Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Doesn’t really matter who or how the parts cost was the covered. Seems like it would be a cool bike, and Seth wasn’t saying it was supposed to be affordable, unless I missed some point he was making it was a dream titanium bike if money were no concern?
Seth definitely deserves it
The bike was super nice. Love the design and colour scheme. Dreamy! Seth deserves that lvl of bike. You can't ignore the quality content and humble attitude. Dudes earned it. A digital mtb spring that spreads our reach.
Just got done at coler. I had a blast minus the fact I decided today was going to be the 1st day ever to clip in! 😆 I didn't fall over once. I almost did. Naturally, it was the last 5 min ride back to the truck. The lower horizontal trails were a little wet but not too bad. All the jump lines were primo tacky!
The amount of work Seth has put into his channel, career and the content is down-right incredible and awe-inspiring, so why the dig at Seth? Sure, you put a lot of money into your YETI but you had no clue what you were buying and for what purpose that bike was made, same as with your Enduro bike that you bought for Bentonville, it makes no sense.
I just want to add to those comments about your Meta’s shock not having a piggyback.
Without a piggyback you’re fine for up to 15 minute descents normally. Feel the shock after a long descent for you and if it’s decently warm it wouldn’t be a bad idea to upgrade but if it’s just a tad warm then you’re fine. I’ve had shocks without piggybacks have the seals come out on 25 minute descents and they were hot.
I’d definitely recommend one if you’re shuttling (which you appear to be). I’d say that you should keep an eye out on pinkbike for a good deal and get it when it comes around but it’s not super urgent.
I’d recommend something like a Super Deluxe or a Float X. A DPX2 or X2 also wouldn’t be bad options either.
Hardtails are fun. He will enjoy the bike. Patiently waiting for my custom Neahaus Metalworks Hummingbird
If I tallied up the cost of my hard tail (which i probably shouldn't) counting the 2 sets of wheels I bought because I blew a set up im probably into my 2018 kona explosif for around 8800$ (canadain) and i absolutely love it. i want something a little slacker so a new chromag frame and cane creek fork are on their way which pushes me into the over 10K into my hardtail lmao. I dont regret a penny spent!
