what's going on guys and welcome back to another video if you guys are new here hit that subscribe button down below leave a like on this video if you enjoy it this is what we'll be doing on the far side they look just like these they said on top of the 8 bite posts got a couple little details in there nothing crazy though should be fun as you guys can see though it's a sunny day out here in California we're gonna get some tools rolled out and get to it I wanted to say thank you to all of you as of right now we're at fifty one thousand six hundred subscribers my goal when we started this build was to break 50 thousand we did it so we've got a post here this is the beam that's gonna run from the existing over onto this place and then this last one here is going to pocket back into our new construction alright q do you wanna talk about this morning you couldn't lift it no they're happy [Music] let's shut those doors and put a streamline [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so we got all this demoed here all the way up is cut back TNG and the sheeting we took out that last or after it which is cut there we have to take out this beam they had notches and lands right here working out to put in a new beam from here out to there from there it's going to tie back into the building hip goes out rafters off of there fill in TNG and it's done [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] so that pocket will want to be like [Music] coming together we just got to tie back into the building hip out throw our rafters in [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so we got a majority of this wrapped up today we've still had to demo the top of that four by six take out that old beam that was in there and splice in a new one and that was a little bit of a challenge but as you can see came out pretty clean for what it is we come out to here we custom cut these little corbels here beam pockets back into the building tomorrow we'll work on getting our hip cut and back up run our rafters out do all of our fill T&G fascia sheet and we are 100% done the winery build playlist is closing and I'll have to find something new to do I hope you guys have been enjoying the build story so far if you haven't already go ahead and click the icon in the top right hand corner it'll take you through days one until now picky little spot up here as you can see that being their notches and goes down this beam notches and goes up they interlock just like that s DWS screws down through the top now this is going to be a two-in-one video because tomorrow we'll be wrapping up this roof and that's it this will be our closing video right now all right day two wearing it this place wrapped up we've got this beam pocket that lands right in here we've got to get two studs beside it something up underneath it to hold that and support it so what we're gonna do right now after that way after that we're gonna stack out the roof on the outside get it seated and we're done first we have to demo this stuff though take out all these blocks all the way up put it in a study here study here mail it through it and then doubled up underneath it to hold it [Music] [Music] so we've got our beam pocket in here to Thule is supporting it blocks up there to finish it off it's done we're gonna head back outside and start working on that little roof out there [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] came out clean real clean [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] that [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] these boots have had one of the best break-in times out of any Buddha ever worn if you guys want to snag a pair with a discount go ahead and click the link in the description below we've got this roof that we finished up yesterday it was dark when we finished it so you guys didn't get a chance to see it let's check it out now the Builder originally wanted equal gaps from here here and here but we talked him into doing matching rafters on both sides to where they line up on each side of the hip in my opinion it looks ten times better came out nice came out real nice tie back into existing that beam notches up onto the other one [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so we've got this tie-in coming from over here carries on out this way once it's roofed you'll never know the only thing you're gonna notice is the fact that the wood that we've got down below is brand new and the stuff that has been here and has been out here since 2006 what we wanted to do originally everything that we demoed here ages ago we kept all of it aside from all the TNG up top so we have all of the 8 by 8 posts we have all of the beams we have everything we wanted to reuse that same material here since we've got it and it would have matched all the way through post-and-beam wise the TNG would have looked brand-new but that'll fade over time unfortunately the Builder didn't want to go that route so we ended up buying everything brand-new [Music] we mark the bottom there three and 12 pitch for the roof got that stick it on we're all through what what's up do as you're told no that thing I'm gonna take you guys down show you the underside of this real quick you didn't get to see it last night it got a little dark really quick I was also working in barefoot for like the last three hours there's a drain down there for an outdoor sink and somehow someway I ended up stepping my foot into it and I sunk about a foot down into this thing and my gosh the water in there I think it's been in there for about a month since this has been poured and it smelled like gnarly sewage so yeah I took my shoe off and worked barefoot freely pretty much the rest of the afternoon just took a little bit longer than expected I'm going to show you guys a cut from down there we did it yesterday it took quite some time to get it figured out because we had one shot at cutting this and everything we ordered with special order how do i screed this cut up this roof wouldn't get done for a couple more weeks let's take a second to appreciate that dang so this notch is up and over both beams here and as you can see it doesn't get much tighter punches up over both these beams and then notches down on the outside right up there we have to cut in a louver up in here we're gonna get to that right now do you know how to drive that thing [Music] so now what we're gonna do is take and train this in 36 minutes order by 36 and quarters are ro from there we'll take the router on the outside poke it on through cut out our opening and it's done [Music] [Music] so we're wrapping up loose ends the facial on that gable end right there was never put on we were actually short of material when we ordered so it didn't get put on until today as of now all of our framing is wrapped up after today we're complete with what we're here to do they do want us to come back and do some head outs and stuff for the other trades so we will be back a couple days and then we have all the plywood and insulation to go back up in the main building it's gonna be fun to put up we'll see how that goes anyways we just loaded up all the pine from the roof behind me we're gonna head out to the beach tonight have ourselves a little bonfire relax and enjoy the weekend do you guys enjoyed this video please give it a big thumbs up hit that subscribe button down below and I'll see you guys in our next video [Music] [Music] you
