C vs C++ vs C#

c c plus plus c sharp what's the difference let's start with c c is a functional language without classes that still has objects a long long time ago c was created by dennis ritchie it was intended for creating operating systems and for having close interaction with hardware c has a very simple syntax and is easy to learn except for pointers let's not talk about that c code is quite difficult to write due to the bare bones nature of the language often requiring you to write your own libraries and functionality c shines is brightest when you want to write operating systems embedded systems database systems and compilers c plus plus oh god the vietnam flashbacks are coming ah c plus plus is a very fast and powerful programming language it has strong support for object oriented programming and was created by virginia stroud stroke i'm sorry barney i probably butchered that the language was also created a very very long time ago essentially c block plus is seen on steroids much like steroids c plus plus has great results but overuse can lead to heart failure and these effects emit and i can confirm these effects are real the syntax of cpus is very complicated as there are a lot of important moving parts to remember the language has a very steep learning curve and despite what many may say i would not recommend this language to beginners especially if you're already suicidal arguably c plus is not so difficult to use once you know the ins and outs of the language this is due to c plus plus having a lot more functionality than c and a lot of the work has been done for you z plus plus is generally used for game development guise browsers and the cia torture program c-sharp is a new kid on the block much like myself c-sharp doesn't really fit in with others and never will it was created by microsoft in the year 2000 and is a much higher level language when compared to cmc plus plus c-sharp is also a lot slower than the other two c-sharp is object oriented and was designed to make web development easier and is basically just a copy of java the syntax is very similar to java and the learning curve is somewhere in the middle some may struggle to get a grasp of the concepts of object-oriented programming however there are not so many low-level concepts a programmer must understand c-sharp is very easy to use due to its high-level nature and variety of libraries c-sharp is generally used for web development windows applications and games development to sum up you see if you're looking to write low-level applications with high control over hardware use plus if you're looking to write low-level applications with more control at the sacrifice of your world to live you see sharp if you don't like the look of java and are looking to write high-level applications with these if you enjoy watching me pretend to know what i'm talking about make sure you like and subscribe see you in the next video
