so this is the Bose mode speaker 500 and this is a speaker that plays nice with both iPhone and Android because it has both AirPlay 2 supports and it also has Chromecast support you can also use it as a smart speaker because it has both Alexa and Google Assistant support now sound quality wise the speaker has two woofers that shoot out the sides and the speakers should have no problem filling a small to larger room with sound however this speaker does lean towards a brighter sound signature so at those power volumes this speaker can sound a little nasally but if you were to use this speaker at medium volumes it actually sounds really good and it also has a surprising amount to bass all on its own now you can use the speaker as a wi-fi speaker because it has both AirPlay 2 and Chromecast supports or you can also use a Bluetooth connection with the speaker or you can also use a wired connection with the speaker because it has a built-in 3.5 millimeter audio jack a feature that's becoming more and more rare these days
