Comparing Bora Bora's TOP Resorts (Watch Before Booking!)

[Music] foreign to a great flight to Tahiti and we're off to Bora Bora we've got a late night departure about six hours six and a half hours left of the flight and then when we wake up we're gonna be landing in Paradise so without further Ado I'm gonna get some rest for the evening and I'll see you in the morning [Music] all right we've just landed here in Tahiti the main island of French Polynesia we flew on the International Airline Air Tahiti Nui business class and now we're about to catch the domestic flight with Air Tahiti onwards to our final destination of Bora Bora just one more flight to go till we get to Bora Bora [Music] we finally made it to Bora Bora we've got the views of Mount otumanu right there this is going to be a super exciting adventure for the next two weeks or so [Music] all right finally made it over to our King Beach villa here at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui they've got these really cool wristband key card entrance things let's check it out entering the Villa here looks like we've got a seating area by the side and then here is the king-size bed big rectangular shaped Villa and over here oh my God look at these views so you can step outside through these sliding glass doors and here we've got a sitting area day beds private pool not a huge fan of how you can still see some of the other Villas but it does have a beachfront it is a Beach villa after all let's take a look right here we can step right down right down to the beach looks like we've got a hammock and another day bed over there as well but yeah not too much privacy with the walkway and the other over water Villas right on that side taking a look here at the mini bar looks like you've got Nespresso tea Waters that are complementary and then some Laker selection that's obviously part of the mini bar that's going to be chargeable but over there they did give us a little bottle of wine too so that's a nice amenity for Hilton Diamond members let's take a look nice glass of red Bordeaux and then one last part of the room that we haven't looked at it's the bathroom of course so let's take a look really loving this bathroom design so many mirrors look at this kind of this Infinity tunnel mirror and then check out this oversized bathtub too it's like an entire circular soup bowl that we can take a bath in obviously this side you've got the toilet chamber and then over here rainfall shower situation going on this is a really cool feature check this out you've got this remote control press it right here and the TV actually comes out of its little holder so you can watch it from the comfort of your bed so here's the boat over here that's going to bring us over to the main island and it's quite nice that it's a complimentary service during the day so you're not just restricted to the Conrad you can actually go explore the rest of Bora Bora what happened to your knee does it hurt no oh [Music] how was the hike another way down we're going down that way you excited for our snacks yes yes our haul look at the size of this cucumber [Applause] [Music] what have we got here get some red velvet croissants look at that it's amazing like most Resorts around here the Conrad Bora Bora gives you these bikes that you can ride around get around pretty easily today's our second last day here at this Resort tomorrow we're going to the Saint Regis so today's probably going to be more of a chill day at the resort hanging out by the pool maybe some water activities getting some work done but it's been really enjoyable so far okay we're back here at vitape for a little while because we're off to the Saint Regis but actually there's a few ways you can get between the Conrad and the Saint Regis one is to take the boat to the airport and then the saint regis's boat takes you over to the resort you can also take a private boat but the most economical option is actually to come through vitape take a taxi and then the Saint Regis gets a boat and brings you over to the resort and we've got some time between checkout and check-in a little bit of a sense of adventure nice to be back here on the main island okay just about arrived at the St Regis now checking in to our Beachside Villa let's see what this is all about coming through here this feels really spacious master bedroom wow I love this canopy effect up here as well as these patterns on the wall behind this is the master bathroom two sinks on this side and here there's this huge shower bathtub area call it a single wet area where you can have a shower there take a bath here and then on this side you've got your closet space and then passing through the bedroom again into this little sitting area okay this is quite nice TV couch dining table and then I guess there's a desk on this side here's the dining table I guess you're supposed to grab one of the chairs and move it over to the desk and this thing this thing's gonna be super useful extremely useful feature check it out you've got a water dispenser machine cold water hot water so you don't have to keep asking housekeeping for bottled water looks like an amazing welcome amenity here for our titanium status we've got some champagne looks beautiful sparkling water still water and then some macarons and some little snacks all right and of course the highlight of the Beachside Villa has got to be stepping Outdoors into this massive deck that we've got check it out private plunge pool this is really beautiful and of course the views in the distance this is pretty incredible let's take a look here we've got two seating areas here you've got some recliners and then little outdoor dining table covered in case it rains check out this plunge pool just want to Dive Right In right now but if we continue off on this side you'll see a couple more recliners right here of course the hammock and then direct beach access onto this piece of beautiful beach and of course you've got these stunning views of Mount otomani in the distance that's of course the signature view out here in Bora Bora I gotta say overwater Villas get all the hype when it comes to Bora Bora when it comes to places like the Maldives but as I stay in these beach villas I'm also developing a little bit of an appreciation for direct beach access straight into the ocean as well as all these more varied seating areas that we have between the hammock the recliners private pool it's good to mix it up every now and then you're like get up get up get up get up get up what are you gonna do how are you gonna fix it one report this way when you put it downwards why would you make more of a mess I would say it's better than the Conrad this is better than the Conrad okay this Sunset View and just this moment with the champagne super nice and I gotta say we've really been blessed with excellent weather here in Bora Bora so far it is technically rainy season in late February but rainy season just means a bit more clouds in the sky everything else still very sunny maybe a few scattered showers of a couple minutes here and there but otherwise super enjoyable okay now we gotta go check out one of the standout features here at the St Regis and that's the lagunarium which is a specific Lagoon type environment they've set up for snorkeling they've got beautiful fish in there so that's on way on the other side of the resort and better put the camera down this is living a bit Dangerously all right and we've arrived here at the lagunarium you've got the mountain in the distance but check it out here's the deck here's the ladder straight down into this lagoon area and look at all these fish this is probably some of the most world-class snorkeling that you'll ever find at any resorts look at these shall we go in and take a look yeah I think we shall [Music] it's so fun overall thoughts on the Saint Regis though it really is again genuinely beautiful only having spent two days here I think it's not enough definitely not enough and uh would love to return oh well let's return in the future spend some more time here but actually it might not even be the best resort here in Bora Bora because that title often goes to the Four Seasons and that's exactly it just so happens where we're headed next let's go check it out we've arrived here at the Four Seasons Bora Bora just in time for sunset finally after a few beach villas we're staying in an over water Villa now let's go check out what this over water Villa with Mountain View actually looks like this right here is the living area of our overwater Bungalow looks like a seating area pretty big a little desk in the distance and then the mini bar Pantry area turning around over here this is kind of a walk-through bathroom huge bathtub there's a pretty cool feature over here that we'll take a look at later on turning around this way you've got two separate Chambers for your shower and toilet and then his and hers double sinks and then on this side the main bedroom king size bed some closets wardrobes in the background nice little ceiling fan too okay now of course there's those set of doors that you can go out into the balcony but I think a lot more fun is you can actually step into the bathtub here and open these doors which then becomes a direct access point onto the over water deck we just blew up our pineapple over here and we're just gonna go take a dip we you just blew it up have to say we're pretty blessed to arrive here just in time for sunset and it's a beautiful view of Mount otamanu directly from our Villa obviously there's differences between staying in beach villas and overwater Villas like these it's kind of like two separate experiences two very different experiences and this time gotta say we're very lucky to have been able to try both across the Conrad St Regis and now the Four Seasons are you having fun you're so far away [Music] looks like we've stumbled here onto the Lagoon here at the Four Seasons Bora Bora just like over at the Saint Regis they've set up this dedicated lagoon area it's like a lagoon plus an aquarium where you can snorkel and look at the corals and the fish check it out over here some really beautiful corals can't wait to give this a try later on with our snorkels now I would say compared to the Conrad and the Saint Regis the four seasons has a lot more of the overwater Villas you can see them all across this pontoon as well as that pontoon over there so there's two separate of these pontoons and both sets of the overwater Villas you've got some facing the beach some facing the Lagoon and many facing the incredible mounts otamanu in the distance okay one of the most beautiful elements of the Four Seasons Bora Bora has got to be the spa facility I mean check out this relaxation area you've got your recliner seats a hot tub with this hydrotherapy feature as well facing out directly against Mount otumanu nothing quite beats this and you've got the Lagoon views there over too and of course since we're in an overwater Villa there's just one thing you gotta do whoa [Music] how was it okay this is really fun oh are you still rolling yeah it's okay one more time [Music] foreign we're just about wrapping up our stay here at the Four Seasons now and overall I have to say this is a really nice resort obviously as you would expect Four Seasons incredible hotel brand out here in the island paradise of Bora Bora but if I'm being brutally honest I did have very very high expectations coming in here to the Four Seasons and I don't think they were fully met if you know what I mean the Conrad insane Regis were fantastic experiences and I'm not sure I got something here that I wouldn't have gotten over there you know we had our overwater Villa in this case jumping into the ocean was a lot of fun but some of the things you know the fact that there's no bicycles here the fact that the service was only so-so especially for Four Seasons the standard I gotta say maybe not quite fully blown away but still nevertheless very grateful for this experience [Music] foreign [Music]
