lot going on your life but there's still peace inside of you do you guys see what I'm saying and I feel like like the Lord is is saying that despite all the stuff that goes on they're still going to be peace in you and a lot of times when God says are when people ask me like how do you how do you hear God's voice you know a lot of times I just say I just cultivate peace inside of me and that's when the voice comes because all the distractions I know how to distinguish them the Lord that has given me the spirit to distinguish this what is what it whenever whenever I do have peace in my heart but there are times and seasons where I allow the enemy to distract me I mean because the distractions are distractions are always going to come no matter what right you cannot resist you cannot hide away you cannot run away from the distractions you know it's actually good to live in a life full of distractions but because you're not going to you're not going to escape from it but what the Lord wants to create in us is he wants to build that muscle in us to say yes to the Lord and no to the enemy yes to his voice and no to the voices of the world you know and when we have whenever there's that peace inside of us we know how to distinguish and block we when we use the shield of faith right you guys say I'm saying you guys good I actually want to create just an atmosphere of peace before I end tonight and it's but before I go before I get on to this I want to create some some some instrumental music and I I want to allow the Holy Spirit to just minister to you for a few minutes so you guys go with that but before I go into that I actually just want to tell you a really cool story and I don't see really don't even know why I am going to tell you this story but maybe there's some people in here that really need to hear it um but I knew as soon like weeks ago and I knew I was coming out of here the Lord said tell this story okay so this is this story actually happened about eight years ago eight seven or eight years ago I was living with this tribe called the Tiguan moon and this is there this is their patterns here and this is these are beads that they have made and so this is their pattern so I represent their tribe right now the tieguanyin tribe and I was living with them we actually built a musical instrument workshop right in the middle of their tribe and we we helped redeem all these ancient instruments from their tribe but that's another story but as we had this amazing team of indigenous people they were making musical instruments and one day we were we were just working you know we carve out these drums that you know got these big chisels that we created and all the stuff and we were chiseling out this drought these drums and this boy walked up to us and he came up to us sitting he he just wasn't talking much and we didn't know where he came from but the people that the from the people from the tribe knew who he was and so they told me his name was juvy and I said well what's he doing here like tell me about him and this boy was only about this tall and he was very frail very skinny and he was just very quiet and so they began to tell me that he is actually consider like a astray person and basically he does not have any family he his mother his mother and his father they left him I think both of them died he has brothers and sisters but they were in different places and he just went from one place to another place within the tribe from one family to another family working he would work in the fields he would clean the the pig pens he would cook for the families he would just do whatever he could do just to survive and so from age you know since he was a baby all the way up until this point and he was actually 17 years old he should have been this tall but he was only this tall and that's because he got bit by a horse when he was very young in it and it made him not be able to grow anymore and so you had all this sickness in him and you could tell he was really sick but just could not do it you just could not figure out what what it was and anyway he he actually asked if he could just hang out with us and work for a few days and so he said hey you can live with us just just live with us and so he started living with us he was making drums with us every day he was the coolest young man I mean he he was a good worker he knew how to work with chisels he needed how to work with with woodworking tools and we made all these amazing drums and he would play them we would worship together we would eat together and he basically just became one of our family members and one night he we were sitting at the dinner table just just eating and we eat the way that they prepare their food as they take the the chicken or whatever animal it is and they just they crush they crush all the bones inside the meat so like when you eat you have a bunch of crushed bones in the meat so you got to be careful I've knocked one of my teeth out one time with that but anyway he was we were eating and and he said in the middle of our conversation we were talking about heaven talking about how great heaven would be and he just made this really really interesting comment he said I'm never gonna be able to make it to heaven and we were just like well why is that and he said well you know look at look at my life look Who I am I don't have a family I've never had a home I've been a stray that just goes from one place to another place I've always had to do the work that no one else wanted to do I've always had to do the the really messy work if I've lived my life on earth like this and God has done this to me why would he all send me to heaven and when he said that we were just like oh my goodness and so I said well Eddie the guy that I told I showed you earlier he was there and he said you know what you know the Father Jesus and the father really love you and you can go to heaven and actually he loves you so much that he sent you here tonight for us to tell you how good he is and you know if you just if you receive Jesus into your heart then life will come into you not just temporary good life but eternal life and the kingdom of God belongs to you whenever you whenever you accept him and receive him into your life and he was he had heard the gospel for the first time that night that was the first time and he was like a light bulb went off in his head and he was like oh my goodness and he was filled with the Holy Spirit and he ended up giving his life to Jesus that night at the dinner table it was a really amazing time and it was really cool but the next morning we got up we started our work the same work that we do every day we get all of our tools and put them out get them ready for the for the day clean up the place and as we were doing that he came into the shop and he was just like this he couldn't breathe and we asked them we said what's what's going on and he said I can't breathe I can't breathe and we said tell us what's going on and you could not breathe he could not even talk and so we started asking around and we and we said we gotta take him to the hospital so I took him to the local clinic we rushed him there and they said we don't know what's going on with him we got this you have to send him to the the bigger Hospital and so we traveled like two and a half hours on a motorbike to this closest city and then we got there to the city to the Haute to the hospital and then again that sound is gone again [Laughter] again the the doctors there said I'm sorry but we do not have the equipment to figure out what's going on with with him and you're gonna have to take him to the other hospital and so when then we had to travel another sick hours to the next hospital and we finally got there it was 10 o'clock at night and we brought him into the hospital and and we brought him in there and as we were in there I was like father come on I like I really really believe in healing we have seen hundreds of people healed or like hundreds if not thousands of people healed over and over so I like I was like I'm gonna pray for this guy he's gonna get healed and so I went into well I went in to talk to the doctor and it turns out that he had multiple problems he he had like brain cancer he had rabies he had this other type of I think it's called it's called I don't know what it's called in English so but what it is is it's a it's a virus that goes through your feet from the mud it goes through the feet and it goes up into the body and it had that night it had triggered something in his body and made all of everything just go crazy and so that's that's why he he was breathing so hard and so I was like I've got faith I'm going in there I'm praying for him I went in there I prayed for him and he was not healed so I went back out and I was like father I want you to heal him I really want this I speak your blood over this boy I went back in and prayed for him he wasn't healed I went out talked to the Lord about it went back in for the third time to pray for him and he wasn't healed I went out again I talked to the Lord and then when I went back into the room he had passed away he had died and it was just like shattering to me because I I was so emotionally attached to this boy he was amazing boy he had become like a family member and we brought him to the tribe that day there are the next day we brought him back to the tribe and I remember putting as his body out as they were getting ready to put him put him down into the the ground and everyone from the tribe came out and they were weeping over that boy everyone there were like people that came from no other I didn't had not even knew that they came out and they were just weeping because of the years that he had gone from house to house to house to house home to home farm to farm and he had blessed all their land and he had learned how to work in the cattles he had were worked in the farms he had worked with the pigs he had worked in the homes he had cooked he had done everything for all these families and they had come back and they fell on their knees all these family members and cried over his body and we ended up having a funeral service that night people were just came from everywhere and we told him the tests we told everyone the testimony that happened that the day before he had just given his life to Jesus and then we we we were just so assured that that that we knew where he was going and it was just like amazing how God had used his life to touch all these people and it was amazing that that his life became a testimony to all of those people and that night there were a bunch of people that gave their lives to Jesus now is that not incredible they all gave their lives to Jesus and they had been they started getting discipled and his name lives on this little boy named juvy and I didn't I don't know it was just incredible to see that his let his name it's been eight seven or eight years and he's his name still lives on people that have given their lives to Jesus are still following him from that time and it's just it's just been amazing time so I don't know maybe the Lord's doing something in your life that you just don't understand maybe you feel like you feel like that you've just gone like astray you've just gone from place to place but just I just want to assure you that the Lord is using your life to catapult the kingdom into people all around you the Lord uses things that we do not know don't do not understand for his kingdom he turns every hard situation and there's something good so I just speak that over this place and over all of you in the name of Jesus and I'm actually going to go into some worship and like to have one of my this is my best friend John David who's actually came down from North Carolina with me he's a pastor a worship pastor of my home Church in North Carolina and so he's going to play with me and we're just gonna just for a few minutes just create an atmosphere for God just to release his rest in peace right well thank you so much for this time I speak peace over all of you so just receive it right now in the name of Jesus and not just temporary peace but long-term inner peace and the name of Jesus I thank you for what you're doing I thank you all of you you guys are family to me I'm praying free all the time and please pray for us sincerely pray for us we're taking some really big steps of faith than some some really risky areas this year so yeah definitely I asked for four for prayers for for us for me my family for our team our different teams in the different countries so thank you
