All right, check it out. This is my new excavator. So this is what happened here. One of my buddies wanted to buy
one of these. And I was telling him, No, don’t buy it That's a piece of junk
buy used Kubota or Yanmar Guys I ended up paying $4,000 for this. So for that price,
maybe it's not a piece of garbage. I don't know. Let's try it That counts hours when the key is off. Good way for that gauge to get counted up real high. Let it warm up It's actually pretty quiet. All right, so here's our controls. We got; throttle, key, Got a nice light. There's a choke. Because it needs a choke Here's our tracks. Here is auxiliary. It's nice that it’s plumed for auxiliary There lines are here capped off That's a big deal. That's the standard pattern
that I'm used to and 90% of machines are. I don't love how these hoses are out like that. That's kind of stupid, but I'm not seeing anything else. I don't like, this looks all decent. Look at the nice teeth on there. That looks good. That should be hydraulic, though, but In The travel speed is kind of slow. It can pick up a Dodge 360 block that loaded a load of firewood
in an appropriate amount of time. It really wasn't bad. I could go after logs forever up here, but it'd be nice if it lifted a little higher. I'd be nice
if the travel speed was better. And it's. It would be super
easy to tip this over. So but for the price, it works I was wiggling it But I mean, that's like a whole tree right
there. I could cut some stuff and get this, but lets do it without cutting anything That definitely works.
Good for picking on firewood logs. Let's try digging with this thing I just ran out of gas,
and we got 3.6 hours to a tank of gas Holds two gallons. The instructions say, to change the oil. right away
because the initial oil is “break in” oil. That's how you do it. Here is a trick, rip a towel Take your socket. Put that in that now stays in there With these, fill it to you can’t What do you think buddy? you guys find a deer in the woods
yesterday? Blue, what do you have there? Just noticing the grease fittings on
this are weird. But the toolbox that it came with There it is We have a solution to that. For our oil change records, I like just write them
right on the machine. I'm at my buddy's house here. He's the guy
who talked me into buying this thing. He wanted to try it. So we're going to here
to install a culvert pipe. So he made a bridge right here. We're going to pull those logs
out of there and put a pipe in Dig it out a little bit? Probably clean it up a little that could have just went there. Yeah. These could be pins instead I was showing my friend this That's better from your story. He said basically same as he bought. he's got one too, how is his? he likes it. How long has he had it? Well a few months now,
but he did not spend four grand on it. What did he spend?
like $15,000. 15 what? he bought off, that is. It must be bigger. No, about the same size. Is it a diesel? No, gas And he paid 15k for it? He bought it on. I mean there's people selling these on
marketplace right now for like 5500 bucks. What's that ap
Everybody buys from?
Alibaba But that's a whole jump through
a lot of hoops And that's what it was. You know, all he had to pay
for the assembly afterwards. He had to pay for this.
He had to pay for that. He had to pay for the emission testing and all know, he thought
it would take four grand for it. Then he found out...
so don’t order from Alibaba. no. this isn't worth 15 grand
because you can get a used Japanese machine for that Looks straight. Yeah, it looks good. Yeah, right there. Do these too All right. Lets dig I don't know what I'm doing. Takes a minute That takes two people to dump Better. This is working great We're getting into some nice rock here. Look at that. That's like premium driveway material, shale that breaks up. It's blue shale
so it doesn't turn into mud. It's in a manner
where you can actually dig it. That was a heavy one. We could probably load this thing more than we’re loading it I’ve been out here in downpours How about after,
Irene or something? Nothing, really. Yeah. Yeah,
That probably last forever. Then. But it's really nice. I like the log. Yeah, right.
I just thought about that. And that'll keep my grandfather. Well, then you can see where it is, too. Like, you know, I accidentally go off that That will help my father and grandfather. Just over here. My dad rolled his ATV a month ago. Yeah, that's a mess over there. In that big rut He went off the side Yeah, I could see that. all right? So I'm going to kind of end the video
on this little excavator. for the price, this thing is excellent. a few little things
you could nit pick on it. But again, I paid $4,000 for this. You know, that was at an auction. They can go a little higher sometimes, but it's about what they've been going
for.
It's cheaply made. But a few things I got to point out. this is an off the shelf log splitter engine that is very easy to deal with even
well into the future. It's not like some weird specific engine
for some weird machine. It's something you can go to the store
right now and buy off the shelf. You know, there's no electronics,
there's no computers, for the price. I'd buy one of these
for a kids birthday. All right, let's go work on something else So someone outbid
you already on the other one? Yeah. Yep. Yeah. I mean, these things are about to get a lot more expensive
once I published this video, so. Yeah, I'm trying to get on to that one. I should have bought more of them I didn't know I was going to be like this. I told you, Yeah, you're right. You was no good videos. Yes, Joe: Can it lift the machine completely up off the ground? Andrew: It will do that, its plenty strong It's got the strength it should have. This thing is strong
