hello we're live hi welcome to the second to last reading prince bubba coppolathon we're going out strong this is the last leg uh thank you all to my lovely um special guests for joining me we've got a full house thank you all for joining us how's everyone doing um i think maybe we should introduce these lovely guests although you probably know them all because they've all been on a reading sprint at this point yeah i think amy's frozen right as we went live okay so ashley do you want to start and then we'll do the rounds i'm ashley from follow crew fiction and i am reading well of ascension we have like 200 pages to go so i need to be productive very nice amy you good you frozen and are you good am i back yeah yeah well you're good you never went would you like to introduce yourself should we come back to amy we'll come back to amy oh no oh no no what do you want to say uh should i go next i'm becca which i feel like everybody knows and i'm reading confess i have i'm nearly done i've got 25 pages left and this is my sixth book and i want to do two more in eight hours you can do it wait what's happening to the order now lauren's bumped up there do i go yeah yeah okay hi i'm beth from books nest i have alive at some point today time is nothing anymore um 18 12. it was great you can find me on books nest everywhere youtube and instagram and things and i am reading clap on your land um for my seventh book i don't really know how that's happened but i'm quite i'm gonna say nearly finished because this is told in verse so that may look large but actually there's not many words on the page um well i am lauren fiction t over at instagram and i am reading pretty much the only book i'm reading this weekend which is chain of iron because i am a slow ass reader that's what i'll have to say um let you know what i'm reading i'm reading the hundred thousand kingdoms by n.k jemisin it's really good i'm almost halfway and this is my fourth book for this readathon which isn't bad two of them were really small but like it's a win in my eyes oh yeah like i've done seven but one was a manga and two were comics and then the other three have been like 300 page books oh no one was 200 pages it's not as impressive as it seems i thought mine is the same it's not like i've yeah there's varying lengths how's everyone feeling in the chat i feel like i should be bringing up some comments at this point but the chat is moving pretty quickly um but hello everybody seems like people are doing really well yeah envy for everybody i've just been napping consistently throughout everybody so far has said that it's been like the most productive like nobody knew that they could read this much in such a short space of time like i read 798 pages yesterday which i have never ever done before wow that's a lot i think it's because everyone's just read together it's it's such an idea of unity particularly as we're just tail end of lockdown it felt like such a nice thing to happen for 48 hours yeah yeah we're saying it's run so smoothly as well like becca it's a testament to your organization skills because this is it's been really really good people keep like thanking me and stuff but like honestly without like thank you so much to my host because without hosts i couldn't have done it and if somebody was late then it would have all fallen apart but everybody has been on time so like yeah thank you everybody who's hosted sprints it's been fun i've enjoyed it yeah next weekend as well um i was asleep when you started beth but i woke up randomly like eight minutes past eight and then watch your chaos of making pancakes and then went back to sleep and then woke up and called like yeah i didn't realize my mum was watching me do it and she was getting something in the chat and i couldn't see and she was like use a metal spoon and stuff like this and i was like she rang me afterwards like you did very well with the pancakes i was like thanks they tasted good it was just chaos making them gavin i'm becca which i feel everyone knows all right mr library i do have to admit though my favorite thing is in any live show when someone turns up not having a clue what's going on and they're just like what yeah what's going on here we're just like live for the entire weekend and they have loads of questions and it's like we're on hour 40 likes it's like just leave at this point just everyone's too tired to even answer a question at this point yeah yeah oh jade's doing well eighth book for jade and dye that's on brand really isn't it yeah it really is it really is it's gonna be done i'm just getting smashed during my sprints i didn't know what kind of vibe we were going for so i have a cup of tea monster if i start slacking and then pre-drinks desperados for becca's oh this is my what was it like i have nothing yet i just have pepsi but i've actually this is my first class of the day i've been drinking water i stopped drinking pepsi i just have water i've got water now but i'll be moving on to gin pretty much halfway through this so i'll be good to go i've got cream eggs as well cody oh nice i've got those little lindor eggs yeah let's quickly go down to glasgow and we'll do a swaps these happily um opinions on confess becca how are you finding it it's definitely it's just like colleen hoover you know so it's like super dramatic and really entertaining but like wild is wild no less someone's reading their fourth book laurence same with you we're still doing very very well i just i haven't seen the cream eggs in america i hope that's just like right now or not a permanent thing because if so i'd be very sad for you guys we don't have cream eggs well dairy milk is very different over there huh you said easter eggs we can't get easter eggs in america i like the way we're all just silent oh right yeah they're not really big over there i don't think wow i've been to canada and the chocolate was either really expensive or gross ashley's face these things like constantly for about four weeks now what is that giant gold egg it's just chocolate i am so surprised this is something i didn't know i want to see how big mine is because i got the really big cream egg the one that you get like five cream eggs and oh yeah actually have cream eggs i've just got the big egg we will see this is also banned in the us oh yeah because because of the safety issue of having something inside chocolate oh that makes sense i mean it's so plastic wastage anyway but is anyone speaking of that kind of thing they don't have the new red noses yet no oh my god you know like red nose is usually squidgy and you like squish them onto your nose nope they're polystyrene in it and they have a slot for certain sex like size noses so you just kind of have to balance it it's not red nose it's a lie i know why they've done it but i'm not a fan you just asked what a korean meg is and i'm like how it's just like probably sounds really gross if you just look at the name the question is do you like cream eggs oh i love the cream egg you all are crazy do you like the galaxy ones or like the caramel ones i like the caramel ones i like the galaxy ones but not the caramel ones galaxy ones are good they're just so messy that's my only fault like you're just biting 10 minutes and it's all over my hand all chocolate is good chocolate to me give me the tagline yeah sweet fondant inside i love the a green ones though that you get halloween because obviously green but then also like halloween themed okay some brand for you oh ashley where did you get your sweater from it's the cutest pipe it because it's the brand is called minga which is m-i-n-g-e i've heard of it before my friends have got it for me for my birthday so very nice it was in this my first sprints that yeah um gavin bringing down the tone as always including a facebook apparently last night we'll cry laughing honestly it's over it's like every time it pops up i'm just i can't deal with it i can't watch it without wheezing really lightly it's such an awful face mask that could go on you've been framed does that still run i think then i think the clip has to be over like a certain amount of seconds because we were going to submit something that my beardy dragon did because he was trying to climb up the tree and he fell and it was under like five seconds and they wouldn't accept it and i was like a mess of 250 pounds oh someone just asked me what i thought of jade's songs as well i loved jade song oh yeah i saw that it was genius jade honestly amazing will you you'll need to record that for the next one and then have the intro i'll make a trailer like a promo trailer yes for sure oh yeah i'm still laughing at this too it's got the tail thing it was the inhaling of the mask for me yeah it was the inhaling of the mask yeah everyone's so tired that anything is just ten times as funny as well i was watching them eat the sour sweets i like when they go west and they're both just sat there for a moment and then you could tell the exact moment and in because they both just went oh alexi looked like he was dying blessed like crying jade's got the ep out now good to know yes jade did do a beautiful song will that be the next one here becca will there be a next one after this chaos would you ever do this again i've ruined everything now because i did one in july last year so now that i've done one in march i think people are expecting one in july and i will do one if i have the energy to be fair this is the most successful readathon i've ever done as in like participated in and it actually does take a lot of the pressure off me in comparison to the july one and this one's way more fun it was so much more so much fun i'm more likely to do it again maybe kevin says so many iconic moments during the entire book upload from everyone i think we all did a great job oh i will be ending the readathon with another double shot as well oh very nice and you're just going to pass out for like four days the dream getting up for work tomorrow is not going to be fun i can't believe you made me go up it was early this morning it wasn't you'd join me at 10. on a sunday because i'm preparing for the week ahead i got up at six and i was like oh you keep saying this like it's gonna happen i kept waking up subconsciously because i knew the road drop was happening at midnight and i didn't want to wake up unprepared so i woke up at 3 30 subconsciously to check twitter and look for the roll drop and it's been an hour planning my books in my head before i could fall back asleep it was a great time um yeah i feel like someone does need to put this compilation video together yeah that'd be fun i was thinking about it it just depends because i've got over an hour of footage for my vlog but i might do it tomorrow or i've edited my vlog if i have time if you want to be in track of jade of course yes jade got up at 3 30 wow like i went to bed at that time thinking i should get an early night so i can join today at 3 30. i was working on like my sister's birthday present and then i was going to read but i was like well if i read no then i won't be as motivated when i get up so i didn't read anything and then i was awake for half an hour longer because i wasn't really like settling any sleep or anything so yeah when i was awake you would have still been up oh gab's going to put highlights from my life in his vlog good good good looking forward to it gavin this is going to be a vlog i'm going to want to see yeah i feel like my live show was blur and all i can remember is becca just absolutely pissing herself for roasted cheese roasted cheese oh my god look at this little delirium my roasted cheese was hilarious to the point where like what time was it one in the afternoon and i'd slept for one hour at 10 p.m the night like two nights before no one night i don't even know what it's time she didn't readathon yet so by the time she walks up to mine she was like well i've been kicked out of there he's in angry water yeah there's something else as well i can't remember what the other one was at mel's mel sprints were a lot of fun they were chaotic i lived for that it was so good i love the chaotic yeah when do you guys wanna do the first sprint should we do it at 20 past yeah what are we thinking like half an hour 40 minutes 45 what you're in the mood for let me know i'm good for half hour oh yes i'll finish my book and then i need to find something else because my plan was to read the wicker king but i don't have time now so no my plan for the other two books has gone out the window and i just don't know what's happening yeah i'm doubting how like i don't think this is a good choice now this is going to take me too long as a second i think you'll be able to do it you read shadow and going so fast yeah but this is bigger than shadow of bone it's 500 pages isn't it is it 500. nearly 500 i think this might be a little bit ambitious actually you read it pretty quickly though didn't you no it took me three weeks yeah three weeks in comparison to eight hours that being said i don't like it all too much so that's why it took me three weeks search didn't want to read it oh okay i'm trying to think if i can make this fit like how how flexible is this modern day thing becca pretty flexible like this literally says it's set both in the 18th century and in present day london yeah i would take that because i do that for things like daisy jones i count it as a contemporary or a historical fiction depending on his field time that i could do i think okay i'll switch maybe yeah that's true the overlord has spoken i love that we're just watching back and being like friends i've been reading one comic-con manga and one book for each drop so i i need a book 200 pages nothing i've had this crisis the last two prompts i found really tricky because i don't have books outside of what i normally read well i went with this because i'd started this before and i found it really it's grief heavy and i don't normally pick books that are sadder so i kind of felt that was a good shout but the thing that aaron said when she did the drops was good because she said think about the two genres that you read the most and then just remove those two and then you can read anything else so that's good because mine would be fantasy and sci-fi so that means i could read a romance even though romance is something that i do read pretty regularly yeah hi erin speaker thank you yeah i'm not sure what i'm gonna read oh i haven't put your co-host channels in the description i'm sorry this was very organized very last minute and i didn't know who was going to be here but i will put everybody's links down in the description i am sorry i apologize you're down already it's fine how will anyone know who we are oh yeah everyone's asked which becca which prompt is it you didn't like coming up first book in a series that was restarting a new series because that had to be my graphic novel because this was my chance card and i'm already in the middle of at least five graphic novel series oh when that came up i was just like the irony of the fact that i start series all the time and it's the second book that i'm reading for this really like who knows what has happened to amy i mean she sent a text and she said she doesn't think her laptop is able to handle this amount of people so she's going downstairs to see if it works yeah but she can't make any guarantees right now so she will be back she might not be but amy's got a hab of pleasantly surprising people so we'll see we'll keep an eye out for her and if she comes back she comes back you'll hear her laugh anyway so she's so smiling whenever she freezes she just freezes smiling smiling yeah okay well it's 20 past guys i'm gonna try and do this banner thing that everyone seems to do okay reading till i mean it worked we want it to scroll across the bottom or are we good with it not what do you want preferences let's have it scroll let's do all the fancy things did that work uh what gavin did with his any like set up like the the asmr kind of reading room and stuff like i know that's about to extrapolate out there now but like i really loved what he had with his sales i thought that was really cool yeah i i can't do that we're just gonna have some happiness in the comments on here did you press enter after you typed what you want i don't know what i'm doing oh there's like a show and hide it you think you said it but you have to actually then force it to show yeah oh thank you one question why are we reading until 250. that is a long time i'm committed but not that good oh my god i'm playing that lens and cody's still here look it's been a long weekend we were meant to start reading 20 minutes ago wow it's fine oh okay big i haven't made it tick this time because i think that's i don't know i find that a little bit more distracting all right cool we're ready let's do this hello everyone hi hi hello baby nearly finished like painfully nearly finished i am finished with that one nice right about 30 pages yes i am about 30 pages i think i was like 20. lauren you muted yeah muted lauren hi um i think i've done about five i don't know i don't actually know maybe about 10 to 20. not bad oh oh the chat keeps jumping that was about to like someone finished their eighth book wow beauty we bow we not working 27 pages very nice 67 very good very nice i just love that at one point i looked up and there was just like a giant bella face i'm like laughing that's so good yeah we'll probably do that again no doubt very soon and if it's not her it'll be her brother because we love cat cam oh he asks how far through willow ascension are you now 526 are you liking it actually i am although there's one thing that just keeps happening i'm like okay it just doesn't need to keep being broke it's all about insecurity between two people and i'm just like just talk to each other please 30 pages hanging laundry very nice uh such a fun age is a very good book i very much like that one got this ashley yes we do oh a little life now that was a bold move for a readathon damn i hope you're enjoying it though oh the house of the cerulean sea it's a good one there's a lot of people reading that yeah 55 minutes left i've got silver flames perhaps yeah then perhaps not i think i'm gonna take a very weak option with my last book and i think i'm gonna finish good morning good night by lin manuel miranda because it is really just wait the audio book in its entirety is 45 minutes long and i have 35 minutes left but it's 200 oh hello there he is look it's gavin and then read dream in sun for my last one um but that means i can't read anything until my sprints otherwise i'm just gonna sit and stare into the camera during my sprint intimidation of you being like every so often oh someone just finished funny whoa it's just a weird book yeah house of leaves is a tricky one it's an experience six pages like yeah yeah it's about right yeah intimidating as i like i see like i've got no idea what it's actually about but i just see people take photos of the pages and i'm like it's such an annoying shape like this is clap on your land which is a normal size hang on there it's huge but also really wide yeah so weird so weird i just see that like the texts on some pages or maybe all of them i don't know that's one page what's that yeah i really enjoyed it but it took me a while to get through man it was a tricky one it was just really unsettling which is what i wanted so yeah i found it to be fun i want to know what makes it unsettling like that's my curiosity of reading it like that's why i would pick it up to find out why it is unsettling people that's the thing like if people say that a book's weird i'm like how weird are we talking i have to read as soon as it's just like oh that looks so weird i'm like okay i'm gonna read it depends what kind of weird though because if it's like weird like starla sees weird then i just know yeah brother i don't even call that weird it's just cool the best way okay i will not slander every time i'm not gonna lie like i don't really feel inclined to pick it up anymore because i watched ashley's vlog with it and i was like no do it the thing is i love the night circus right but like everything i've really cared about this book just i'm not feeling kidney pick up i i want i don't think you'll like it laura and i think it will smell which makes me really sad because i want to like it because it's aaron morgenstern but like obviously you can't force yourself to like something and start strong but then it kind of i liked it it was whimsical but yeah i can see it felt really strong together it was good but i can see why people don't like it but lauren i don't think i think you would take a long time to read it yeah it would be like how long are we talking like queer queen of darkness or because priory priory look every criticism i agree with but i still love it thank you olivia yes i was about to say it's one of those where like i did a whole review saying how much i don't like it and all the comments are just like well i loved it but i agree with everything if you just happen to like those things yeah amy doesn't have a youtube channel but i'm trying to make it happen well technically he does it was not like booktube no it's not big it's not travel vlogs yeah pretty much when i was in uni watching what lauren's doing with her fingers there no oh no i cannot do that i end up doing okay that was impressive amy and lauren you should both get youtube channels earlier you said i've not got a youtube channel yet yet implies yes because everyone's trying to convince me but the thing is i'll release one video and then i will do it it's just is what happens it's like i'll design a bookmark and then i'll make an etsy and i'll sell it like once and then i won't do it again one project and i'll never finish it so i'm just scared that the same thing's going to happen you know anyway even if it's just one video is one video i want to see from you yes on it and collaborations whenever whenever i go down a visit beth's i'm undoubtedly probably going gonna be in a lot of videos and a lot of it's just gonna be me going like that gavin with the slander again sounds good at this point i will finish it by the end of next week i will you're not going to happen and just do the roasting yes how the feels lauren yeah i used to want to watch this sprint yesterday to catch up on drag race oh yes i did watch drag race uh yesterday morning the us one before i like started reading i was like i have to because if i go on twitter i will be spoiled and i don't want to be spoiled oh someone has finished the cat monte cristo that deserves a round of applause because that book is honestly it looks like my clapping then was just rings more than clapping yeah that's what i could hear uh how many books have you guys read during this readathon i've read well three and a half years i've read some books when i had 200 that's a decent amount like yeah it's very good 800 pages somebody just said rusty cheese in the comments again okey-dokey should we do so do you want to hold off a little bit longer would you want to i'm bouncing out because i think you have another special guest and i'm not going to be reading for the next three hours anyway yes but thank you guys i think well thank you cody for inviting me thought of me and um yeah i don't have anything else to say oh thank you that is it thank you for hosting sprints there we go i know i've had something else a little bit that i'm drinking because i haven't told them that now i think that they may drink anywhere especially like ali but um it's also the middle of the day for them like cassie's in california so it's gonna be like midnight i mean it's like five o'clock somewhere true yeah um but yeah i will still be watching the sprints while i do some non-reading stuff and i'll see you all later yeah see you very kids and what are you reading g because we've all discussed what we're we're reading pizza um i did just extracted this book so i'm gonna be starting it the um seven and a half that's of evelyn hart castle it's a brick so i'm a little bit nervous considering that i have a week to read it and i'm slow you'll be fine you'll do it everyone's saying hi to g hello i mean are you as slow as me i think it's lower because it took me nine months to read a court of no queen of your environment but you were reading other stuff in between though no yeah so you played that for so long people who i literally cannot sister reading speed up because you'll take three months to read one thing and then you would have a court of silver flames in like 20 yeah exactly the thing is it's easy to judge like if i'm excited for it i'll read it in a day no i'm slow when i even read so and then on top of that i don't read lauren i think that's what you yeah you like because you you read fast i reckon but you just don't pick the books up as often probably i mean i work and i sleep and i eat and that's it like that's my life same i think people asking if she has a channel she very much does and i will be adding everyone's links in the description during the next sprint because i'm a tool i'm not be king for yourself well i mean it's not been i've not been having the best look with technology today let's be real it all came together well so it was good yeah oh my god somebody else took nine months to read queen everywhere in darkness i'm not alone yay it's not just you in the comments is it i'm just i've just seen daisy saying book roasted cheese and now i stopped apparently becca got really like was laughing about roasted cheese on ashley sprints yesterday i was doing this in scotland and we were talking about like differences in like some words or phrases that we say and leanne calls cheese on toast roasted cheese and becca was just like she full-on wheezed i've never heard that no worms my friend kane calls it that as well roasted cheese i've never had a roasted cheese no i was like but you don't do it in an oven it was a whole thing we you don't put what but cheese on toast goes in the oven no grill grill isn't good yeah yeah yeah but it's still in the oven then we ended up talking just like city cold turf roasted bread but like roasted cheese does not have toast in the name so it's misleading because then i would think that it's just cheese yes it's like a block of cheese like crispies like a camembert kind of deal now i just want cheese guys we'll have some brie but he goes and makes cheese um you know it's the same as grilled cheese this was the thing we were having a whole debate about whether it's cheese on toast or roasted cheese and then all the americans like grilled cheese i mean grilled cheese we should just call it grilled cheese on toast and then everyone's happy i'm in the microwave i did do that as a kid though um but we would put other stuff on top but it was always very soggy but that was part of the weird weird charm i'm generally just like how would you do that like do you do the toast first and then just put it in the microwave cheese just full oh but also it's not it's not grilled in any sense it's literally just melted everything melts together it's just right this day bread then i know people also like cook potatoes in the microwave and that i cannot stand like i can't stand behind them yeah no i like i get i get a potato when i get an egg when i like stab it it's like my little satisfaction and i'd like style it and then i turn around and stab it some more and then i put it in my grape for four minutes turn it four minutes and then it's yeah i did a baked potato in the microwave yes i put them in the toaster not the oven it's like 20 minutes on there if you put it in the toaster it's four minutes very efficient this is how you can tell we're broken we're just talking about ways i to cook don't even have an excuse i just joined so i shouldn't be broken but i think i just come broken so that's how you can tell it's around tea time in the uk because it's just food on the brain how acceptable it is to make dinner at what time i've already said i'm not going downstairs for my dinner until like hey i need the energy i'm so i did not sleep i made cookies for this exact reason oh she came prepared i may need to pop off you're in one of the sprints and get some sustenance because now i just want cheese i'm very full and happy yeah did you get uh don't ask me everyone's gonna hate me i don't want to go there pineapple was involved i will die on this hill happily and you know satisfied it was like dominoes or pizza hotloa it was dominoes we were considering mato pizza but didn't have the uber codes so old pizza so bad yeah we were really wanting to just cook something but then neither of us had the time or energy so here we are enough i usually get peace takeaway on a sunday and it's usually after i've just came off the phone to beth i'm like i think it's something to do with you like i think i need something on a sunday i do want pizza myself right now and desperately refraining from getting some people are agreeing with you in the comments yeah everyone's pineapple solidarity i love it whenever i just even mention it people just come at me and it's not a good time whenever i mention any like sweet stuff i don't like all right lauren i'm sorry i just don't i can't quite compute how someone can also not like nutella and not like cream eggs like and kinder bueno like what yeah does it like three of the best things that i mean i'm there with you with the first and the third but i also don't like cream cheese here's my teeth i just like they're like three the best things like millions aliens yeah there's also gillian's but like they're i mean i was going to say what kind of self-respecting person would go and spend 20 pounds in a box oh me just for a saturday though but then i'm just like next really good i think we should sprint at like quarter past then probably someone just said deep fried cream eggs oh no no no no that would go we already have mars bars here let's stop there okay i do like a deep fried mask but i'm not before at some point and um i mentioned the fried pizza and he just couldn't comprehend one of those he was like it's my two heritages scotland and italy coming it's together yeah it's something i don't think i've ever had anything deep fried oh well like other than a fish and chips kind of mm-hmm i can't believe you came to scotland and you didn't get a deep fried mars bar i also didn't have an iron brew you're going to eat it when i make scottish tablet right it is literally an entire bag of sugar there's like that much left over and we put that in the jar for like the sugar work we use for our tea it's just like a minuscule part you like when you're having tablet you're literally like consuming an entire bag of sugar if you just put that in put the last week in yeah but it makes it a little bit harder which is weird is so good but that does really hurt your teeth yeah thank you very nice i can never eat a lot of it though like just a little bit of tablet and then afterwards i'm just sick logan did not run into this problem the thing is like if i eat let's just say like three squares of tablet and i was to drink iron brew straight after i wouldn't taste the sugar and eye and brew because i've already consumed so much those tiny three squares of chocolate it's not chocolate tablet but it's it you'll be hitting off the walls like people don't understand a lot of sugar until they have got scottish tablet yeah said they deep fried butter is that literally a chunk of butter deep fried and then you just bite into that oh no oh no i haven't heard that but i always assumed it was a joke and i would like to keep thinking like i mean i wouldn't buy a chunk of russia regardless of whether it was deep fried which means breakfast every day i want to get it right this time like that's not exaggeration is the caramel fudge but it crumble is supposed to crumble in your mouth like fudge is soft whereas tablets are supposed to crumble yeah do you guys want to do half an hour 45 minutes yeah i'm not gonna put um the actual i know it confused people when i used our actual time zone so i'm sorry about that i won't do that again there we go guys i did it without messing it up well wait all right no never mind because i was like zero zero forty five so that 45 minutes past midnight no penny confusion hopefully i'm not the one to be commenting on numbers i'm just calculus okay should we do this is everyone settled in and ready to go i'm gonna pop off for a second and go pee and then i'll christmas at work and we have the voice on the phone it's always got to be me apparently because i can just turn it on it's quite the talent i needed oh nice on to my last one i think i bought my feelings on the book you finished um it wasn't my kind of thing because it was for the um pick of like one that you wouldn't normally go for because it was all about grief i found it like it was heavy in the sense of it being about grief which weighed it down for me but i can see how it would be really powerful people that are going through that kind of thing or really not helpful i suppose if they didn't want to read that kind of thing but yeah it was it was okay it came as a three star which is about like a solid it was good but it didn't blow my mind kind of thing so yeah i liked it i could see why people rape i like her writing style i really like to play x by her um but yeah that's that was the point of that prompt i suppose to try and push me to read something i wouldn't normally pick up which it did do very nice how are you getting on with the chain of iron lauren uh i have feelings that i can't talk about because spoiler but i just i keep on loving this book more and more with every single page and i just it's definitely like it's definitely made its way there like to like my second shot a favorite shadowhunter series like ever because nothing's replacing the infernal devices they can try but it won't get there um but it's literally like gossip girl but shadowhunters and say in 1903 which i just i love it's so good everything's so scandalous you can't be left in the same room with them oh my god so like bridgette and that's what i felt about that it's like gossip girl but yeah um so yeah it's good i read i didn't read too much there because i had to go downstairs and feed my cat but um i got popcorn so uh yeah another five pages yay steady you like it are you not consistent i'm nothing if not consistent how are you finding law amy i like it it's really fun but i don't know if it's just like i have no idea about greek mythology anyways i'm like i don't know who anyone is so i don't know if it's like yeah i think it's good it's funny there's lots of like jokes in it which i like any thoughts on uh seven deaths g or too early uh no i've been doing that thing where um i listen to an audiobook slightly at a faster speed than i read so then it kind of keeps me on my toes and then i can daydream because i will miss stuff if i do um it's been a very good way of handling books for me so um i'm on like page 34 but i don't know because i started so it sometimes doesn't start oh no it didn't start in page one um yes gonna be another of my faves that you dislike i'm just ready for you to just like delete me no no i'm not i'm not disliking it but it is very descriptive so i'm not the biggest fan of very descriptive books but i think the fact that i did sacrifice that credit for the audiobook is a very good choice because if the intrigue keeps climbing then this could be great and after that oh god i'm holding out hope that you do end up liking it but i don't have that i mean it's a trope i loved like the groundhog day like it's a it's it's a jazz but yeah are you still liking wild ascension ashley yes more of the same yeah you can say about the sequel of a series that's like 700 pages long i'm just like yes still enjoying it lasting good yeah how's everyone been doing i've missed so much but everyone seems to be doing good 43 pages 11 pages to make some friends yeah mm-hmm i see someone's reading song of achilles and that just brings me so much pain i'm so excited for them i need to read that i need to read that too oh yeah i need to get it and then i need to read it i pretty sure this makes me close cable in it final empire strange the dreamer or bridgeton i'm gonna say strange the dreamer but i'm just quite you know france brandon sanderson's my fave but for this read-a-thon i'd say strange to dream i didn't even know that bridgestone was a book first whole series i think yeah was it old i don't think so not like crazy old i think it follows a different character each book yeah yeah because they kind of tie aim up some storylines don't they um are you having anyone lauren you joining me i've cracked open the beer i will go and get a gin in the next reading sprint strawberry lace gin it's coming out as that keep on not restocking the coca-cola cube china it's really pissing me off does this sound really good the thing is it doesn't taste like coca-cola cubes it tastes almost quite caramelly but it's not too sickening either and then i put lemon and lime uh like fizzy juice in it and with ice it's just like you can drink it like i need to try it because it's just like me and alcohol i don't even know what i like half the time yeah i like it when it doesn't taste of alcohol that's exactly how i feel about the strawberry lace gin and a coca-cola coupon it's also quite cool because the coca-cola cube one has like blue glitter in it for some reason and the strawberry lace one has like iridescent pink glitter so it kind of looks magical when you get near the bottom and there's a lot more glitter in it but like i feel like it gets a bit more it's a potent word i don't know when you get to more glitter you can almost like taste that a little bit but it still tastes great to catch my attention with anything it's just like okay we've got a drink and i'm like oh yeah cool cool i just make it sweet i'm not good that's like mickey i can't drink some like really sugary things anymore i get like it makes me feel a little bit iffy if i drink like really sweet rose wine or cocktails i have to be careful these days i don't have any intolerance you guys from buca is just a devil's juice oh no oh flashbacks to uni no exactly like even at uni like i accidentally drank because i was dumb to just you know oh i see i drink and oh no no no no no it was just the oh no no no no no no never again oh cherry sours and coke i've tried that it's like a alcoholic dr pepper oh what dog paper is like my favorite fizzy juice apart from andrew obviously are you calling visitors as well yay i love you juice craze it's so cute well like we don't see soda like here doing great this was the whole thing it's happened in two other live shows already call it pop like where i am yeah drink fizzy drink in the south yeah i think it i think i say fizzy drink i don't know i i actually just say the name i don't think i actually have a yeah i would probably say yeah soda is weird because like soda for us is an actual drink like a specific drink so i always find something like cream soda or something like that yeah but like you could have like a like sort of water yeah you have so it's like this soda for me is like a bitter fizzy thing which is good though um see the purple rain cocktails from tgi fridays with them i'm gone like absolutely gone for the thing like i'm not it's not that i'm drunk but i'm just so excited and so happy like there was this one time like um i mean amy was where big lex is basically and so do you bet but like um tgi's is in the other side of town and i practically skipped up the hill to get to big licks to get my cookie dough and i was so excited and i was so cool with sugar i swear to god i couldn't walk after it there's so much sugar coursing through my body that would be anxiety telling i cannot do a lot of sugar i think it probably was some kind of anxiety thing but i was just like i'm high on life everything's great and there was people coming out of my concert as well and i was like how was it it was an experience but that was only with two so god knows what i would be like on a couple more angry walter back again um so someone asked i've lost it dinner when the next sprints are going to be i'm going to say on the hour make it more simple you think yeah yes sounds good to me sounds good guys i've not eaten a lot today so how much does that generally affect me i also have not eaten a lot which is why i keep nibbling on things like this i didn't have a proper lunch i realized this now i'm gonna need to eat as well because even though i'm only having one beer it is desperados so i mean it's like you know the beer because it has tequila in it oh my god what is a rose slushie that sounds elegant like pink helps women kill their oppressive husbands and this woman in modern day is discovering the secrets of it and how they all were murdered themselves of course not me going on amazon it's a debut for the author but yeah i really like it the writing style is quite addictive does it say anything about being based on a true story because that's what happened there is an india bear oh it's not out yet yes it is oh i'm just out of stock it's okay i'm just marking it so i remember later because i'm sold also that cover is really pretty literally watched a video the other day about that actually happening so i was like listen to an episode of mfm about that or something very similar where like they were yeah just killing off the husbands the abusive husbands for poisoning very fun yeah i have less wealth just under yeah 100 pages left of this one though that's exciting how are you finding that it's very good i really like enko jemisin's storytelling was a little bit confusing at first because it's really good it's very hypnotizingly written the way it goes between time and the mystery uh king of scars that's a fun one i like that one and at the ending of that one i think that's going to be an audio book for me because i had to read crooked kingdom an audiobook because i really just couldn't get into the ones which made me really sad i've got some love for mary which i also would say was probably my favorite book i've read so far this weekend it's so good it's so good what did you read this weekend i've only seen what you've read amari almost done with this and then empress assault and fortune and then laura dean amy which was so cute thank you i really liked it i really liked it i keep saying that for years now and i keep forgetting to check it out i think you'd like it thank best sleep when you feel this knack like when you go to bed truly early i always feel like it's like i know this is still going on i was gonna go for eight books finished but i feel like seven books finished and eight prompts read across them yeah that's amazing that's so good i've just been still not feel like i'm close to the end because like i'm gonna need another two hours to finish this so i'm like yeah yeah what an accomplishment though to read a whole sanderson book in like a readathon this looks really good it's like yeah dragon now though it's just like political fantasy i the other one i read was a contemporary just not a happy one my mind wasn't a happy one either um love the way of things love to see it at children's bloomberg and the style of c yes the stylist fee is amazing david both of those books this weekend looks like it's incredible wow someone made a mask falling which makes me very very happy yes could you imagine if i read the mask falling again this weekend
