BUYING NEW FISH for AQUARIUM!!

one two three four five six seven we have a whole bunch of fish ready to go in the 160 but that being said I'm gonna get all these bags into the one hundred and sixty gallon tank oh oh baby you need a baby what is going on crows welcome back to another video here today I'm at aquatic and exotic up north from where I live at least I believe this is in like the Stewart area I'll have it linked in the description where you can come here and get some fish yourself they've got a hell of a selection behind me here check that out and what I'm doing today is getting African cichlids for the 160 tank has been cycling for about a week and change now the plan is to just absolutely load up we got a hundred and sixty on tank I'm getting fish that are probably about two inches long very small and you got to think of course that they're gonna grow so you don't wanna get too many I'm thinking between 25 and 50 cichlids should do the job because they will grow and of course they will breathe who knows what we'll do with the babies you might leave them in there but I heard at least to my knowledge that when you buy cichlids the older ones die off as the younger ones grow up so it's like a little cycle actually gregg Wittstock he's got a cichlid tank in his house and they do the same thing they breed and they kind of die off and the cycle just keeps on going I got a stop talking but if you're four six of these let's do six of these because they're just so bright there's you know vibrant [Music] oh we got two workers on us now [Music] Oh do for the bumblebees as well one two three four five six seven let's go keep seven mm yeah we're good these are like my favorite one that's why I'm saying yeah it's dope nets all right there goes seven [Music] so so far got7 albano red zebra cichlids and then over here we got four bumblebee cichlids now I'm gonna get my favorites the dragon blood peacock cichlids right here look at that look at the colors on them hey boom alright I got I got the next batch we already thought about it okay I think you're gonna did you for these 100% do you like to mediums and then to smaller ones and that please be one of the mediums yes [Music] Lake Tanglewood so they get like a big noggin when they get bigger yeah almost like a prawn dosa but not quite all right we're gonna get as many as we can of these Elise yeah [Music] [Music] on to the next batch we're gonna get six Rusty's right here that's the nickname for him how many you get in that scoop I was a good scoop right there [Applause] [Music] yeah yeah let's do two of these only $8.99 right [Music] all right and you just said we have 40 fishing total right now how many of you think we should get more for 160 10 more yeah make it is they're small so make that 50 all right what are we doing we've got about a spent so much money how we're gonna do five yellowfin and then yeah little red zebras right here what do ya Calico and then just for other one of these like the more yeah the more pronounced orangish colors there [Music] [Applause] [Music] well I think you can call this a successful mission right here we have a whole bunch of fish ready to go in the 160 I'm talking lots and lots look how bright those are little peacocks holy moly am I in the camera we are back home and now check out the selection we got the pigs also checking it out as well anyway the people at aquatic and exotic by the way great employees couldn't agree any more on the fish that I selected to get for this tank a good variety of different species of african cichlid and a good variety of color it comes along with that so with that being said I'm gonna get all these bags into the one hundred and sixty gallon tank you guys have not seen it all cleaned up yet there it is crystal-clear Lilla no no I can open the bags you're okay thanks for the help though anyway real simple and easy all I got to do is grab the bags slide them right on in and boom there they are let's slide them right on in OOP all this hole in that bag holy moly look at that there's my favorites right there now just look at the reflection off the whites and when it comes to colors like that slip on in those ones a little it was still chewing slip on in these jeez Louise I feel like I've been doing this for ten minutes already look at that good selection [Music] now it's like that scene in Nemo when all the bags are just floating we got a lot a lot a lot of fish I am beyond stoked to see all these things swimming around in a little tiny colorful pod in the one hundred and sixty gallon aquarium holy moly this could not have came out any better I would have never imagined it to come out and looking like this all these air bubbles coming up the wave maker is not on right now but I could always turn it on I don't know I'll see you in probably like 15-20 minutes so the water temperature at the moment is about 73 degrees which is about as low as you want to get for African cichlids 73 to 82 degrees is pretty fair I have both these heaters these two 300 watt heaters set to about 80 degrees so within the next day by tonight it should start getting a lot warmer inside this aquarium for now these fish should be just fine at about 73 degrees and golly I'm just so happy that I actually got African cichlids it's gonna look crazy now it looks good and they're just in bags wait till they're in a giant pod swimming around first thing is first let's get though what I like to call snook their nickname here boom they go there's one there's two for real next batch going in these are the little I believe these the bumblebees if I'm not mistaken they match the bucket so long buddy this is this a lot outline another thing I got seven albinos hey there's one and there they all go this looks so cool for real check that out dude oh my gosh wait til we get like the bigger and we yellows and oranges and weights up they all get yeah wait till they all get bigger too there's the little babies now what's next what do we got here the true someone is going in here that does represent like african cichlid names that they are very confusing not exactly sure all these yellow fins [Music] adios brothers the others are really cool how very small they're gonna have to grow a bit the Rusty's it's like deja vu over and over we just dump the bag and then all these fish just just wait till they're all swimming around they are in the mid neck boom for the first few hours all these fish are going to hide in the rocks until they get familiar with the surrounding and then they'll come out they'll go to the surface and then I'll start of course start feeding them and then it just goes all they're gonna be swarming boom we got a little bit bigger sized ones right here these were like believe $20 a pop here we go holy moly wait till they're all that size it's gonna be incredible oh oh oh baby you say a baby oh when oh they probably release them stressed out when they get stressed inside the bag sometimes they release it ate it yeah it's swimming too dude no how are you even hungry well look look that's not a bad thing because that is only one of the babies and that big female back there is loaded with babies so she's probably gonna lay the rest of them and there's gonna be a bunch of little babies already just like that it's just like the mollies and platies some of the babies get eaten by the others and then the very few that do live they grow up and it's like the continues if every baby did live there'd be too many of them look at that dude holy moly that's probably one of my favorite batches going in oh yeah dude look at all the action going on over here this is sick look he's got the baby in his mouth it's so sad hello albinos right here here's bright orange peacock cichlids right here now we got one bag after this there he is what do you think Lulu good talk no wait we got a baby what baby no yeah here oh my gosh is a baby all right we're gonna be a little yeah little blue man here I have it I have it last one going in then we're gonna deal with that little baby that's straggling down in the bucket now you can't see every fish because they are like I said they're getting used to their surroundings but as of right now it's looking incredible all these fish are gonna be swimming around breeding having different colored babies and this tank will just be loaded by the time you know it believe I got it I put a suction cup on the back of it and I think I'm gonna stick it to the glass and hopefully that works already with just a little suction cup some electrical tape that may come undone but I do have an emergency little like link just in case it does come undone right here one of these little twists owns I twisted it around one of these bars and then brought it over the side and then closed the lid on top so meaning it's literally jammed in there where this cannot sink run outside real quick because I have a net right here it's gonna get that baby out got him he's in yep here is down at the bottom of the net chillin so I don't know what that what I'll have I mean at least I tried to save it least I made a little cage so when we do have babies maybe I can net him out and save them but that's there we'll see and look at all these cichlids piled up in this corner they love this corner right now all these guys are still kind of nervous in a way I'm gonna pick up this camera a few hours from now and maybe they're just a bit more comfortable what is going on it's actually not a few hours later it's two days later as you saw by the little text there before this look at the ball of them and if I walk up to the tank and look at them all they see how they're all ready they're all ready to eat that's exactly why I did this tank and now they're all still babies like I said when they grow bigger it'll fill in more of the tank right now they're just in kind of one ball but let me know what you think comment down below what is your who knows how long these will be around for but for now you're making the tank look good also one more thing I forgot to mention yesterday a lot of people ask me how much money I spend on uncertain things so I'm gonna mention I spent three hundred and thirty seven dollars on this amount of cichlids but keep in mind that will pretty much double in amount if not triple and then of course just caught you pearl and just keep on going because they do breed a lot so three hundred and thirty seven dollars for those who were curious I typically don't say how much I spend but I saw a lot of
