[Music] hey what's going on guys welcome to the channel gen did commando my name is ryan and i'm a former royal marine from the united kingdom and today we're going to be reacting to five reasons that you shouldn't mess with the united states of america now being honest you only really need one reason not to mess with them just don't do it all right it's a bad idea simple as that i've worked alongside the us military they are unbelievable and they've got loads of money so just don't do it guys but today i'm gonna find out what the other four reasons are and if you are looking forward to this one like share and subscribe to the channel if you want to become a member to support me a little bit more on the channel then press the join button but without further ado let's just get straight into this one troops see you in the comments the collapse of the soviet union in the early 90s left the united states as the sole superpower in the world and it's never looked back in all aspects of the world the united states is indeed a superpower especially when it comes to its military might which is unsurpassable in its strength technological superiority operational capabilities and power projection across the globe in this video we'll take a look at the five top reasons why you wouldn't want to go against the us military establishment the united states air force is the strongest in the world not only in the number of operational aircraft but also in technological superiority the country currently operates a total of over 15 000 military aircraft combining all the branches of the military service including the u.s navy u.s army coast guard and the u.s marines all right guys so just to put that into a little bit of perspective for you in terms of size the royal marines have anywhere between four and six thousand give or take members of of that military organization now the united states has more planes than that which is you know i can't even begin to imagine i can't get my head around it guys it's phenomenal as of 2017 the us air force alone has a fleet of over 5 300 aircraft 406 intercontinental ballistic missiles and 170 military satellites greater than any other country in the world the usa has the largest number of stealth aircraft designed to be silent killers and untrackable by the radar defense systems of most so these stealth bombers and stuff and these stealth technologies that they've got you know the other variants of that technology exists around the world globally but america has technology technological advancements far greater than i think even people who are in the know actually know my guess is they've got technology that's 20 30 50 years more advanced potentially than its counterparts you know they're so so effective and i've just realized something this guy on the screen here has got a green berean he must be like a royal marine or something countries in the world some of these stealth aircraft include air superiority fighters such as the f-22 raptor and the f-35 joint strike fighter heavy bombers such as the b2 spirit in fact the united states pioneered this technology in the 1980s with the introduction of the f-117 nighthawk stealth attack aircraft nighthawk it even sounds stealthy doesn't it nighthawk and they said that they were developing that technology in the 80s it just shows how advanced they were guys you know really really are advanced elf aircraft are designed to avoid detection using a variety of technologies that reduce radar reflection from ground sea or air based radar antennas thereby reducing its radar cross-section or rcs this revolutionary technology allows a fifth generation aircraft such as the f-22 raptor with a max takeoff weight of 83 500 pounds to have a radar cross-section of just 0.0001 meters squared hang on a minute i was just about to say that's like insect size a bumble bee you can't i mean just try and put your head around that all right this thing you can't trace this thing all right man i love the states and i'm not just saying that i absolutely love you guys about the size of a bumblebee what's more insane is that the massive b2 bomber also has the same radar cross-section as the f-22 raptor thus it becomes extremely difficult to track stealth aircraft even if the enemy spots them on their radar scopes it's a whole other story to successfully track them and register a missile kill the whole idea behind this technology is to break the chain in which a conventional surface-to-air missile defense system works it's the same reason countries like china and russia are also hard at developing their own stealth fighter the chengdu j-20 and the sukhoi su-57 respectively right so here's the thing the development and they're trying to compete with it do we think that they'll ever get to the point of where they'll be on par or just slightly ahead of america i personally don't think they will i do think they'll get close but then they'll america will release another technology um which that probably has already got developed that's what i personally think let me know in the comments what you think can these guys actually catch up to them these aircraft will allow the us air force to assert its air superiority over any battlefield of the future and we all know that control of these skies is the biggest decider in any war the next reason why any country going to war with the us minister the thing is it is a decider but it has to have other factors in play as well i would argue that air support is extremely effective in war however long-term wars so if we had another world war two that would be won and lost at sea because your country can't reorganize itself with munitions stockpiles food water all of that stuff you know they can't contain all of that indefinitely they'd have to reorganize themselves with supplies from the sea so arguably the the the battle will be won at sea yes aircraft carriers will come in to play with with them with jets and stuff but i don't know that's what i think what do you think the tree should think twice is because of the strength of the us navy and its dominance over the world's ocean especially that's what i just said it's it's the dominance of the ocean that wins it whether we like it or not actually the navy's super carriers the u.s navy currently operates 11 nuclear-powered nimitz-class supercarriers which is the largest aircraft carrier fleet in the world wow the only navy that can come close in terms of great britain the royal navy comes close in terms of technology and some of the ships that they've got but we don't come nowhere near in terms of size all right actual overall size our navy is very small in comparison to what it used to be does it really need to be bigger no because we are effectively you know we're like that with with america we are tight so we don't need to be all right technological advancement is probably the royal navy of the united states i told you guys the royal navy is formidable still to this deer kingdom but they only have two operational carriers the nimitz class of carriers has a displacement of over one hundred thousand tons and can carry a complement of up to seventy aircraft they're literally a floating small town in the ocean with its own airport the nimitz-class carriers in themselves are extremely potent offensive weapons but the way they operate in what is called the carrier strike groups makes these ships even more deadly carrier seldom deploys alone there are always a fleet of surface and underwater assets surrounding them and forming a strike group these include guided missile cruisers a destroyer squadron attack submarines and other support vessels together they project the power of the carrier and at the center of look at that look at this guys that doesn't even seem real look how many ships is there supporting this super carrier you're not going to mess with that all right you're not going to mess with that that's probably bigger than our royal navy right there that task group who's going to call you you can't compete with that man that is insane the amount of boats ships manpower money munitions ferocity it's phenomenal the group forward towards the enemy while the carrier is carrying out its offensive role with the use of its air wing the other ships are responsible to protect its flanks against any enemy attack this combination of offensive and defensive strategy makes the us carry a strike group almost impenetrable the united states navy maintains nine such carrier strike groups eight of which are based in the united states and one that's forward deployed to japan forever right so it's based in the united states but they're not necessarily going to be there all the time i reckon these task groups will go out on deployment globally all right and imagine that imagine seeing one of these things at sea if you're just a random boat or ship going about your business and they see one of these task force groups coming towards you what are you gonna do what are you gonna do you're going to do nothing for 50 years this has been the principal element of u.s power protection and the nimitz class of super carriers are at the center of it all despite this the us is currently in the process of developing a new class of carriers called the gerald r ford class intended to replace the nimitz-class ships this news see that's something as well that is already impressive right would we all agree i think we can let me know in the comments if you don't and the reason why but already they're thinking about innovating their technology and making it better these things don't have to change they're already leading the way in the world but they're trying to innovate and improve already that is the sign of a fantastic military that only just be one step ahead they want to be 10 steps ahead that's what makes them so formidable globally guys respect has to be said super carrier will be even more technologically advanced and is expected to continue us dominance of the oceans well into the late 21st century the third reason why you shouldn't fight the us we're looking at 100 80 years from now there will be dominant still and you could probably put a thousand years on that but the probably is not doing that because you know let's just be easy 80 years worth of dominance it's it can't be matched us military is their massive stockpile of nuclear and conventional intercontinental ballistic missiles or icbms the icbm plays the role of the land leg in the u.s nuclear triad along with the trident submarine launched ballistic missile slbm and nuclear warheads carried on long-range strategic bombers icbms are launched from ground-based missile silos achieving high sub-orbital space flight approximately 1 000 miles above the surface of the earth hang on are these them things that can literally do about 8 000 miles or something so effectively it's like well what's the circumference of the earth i'm sure it's it's less than 8 000 miles it's like 763 miles or something like that or seven thousand and forty three miles yeah um it can basically go do a lap of the globe i mean you can't even hide on planet earth from this thing you'd have to literally be in outer space the body of the missile then separates from the warhead which re-enters the atmosphere and free falls to the assigned target at hypersonic speeds the u.s military currently operates 400 icbms from its base in wyoming montana and north dakota the lgm 30g minuteman 3 is the only type of icbm that is currently operational in the us minuteman 3 family of icbms were first developed in the 1960s as a response to the soviet nuclear threat throughout the cold war and beyond these missiles have undergone constant modernisation in the last decade alone the u.s military has undertaken seven billion dollars worth of upgrades the rocket propulsion engines the propellants used as a guidance system there's a royal marine that is awesome the propellants used the guidance system there he is as a royal marine now he might be acting because we wouldn't wear a berry that high up on the head but that is a as a green beret guys like mine yes get some likes in the chat and even the flight control surfaces have all been refurbished the upgraded missiles are completely different from its 1960s counterparts except for the shell these state-of-the-art improvements and modernization programs have kept the minuteman 3 system operational for over 50 years with improved reliability that supports the missile's remarkable 99 alert rate the latest versions of the missiles have a range of over 8 000 miles which is greater than the diameter of the earth it's 7 917.5 oh what did i say 97 940 right so i'm about 20 miles out guys that's that's that's not too bad right they can carry multiple 330 kiloton nuclear warheads which is 20 times greater than the bombs dropped on hiroshima and nagasaki each of these warheads can be assigned to different targets independently the technology is called multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicle or mirv and was further right i couldn't i couldn't even yeah i don't even understand what you just said then i definitely won't be able to relay back what he said that was a lot of words has developed for the minuteman 3 family of missiles so any country messing with the united states will have to deal with this awesome arsenal of firepower which can be launched at a moment's notice if it weren't the icbms or the stealth fighters raining fire down on you it would be precision guided munitions or better known as smart bombs or people yeah smart bombs guys smart bombs are not just the future they are the present these things i'm pretty sure were utilized by the united states globally and the success rate that you get from them is frightening all right instead of using like normal artillery shells you use these things and you can literally drop them exactly where you want them to go it's not like a guesstimate and give a grid square and hope it hits there it's literally hitting where you wanted to every single time so if you think about you take away you take away that factor of of missing and and wasting money on on all of this bombs and stuff you know you're literally hitting the target once how effective are you going to be in the military very effective and you're going to be a scary person to go up against no one's going to be able to want to to contend with that because they can't pgms instead this is another big reason why not messing with the us military is a good idea all branches of the us military use smart bombs in some forms or the other these weapon systems are designed to be precise and hit a specific target with maximum efficiency these bombs are so effective that during the first gulf war pgms comprised only nine percent of weapons fired but accounted for 75 of all successful hits so that just proves my point what i've just said you don't have to fire them a lot because they hit the target so they might have accounted for a lower number of things that were fired but most of the things that were hit were by them so extremely dangerous guys since then for the us military at least the days of normal artillery shells and unguided bombs are long gone nowadays the military uses pgms from air ground and sea precision guided munitions come in various forms and use different kinds of technologies to achieve precisely the interest of pgms use the global position or gps of satellites to guide their trajectory to target however sometimes this becomes a problem as gps coverage is not always reliably available everywhere across the globe or bad weather conditions can hinder operations thus the office of naval research the naval surface warfare centre and the army research laboratory have all coordinated to develop the first ever artillery fired smart munition that will not use gps guidance while the project is known as moving target artillery round or mtar for short the mtar shell can be guided onto stationary as well as moving targets and and see using a combination of guidance technology the best part is that these shells can be fired from the existing m triple seven a two one hundred and fifty five millimeter towed hoeitzer and the m109a7 paladin integrated management self-propelled 155 millimeter artillery systems already in use by the us military the channels will also increase an extended range of 40 to 60 miles using rocket boosters to propel them once finished it will afford the us military another potent weapon system that outclasses others around the world awesome lastly the fifth and final what's going to be guys my guess is one or two things it's either a technological advancement in um ammunition used in the weapon system so smart rounds or i'm gonna go for drones one of them a reason why you shouldn't fight the us military is drones we're all familiar well we got right 50 50 there went with smart ammunition or drones we're going to go with drones drones are probably going to be the one of the most devastating things to hit warfare in the future that's my guess they'll be devastating you'll get little drawn swarms of them with rounds on them shooting at people that that's what i think will happen in the future i don't know am i crazy let me know in the chat here with what an unmanned aerial vehicle or drone is and what it's supposed to do but in recent years the usability of uavs are steadily increasing to encompass all spheres of military operations and the us military is the pioneering spirit behind it at first used only for surveillance missions drones were quickly weaponized after the 911 attacks and have been extensively used by the us military in the war against terror as an offensive weapon platform it's forecasted that over the next decades the us is in line to purchase over 1 000 combat drones of various classifications some of them like the lockheed martin rq-170 sentinel and the boeing mq-25 stingray are already in the final stages of development and once finished will provide the us military with state-of-the-art platforms capable of multi-role operations ranging from attack missions to aerial refueling well if you want to be a pilot you can't you'd want to be a stingray pilot wouldn't you it just sounds like the best title to have on the cv stingray pilot 10 years you've got the job buddy drone technology has reached such heights today that a single uav can loiter miles above the surface of the earth for hours waiting for the target to show its head and sticking with impunity this capability will allow all the services under the us military to reduce its dependency on manned platforms thereby reducing the risks during future combat operations also these five weapon systems make the us military extremely dangerous for any adversary looking to get into a conflict with them in a conventional warfare setting it's almost impossible to beat the us military machine that i have to agree look i love the british military i'm a british military man okay i served in the royal marines commandos one of the better parts of the british military all right we're an elite unit brigade of men and i have to say guys you know america takes unbeaten sometimes you have to eye up different counterparts of different organizations and be honest and america is one too big too rich too intelligent you know and has too much domination around the planet and there are i think there are cause for good as well when you think globally who would you rather have in power i can't think of anyone else i'd rather have in power and i would rather work alongside the united states of america any day then in most countries there's other countries who would gladly serve alongside but i would love the united states of america to run the shore does that make the sense i think it does guys we've got to be honest that's why modern enemies of the united states are employing more and more asymmetric warfare strategies against the mighty u.s military despite that the u.s military juggernaut is hands down the most powerful military complex in the world today and probably will be for decades to come that's all we have for you today i have to agree with that and the only the only bit i don't agree with is the decades to come bit i think unless we have something serious happen like a collapse in civilization or a massive massive massive catastrophic natural disaster um then i can't envision the united states not being the global superpower of the future almost indefinitely um something very serious would have to happen for that and if if it got serious enough i don't think any of us would be here to kind of see the the benefits of that anywhere does that make sense so fantastic video guys i loved reacting to that one if you did like it please please please show your support and subscribe to my channel and yeah like and share and drop a comment below if you want to support me and i'll get back to you and that's it really troops i really appreciate each and every one of you guys members thanks for supporting the channel i'll see you in the next one troops take it easy bye you
