all right good morning y'all we're in the van this morning and not a whole lot of sales to go to but half for that I want to hit so we're gonna try those out and then later on we'll probably go back y'all doing okay that works out because I'm pretty cheap okay I do just when I go to garage sales and I put it on YouTube channel so I do it every weekend yeah exactly it's fun okay back in the shed and yeah I just I mean I was out for like an hour y'all it wasn't much to like there were four sales and I went to the three of them were on the same street so it didn't take long at all I picked up this escort so low radar detector for a dollar this is like the oldest model I looked at the battery compartment and it was clean so I expected it should work when I looked up when I looked up escort so low radar detectors there were quite a few they did okay but they were all like s2 s3 s4 etc this is the original so it's not it's not nearly as expensive maybe 30 40 bucks max oh I got this this was interesting I just wanted to play around with it so I gave her a buck for this thing zerolemon it's a solar juice external battery so it's got solar cells on top and then it's got a battery inside oh it's got a flashlight on to our little LED light there and then it's got a couple of ports for charging stuff I thought that would be something cool to throw in the glove box play around with it see how well it worked yesterday I bought a I bought a car a charger for your car battery or starter also and when I was looking up comps you know I think we've all heard of this brand before or at least I have anyways when I was looking at comps I came across this brand Schumacher quite a few times this is a pretty good brand for that kind of stuff so I bought this for three bucks Schumacher dual rate battery charger 6/2 amp so oh okay you can charge either at 6 amps or 2 amps at 12 volts or it has a 6 volt mode so I got that for $3 I'll need to test it just like I tested the other charger I think I could do pretty well on that at that price and then the only other thing I got was the stuff that is in this camera case and it man this is a really nice I might sell this camera bag separate it's actually a very nice camera bag for a Samsung in X what is that I don't even know I don't even know what kind of camera that is but look look at this thing Kodak easy easy share c300 this looks like one of the like one of the first little digital cameras that's a not a very fancy little camera there feels so cheap my hand but it probably just takes batteries so it should be pretty easy to test it out and I paid $10 for this bag and the stuff in the bag there's a little lens hood and I've got some chargers that's a Samsung charger man I saw the charger I thought it was for this camera there is another charger alright this is a Nikon charger so this this charger goes with this camera I could sell that charger separate so this is a Nikon Coolpix something another coolpix it usually goes pretty good p80 this one's a little older there because it's only 10 megapixels so I don't know we'll see how it does but like I said this case is really nice in itself probably get back at least $10 just on this case the q-tips they're probably for cleaning I guess see if there's anything special in here $200 no kidding it's not anyway that's all I got how much that spend today ten when I spent 13 at one sale I spent 14 dollars on this stuff so there's definitely profit here was it worth going out I probably probably just barely but oh well yeah I got this too I think actually yeah this is decent profit probably probably I'm not sure mm-hmm I think if I make I think I'll be lucky if I have $80 profit here so anyways you know what we're gonna do now we're gonna pull a few orders oh I have something else I want to talk about all right so a while back when I was selling the MOOCs someone and I put my mug up for auction which ended last night by the way hadn't been paid for yet so I'm not gonna count that money till the tool auction gets paid for cuz you never know but it ended it 3:55 I think so if it gets paid for that's awesome but it hasn't been paid yet it's and it's been I don't know it hadn't been that long eight hours or so so we'll see what happens with that but whenever I started that auction another mug was being auctioned too and the guy that was auctioning it got a bunch of grief you know for auctioning auctioning the mug so what he was trying to do was to sell his mug and then surprise us with the donation to our charity American Cancer Society and he ended up getting a lot a lot of hassle and grief you know nasty messages and stuff like that which really sucks I hate that that happened whether whether he was donating it or not like that still shouldn't happen you should be able to buy things and resell them in my opinion but anyways he did sell that mug for $60 and check this out he sent the $60 cash money this is old-school eBay style right here cash money in an envelope with a nice little letter here so thank you so much I really do appreciate it Candice does too and sorry you had to go through that grief I really am what she did was really cool the very very heartwarming and we definitely appreciate it all right I just looked up the Nikon P 80 I think it's 35 to $40 camera so that's good that'll make that $10 buy worthwhile the other camera I haven't looked it up yet so kodak easyshare I noticed when I shook it that there was a sound so check this out battery compartment pretty sure that's ramen noodle so this thing is ramen powered apparently alright I tested both of the cameras out they both work so that's good so that's about yeah $50 worth of camera there total and then had that battery charger and I was just talking about the other battery charger that I bought yesterday well guess what that's the first item amount of pole I just sold $34.99 plus shipping something we're not talking huge money we're talking fast flip and easy money though I did test it for like a tested it for a few minutes on a lawnmower battery and it reported charging and it made all the right indications made all the video this pair of shoes sold these are cool I think I mean I'm trying to remember what year they're from I'm sure it's in the listing I ought to look at the listing because I knew I looked it up 1989 1989 this was part of the stuff I got from my guy this is one of those things where some of the stuff he knows what the stuff is worth and some of it he knows it's cool but he probably doesn't know it was worth because it was really hard for me to find out what this is worth myself there are quite a few of these same shoes that have sold for a lot less money but they're in keep like little kid sizes so these were really hard to price so I priced them up it's been a couple months now and I priced these up at $200 or best offer they're really cool look at the tag the tag that's like one of I'm gonna go ahead and give it a shot and I accepted and they paid within like five ten minutes so that was an awesome awesome flip I didn't like I thought they were worth somewhere around that but I thought it could take a while and uh yeah I finally got it so what a sale huh what a sale all right a couple of questions are common Maribeth gee I always wonder how you are doing this camerawork is it on a headset always great videos thank you Mary Beth so let me take this out real quick and I'll show you all right this is the little clip I use for what for garage sales this thing clips to the backpack see that has a big clip right here and then I can rotate this frame around up and down as I like now when I'm shooting in the shed course the camera being here but I'm filming with the camera but typically still use the same thing but I'll use this is like a handle and I'll just hold it and actually I'm holding it like this and I'm talking to myself like this so yeah this this thing is what I use it's like I don't know ten bucks or something on Amazon really really handy little deal it's it's about like just below my shoulder you know like on the backpack strap all right here's a question from barbershop 5 will USPS charge the flat rate according to the type of Franken Stein's box used or at that point is it by the weight destination as soon as you alter a box it's gonna be charged by dimensions and weight I typically some people say you cannot use flat rate boxes or regional rate boxes - Franken box with I'm not going to comment on that because I have actually seen I've actually seen stuff from USPS says they are to accept it and charge it like based on weight but a lot of people say you're not supposed to use them at all I'm not gonna get in that debate here but typically just to keep things like really clear I will not use flat rate or regional rate boxes whenever I'm doing my Franken boxing I will use like like this kind of box that's a number 7 box well about 12 by 8 I will use that whereas I will probably not use something like this this is a regional raid a box up above it so I don't know there there are rules to be followed and then there are other things that you can do that can make your life easier and like even if you can use flat rate products if you have a choice and you usually do because all these boxes are free I would suggest not using flat rate or regional rate products to like build your Franken boxes with just because you might run into some resistance with the post office and we don't want that we want things to go smoothly so I would I would use either my own boxes or regular boxes like this that are not flat rate products to do your Franken boxes with that's my suggestion anyway alright this is from hanger hut question do you exclude any countries when you ship internationally sometimes I do and you know what I'm not gonna say which ones I don't want to piss anybody off so I'm just gonna I'm just gonna not say I don't want to offend anybody there's probably there's way more places to get information on which countries are riskier than others to ship to so I'll leave that to your own devices but yeah there are some I don't ship to my next question is from PSG did you find your scale at a garage sale or borrowed it from DHL no I did not borrow it from DHL but somebody did how much did you pay for August of last year September last year and one of the viewers Steve be Steve boots of Casey he actually called my attention to a scale that was at auction and I went and looked at I was like oh that looks interesting so I'll put a bid in on it and I want it with I think it was the opening bid this is the actual listing right here Mettler Toledo shipping scale to 100 pounds capacity no reserve and I want it for $35 and I paid $20 shipping I paid $55 total for that so yeah I got it I stole that scale well I shouldn't say that because this property teach Hill I bought that scale for $55 where it came from before that I don't know but I'm assuming since I'm assuming eBay eBay like checks all that out before they let it be sold right so yeah I love the scale though is like dead-on dead-on accurate it seems to be anyways alright this next question is from bad-dog Lana you say you will refund shipping to the buyer how do you do this on eBay if there's some other stuff too but I think the crux of this question is how do you do this so you go to PayPal you don't do it through eBay you do it through PayPal if you want to offer a or give a partial refund now here's the thing like whenever you give the refund you do not get your final value feedback okay so keep that in mind and I'm gonna come in real tight but like here is where I sold the Batman shoes okay and I'm not showing anything any customer information here but see the payment details there then right below issue a refund if you click on issue refund then it'll go to another page where you can issue the refund and let me come in tight again and there it'll have the full amount pre-populated if I wanted to let's say I felt like I overcharged shipping by five dollars or something I could just punch five in here and then I can refund five or whatever the amount is that's where you can do either a full or partial refund now if it's a case where it's a nine ad or a return or things like that you want to do all that stuff through eBay because then you get well on returns and stuff you'll get your final value feedback and you know when you do refunds through PayPal you do not get your final value feedback all right one more question this is from why UWM Canadian how do you ship baseball bats I haven't found an efficient way yet I use and they did say they were in the States even though it says Canadian the username I use these these are medium mailing tubes now I haven't actually shipped a bat sold or shipped a bat since the change to the dimensional dimensional rates of priority so I've heard from some people that those are oversize and I've heard from others that they are not oversize so I they weren't oversize before it used to be like typical bat would be eight nine bucks for me to ship pretty much anywhere maybe ten dollars and most bats would ship it either two or three pounds typically bats I think would be two and then a larger bat might be three but yeah that's what I use as far as I know that's not oversized you just got to be careful with the dimensions you put in I actually think I thought I saw somebody in the comments a while back say that none of none of the USPS packaging is oversized so although there used to be one that was oversized and that and when I say oversized I mean that would require like dimensional weight in addition to just like the actual weight the one that was oversized was the regional see box which they had discontinued using but they still had millions of boxes so they still let you order them from the website for a while but they were like 16 by 12 by 12 or something like that there was a big box nice big box but it was oversized but other than that I don't think any are oversized so yeah anyways long story short use a poster tube you can
