for about a week I've been staying here in Busan South Korea also known as Korea's second most busiest city and the world's sixth largest port in the world you guys probably know Busan from the movie trained to Busan and all I've got to say is that this city is absolutely beautiful I came and visited Busan at the end of August or early September and I couldn't have asked for a better trip here yes there were some rainfall every single day but despite the rainfall it kind of makes up the city and the mood and feel of this place and although there were 15 separate districts that could probably take me about a few months to go explore and travel across I've been very satisfied across my week-long visit here from this video I'm going to be sharing with you guys some of my favorite places that I visited here in Busan and travel tips that might help you plan your trip so without further Ado let's get right into the video [Music] foreign things first this is something that really surprised me I had no idea back in 2009 according to the Guinness World Record Busan actually held the world's largest department store she used to get department store was rated the world's biggest department store and also if you're extremely indecisive like me Busan is a great place if you like mountains beaches and city the city has it all currently I'm at Hamilton Beach and yes you can see that it's a lovely and beautiful beach and one of Korea's most popular and biggest beaches and right behind me you'll see a lot of buildings a lot of buildings here and also if you just walk a little further or maybe if you want to throw up your drone you'll see mountains in the back and honestly three in one and I couldn't have asked for anything better foreign [Music] so if you're traveling for a short or a long period of time I'd highly recommend you sing over in Helena Beach not only do you get some of the most amazing Landscapes and views of Busan but there's a long walkway in Helena Beach where you have a lot of restaurants stores you've got some bars and you have some of the best street food here in Busan so I will also say too that if you guys are looking to come and party I don't think Busan is the right place you want to come to during my time here there's been a lot of families a lot of couples I do see a lot of Tours here but if you're looking for like the club scene Pusa is not where you want to be if you want more of the club scene soul is definitely where you want to be for that and I will say too there are a lot of hotel and guest houses options along the Highlander Street I just came from Southeast Asia and the prices of the hotels are double of what you are going to expect coming from Southeast Asia but Korea is not entirely budget but it's definitely cheaper than countries like America and also parts of Europe [Music] and then also with that too is Busan a solo travel friendly place yes I think it is but I think you also have more fun coming with friends for the public transportation here in Korea has been really spot on you have trains and you also have buses it's pretty easy to get around here you do need a download neighbor app and not use Google Maps in order to find your way around by calculate at least double the time of travel unless you just want to take taxis everywhere Texas are relatively cheap here and it will save you a lot a lot of time so before heading off to my next destination I actually have to cut my boots on trip short because tomorrow we're expecting one of the biggest typhoons here in Busan so I definitely don't want to get stuck here and I heard that when there's really bad weather here that the trains stop running and I don't really want to get stuck here although it's beautiful because my sister is visiting me and I haven't seen her in about eight months and I'm really excited to see and I don't want to miss out okay so before heading off to my next destination here in Busan if you guys haven't done so already please don't forget to subscribe onto this Channel and can you please come with the word squid games down below because I'm about to get some squid right now before heading off to Seoul okay and this is also kind of a side note but so my dad actually grew up in Busan and he used to live with his cousin and I'm on a mission to find him and I can't really find him but he even works worked or doesn't work anymore and a name and she called sari wandingmyon the it is a location in the sunshine mall I went to another location over in samyang District and I literally cannot find him so I'm on a mission but my dad was saying how he thinks I didn't ask the right question properly so challenge accepted foreign [Music] over to the infamous Panda Market Street and honestly every day that I've been here I've just been walking up and down the street there's a lot a lot of really good restaurants there's actually a really popular hot dog place there's just a lot of shopping here a lot of seafood a lot of street food and I think I've had almost every single street food here honestly if this is your first time here I would just recommend just walking through and getting a feel of the food here over in hand day foreign [Music] one which is about a dollar but I ended up buying like six here and they're really comfy Korea honestly if you guys are trying to get gifts for anyone back home socks are probably one of the most popular things you can get at the very end there is this hot dog stand with this lady who has literally some of the best hot dog I had cheese when they hooked up the other day and I can't stop thinking about it but if she's closed I'm so sad but I didn't know that she was on the news here so I swear if you guys are here cheese hot dog is literally like crack and I'm so sad I couldn't have it one last time oh my God oh my God this dough is so thick it's so good holy crap [Applause] [Music] come to your village this is honestly my favorite favorite part of Busan it's Jessica Long Street just full of just shops restaurants souvenirs colors and it has the best views of Busan this is my second time coming here this trip and I could come here every single week it is so beautiful it's kind of quiet right now because it's raining I mean after the typhoon coming tomorrow so I think a lot of people are just trying to evacuate and leave Busan it's also cross your fingers I can get a ticket up to Seoul tomorrow the one thing I do love about gumtion Village is that there are so many rooftop cafes there are also a lot of Alleyways this one actually came by the other day it's Supersonic and took some photos here [Music] and all around the street you'll find a lot of souvenir shops a lot of them actually sell like little handbooks so those are traditional Korean clothing that you wear when you get married I think you also wear them for holidays I actually wore one when I was here earlier in Seoul but I'm gonna take you guys over to my favorite Cafe here with really stunning views it's honestly just so beautiful here I can really stay here forever foreign actually came to this Cafe how cool here there's an outdoor patio you can go to and upstairs [Music] foreign [Music] and I love how there's just like low fog on the mountain right now ugh can't get any better but I'm glad I came here right now because it's gonna get dark within half an hour or so but honestly come to a village you guys have to come to and this Cafe I will say that you will probably see people here early in the morning depending on what day and time that you come but every single time that I've been here there's always been people I got off a random stop after the gumchon village and I'm on my way to golchi Market and actually I came across this other Market here I don't know the name of this place but it's like perpendicular to the Galaxy Market but there's just a lot of seafood and I have a feeling that by the time I walk all the way down here it's going to lead me to the market but something I guess I realized is that when it rains a lot of the stores close I mean hence they are Outdoors however it's currently 7 p.m and I expected there to be actually more shops and markets open but it's pretty empty here so I think it's really because of the rain everyone is just kind of eating chilling inside of these huts and there's really unique Seafood I had this one meat I don't remember it's like tanky cookie Jamie or something like that I don't know what that is but there's some meats and some fish here I've really never seen in my life so it's kind of cool actually from the looks of it guys this is actually the Galaxy Market I actually just started from the very back coming to the front right next to the Lotte World building so there is just a lot of fish here I feel like this Market is more for like locals to buy fish for home or to eat on the spot I will say that if you don't understand Korean it might be a little bit difficult to order the food here last time I was here I didn't really eat outdoors but inside one of the restaurants over here well I think it's just a cool Street to kind of walk around and experience and I actually heard that in this building you can bring your food that you buy and they'll cook anything for you I haven't tried it myself so don't mark my word but and someone leave a comment down below if I am accurate on that thanks [Music] [Applause] [Music] by the Christmas tree from the geography Market is Busan International Film Festival if you're curious know there's not really a film festival here right now I think they do every year but there's a lot of street food here it's kind of just like a nice end to the day kind of walk to see some of the locals which are selling the food they have this it's called ojingo squid it's like dry squid it's also really good I ate this growing up um if you're not familiar with it you might be like what is that but honestly just I would recommend getting a small amount so good no I was looking for this one guy who has this really really crazy dope Mochi sand here but he's unfortunately not here right now I'm so sad I had it the other day and I was like I've never seen this type of dessert before in my life but if you guys are here you literally have to try it and get yourself a pack or two to go because it's okay it kind of looks like white hair but it's made out of honey and he wraps it up for you and it's just like a really amazing dessert there's like three flavors I think there's strawberry chocolate and just a plain one and I do recommend you getting the one with the plain and the strawberry I want to buy like five back home first of my family in Korea I mean up in Seoul but oh my gosh I totally recommend that one I'm gonna walk around again to see if he's there in case I miss him but oh it's so good I've never seen anything like it before [Music] walking around a bit of a square you'll find a lot of the arcades and they're all around the street and there's a lot of pin toys that put a game here you've got Pokemon you've got a lot of different type of toys to get and I guess that's the thing to do here I honestly haven't done one of these in so long because my luck is not the best when it comes to games so foreign Beach and on Saturdays there is a drone show from 8pm and another one at 10 p.m so it actually is drizzling right now so I'm not entirely sure if they're gonna have a drone show but it's nicely 2 p.m so I'm gonna wait here for about eight minutes and see if they actually have the show I'm really excited because I came and saw it last week and it's really beautiful no way that's so sweet [Music] so the one cool thing about Korea is that their underground shopping is huge I randomly came across the samyama station and found this underground shopping and so what the underground shopping centers are really known for are their cheap clothing but the one thing you cannot do is try on the clothes I think because they're so cheap that they don't want to ruin the material the quality but honestly if you guys are here you guys have to just walk up and down the shopping center from the looks of it I think you could just come in through any entrance because all the entrance and exits actually lead up to just a random spot within the underground station I will also say too Korea has dope fashion a lot of things here are just very simple but it's fashion and a lot of people here they just dress up really really nicely a lot of the stores I will say have very similar items from each other but really like the quality of the clothes here it's really good for the price the sweater that I just bought cost me 13 000 one with a credit card which is equivalent to nine dollars and some change but honestly I just feel like you can't beat these prices and there's also branded Face Care store like Nature Republic you got ears piercings you got a lot of different things and a lot of different options out here so honestly I'm really glad that I saved my shopping until Korea because all throughout southeast Asia I really wanted to shop but the space of my luggage so we just got over to one of my favorite places here in Busan the audio doll the Skywalk and it's absolutely beautiful it's like right before golden hour so we got it at right time change all of her shoes you actually can't go in with your bare feet it's really windy we came from like half an hour away the change so okay on my way to Flying fill in Jessica [Applause] 's light is so perfect I found you guys this is Jessica and Phil so Phil actually I purposely plan to meet him here in Korea and became Jessica actually attacked some soul so we also come to put them together and so the time to explore again I just got over to the hair the hair dong Young Thug Temple I tried to get here for Sunset but I don't think there's going to be a sunset because it rained not too long ago there are 12 shrines here that actually came from China I'm excited to see whoa oh my God [Music] oh my God Phil I'm so sorry that you're gonna come here I think he's gonna be so upset this is really beautiful wow it's literally surrounded by rocks and sculptures and I think the sign actually said that it opens at four in the morning so people can pray I guess so I'm just kind of walking around now before it closes oh my God there's like a golden statue in the water the most beautiful temple in Korea that is a very bold statement but I believe it [Music] it is 6 25 and it is supposed to be golden hour but there's a lot of clouds and thankfully it's not raining so I'm gonna throw our two up right now and see what I can get I see a little bit of color and I'm so excited to draw this [Music] so far my time here in Busan has been really amazing this place is just really absolutely beautiful I love how there's just so much to do here so much culture here and being in Busan really makes me proud of being a Korean but I hope you guys enjoyed watching this video on exploring the motherland I hope this video helped plan your trip better and if you haven't done this already don't forget to like
