Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher Review

[Music] alright guys episode number one with the topwater lure reviews series I am so excited we are gonna be starting off the booyah baits popin pad crusher this thing is retailed at about six dollars which is very reasonable for this bait I had the luxury of using it for the last couple days I'm very very excited about it first thing I like to do I'll package trim the legs are the package they're about an inch longer than the nose of the bait and I trim them right Anthony all the debate that's how I like to start it if I start getting short strike I trim a little bit more I got a little bit of footage that's made already being used from this past weekend so I will show you guys that footage and if I can catch anything today with this thing let's get some fish okay over there that's - that's my fault man soul then you missus I just don't want it well yeah we worked the edge I thought we were gonna go deeper now well not really deep I do yeah I'm gonna stop us right here oh sorry I didn't know I said I'm sorry I'm recording yeah coming in slow come install come on II not she didn't not want to stay there breathing maybe that's one of the big ones I've been looking for her oh you hope I got that doesn't feel that heavy turn this way point seven five five we're gonna get like some she'd talk too many fish on it caught - any fish on it good one I'm coming all right come right through right through right through it - it is a fat fish I think this is a long fishes all aboard three too long fish one fish a frog wherever you want breeds paths open water regardless you're probably going to catch a fish and the reason and the Pats fish it slow and I would try and walk the bait if you can't when you get to call the spot and Pat's give it a big old pop bagel pop really jaw tension bad spot open water kind of depending under our sparse vegetation I mean running food water fish and over vegetation either way it works find out what the fish want that give it day it's either gonna be pops combination of pop and I'm walk-in my advice I would start slow that's what worked for us this past weekend on Memorial Day we've worked in very slow and nine times out of ten and baths smoked it on the pause remember that on the pause guarantee right now and spring early well it's not early spring before the late spring baths are geared up to spawn right now they are full of eggs and radius Panama nothing too crazy fast up here in Northeast Wisconsin water still kind of cold I was informed by a game warden the other day that the temperature surface temperature was right around 55 degrees which is great when the bass was so start slow number two that frog has a very subtle but very pronounced popping action make sure I don't get hit they're very subtle the very pronounced popping action when you walk it back and forth we're just gonna take some practice they'll spit water on each of dark side to side on top of that out of the box the legs were a little long for my taste some guys like to keep it really long some guys like to cut it really short rule of thumb for me I flipped the bait upside down to lift the legs fall on each side of it and I like to cut off the legs right at the tip of the nose of that frog that's my general rule of thumb that's kind of where to start forget a lot of short strikes I trim them back about a half inch at a time until I start getting dead but most days they're just little little fish nibble the tails or pike for some reason love too short strike frogs are all their brain I do believe Pike actually like too their prey before they eat it kind of vicious I actually lost a frog this past weekend because he'll play ripped a big old hole in one of the two booyah pop and pad Crashers number three I love to put bb's in my frogs all my frogs so my frogs basket a little bit more finicky and you're walking that dog sometimes a little rattle will draw him in just that much more lastly if I had to give this bait very honest rating considering the other poppers that I've I've used in the past I'm gonna Chuck this thing I don't want to another road because of the price range this this bait is only like six dollars when most other poppin frogs like the bronze eye is I think like eight or nine so for those things do as well as it did and the only complaint that I really had about it was the amount of water that it consumed which wasn't really even that much every two three casts I'd have to squeeze it out because it would start to dip under the water about other than that I really like this bait and for it to only be six bucks I find it very worth worth what you're paying for it if I had to put it on a scale from one to ten I would give it a solid eight just because I don't want to go too high because we have a plethora of baits to go through a lot of hard leads a handful of hollow buddy frogs and one for sure one soft plastic top water bait so if you liked this video please like and comment if you want us to do anything different we are going to do everything we can to put out a video every single week please like the video comment tell us anything and please subscribe hit that Bell icon so you get all the notifications to the channel this is the channel where family matters most if you're ever in doubt jerk out see you guys next time you
