God who never stops working he's always working on the behalf of his people before we get started I want to make a few comments and directions for our church during this time any information concerning giving etc along the the format of what we might have to change and adjust to please stay in tune and in touch with our church web page and it will be have all the information that you need so please take advantage of that and our goal as a church family as pastor I'm encouraging everyone to stay connected to one another via phone texting and all the technology that is at our fingertips please encourage one another our ministerial staff will do all that they can to help us with that and to stay in contact with everyone in times of this in times of need people that have situations arise that they need help we'll do what we can to help each and every one we want to stay in contact first and foremost with the Lord prayer time and encouraging everyone to stay in contact with the Lord and let the Spirit of God direct us and help us and in times like this amen this morning I want to make comment or make four points in and what I feel is needful for us to help us and I want to turn your attention to the Book of Isaiah chapter 26 and verses 3 and 4 and use this as a scriptural to launch off to help us and talk about four points that I feel that are very very needful scripture reads that will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee it's important that we keep our minds on the things of God amen with the news and the media and all the things that can create such a spirit of fear and anxiousness and and and rightly so we we want to keep our hearts and our minds on things that bring peace and that is the things of God I'm reminded of what Paul said in Philippians four and eight he said finally brethren whatsoever things are true whatsoever things are honest whatsoever things are just whatsoever things are pure whatsoever things are lovely whatsoever things are of a good report if there be any virtue if there be any praise he said think on these things Paul was saying and he referred to this the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus he continues in Isaiah the writer said because he trusted in thee trust ye in the Lord for ever for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength the first point I want to make is that God is our strength in time of need we need his strength more than ever the Bible speaks for speak specifically about in times of trying and testing that we don't get weary and well doing isaiah says in verse 4 of chapter 25 for thou has been a strength to the poor a strength to the needy in distress a refuge from the storm a shadow from the heart when the blast of the terrible ones is is a storm against the wall God is our strength and we need his strength more than ever in this world today and I encourage you a mint to find strength in God's Word find strength in God's Spirit find strength eight men in what God can give us amen through what he has a made available to his people the second point I'd like to bring out is that God will take care of us there's a lot of fears and anxiety of what ifs and what about this but I want to assure the people of God that God will take care of his people let me just pause and tell you this that God has always taken care of his people Psalms 37 and 25 reads and here the psalm of David he said I've been young and now I am old yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread God has always taken care of his people and I'm here to tell today to people today that are wondering and questioning where is God in all this amen we might not understand all the things that are we're enduring right now but hear me this morning hear me today that God is going to take care of his people another point I'd like to make out it's for us this morning today is God is for us he is with us he is in our Amen Corner Romans 8 and 31 reads what shall we then say to these things if God be for us who can be against us God is with us today he's never left his people he says he'll never leave us nor forsake us and with that I want to encourage you that God knows right where you're at what you're thinking and what you're going through God is in you're Amen Corner last but not least a point that I think is very very important very vital is that we don't live in fear but we live by faith we walk not by sight but we walk by faith 2nd Timothy 1 in 7 reads for God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind a man we need to understand that God is going to give us strength in our hope and our trust is in the Lord Jesus Christ David said in 57 and 3 what time I have been afraid I will trust in thee David was saying although the circumstances were bleak there was no reason to fear God is with us and God is going to give us strength and so I encourage you today amen wherever you're at that you would trust God lean upon God understand God is for you and that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind and what time that we have been afraid and what time that we haven't had an anxiousness and they questioning we need to sometimes just calculate that and say what time I have been afraid as David said I'm gonna trust in the Lord I'm gonna believe in his word I'm gonna believe in his promises and and understand that God is with us I would like to take a moment a man and and pray for us and ask God no matter where you're at I would last I'm gonna say a special prayer and I I went wherever you're at and right now to to bow your heads and and and ask god let's pray collectively that God would move upon the congregation that God would move and times that we are all facing that the Holy Ghost would help us to navigate through these these uncharted waters if you please that we're all everyday facing and I believe with the Holy Ghost that God can reach down wherever you're at whatever your your circumstances are God can touch you today with this presence and so let's pray together and ask God to help us there Lord we ask you today Jesus and your precious name Lord we are God faced with trying and testing times and I pray in the name of Jesus that you would reach down God and touch this wonderful assembly Calvary Apostolic Church of Lawrenceville they Lord you would touch every family God that you would strengthen every husband and every wife God the departments that represent this church that you'e Lord that they are over that you would minister to them the - the youth Lord our children's ministry God during this time that we are God not able to come together of like precious faith there's times Lord where God we are not able or - to see one another but Lord I pray that the Spirit Lord would make intercession and the Spirit would keep us connected to you and and Lord to one another today I pray the healing would come God that strength would come Lord that faith would come I bind and rebuke fear and anxiety and the stress God of the times that Lord has brought to each and every one of us in the name of the Lord you're our hope you're our guide you're our strength Lord and we trust you for that in Jesus name we pray [Music] you
