well hi everybody I'm Don Stewart and it's time for another edition of breaking news today is Monday the 22nd day of April 2024 and as always much is going on in the world today with respect to what the Bible has to say about what our world will look like at the time of the end and the time of the end of course is before God's kingdom comes to Earth and there's a new beginning when that takes place all right much going on tonight Passover begins in Israel and we're going to talk about that a little bit Passover reminds us of the faithfulness of God but also of the warnings that God gave in his word the warnings that we're seeing take place right now in the events in the Middle East it's a terrifying time for Israel with respect to Iran there's a lack of understanding in the Western World of what's going on right now and of course the anti-Semitism as we've been saying is continuing to grow on college campuses in americaas we will document in other words Israel is becoming more and more isolated the ignorance of the western world basically is allowing this to happen and promoting it and uh it's not surprising because this is exactly what the Bible says going to take place it lays it out for so let's look and see what's going on and put it in biblical perspective okay all right Passover begins this evening Les's we forget now we're going to go back in time here and note something that the Lord promised this man Abram who later became Abraham that his descendants would enter a land of promise furthermore they would be his Witnesses to the unbelieving world however before this chosen nation was to enter the promised land the Lord predicted there would be some challenging years ahead in Genesis 1513 through6 here's what the Lord said no for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign country they will be enslaved and oppressed for 400 years but I will execute judgment on the nation that they will serve afterwards they will come out with many possessions uh um and and he went on to say in the fourth generation your descendants will return here this is to the promised land for the sin of the amorites is not yet reached its limit Genesis 1513 to16 now here's what we see in the promises of God to Abraham uh first of all he had settled in the promised land and his descendants would eventually live as strangers there but they'd be enslaved in this another country for some 400 years at the end of the 400 years they're going to leave the land leave the land they're enslaved him and come back to the Promised Land Abraham was also promised in this context that he would not experience this the removal removal from the land he's going to die in peace and lastly they will be removed from the land but they will be brought back because the Lord will be faithful now this is exactly what took place as we know the Passover as the time in Exodus 12 we're told when the death angel came and killed the firstborn of uh all the people in Egypt the ones man and Beast that didn't have the blood on the doorpost and Israel that night was able to leave go on their way to the promised land just as the Lord U predicted also the predictions that we see later and uh in the Old Testament about the Messiah coming the Savior the deliverer and we know he came lived and died for our sins in 1 Corinthians 5:7 Christ Our Passover has been sacrificed for us because it was on Passover the 14th of Nissan where Jesus Christ took upon himself the penalty of the sins of the world so basically what we're saying here as we get into the stories God has been faithful to his promises and we've documented that over and over again the amazing things that are going on everything that's taken place in the past amazingly fulfilled predicted what's going to happen in the future and we're seeing the stage being set right now for all these things and so we know what's coming from the scripture now we've documented this as we've mentioned in never sell anything this is to give you information what the Bible says is taking place and is going to take place at the time of the end which brings us right now as Passover begins to the very very difficult circumstances Israel is facing our second headline and this is uh really fascinating Iran redefines the Power Balance with Israel so we've seen a change now in the Middle East for years Israeli deterrence kept Iran from direct attacks until it faltered on October 7th the October 7th attack by the way what is mentioning when Hamas attacked that was Iran behind that is an Iranian attack on Israeli soil and it emboldened Taran and altering the Strategic balance and so uh this article goes on to say Israel May hesitate now before strike in another Iranian General wary of escalating tensions Iran did not wish for further escalation after the last events of the last three weeks first of all it's the elimination of a general there in Damascus and it and basically this just this one simple elimination this man uh led to an Iranian attack first time since 1991 Israel's been attacked by a Sovereign Nation that was Iraq in 1991 with the scun missiles and then Israel of course responded by hitting U places near their nuclear reactor in the tant in the central area of Iran and right now it looks like a stalemate right now it's nothing's happening big time but that's you know it's the Calm before the storm literally but bottom line what this article says all has changed now because before the what they called it the ring of fire what Iran did it have like Hamas in the South Hezbollah in the north it had Islamic Jihad in Syria uh North we mean Lebanon we have in the West Bank of course Judea and Samaria the problems that are there and then of course who the way down south in Yemen and and basically Israel has been and is surrounded and getting hit on various fronts but Iran has never hit them directly till now and so the worry is what's going to happen in the future well they feel embold to do it again um simply because they've tried it once and Israel's response you know was a warning but it wasn't something that took out their nuclear program or took out anything that would stop them from doing it again so everything's changed now it's a whole different in the Middle East as we're going to this Passover now what's really interesting about this article in the middle of it it says Israel's concerned about Russia's Next Step why is Russia brought in now Russia is not fighting it's not Russian soldiers this is not Ezekiel 3839 but Russia is helping out Iran the system that was there in Iran that was destroyed the air defense system the radar system is something Iran got from Russia Russia is supplying Iran Russia is encouraging ing Iran Russia is standing up for Iran in the world because we know Russia and Iran will work together with Russia leading this charge in the future when Israel is invaded and now again as we've said this is not that Invasion and it's not happening soon in the sense that with you know today or tomorrow we've got Russia with the problems in Ukraine what they're facing but eventually this is going to take place and so in all of that the Israelis are worried because they thought Russia was their friend and they still think they are to to a degree and that's going to be one of the problems that it's going to continue on which will allow a Russian in Le invasion of Israel because Israel will not be expecting it according to Ezekiel 388 and so Russia as we've talked about before is the only nation that talks to everybody in the Middle East that seems to have friendly relations with everybody at least or you know they have to listen to Russia and so right now in all of this you've got Russia hovering over things supplying Iran encouraging them but not being Direct ly involved because the direct involvement is for another time and so Israel according to this article it goes on to say it needs to really get the show on the road get rid of the problem in the South with abas and Rafa uh once that takes place this the assumption is the fighting from Lebanon will stop because Le what's going on with Hezbollah in Lebanon is trying to keep the Israelis distracted from finishing off Hamas and so the idea is if you want to have a calm Middle East you know for us we need to take care of Rafa so that's a whole another question so that's where they're at right now and they're in a very very difficult situation which leans us as we begin this Passover to headline number three where Netanyahu says Hamas has refused all deals we will soon hit them hard all right so here's the promise of prime minister Netanyahu on Passover he made a public statement basically saying Israel's going to increase its pressure on Hamas to lead to the release of the hostages he talks about 133 of our dear brothers and sisters are not sitting at the Passover table now at the Seder table because they're still trapped in hamas's Inferno now like we said yesterday and sadly there are 133 or 134 that are unaccounted for that are there somewhere in Gaza but it's highly possible that the majority of them are already dead we just don't know and that's part of the problem but uh what Netanyahu said on the eve of Passover when people of Israel left slavery we shall remember the heroic fallen in our wounded troops thanks to the sacrifice we are free men the state of Israel is strong the IDF is strong both on defense and offense our enemies have nothing on us and we will defeat them and he salutes the heroic soldiers and you know tries to give the people strength this very very very difficult time for him because the hearts of course of Israel are hurting for the hostages the families of the hostages they're worried about Iran you know repeating what they did just recently and striking Israel we've got the problems in the South the problems in the north uh there's you know missiles still going off all the time from the northern part of the country in Lebanon from Lebanon and Hezbollah and so they they're concerned they're worried as the Bible warns Israel as has they warned the descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob if they turn their back on the Lord which they have done they rejected the Messiah they have a time now where it's going to be a difficult time for for them it has been difficult since the uh destruction of Jerusalem in ad70 predicted by Jesus and the sad thing is it's only going to get worse but here's one of the things that is uh helping this problem grow in the world the isolation of Israel and it's an interesting it was a Blog someone wrote the headline is Hamas is a secret weapon no no one talks about and its Western stupidity and that's exactly right from Beirut jihadis to to tood extremist the erosion of thoughtful discourse has emboldened the world's most dangerous groups and basically what it says since the Advent of social media the world now has undergone an unprecedented time of mass Stupify uh in other words uh people on the left and right are getting Dumber quick more quickly and this is so true they do not really understand what's going on that's why we try and give a background we're going to be doing more of that a background leading up to what's taking place right now in the recent years since Israel became a modern state in 1948 now it the article says this is really interesting for starters it important to note that while Hamas might be utterly Barber the group isn't stupid in fact they've stated publicly uh to with the New York Times they've been exploiting a lack of content moderation on X formerly Twitter Twitter to post graphic and violent videos designed to terrorize the Israelis and the psychological warfare that's there and so what's happened is Israel although they were the ones the victims of the slaughter on October 7th now they've turned into the bad guys and Hamas is the good guys and so you have these useful idiots that are used Now by Hamas uh to basically um make Israel look like the bad guy in this situation that will continue to happen they're intentionally polluting the information space with false or misleading content this is what the article says as we see in the following stories watch and this is you know there's a video anti-israel protesters at Columbia chant Pro Terror slogans death to America Columbia University of New York that anti-israel protesters plac tents an encampment on Columbia University lawn in fact the Jewish students are afraid to go out many of them are told to leave this American University because of the protest by these you know Pro Hamas terrorists there there these these agitators and then of course at Yale now the protesters have actually torn down an American flag and many places we see this we saw Dearborn Michigan recently in the protest death to Israel and death to America this is coming from the United States of America so one of the problems we see is we are aligned with Israel there because of our stance sort of with Joe Biden and taking a stand to help Israel but see the problem is this as far as the world's concerned when they think of America they think of Christianity even though America is so far from it right now or white whiteness and Christianity seem to go hand inand and so as we see in scripture the two people groups that are going to be um again in at the time of the end persecuted are Jews and Christians and as we've mentioned this over and over again isn't it amazing how the Bible predicts that both Jews and Christians will exist at the time of the end can you imagine the impossibility of of of that uh being a reality at the time this was mentioned uh what do you mean Jews and Christians will exist the Jews are hated by the world in ad70 they're removed from their land the city and Temple were destroyed for 19th centuries they're removed you know they're living all in different parts of the world Christianity well they're founder was was crucified he was put to death and um Christianity is going to exist at the time of the end well yes both are true because the Bible is what it claims to be the word of the Living God so what we're seeing right now during this Passover season is literally the Fulfillment of What the Lord Has predicted will take place and is taking place right now so please be of good cheer because we know how all of this is going to end but we also know it's going to be a very very difficult time for Israel pray for these people pray that the gospel will get to them that the answer of course is the person of the Lord Jesus Christ that's what we're all about here on this uh um these videos we do on our breaking news on our website educating our world to bring the word of God to a lost and Dying World the truth of God's word how all of this has been laid out ahead of time just like God told Abram he said this land that you're in your descendants are going to inherit it but first there's going to be 400 years in another land where there be slaves but they will come out and they'll come out with great wealth that's exactly what happened and as they were about to enter the promised land they were warned if youy blessings will happen but if you disobey you will be removed from the land and as we've seen that's happened twice they're coming they come back again from the second Exile but the most difficult time is still ahead and the most wonderful F time is still ahead as the Bible predicts so we're seeing this up come to pass right now in front of our very eyes all these things so take heart and as we think of the Passover season reminder let's be reminded of the faithfulness of God he was faithful to Abraham and the promises he was faithful to send his son Jesus Christ who died on the Passover he's our Passover died for our sins so all this is setting the stage or what the Lord has in the future so it's an exciting time to be alive and we're here every day to tell you what's going on and how it's fitting so right now uh pray for the people of Israel as Passover begins they're very worried about other attacks um from different sources around the world and we'll let you know if something does happen we'll break in and do further breaking news stories simply because we're keeping track of what's going on as it fits perfectly
