he gets back to his senses and stops feeling guilty and Confused the next morning shui realizes his phone is gone at school he gets a whiff of a familiar scent the girl he rescued from the burning person pulls a knife out and points it at her acting quickly shui transforms and restrains the person flare takes off the person 's mask revealing her to be a girl called hiawa suddenly hikawa transforms her arms and legs revealing herself to be a kind of monster to she easily breaks free from shu's grasp and kicks him into a wall recently hiala found a star coin under an overpass sometime later she heard that near a shutdown Hotel there's a mysterious vending machine that doesn't accept regular money she has been training for the national running tournament but she couldn't qualify no matter how hard she worked frustrated she found the weird vending machine and put the star coin in then a mysterious boy appeared seemingly out of thin air he thanked her for finding one of his precious coins the next day hiawa could suddenly run faster than ever and she easily outran everyone else however after the race her arms and legs transformed grotesquely making her Panic desperate she started looking for more coins under the overpass but couldn't find any that's when she saw CLA showing shui the coin she found she followed them to cla's apartment in the present hiawa tells shui and CLA she's going to have to kill them now that they've seen her face face suddenly CLA sprays pepper spray in her face and tells shii to beat her up however shii doesn't listen to her he grabs CLA and jumps out the window the two hide somewhere until it gets dark since iawa now knows where she lives CLA wants to fight her she notices a zipper on the back of shu's monster form and thinks it might unleash a great power shuichi gets curious too when she opens it however the inside is completely empty realizing he's empty and Powerless shuichi gets depressed but CLA has an idea in order to fill his emptiness she enters his body through the zipper shuichi gets embarrassed but lets her in once she's inside she seems to fit perfectly shuichi feels hatred and sadness inside her heart something horrible happened to her but shuichi doesn't know what exactly flare also feels shu's anger and anxiety but also his inner strength she decides to use his strength and he lets her aawa then finally shows up but shui and Clare don't run away this time while CLA is moving shu's body he's channeling her strength into her they attack but aawa still seems stronger and whales on them like there's no tomorrow she witch's monster manages to get a few hits in but aa's power is overwhelming however the tid start to turn once CLA figures out how to control the monster she skillfully overpowers aawa and beats her senseless in the end she grabs her leg and threatens to snap it if she doesn't explain how to use the Star Coins aawa refuses and Clare really breaks her leg shui is horrified but he has no way of stopping CLA Clare then takes out the cartoonishly large gun that's part of shu's monster form and points it to aaa's heart aawa wants to keep running and isn't ready to die but CLA mercilessly pulls the trigger and kills her Clare doesn't seem to think much of killing another person but shuichi feels like he's in a nightmare for the next week shu's life continues normally one day Clare approaches him again she really enjoyed the feeling of power she had while controlling his monster form and the intensity of their fight against haawa however shui is upset and tells her he doesn't want anything to do with her anymore flare tells him he's powerless if she isn't piloting him him and there have to be more monsters that might attack him shui understands but that doesn't make it any easier for him CLA then understands how terrified sht he is of transforming and how much he struggled to save her from the fire a week before realizing that he's actually strong she promises him that even if the monsters kill him she will die with him he asks her if she'd die if he decided to die right now she doesn't answer but simply climbs up on a high platform she throws herself off it and invites him to die with her shocked shui catches her and his arms reveals that she's looking for her older sister who became a monster and abandoned her after killing their parents that happened 6 years ago half a year earlier a black-haired girl with an accessory looking exactly like shu's monster form meets with the strange boy who's looking for Star Coins it turns out that the girl wished for shui to become a monster we find out that the mysterious boy came from another planet to find the star coins he lost there in the present shui and Clare designed to spend the day trying to figure out what they're capable of doing together shui is confused as to why CLA is taking off her clothes and she tells him it's really hot inside him he's too embarrassed to let her go inside him completely naked so he makes her wear a onepiece swimsuit after that has been settled Clare enters shu's body and takes control of him experimenting they find out that shuichi can move the monster's body too while CLA is inside of him but she can stop him and take over whenever after that they feel like they're ready to start looking for cla's sister Alina using his exceptional sense of smell shui smells Alina's clothes the two are shocked when they smell the blood of countless people on them while they're eating lunch Claire is impressed that shuichi still wants to help her find Alina even though she felt his fear once he smelled all that blood for the next 3 days shui and CLA stake out a train station waiting for Alina to pass by Clare thinks her sister is still in town in the end they don't pick up a scent and CLA suggests they should try looking for her at the mall shui remembers that there's a movie playing he'd like to see and Claire tells him they should go see it even though she's been through all kinds of Horrors in real life she tells him she won't watch watch a scary movie at that moment shui picks up the scent they're looking for and transforms looking out star coin in the first place CLA lies about losing it and Alina gives her another one telling her to find the strange vending machine near the abandoned Hotel she then gets a call and excuses herself telling CLA she has something to do and leaving her to lie on the ground after Alina leaves CLA slowly picks up the gun thinking shuichi is dead she points it at her head intending to keep her promise to him before she does it shu's head tells her he's alive crying tears of happiness Clare hugs the head relieved the two immediately run to the abandoned Hotel there they meet the alien boy who's freaked out because CLA is carrying a head feeling like he can trust the strange boy shui lets him examine his head the alien tells CLA he can fix shui but in exchange for a star coin player doesn't completely believe him but ends up giving him the coin anyway the alien inserts the coin into the vending machine and a small bottle comes out listening to the alien boy's instructions shuichi drinks the contents of the bottle and holds his head in place on his body shii then lets Clare out the alien reveals that he's not from Earth and he's inside a fake body even though he's an alien he's still in a human male's body so when he sees CLA only in her underwear he asks her if he can touch her chest creeped out Clare kicks him in the balls the alien then reveals that he secretly took a strand of cla's hair asking her if she ever thought she'd like to turn into someone else he puts the hair into his mouth and swallows it then he turns into an exact copy of CLA he tells her he can change her in interesting and exciting ways just like he changed shui he claims that the medicine that comes from the vending machine changes the body as its owner desires which means that shui took on the form he thought was ideal for him shuichi tells him he never wanted to turn into a monster and doesn't even remember drinking any medicine but the alien ignores him after a little while the alien tells shui it should be all right for him to change back into a human shui does that and feels completely fine seeing he's all right Clare hugs him relieved the alien then reveals what the star coins really are he and his alien friends who have compressed their minds and knowledge into Data were on their way home one day however their spaceship broke down and crashed on Earth scattering the alien's friends in coin form all over the alien doesn't know how to repair the ship or find his friends so he recruits humans to search for them in exchange for medicine that lets them transform if they collect 100 coins they'll be able to do even more amazing things remembering what happened to aawa CLA tells the alien she'll think about it and leaves with shui while they're walking shui tells her she shouldn't ever use her remaining coin since it's dangerous with a smile on her face Claire tells him he has nothing to worry about after her parents were killed she felt like there was no place for her in the world but everything changed when she met shui now she thinks life has become fun and she's never never been so excited hearing her shui realizes he's nothing like her the next day shuichi goes to school normally a group of bullies pick on him but he easily fends them off giving them a look full of blood lust his classmates noticed that he changed and started acting more like an adult on the roof a classmate called Nana approaches him she talks to him normally but he gets intense and interrupts her he asks her what she would do if there was someone who didn't care about other people and had the ability to destroy the entire planet Nana is confused but tells him she'd be worried about her parents and Friends she'd try her best to stop the bad guy and protect her loved ones cheering up a bit shui tells her he needed to hear someone say that and leaves soon shui and Clare go out to try and find the place where the alien spaceship crashed somewhere else in the mountains a girl with glasses is also looking for Star Coins suddenly she's approached by a creepy looking man menacingly he transforms into a gorilla-like monster and threatens the girl to help him find the coins or Die the girl also transforms but the gorilla man kills her meanwhile Clare and shui go deeper into the mountains flare wants to find out where the best location for Gathering coins is and who the strongest monsters are she expects that every person they meet deep in the mountains would have to be a monster she's excited about the whole situation but shui is scared and nervous at that moment shuichi smells a monster in the distance even though he's reluctant Clare convinces him to transform and approach the monster who turns out to be a huge scary guy with blades for hands shiii is terrified but the monster seems calm at first it seems like he's harmless but then he reveals that he came to the mountains to prove his strength he tried fighting regular people in his monster form but they were all easily beaten so he came to the mountains in search for Monster opponents even though CLA is the one talking and the monster thinks she's aone girl he still has to fight everyone he sees getting angry shuichi tries punching the monster but he blocks the attack easily Taking Over Control Clare continues the fight she manages to land a powerful punch in the monster's side but the guy doesn't even Flinch he's way stronger than aawa and CLA realizes he's trouble stopping she tries reasoning with the skull guy and tells him she just wants to share information with him but he doesn't trust her acting quickly she pulls her gun out and shoots at him he manages to block the bullet with his blade arm but it still does damage to him impressed by her gun's power the monster transforms into a tough-looking guy who introduces himself as tatori and University student Claire is confused but he tells her he revealed his human form as thanks for her fighting ser seriously against him then he takes a strange stance and transforms back into a monster tatori explains that he trained different martial arts but all of them were designed to be used against humans that's why he came up with his own martial art that's for fighting monsters tightening his muscles he swings his blade arms and smashes them into the ground with Incredible Force luckily shui and Clare managed to get away and tatori can't find them suddenly shui reveals himself and tightly grabs his opponent tatori knows he's much stronger than shui but then CLA appears behind him with shit's gun remembering how powerful that gun is tatori transforms back into his human form and admits his defeat he wants them to kill him but shui and Clare refuse suddenly a green grotesque goblin-like monster who calls himself pseudo shows himself and reveals he took photos of them in their human forms he threatens to reveal their identities to everyone if they don't become his slaves getting pissed off tanori transforms happy he's getting a chance to fight another monster he quickly and easily kills the green guy after after that CLA is relieved realizing that not all monsters are as strong as tatori now that tatori respects Clare and shui the three unlikely allies decide to look for Star Coins together taking the green guy's phone Claire finds photos of other coin gatherers on it later that day she calls iachi one of the people pseudo was blackmailing she shows him a photo of pseudo cut in half telling him she has killed him she asks him if she could join his group and they make an appointment to meet up flare wants to join that group so she can use its members to find Alina and her allies more easily a few days later shui and Claire meet up with a group of coin gatherers they're surprised when their leader a woman wearing a hockey mask called seaka asks them to reveal their human forms as a requirement to make a special pact and join them after quickly Consulting each other they decide to reveal Clare but not shui Clare even admits she's a normal human while shui is a monster she decides to make the Packa first and then have shui make it two after she confirms it safe the woman in a hockey mask accepts this and takes her somewhere the two even seem to get get along well meanwhile a girl wearing a motorcycle helmet called Chihiro asks shui if she can pet him in another room the woman in a hockey mask reveals she has a power that can make people keep secrets at the same time shui lets the girl pet him and doesn't know how to react however everyone else is now convinced that he's harmless we find out that among them iuchi is the guy with a camera for a head and he's really nervous Shahira reveals that she has the power to understand the feelings of animals in the other room seaka also reveals that everyone in her group will die if they reveal any of the group's Secrets seeing that seaka already doesn't trust her Claire decides to come clean to her she shows seaka a photo of Alina and tells her she's looking for her sister surprisingly seaka knows alinaa but she'll tell her more only if she joins their group when Claire decides to join seaka suddenly straddles her seaka reveals that she was in a relationship with her female teacher once she loved her very much but the teacher had a strong moral compass so she left her because she was feeling guilty seaka said that to her friend trusting her not to reveal her secret to anyone but her friends spread the story around this led to the teacher ending her life after that seaka developed worried for chihiro's safety he wants to go look for her wallet alone but she wants to come with him she suggests she gets inside him where she'll be safe shii is reluctant but Chihiro takes off her clothes unders the zipper on his back and enters his body nearby iuchi watches and Records all this getting angrier and more Jealous by the second he seems to be in love with Chihiro so he hates seeing her enter shu's body shui accepts his fate but Chihiro isn't good at controlling him at all he remembers how easy it was for CLA meanwhile seaka is still touching CLA scared that seak is going to go a step further CLA tells her they don't know each other well enough to do something like that understanding seaka stops and tells her she'll begin the ceremony to make her a part of her group she gives cla a thin black choker made from her hair and tells her to put it on it's going to turn invisible once she puts it on and if she reveals Sea's group's secrets to anyone it will cut her head off once again confirming that seaka has information about her sister CLA cautiously lets her put on the choker meanwhile shui is embarrassed when he realizes that chiro is naked inside him huchi continues following them getting matter by the minute in The Hideout seaka reveals that Alina was her classmate her teacher suicide made seaka distance herself from others but Alina made an effort to befriend her seaka came to trust Alina and she doesn't believe that she would ever do something as cruel as killing someone meanwhile in the forest a blonde boy called Subaru finds chihiro's wallet surprisingly he's together with Alina and a hooded guy called Neato somewhere else in the forest shuichi picks up the scent of chihiro's wallet but also Al Elina and her companions Chihiro is terrified of strong gatherers but shuichi doesn't want to let her wallet go even though he knows Elena's group is way stronger than him in The Hideout iachi shows cla a video of shuichi going outside with Chihiro he even recorded Chihiro entering shu's body shii has been away for an hour and there's a chance he's been killed but Clare still wants to look for him admiring cla's Devotion to his friend seaka sends a regularl looking guy called yoda to go with her apparently he's the only one in their group who has an offensive ability in the forest shuichi remembers all the times he ran away from his enemies and decides to face the danger directly this time suddenly Subaru appears behind shui shui is surprised and calls him a kid which makes Subaru annoyed Subaru manifests a massive two-headed monster that grabs shuichi and starts squeezing him in its giant hands after a few seconds Subaru leaves shui and Chihiro inside him crushed into a bloody mess meanwhile Yoda tries Rising CLA while they're looking for shuichi but she just calls him a creep and tells him to die Yoda is the only one in Sea's group who isn't hiding his face and he claims there's no reason for him to since he has no family while shui is lying on the ground he's frustrated by his weakness he gets up looking severely mangled somehow he merges with Chihiro completely and becomes a grotesque looking girl who lets out a bizarre scream not too far away Elina hears it and decides to check up on Subaru Subaru attacks with his monster again but the fusion between shuichi and Chihiro is much faster and stronger than before however they still can't get to Subaru's real body because the monster is protecting him both of them forget who they even are they only focus on defeating Subaru and protecting each other Subaru's monster throws them aside but they keep attacking finally they climb the monster's hands and break its fingers exposing Subaru's real body taking out two guns from somewhere they Point them at Subaru prepared to kill him before they can do that oina appears and stops them seeing Alina shui gets even angrier inside him shiiro realizes she can see shu's memories she sees him drinking one of the starcoin medicine bottles together with Alina in the present shui points his guns at Alina but Chihiro stops him and he collapses to the floor having no other choice he watches Alina and Subaru leave we find out that shuichi drank the medicine before Alina did she also drank it because she wanted to be with him in the present Clare finds shuichi and wakes him up both he and Chihiro are completely fine they all go back to Sea's Hideout together where shui accepts one of her hair chokers shui and Chihiro don't remember for anything that happened after Subaru crushed them aachi accuses shui of putting Chihiro in danger but Yoda stands up for him Ben the biggest monster among them turns into a timid guy who introduces himself as isau his power is growing plants and changing Earth however he wants to isau tells shuichi he lives near the cram school he used to go to when he was little Isa saw him playing with his friends in the past but shuichi remembers being the only student at the cram school finally there's aara a girl who can turn herself invisible when she shows herself CLA and shuichi recognize her as the girl working at the convenience store now that they all know each other Clare decides to show everyone what she and shuichi can do the others are impressed jealous of Chihiro entering shui CLA tells her that she's the only one who can make shui fight however Chihiro knows better and tells her that she could never become one with shuichi when they're so different that night things are awkward between shuichi and Claire later shuichi can't fall asleep so he takes a walk he comes across his classmate a bukawa he saw a car run over a cat so he decided to bury it seeing the cat shui notices it's missing a leg for some reason the next day Elina gets a call from Jiro who tells her she knows shui Belina goes outside to talk so the others don't hear her it turns out that Chihiro didn't actually forget the fight against Subaru Belina tells her that shuichi has a special power that allows him to merge with someone and achieve anything as long as the two have the same goal even though shu's memories are extremely fragmented and barely readable jahiro could deduce that Alina has been erased from all of them while she was merged with him having seen those memories she doesn't think Alina is a bad person apparently Alina is extremely important to shui and nobody could take her place shihiro wants Alina to help her prevent a bad person from Gathering 100 coins but Alina tells her that someone has already done that suddenly elina's call is interrupted by Subaru Neato and another person she won't tell them who she's talking to saying it's private and her group is suspicious of her the next day shui and Claire meet up with Sea's group again apparently the group group has only gathered five coins since they joined up 2 months ago however seaka noticed a pattern in the places where they found the coins she thinks she now knows where the aliens crash landed and where there would be the most coins Sea's real goal is finding 100 coins and ending the Gathering game once and for all exploring the Forest sayaka's Group finds a skull spray painted on a rock and concludes it's the mark of someone else's territory ahead there seems to be a powerful group of gatherers since Sea's group aren't the best fighters but they still want to find the spaceship seaka decides they should go the long way around the mountain to explore with aachi as their Scout the group advances helping each other along the way while they're taking a break Claire notices they're all pretty Carefree but shuichi thinks it's good for a team to relax together sometimes however Chihiro isn't relaxed at all she tries telling everyone that someone has already gathered 100 coins but seaka interrupts her telling everyone their break is over before they continue their Journey CLA stops them she realizes that the skull Mark they saw might actually represent a warning to the the weaker gatherers to avoid it at that moment iuchi notices a large group of powerfull looking gatherers looking at them from the top of a mountain Sea's group starts running away and the gatherers see them their boss a creep with an afro called Moka wants to take a hostage to make the others from Sea's group help him gather coins he sends a guy who transforms into a freaky centipede monster after them and he easily catches up to shui and the others shui with CLA already inside him attacks the monster but the centipede guy turns out to be pretty strong and slams him into a tree the centipede then grabs seaka and tells the others to stop torturing her he tells them they have to join his group or they'll all be killed sayaka's group is terrified and shui is also afraid to keep attacking however Yoda seems confident and transforms his appearance barely changes he just gets black markings on his arms and chest but everyone can see that his power has gone up significantly Yoda jumps into the air easily breaks the centipede guy's arms and frees seaka from his grasp in the end he punches the centipede guy in the face breaking his jaw off and making him collapse to the ground Sea's group is on the run but one of moka's men has x-ray vision and finds them easily before Moka and the others go after them most people in the group want to kill the centipede Guy saying they never liked him however Moka doesn't agree he pulls out one of his own teeth telling the centipede guy he shares his pain and won't ever abandon him further ahead Isel grows a huge tree as a barricade against their enemies just a minute later a gigantic gorilla monster appears and breaks the barricade down easily it turns out to be Moka he prepares to beat us out to death with a tree but Yoda stops him jumping into the air and punching him in the face however the punch doesn't seem to do anything to him and the gorilla easily pushes him away with another tree seeing CLA enter shu's body the gorilla gets interested in them grabbing shu's head he wants to get CLA out of him while he's doing that shui takes out his gun and shoots Moka with it Point Blank surprisingly it doesn't work at all Madoka then grabs the gun intending to shoot Chihiro but shuichi UND do his transformation which makes the gun melt then the rest of moka's group arrives looking scary and sadistic with isau and Yoda unconscious or dead Sea's group doesn't seem to stand a chance Moka then transforms back into a human and tells them they're going to gather coins for him from now on once his team gathers 100 coins for him he'll fulfill all their wishes he tells Sea's group that he'll do the same for them if they join him he thinks the world is complicated so idiots always lose out that's why he wants to make idiots like his friends happy since Yoda killed one of his men he wants sayaka's group to choose someone among them for Moka to kill or he'll kill them all he gives them some time to decide and leaves luckily Yoda and Nissa are still alive iuchi freaks out telling him their enemies are way too strong for them to fight surprisingly Clare agrees and tells them they will have to sacrifice someone however it turns out that she said that only to make iachi realize he's being Reckless and wouldn't be prepared to sacrifice himself hearing all that iuchi gets paranoid when he realizes he he's the best candidate to be sacrificed since he's the most useless and least friendly meanwhile Moka feels like he's never had so much fun in his life before he him at the same time Clare finds ISO crying alone he thinks he's useless but Clare gives him a plant and tells him he should grow it to save everyone he seems scared and reluctant but in the end he grows an entire Garden of pink flowers aachi who is watching them knows that the flowers are dangerous and hurries to warn Chihiro shii arrives and thinks there's something ominous about the flowers but he trusts CLA she doesn't want him to get involved but shuichi tells her he'll share the burden of her crimes hugging her tightly he tells her the two of them are one soon moka's group realizes that sayaka's group is gone and they run after them aachi finds them and begs Moka to let him and Chihiro join them he tells them that Sea's group has set the mountain on fire running away from the fire Isa tells the rest of Sea's group that Clare made him plant a lot of Oleander Oleander is found everywhere but its leaves and flowers are poisonous as is the smoke from burning it aachi tries to tell Moka exactly what Claire did but sayaka's choker chokes him to death since he can't reveal a secret that Sea's group is keeping getting angry Moka transforms and decides to kill the entire group while Sea's group is running away shuichi and Clare join them they pick up ahara and Chihiro who are the slowest among them and help them get away mean while Moka notices that his friends are starting to sweat and feel sick even Moka starts feeling weak and then realizes that the burning flowers are poisonous forgetting about Sea's group Madoka does his best to save his friends it turns out that Clare counted on him to do that which is why they were able to escape she realizes that Alina gave her a star coin because she couldn't bear the weight of her sins anymore she thinks she has to save Alina that night Alina visits the alien at his vending machine the alien is really excited about everyone fighting so uniquely for their wishes but alinaa gets mad at him she threatens to kill him and end his game but the alien tells her there's no way to stop the things that have already happened frustrated she stops and starts crying the next day seaka tells everyone that they should stop exploring the mountains because it's too dangerous but CLA disagrees Madoka and his thugs have seen their faces and there's no guarantee the Oleander poison killed them all seaka realizes she's right but tells everyone that they should go home for now afterwards seaka talks to aara alone she feels like it's her fault for every that happened she wanted to prove that humans live by their ideals and won't give into their urges but she failed in the end her friends got hurt because of her ideals however ahara thinks that her Devotion to her ideals is a beautiful thing and she will always trust her somewhere else isau feels guilty too he didn't want to kill anyone but Yoda tells him he had to do it to protect them both of them think it's weird for shui and Clare to be so calm after killing someone on their way home shuichi admits to Clare that he wishes everyone in moka's group was dead he feels like like he's messed up with tears in her eyes Clare hugs him and apologizes for getting him wrapped up in all this however shui thinks he must have chosen to get involved even though he doesn't remember it he thinks he's supposed to get stronger in fight the next day shui and Clare go to school as always there they see Chihiro and realize she goes to the same school as them one day shuichi hears about a burned body that was found in the next town over some people think it could be a bukawa since he hasn't been coming to school for a while shii realizes that a bukawa must have been part of moka's group and died in the forest fire after school shuichi visits the alien to ask him why he chose the costume as his power but the alien won't tell him he offers him to forget about the coin Gathering and spend a star coin to turn back to normal but shuichi doesn't want that remembering sayaka's words he's determined to end the game and restore everyone's regular lives the alien tells him he's satisfied as long as he gets his companions back while he's returning home shuichi stops by a junkyard he reveals he's aware that someone's following him his Pursuit SE turns out to be moka's right-hand man a guy with a bandana around his head he doesn't care about collecting coins anymore he just wants to avenge Moka and his friends who all died he doesn't think shuichi can fight without someone inside of him so he threatens him to reveal where CLA is he considers her the person who actually killed his friends the man then attacks shuichi with his sword but shui easily Dodges every single one of his slashes after a brief struggle shuichi overpowers him and asks him why abukawa would join moka's group of criminals he thought abukawa was kind but the bandana guy tells he didn't know him abuk kawa's real friends were Moka and his thugs in the end shui shoots the man with his gun determined to protect CLA meanwhile the alien remembers the time he came to Earth a girl called hanoka was the first to find him since they live forever the aliens have stopped evolving and caring about death which is why this particular alien finds them boring since the alien doesn't want to look for his friends himself hanoka suggests he should find people to do it for him she tells him he should make a vending machine that grants people a wish if they put a star coin in it of course the alien thought that was a great idea after that hanoka introduced the alien to her friends who turned out to be Alina shuichi Na and two other people meanwhile a group of gatherers find the spaceship crash site but someone is already there the mystery guy summons a completely white ghostly woman who immediately kills everyone with a sword we find out that the woman is actually hanoka and the guy controlling her is one of Alina's friends called kaido later Alina's group finds out that kaido has gathered GED 100 coins he wished for something became incredibly powerful and now he's protecting the coins around the crash site a few months earlier back when everything was still normal Neato noticed that his girlfriend AKO was acting strange Elina and her friends had all met each other in yamat CR school which wasn't a cram school as much as a place where working parents could leave their kids shii thina Neato kaido hanoka and AKO had a lot of fun hanging out together back then kaido Neato and AKO hadn't seen shuichi and Lina for a while so kaido decided to get everyone together again when they got together only hanoka didn't show up kaido had no idea about this but Neato and the others explained that her dad had gotten into trouble and had been arrested for killing someone after that hanoka had disappeared kaido is shocked but Akiko thinks they should all forget about hanoka since it seems to her that she doesn't want them to look for her however kaido couldn't forget about her so easily he started investigating her disappearance and found out that she was taken in by some relatives in a nearby town when he visited her new address her relative told him she disappeared from there too soon kaido realized that the last time he had seen her Eko twirled her hair in the exact same manner as hanoka always would the following day he decided to secretly follow aeko he lost her Trail but found the alien instead he called Neato shui and Nina to join him the alien reveals that hanuka's wish was to erase herself and become someone else hanoko was in love with Neato and she was never accepted by her relatives while AO was neato's girlfriend and had a normal family that's why she decided to turn into AO kaido thinks hanoka should pay for her crimes but nobody else believes she would do something like that surprisingly everyone except kaido was fine with hanoka becoming Aiko the next day kaido followed AO again he showed himself when she visited Yamada CR school which had been abandoned at that point kaido asked AO if she could go back to who she used to be but she told him it's impossible because she had already buried hanuka's body suddenly kaido took a rope and strangled AO from behind sometime later Neato told kaido that the real Aiko ended her life it turns out that AO had been severely bullied at school and hanoka who was her best friend was the only person she contacted before she hanged herself since hanoka was the only one who knew she died she quickly asked the alien to turn her into AO AO was loved by everyone and hanoka didn't want them all to be sad so she wanted to replace her she thought she wouldn't be missed but AO would later everyone except kaido somehow realized that aeko was dead and they even thought it was fine if hanoka replaced her it turns out that kaido was the only one who cared about hanoka and he ended up killing her realizing that he lost his mind and went to the alien with a starcoin he thought everyone should disappear and he ended up disappearing too after a while a rumor about a strange ghost started going around people would see a glowing girl stand in their way and asks them who she was if they couldn't tell her what she was called she would erase them she thought he was responsible for Kido disappearing and told the others he'll use a coin to stop him if he was planning something in the present CLA visits the Young mam school which is still abandoned mysteriously she finds a doll that looks exactly like shit's monster form sometime later a girl encounters ghost Hoka on her way home the ghost looks like aeko for a second and the girl recognizes her but Alina appears and stops her from saying ao's name Alina tells the girl that the entity's name is hanoka she explains that Aiko died and her bonds LED hanoka back to the girl however Alina still can't save the girl for some reason and she is erased by ghost hanoka sometime later shui and CLA meet up with Chihiro and Yoda shii wants them to give him all the coins they've gathered so far and return to their normal lives because he and Claire are going to end the game all by themselves while they're going back home together shuichi tells CLA they should go back into the mountains the next morning and finish everything before that Clare wants to come to his house and watch a movie with him when she tells him this could be the last time they'll be able to relax together he hugs her and agrees CLA realizes that shui changed because of her but still thinks they won't be able to become one as they are now entering sh's house Claire notices it's messy full of dust and cobwebs she remembers the doll she saw in the cram school and thinks there's something about shui that isn't normal Claire is disturbed because shui doesn't seem to notice the mess in his house he claims his parents normally come home every night but she doesn't think that's true she asks him when he last saw his parents and he can't remember CLA thinks that it's Alina's fault he can't remember and that she might even have killed his parents suddenly shuichi remembers a familiar scent from the past which seems to be connected to Vina he pushes PES CLA down and rips her shirt off but quickly gets back to his senses suddenly she witch's phone rings seaka calls to tell them she has released them from her packed she wants to meet her tomorrow evening because she wants to give them her group Star Coins it turns out that Chihiro convinced everyone that they should all including shui give their coins to Alina who will end the game as quickly as possible the next day Claire notices that shui has been acting strangely ever since last night but he doesn't understand why either he managed to remember a time when Alina was at his house house seemingly trying to protect him meanwhile Elina is talking to Neato looking at a dark cloud hanging over a part of the forest we find out that Alina erased shu's memories to protect him from Ghost hanoka hanoka H kaido turned into some kind of ghost targets everyone aeko was close to an erases them if they don't remember who hanoka for some reason they think that if ghost hanoka becomes aware of shui again the world will end at the same time shui and Clare split up to try and find Chihiro Clare notices ahara spying on her and kicks her into to the pool meanwhile Isa and Yoda approach shuichi and Isa tells him they're not giving him their coins however Yoda tells shuichi to meet shiiro at the riverbank shii tells that to Clare who hurries to the riverbank too at the riverbank Chihiro gives Elina all the coins suddenly shii appears and sees them he tells Alina he remembered a tiny fragment of his past and wants to know more but Alina refuses to tell him play Then arrives and shows them the doll that looks just like shu's monster the moment he sees it shuichi remembers everything at the same time hanuka's ghost disappears somewhere Delina tries erasing his memories again but shui doesn't let her he has Clare enter his body and the two start fighting Alina while they're grappling Alina tells them she did all those horrible things because she wanted to protect him back when ghost hanoka tried to attack shuichi Alina was with him ghost hanoka had already erased shu's parents and Alina quickly erased shu's memories so he would be spared and be able to live a normal life in the present realizing that they've both filled the emptiness in their hearts shuichi and Clare Tru truly become one for the first time powered up they move faster than ever and they're much stronger than before Elina is still powerful but shui and CLA are just as strong suddenly ghost hanoka appears and asks shui who she is shui starts saying hanoka but Alina stops him because it's actually acho reacting quickly shuichi shoots ghost hanoka but a lot more of them appear shui keeps shooting them but they keep coming then Elina appears and makes shuichi forget everything about his past once again F hanoka disappears saying she's not interested in Monsters shuichi tells Elina he'll gather 100 coins and the game and bear all of her sins Elina tells him she's going to gather the coins before him and leaves sometime later shui and Clare meet up with tatori and the three go look for the spaceship crash site
