Building Loft Bedrooms for Different BRATZ DOLLS in The Sims 4

today in The Sims FL I want to build a big modern Bratz mansion with Loft style rooms for the original Bratz dolls we'll be building today for Sasha Chloe Jade and Yasmin although many more brat dolls were added since their original 2001 release Bratz had this sassy edgy diverse sens of style that made them unique at the time which actually even made them controversial to some parents the Bratz Market flourished though resulting in multiple movies a TV show and even Brat's video game including my favorite Brat's Rock angels and although the production of Bratz dolls has been Rocky over the past decade being discontinued multiple times and then brought back they still have a pretty big community of fans especially across the internet and among doll collectors alike so this is the dollhouse that I'm using as inspiration today except I want to update it normally when I build a house in The Sims 4 I'll do the entire exterior first and then we'll go in and furnish but today we're going to go in right away and make sure our l will work so for what I'm planning this shell has to be pretty big we'll start off just with one big rectangle and then I'm going to add on some parts to make it look more interesting like this and then paging up this is where we're going to be having our Loft bedrooms I'll bring the shell out this way a little bit maybe we can bring something out at the front I think my entry might end up being on the top floor so I'm adding stairs and I'll just put a random door here just as a placeholder all right so entry will be right there I need stairs leading down down to the main level so those are going to go here we'll just stick those right in there for now I'm making this a half wall and then along the back here this is where I want the bedrooms to be so I'm going to section off four of them we can do 1 2 3 and then maybe one over to this side and then once we've got that all carved out we can go in with the hammer tool and delete that center part and we're going to have to do some fixing but we'll just pull this back a little bit so it's closed in We'll add some columns just holding up that entry part and then for now for the bedrooms I'm just going to replace the walls with a glass fence and now you can kind of see where this is going we'll have ladders leading up all of the bedrooms will be facing a main living room down in the middle will use all their favorite colors to decorate the bedrooms so everything is all set up in here now that I know that my interior layout will work how I want it to now we can go back outside and do the exterior when you're building Lofts the interior is extremely important because you need a lot of room for it and I didn't want to finish off the exterior and then go in and then we're kind of screwed and stuck but now we can do the roofing I'm going to keep it pretty simple I'm planning on having a very detailed kind of landscaping up here so for now I'm playing around with these hip roofs and basically just trying to find something that will stick I'm going to keep with this like Mediterranean Red Roof just because in their dollhouse that is the style that they have I'm going to add fences on my balconies this one is from City living and I'm actually going to keep this part here open I actually wanted to use these glass panels from Island living I'm adding the these right onto this flooring piece we'll add some trim so that that stops I'm adding flooring underneath here because I actually want to add a pool there I'm also adding flooring at the front here for a driveway so I have this all set up here I added some columns from HSE ranch and for our wallpaper the dollhous I'm looking at is very yellow toned so I think I'm going to use this base game wallpaper and I'm just going to add that all over for now that'll be our base we'll use booknook wallpaper for the garage and for my front windows I'm going to be using these ones from base game we'll add an Open Door leading to the balcony some HSE Ranch windows at the bottom and for the size I want to have a lot of lighting coming in so I'm just going to add a lot of these ego lifestyle windows and we're just opening this entire thing up my front door will be this one from for rent and we've got all our Basics laid out let's start adding the fun part so this is where I said I wanted a pool so I'm going to add one right here I think I'm also going to add one in the back this this is going to be extra it's Bratz I'm using these pink base game lawn chairs near the pool and I also wanted to add these fountains from spa day in between my pool and everything I'm adding this gravel from base game and I'm just going to bring that all the way around pretty much the entire house as like a floor trim and then I'm closing all of this in with a stone base game fence I have all of my debug cheats turned on so I'm looking for a car for the driveway maybe we can add two and then obviously since we're in oaas Springs I did want to add a bunch of palm trees around so I'm using a combination of the base game ones and the ones from Island living so I'm going to finish off the rest of this Landscaping in a sec but let's go around to the back I want to have like a million things for our brats to do they love hanging out together spending time together so I really want to give them an entire outdoor area where they can host chill together I'm going to give them a big TV back here in front of the bar we'll have a dining table here with some dream home decorator chairs I'm giving them a barbecue and I'm actually adding some perfect patio counters right beside my hot tub and this way we can actually add towels here we could use it as a table for drinks and then over here I'm adding a prola I'm adding some floring underneath here and I wanted to make them a super chill workout spot I'm thinking we do yoga because I can match their favorite colors to the yoga mats I'm going to give you more of a rundown of each individual doll once we go inside but we're obviously going to do blue for Chloe Green for Jade yellow for Yasmin and I wanted to do red for Sasha I think I'm going to give her this one it's giving more pink but I like it but then we're going to add this super cute pastel Fountain from Jungle Adventure I forgot all about this item and this Swatch it's so pretty in live mode it's like an active Fountain how relaxing would that be so this is how my more modern version of the Brat's doll house turned out it has such a unique feel to it but I feel like it does fit in with the Oasis spring Vibe I tried to just match what was going on around so we see a lot of cacti Landscaping that I used I also connected these base game Landscaping pieces from debug we have a super chill hangout area by the pool on one of our top balconies I added this couch from growing together along with a record player from Modern Lux over here we have some chairs I added some magazines on this table for them and then in the back we have the most relaxing backyard keep in mind too they're overlooking the Valley so they have a really nice view back here we've got our yoga we have our pool I like that the pool has a unique shape to it with that debug Landscaping piece we have our hot tub dining area and bar so tons to do out here already and now we can go inside and since we already have our layout figured out we can go right to doing the bedrooms and I think we're going to start off with Chloe so Chloe's nickname is Angel because whatever she wears she makes it look Divine I did not make this up she loves exotic prints and sparkly Fabrics her favorite color is turquoise she's playful dramatic and absolutely loves photography beauty products and makeup so first we need to find a bed and for Chloe she's extra I'm tempted to give her one of these three let's try this one here for now I know she's into animal prints so I'm going to use this rug from high school years and I know I want to divide the room so I'm going to use this divider from my wedding stories We'll add a vanity right here we're going to see a lot of Boulder patterns and prints today Bratz were all about that I definitely want to add makeup for her so we're adding these ones here from high school years and the camera stuff will come from Moschino oh wait high school years actually also has that clutter with the camera on it that is perfect but then I also wanted to add a table here with all of her other camera stuff so we're adding a blue table from vintage Glamour and on top of there we can add a camera from mosino there's also some base game cameras so this will be all about that photography hobby she has I don't I know that I'm sold on this bed there was also this one let's try that instead I'm adding some layered curtains to give it that Angelic feel these are modern Lux combined with the desert Lux kit I'm also adding this lighting over the bed from high school years oh we need the fashion pictures from Modern Lux I remember her doing like cheerleading so I want to add some pom poms around these ones are wal Decor from high school years and I'm tempted to use this chair from the decor to the max kit then over to this side I'm going to use a blue dresser from high school years and I also wanted to give her a more open closet so I'm adding on some of these hanging clothes we use a jungle Adventure mirror on the wall some shoe clutter so this is how Chloe's bedroom turned out I added some more skill items like we have this soccer ball I remember there being like a Chloe soccer doll so I did that for her I also added a microphone over here we have all of her clothes over there and I feel like it has an Angelic feel to it these are all going to look so good once they're done but next I want to go over to yasmin's room yasmin's nickname is pretty princess she has a more retro Bohemian style and loves Earth Tones and fun textures her favorite colors are Autumn Shades she enjoys thrifting animals creative writing and yoga so I saved this room over here for her because it's the least open one because out of the bunch she tends to be more on the quiet side Yasmin was actually my personal favorite I loved her as a kid her style spoke the most to me so I'm going in with like a nature inspired pattern friendly Bohemian build this pastel pop kit rug is perfect with that retro pattern and I was thinking about giving her this record player we'll have some records hanging out right near it I'm going to raise up some makeup and put that on top of here we'll go with a dresser from for rent but I'm going to add this old retro TV from Eco lifestyle facing the bed I'm adding some jewelry on here we're definitely including this yoga mat somewhere and I think think I might use the my wedding stories divider again as Decor we're going to add this fancy vintage looking mirror these chairs from Island living and I was thinking about using these planty curtains from blooming rooms combined with these boho high school years curtains we need way more plants a guitar and I've added this vanity but I actually want to use it as a desk so she could write here so I'm taking an actual desk placing it right there and we're going to size it all the way down I'm going to shove it back a little bit and then you can actually place a laptop on top of there and Sims will be able to sit once we add a chair so there we go I'm also going to add this notebook with a pen maybe a cute animal statue a laundry day rug and I also wanted to add a spot meditation pillow which is just facing outside to that rock so this is yasmin's Loft bedroom this is totally my style I love the boho look but it's still giving Glam we still have the crazy bold prints the fashion aspect with all our access accessories and makeup everywhere it's going to be tough to beat this one for me this one so far is my favorite but next we're going to move on and do Jade's bedroom Jade's nickname is cool cat she has an edgier more bold sense of style and loves alternative fashion and pushing the limits her favorite color is green and she's described as confident smart and Trend setting she's also into thrifting magazines and science so for this one we can definitely go a little bit darker with our Decor I was thinking about using this dark green and black bed from cottage living I definitely want to use these black curtains for modern Lux I wanted to give her a desk over to this side and I was thinking about this one from high school years and there's also like a cat chair her whole thing is about cats so I'm considering giving her one of these and I was also thinking about giving her the amps from Moschino we'll give her this guitar in the background maybe a cat mirror and also the cat light for my first pet stuff I could see her maybe having post on the wall I'm giving her magazine clutter I feel like they're all getting magazine clutter and also I'm going to give her the trunk from mosquito as well so so far we have this for that side and then over here I still need a dresser what if we tried this one from City living we can add one of the neon mirrors from high school years and for some reason I was picturing these from Tiny living so this is what I ended up doing for Jade's bedroom I really like the pink Incorporated with the green and like the black over to this side I give for a bookshelf some more cat clutter the bean bag chairs I'm trying to make sure in all of these that they have seating and a room to like hang out together if they want to I love how unique these ones are all turning out from each other like you can clearly tell who is whose but we have one more Loft bedroom to go which is going to be Sasha's Sasha's nickname is Bunny Boo she's sassy confident and organized her favorite color is red and she absolutely loves music especially hipop and R&B and she has has a passion for urban Styles and Street fashion so for Sasha's room I want to go very bold and vibrant with the colors that we choose I was thinking about this bed from high school years and I think I want to pull colors from this graffiti from get together it has the red in it I want to bring in purples and greens I'm going to have to stick to high school years to match this color although dream home decorator also has something similar I wanted to give her this bookshelf with the bunnies on it also the cute bunny guitar I had these windows here but I hate how they're glitching like why are there pieces of my wall hanging out oh actually this window looks good here just like Jade's room I want posters on this wall I was thinking about having a dresser right here this one has a little bunny on it and we need more music in here I was thinking about adding a stereo like this but I could also see one of the DJ stations from get together and then on top of there I could add some cute bunny things like this from cottage living and also this little one from Parenthood I am also going to give her a microphone oh no now I'm going to just keep finding things that are perfect for other rooms like this is perfect for Jade I guess one extra thing won't hurt and this would have been perfect for Sasha all right so this is going to be Sasha's Loft bedroom I picture her up here just jamming away while everyone else is down there like if they have a party or if they're just hanging out she can be the one making all the music over here I'm loving how they look also like just like this this whole house is so unique but I still need to finish off the rest of it I think we're going to have two bathrooms in the back here this will be an open main area living room kitchen will be right here and for the garage I was thinking about turning that into a big walk-in closet for them so it's like they converted this into their own fashion space we can use this super vibrant closets from get famous I also wanted to add the Wardrobe platforms facing the mirrors and then I have these awkward areas that just looked good on the outside so I'm going to line this area with shelves from dream home decorator and then we'll just fill fill all of this up with the hanging clothes I'm pretty much adding any other fashion clutter that I can find so there we have an entire converted closet garage this can be so fun they can come in here try an outfit I basically just had no use for this room so I figured we may as well make a massive closet this is going to be our main living room our hangout spot I'm sizing up this rug from City living and I'm going to add a massive dream home decorator sectional going all the way around here we can invite over all our other Brat's friends that were not included in this video and I'm just going to go super extra with like the rest of the decor in this house I wanted to add like the button Bater in here for them I didn't get to use this mirror which I really wanted to use so I think I'm going to stick one of those in the bathroom for now we can add some of the modern Luxe Decor like this could look good in here I'm also adding pillows to this couch cuz it looks very bare with nothing on it and then over to this side I added a bookshelf from Modern Lux I'm adding in some of the poofs from City living so so far the this is what our living room is looking like we've got the big open space for everyone I added a desk with a computer over here and then I've also started on the dining room our kitchen is going to be attached in the back over here as well so I'm going to line this whole area with these counters from spa and I think I'll do some different tile in here I'm filling this entire thing up with clutter so this is what we have for our kitchen and then for our massive bathrooms I want to include it all like I want to do this jacuzzi from get famous we can do the massive mirrors from vintage Glamour and I'm thinking about using this divider again I don't know why I can't get enough of it today the my wedding stories one I also want to add a counter over here with like a hair dryer some robes the Vintage glamour perfume so this is how our bathrooms turned out nothing was off the table here I added tons of mirrors in this one I even used that base game like funky toilet tons of patterns happening and then for the other one I went for a softer more chowy inspired bathroom down here this one is maybe a little bit more Zen but at the same time we have an entire dresser and vanity over to this side so definitely still very extra I also needed to add something at the top of our entryway so I just folded it together with another seating area and that's how our Brat's mansion with Loft style bedrooms turned out in The Sims
