BTS Singing On Carpool Karaoke

hey Joel just a quick preface for your video that you're putting out today so you thought this certain member of BTS was Jimin the one that can speak English correct was it Jimin do you want to apologize say again please be kind to him he means RM welcome back guys so a couple days ago the BTS carpool karaoke came out and I think it's always super fun to see these huge artists like BTS and you know Adele or whatever sing in such a casual setting so let's check it out see what it's like see what they're like I'm excited to hear them sing without the whole apparatus of everything and if you guys don't know BTS is the biggest band in the world it's insane it's they're they're bigger than like the Beatles pretty much let's just jump into it I got this set up like thanks so much for helping me get to work as is it a joke what are they trying to do is like haha wouldn't it be crazy if BTS came and helped me get to work by being in the car that I'm driving myself anyway that's setup so weird it's like the first setup you would come up with if you were improvising you're like oh thanks for helping me get to it but it doesn't even make sense how are they helping to drive the car anyway anyway [Music] I would lie if I said that I understood anything that they're singing but it's cool I'm not great the Korean man the drops and everything in BTSs music always really slap like us still they are in the back everyone in the front yeah and they're like like we're not on camera we're like we're we're very much in the back Korean is not great do you often sort of translator for the yeah of course yeah and how did you learn English actually I've taught myself by my friends friends yeah watching the TV show friends yeah haha he learned it from friends the TV show that's funny I'm surprised he's not a whiny ER considering he learned from Ross the whiniest character in TV history this guy's actually really funny God I can see that though they always would have to be like really charming and stuff to have the type of crazy following they have like again the world's biggest band there's so many people like even you know in the US and you know in Europe and everything people are totally obsessed is for those who you are not aware like there is definitely not like mainly a Korean thing anymore it's like just everywhere [Music] he's cringing that that is a cringe phrase if I ever seen one and he's just like no it's fun oh it's gonna be really hard to be a group like this because it's very hard to all be on board with the same stuff all the time and I think it's very easy to become like a little bit anti when everyone's like yeah I could totally see it [Music] [Laughter] hey this is not a me TS song I feel away it's always like this on carpool karaoke the only thing that made me really excited to watch it is what's that BTS on it I haven't really watched a lot of carpool karaoke but I think it would be interesting to do more maybe kind of like check it out see how people are singing the reason I've never really kind of like looked at them or made videos on them have been that I always feel like James Corden keeps singing over everyone all the time and it bothers me like I kind of want to hear like Adele or someone saying and then James Corden is like yeah a table with this like full set oh and I'm like uh Brad don't I want to hear the good seat I wouldn't if they do this live then because they know it's so well be just know this song so well so maybe they were done this is a cover or something on their tour because I mean I'm sure there's BTS stands in the comments I can tell me but man they know it really well it sounds really good and they're like there's such good dancers and stuff man I wish I had half the swag of them they're truly like that package like just like like really good looking really good at dancing get it sing like all this stuff I think the weirdest part about them is just how many they are have there ever been a successful Western group like from the US or from Europe that has been this many members like this many singers yeah I think we probably got to see it's considering how successful BTS are I think we're probably gonna get our own kpop bands eventually [Music] that's good belting man those nuts are high in in that sign my baby don't play yeah that's awesome they're great singers I mean it's a big thing right to choose your favorites BTS member I mean so far it's just because he's the one who's been talking to most and been joking around the motion it's hard not to feel it for me Ellie said I am it's my favorite but maybe that's something I need to explore in another video I don't Dave did a video and it's BTS bias he also wraps which is cool I don't know how many others rap I don't know a lot about BTS wait that looks rehearsed did they rehearse this yes ah man that's all said oh and those the ad-libs were stellar it's so fun I love this song so much as they call them ugly i-ight fair if you're a car with the BTS members you will always be relatively ugly I guess this is embarrass it does something really interesting when you don't know like what they're singing like I can't understand the lyrics it just becomes about kind of like the music of it like it definitely lose this one dimension for me when I don't understand it like if you're a super friend of course you could definitely look up what the lyrics mean and everything and that would be hella cool but like it doesn't have that immediate thing like when I hear like an insurance Ong or something and I immediately know what it means that he can kind of like speak to me immediately like the supermarket flowers is something by ed sheeran which makes me feel like immediate like like sadness over aging and death and stuff like I don't know what they're singing about but it sounds really good and it's fun and that's enough you know for that kind of thing I mean a lot of that type of music anyway like the uplifting type of music will often have lyrics that not really lead anywhere extra emotionally anyway it's more about the vibe and I'm definitely vibing with this alive [Music] he can sing my falsetto is my weakest part of my voice I'm so sure I cannot hit those notes properly yeah it doesn't sound that doesn't even sound close to as good as him or as on pitch it's really struggle with falsetto main it's it's I I do practice it hopefully I get better but right now when I see someone who can do it really all I'm like I'm also like definitely to me the most distinctive looking that's also why he's my bias I guess and like I don't know like the other ones also have practiced inked of looking like everything but he looks so different from like that food of course it's fruit so when Jonas my producer slash editor lived here we actually never fight about anything we've we've never fought at all I think not my little mochi oh they're really funny it's funny that this sense of humor can kind of translates through cultures and languages you were most excited to meet wow that's interesting such like new singers like puts Malone I guess that would be true for me as well like I wouldn't want to go and like see someone that I was into like ten years ago whatever you would have to be like someone like post Malone or Charlie puth or something that I'm like really into right now hey this song is called circles I just did a video about that the other day check it out after you watch this video my thing now it's the aw they're so cute that's weird they're bringing out something in me I've had never felt before nah well that was the ex kind of feminine ly in some ways like like that this smiling I like the guy - they're right there that's just like so like cutesy not much to say about the singing here it's just kinda like gang vocals if there's yes what happens is this your way of asking me to join the band okay this I care what they're doing okay I want to see far more to death ah so they actually planned that that's fun imagine the pressure of needing to lead BTS in a dance workout it feels like if like Beyonce would come to me and be like Oh Joe will you give me a singing lesson or like Adam Lambert or something or like damash or whatever and I'd like so let's sing lalala lalala lalala that would be my nightmare the BTS guys move so well maybe those are not bands compatible close so this I think is kind of like the tongue-in-cheek thing that kind of bothers me is how they present everything like it's so spontaneous like maybe since we're happy yes here now maybe you guys could come to my dance class it's like just say oh so now let's go to the dance class I don't know I always struggle with like when you're kind of like it's not really a joke you know it's just kind of lying because you think it might seem more interesting if it was improvised like an improvised day but it isn't you know it hurts me a little bit maybe it's like I don't know what an equivalent for youtuber would be like maybe I should there isn't because youtubers are actually spontaneous while this would have to be pre Lina planned forever you can't just walk around with BTS anywhere and not get stopped or whatever or even with James Corden either why seems quartum wearing big hoodie when he's sweating that much there was some kind of like body thing like he doesn't want to show his goods hey that was a nice video great job James Corden and BTS I really enjoyed it super fun heard some really good singing in there got to know the BTS voice a little bit better this proper juggernauts when it comes to just music in general in the world right now really cool I want to learn more about BTS if there are any BTS stands watching this video let me know okay here are
