I welcome I'm just trying to check on my YouTube app thanks girl yes it is now yeah hey hello everybody so events like this morning I'm still like kind of waking out so I'm just like only see you when you yeah Wow okay this isn't at a time for everyone because we kept you guys in mind just like people in the job because usually like our past ones have been that like a good time for us which is usually a bad pretty first one else in the world yeah like can come and say yeah that morning is also really fun it gives me time to late it gives me a reason to like get ready in the morning I know you're braver than the troops Jamie hi I'm Chloe from the channel books of Chloe and I'm gonna start bloody I haven't read any of it I was actually planning to read okay cool in this live stream but I was watching avatar when I was getting ready and it was the blood bending episode and this involves blood magic so I was just in that vibe sounds like you know what oh wait I was gonna say well participating in Asian read-a-thon but we are we are but like I have a huge TV are like I have a lot of reading plans or like I'm gonna condense Asian reads one into one week only I'm on there for books for though you know for books that I've actually planned but I know that I'll read more books written by agent authors during the month but the ones that the tasks yeah yeah I make it in reading I am going to be reading wicked thoughts by cacio and mega late to the party on this one because we meant to read it in April oh my man Jamie book club but technically I love show isn't until tomorrow so she's still got time and I'm like half wait for this it's amazing literally amazing when is the movie coming out I need it if it is a kdrama coming out I was like oh no oh my god but yeah are you gonna I was thinking of picking up wicked folks I've thought about multiple times because I'll probably see the live show and everything but I think in a second time time this month like I've too many books plus yeah probably maybe out sort of thing so sad but I'm definitely a reader at some point the next book comes out have you listened to on audio like I haven't but I've actually heard kinda weird thing is that the audiobook really yeah I've listened to a little bit of it and I quite liked it mmm but I haven't like delved into it is into a bit I tried to do the listening to the audiobook whilst reading along visually and I was like I can't do this absolutely once I was like I'm out of rhythm with myself is it like a Korean narrator I haven't like checked to confirm but from her pronunciation I think yes yeah my biggest happy like I mean when I read Josh and Hazel's guys aren't dating and Josh Korean yeah I'm late like Josh would refer to his mom as oh ma but now he just kept saying ma and all that I'm they're gonna punch you I know like it's a hard word to pronounce so she clearly didn't like do the reason for that I'm sorry that's disarrayed oh my god um nikki is in chat hi Nikki and she's saying my GF is a gumiho is a kdrama and Chanel's saying that as well yeah no I have that on my to watch list everyone recommended that once they finish wicked box hmm it's exact same thing is wicked folks oh like Ivan you know because that we see is like a fantasy okay so yeah so what everyone else in the chat reading also any has just it it's midnight here and I've waited up just as how Caitlyn enjoyed it foul is fear is lit oh that is so good to hear I swear I've seen like minimum three people give it five stars like I'm pretty sure everybody who I've seen read it has King oh I miss the fun be a man I want to reread this so badly girl when you when you read it I will reread it with you it's so much like classic like wife and seen stuff that I do I haven't even touched like Infernal Devices don't know what that is the cool thing you out of it I think you would love the employment license I think so too that's the T though like I'm like why have I not yet yes you need to read prior oh it's just such an endeavor for Shadowhunters but like I know people do we need to read the Mortal Instruments though to read even at all like um it's probably not as building but it does don't give you like enough to know what's going on something but if you're planning to me like the mole instruments you might as well yeah I think because I think maybe I think I read the first three in high school and I know literally nothing about them but I remember reading them really fast yeah they're really quick and just fun and like stupid at that time like it's just yeah it's just fun I would love to read them like I can just imagine me laughing the whole time yeah I remember about them is that like there was this villain that I was like oh my god oh yeah maybe talk about this and I literally you're on the right track I just love like villains I just Annika took my Valentine all the other one but Valentine is so boring to me he's just like I think boring yeah he's a boring yeah I remember him being Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the movie so I was like hello wait like in the movie oh my god I write confident movie honestly I love but felon point in that may be personal not it's not necessarily him in that movie but I like Jonathan Rhys Meyers Oh agrees with me we love Sebastien PC we love the best Jamie have you read vicious I've read vicious by ve Schwab but I haven't read officious by LJ Sheen which I hold recently um have you eventual yes I love it oh really I have to do it right at four stars whereas I rated vicious five but I really liked it it was just like there was like three new characters that were introduced and like I likes them but like I liked the three characters or the four characters sorry and vicious a lot more yeah yeah I don't know I was so excited for it and then I got nervous because some people were saying it wasn't like there wasn't Tumnus sorry but I think I would love it no I think so too like this I think is a character that you would really like because she's really interesting like she's not necessarily like a hero or a villain but like she's just really really interesting yeah I think is it what shows me watching well we actually currently bunny watching Castlevania which is super cool it's like a horror well it's not really that scary but it's classified as horror I looked it up but yeah and it's like involves Dracula and it's just it's just the best we're having so much fun one we already won cuz it was really for it so yeah but I'm actually kinda nervous because apparently it takes ages between seasons to come out and there's no like for us to watch yeah oh wow I'm sure we can find with so we both we all like three of us like watch like quite a lot of things like quite fast star can we can find like in between seasons we'll just watch the Sun really quickly like one of those is on season yeah and we have so many things you want to watch on using Netflix funny which is the best oh my god buddy watch The Vampire Diaries I would absolutely would I absolutely would wait Jamie what's it I that is like one of the most fun TV shows it's me that Gossip Girl I had my one CW show that I was obsessed with your pretty lies I'm actually currently watching that as well like rewatching because when I read um a good guy Tamara it was giving me pretty little eyes vibes and I was like oh my gosh I want to watch it and now I'm what because he is just so fun but like I just remember being like because I'm such a snob alright awesome high school but when I was going up I didn't even notice acting really so I was just amazing but obviously there's freaking student-teacher relationship is ridiculous I mean I'm like oh my god I mean watching got a girl in high school and the first time I was like I noticed very acting was not from any of the main like characters amazing me so well but then like I remember the other thing come there was I have side character who came in he was there for like five episodes here relationships arena and I was watching it I'm like this guy's sucks like I cannot act is this so dad did when I agree watched it the guy oh my god that's armie hammer in gossip girl he is no I remember that I hated that storyline I really did like a cigar watching like growing up but there was always something that I hated about each season like this one and it's not in like a fun wait it was like I know I I actually hate them like they just pissed me off so like it's not something I'd ever like I mean I probably would read watch this fun but like whatever like penny would read watch what she would read watch the tapes and I would be like oh yeah this is one episode Mike oh wait I like those ruins the whole thing have like iconic side characters that like came back sometimes but like never really like I remember loving Georgina and I loved Hilary Duff was on it and Lily Lily van der Woodsen I'm honestly just there for Blair like just show me like a supercut of every Blair scene that I will like yeah but like core demon gospel episodes oh my god I can't go I remember I watched this clip on Tech Talk it was like um Dan was like it was like a light season I was like season four and like Dan like goes up to chuck it was potty and it's like look I think I should probably talk to you about this because you know you're certainly you're like Serena's brother and they just goes so are you really know yeah just like lively gin with that I hybrid I hang I don't care who knows Oh body meant of like I'm not like other girls like mg just like this is a very superficial thing I'm gonna wear of it but I have this real hatred of win it's just kind of this like unspoken rule that a certain character is like beautiful and amazing and they're played by an actor who just to me isn't like I never could get on board with the Gossip Girl dynamic of like Blair's great but Sarina is like a goddess it's like heavy scene Leighton Meester she is like an ally beyond her and also Blake Lively like works with Woody Allen she got married on a plantation she's a piece of married on a plantation in southern America like in the south and she's like booty and it was like that's why I always I always loved how apparently light Layton and Blake never got along and I was like miss Layton has taste she like blades of like she's acting like that I mean well like Layton Mesa has gone to on to like Mary sit Cohen she and him do like charity volunteer work like stand the superior gossip girl couple PE like come on so funny I would hate to work with like I'm I didn't like being on a show that's like literally ten years like you know going for ten years whatever and you hate you're like oh my god no leading leg Meester's song with Cobra Starship what was it Cobra stash it was like one of the bands for me and like the emo face it was like damn and like the enemy is and like Fall Out Boy you guys rate the Gossip Girl books I read that yeah I got that for my library when I was like 12 that would be a fun video like reading them oh my god read the books because I actually have a few of them and that would be really interesting I got in the end like them but him to be fun I remember Ginny it's like entire character just being completely different and time venice' pretty sure penny so it was at least being overly clean oh maybe she wasn't maybe it was Vanessa done sorry like oh my gosh wait the way I would see the done a bit I was like yeah like if I just like rich and smoke blazed rich and like Jen's like a not snob so they go to oculars to give it and ballet see always a porn film see of it but they blazed like no like we can't be seen together but then like they fall in love I would read a book I thought like carriers like that a romance enemies to lovers yeah I think like that dynamic it's fun but like just not them like the chemistry it's a little bit like why are these best friends like just like yeah I'm his friends but yeah then like he just felt like yeah I didn't have a support during the books interesting you should film some stupid being together license you did like remake of the same and like Jenny will be the good actor you know these places are ringing them and then she'll actually be likable like she's meant to be in the books I've watched so much and I always like did I just let it out oh maybe I think so because I couldn't hear anything you just it was not worthy one time at drama school we were doing we had this tutor he was a director and he came in and like Twitter some stuff and then he like we did this exercise where he gave us like all the same script and he would give us like different genres and situations and we just had to make this script work for like that genre and the girl we're given rom-com and i was like the protagonist the guy was like the guy I was after and then like the other girl was like the girl who was like you know keep trying to go off to him but like was like super so she was like the villain kind of and so we did it and like I we had at me and him had out happy happy ending and everything and he was like all right huh he's like I think I'm actually gonna like switch the two girls you guys you get you guys can you switch roles I just feel like Jamie you're just so confident that like you would be a really really unlikable protagonist and I was like oh oh okay and now my flatmates I'm working with him because he's a director for the show that they work on and my friend was like um you said that maybe stream was a really unlikable and he goes I remember her she was fantastic like well then what's the tea hunt like oh my god can mean not this but it's fine because I didn't let it like gets me because I don't really care like 300 some weed man gets you being an issue in link but like also I kind of understand that like it's sometimes it's constructive criticism well that was just really weirded really badly like a like what property like trained teachers we had people from the industry like come in and like every week and with that would be our tutor for the week so it's like quite a unique system in terms of like home school it's not traditionally academic but um so I don't think he ever like taught before because that's like a coming on you not on your acting what I love about people trying to use the word confident is like an insult is that if you ever tell a confident person there to like be confident in a bad way like don't even kiss yeah cool like I know like the worst thing about Leos is that that vain I'm like I don't really think that's a bad thing yeah exactly I guess Leo's just don't have any flaws then you guys gonna read yeah thanks for just a minute um in a minute shall we start with a 15 uh yeah with debris I'm reading I guess yeah okay let me see a city all right we all ready yep stunning let's a go [Music] [Music] [Music] I wonder the same Tristan I see that little oh I think I know heart racing okay sorry [Music] good not now oh I know what but you don't - okay no I need to stop okay Caitlin was going on a journey she really is wow you are though oh my god okay this is also key yeah yeah so yes I am so I actually read like ten pages but especially like in the beginning it usually takes me a bit to get into it because obviously that's like a lot of yeah quite a few tabs oh yeah well I just got like some important information but it's really good though oh it's such a beautiful book on the gold those ages are stunning I know I'm like 10 pages oh I'm ready teach me a song and I am Jin I am not loving it but it's still fun like the 25 pages I just read kind of boring it's pretty boring really good boring book like love to a certain few characters but most of it it's like a chore that book but I thought like personally I found the first in the third books like really fun and fast the middle would just kind of lie alum okay um the but I annotated was um mouths always been like that and you could drop him in account full of assassins and it come out carried on their shoulders he just bloomed were here where were these plants and I'm like I find that hard to believe he's like the most uncharismatic character in this series definitely so bland like just because the author tells me everyone loves him doesn't mean that I'm gonna believe it because yeah yeah you got a show not tell Jen asks have you met Nikolai I think I have but he is so far the best character in the entire series and I'm like why doesn't anyone mention this character and then I'm like oh wait until I see him book syndrome yeah I actually there's an interesting discussion I wonder if we should have it I can wait let's do it cuz I don't I haven't actually read that miniseries Yeah right I think I mean not to start with the blindingly obvious but I really love chamber of secrets both subjectively and objectively I think it's such a strong book and it gets a lot done in under four hundred pages without it feeling packed or rushed to me personally anyway I I also I'm not in like majority here but I like the wicked King more than the cruel Prince what else I for me I thought I mean maybe just because I didn't find the plot as interesting in the second book but I remember the first book was like so intense to me and I was just like oh my god so much is happening and I was just loving it and then the second book I was just like I kind of look so I'm not even necessarily had like singable syndrome overflowing and just personally wasn't for me yeah because like I know that things happened obviously and it was like sort of interesting but I don't know yet I know this doesn't necessarily count because it's a duology so I'm not sure if it counts it counts okay I can't I preferred use of nightmares to strange the dreamer like and terms yeah like I love them both but I honestly had such a good time reading music nightmares like I think that was like my favorite out of the geology and that's it's like it can go either way because it's either like okay you already have fallen in love the characters just super invested and it's just like you're having an even better time because like you love them all and like new journey or like a you know continued journey or whatever it is or it can be like the first book is so good and then like you have to my expectations or something and then away and then you know so yeah Kevin raised a point the court amidst in fury G the pioneer of second books the based syndrome I from what I've heard I agree I was like I was like it's James yeah I didn't like that time I was like look Jacob I do want to react by Hagen I didn't like just reading about Bella pining the entire time yeah on immediately classic like I feel like that's the best book in the series I was gonna say if we're gonna do best book my series Breaking Dawn I just reread like the fists and the fish oh my god I I mean like it's gross but it's the one that I was like okay like first and fourth oh not with that Oh God but I didn't really like Eclipse oh my god no it Clips this little literal West yeah you're about like the werewolf packs like forces Bella to kiss him and then link is that I know you nothing that I literally was like I'm gonna stop as a series when I was like 15 and obsessed with it I was like that is not okay I'm gonna kill them like look even if you are into someone if they were like I know you're obsessed with me I know you love me I'm like okay well now know like you just made like I was wrongly she's clearly obsessive Jacob I mean Edward Twilight is like the epitome of like angle but it's so obvious remember the only reason I do and he was in like Tokyo Station Thank You Kara honestly I oh I forgot about that that's right Maya thing happening but like I reached like Twila it's kind of nostalgic but like it also didn't give me the same feels that Harry Potter did like I'm already I already had my like childhood facts like it's I just didn't hit the same impact it didn't have the same punch mmm I mean it's the flame not like objectively good so exactly right if I can't fun and like it's an astounding it's not for you I didn't have that item like I mean my friends were obsessed going on and your friends like I went to the movie and watched it six times like they're like movie to get like on they're all like all the rehab how many times did you see it the first movie alone guess how many times I saw it I think you treated a recently ten I preferred Hunger Games two to Twilight honestly The Hunger Games so lap yeah like humans are we to after Twilight but like that's what I was obsessed with because I like saw all the movies and everything was like really seized with that whereas like Twilight like I saw the first movie and like I didn't see the risk them and like you know I didn't care as much whereas like hunk gangs like I had a mockingjay pin maybe in some ways like three or four times yeah I love how Robinson hates Twilight it's hilarious it's so funny and he's a king this is kind of random but I wanted to say um so I was looking up last night like most popular animal crossing characters just because I was curious which by night Kiki one and it looks like Gigi Oh My gods joette I really need that and it says like it's rumored to be from Kiki's Delivery Service liking like it definitely is you know um but also so Jamie actually has a really job that is worth fifteen to twenty million bills exactly like this like thing online huh they have an it with you know because people like if they're really popular people want them so like if move out you can you know get someone to buy it by the Muffy which is that Julian yes doing do I know but he's the sixth most popular also like I want to sell them the other one because I think I saw other popular ones okay so this is like t1 yeah it's a reason worth like 15 to 20 million so I got Raymond howdy marshal Judy Julian at Diana marina Horner stitches I had marina and Diana and newly all of that yeah Raymond is number one I mean Raymond looks cool but I like Marshall he looks more but Raymond don't like you really but because finally got one of the people like she's not hungry but I just didn't want her in Maryland anymore cashews really kind of boring patty I don't so she liked us leave I was like oh yeah thanks and then anyway so obviously last night I want to Athena Islands to see him when I invite this second Oak Island I go to I see Patti I was like what the hell and I was like I wonder she's gonna pretend that she's never met me before and then I went her and she's like nice to meet you Mike yesterday oh my gosh like are you kidding it's of course I did not invite her I invited him agent s oh yeah he reminds me of nibbles cuz he's also a squirrel that's cute um he looks and he's looking quite popular too like he's not in the tier 1 I think he's in tier 3 but like he looks really classic okay he's cute yeah yeah I think I have a couple of tier 2 or tier 3 villages cuz lolly and sprinkle are those ones that are like really cutesy so that people want them yeah I'm not always in like like if just if they keep but they don't have a good personality like I don't care like I just find it so boring to talk to people who just don't say anything interesting so just if icky um but yeah so apparently it's ignore them for 15 days but then I also looked up and I saw that someone said the people you talk to you the most are actually the ones who asked to leave so I'm true because when I had JJ move in she wanted to leave literally the day after she moved in and I had not even spoken to her yet that's so interesting I wish hopefully the same happens for growth because I didn't I didn't invite him he just I had I had a villager leave and then I didn't play the next day when I was just busy and then I played the day after and it was already sold before I even had a chance to look on any like my like any islands or gonna be capsized yeah and you have to literally do it like the date at the point is open otherwise so we don't yeah it was so annoying because that last time someone left the person in the campsite immediately was Julian so that's good I mean for me you got Julian I know the only reason we want Julian is because of his room all his rooms gorgeous he's got all this audio furniture I think that is so cool um someone said should they get the switch light Oh so should the episode just final crossing and you know I would say yes also like you can like there are other games that are also really fun yeah we will say like I got Animal Crossing I mean this which Jeson I'm crossing but I'm sure that you would eventually get other games that like cuz there are so many good games like it's a nice like Animal Crossing is a nice one to start with lose I mean yeah it's so annoying that could be good thing all my other games because I'm acrossing like play like every day because you know if you miss out one day for example like you get a weird villager moving oh Island so much but I call me if you guys to come over when it's finished it's looking pretty good but like they're still starting we finish your Island you should do an island tour and a vlog I want to but I want to like you know do the proper set up so you get like making here and everything yeah yeah so hopefully soon shall we do some reading let's do it another 15 er yeah yeah let's go for it I'm so excited for you to read more Caitlyn I'm in such a good how much my like pretty book yeah I going team it's just someone winning this book like it's just like actions enough to actions and also like I don't really like like it's hard to write in action saying well so I'm like yeah yeah yeah but like our parts that I enjoy like some of it yeah you have to just that's one I think like you have to try Rita as fast as you can even though not he says not even though it's not great like the longer you drag it out the worse it is good idea like I've read it really fast so far yeah yeah oh my god you guys wicked fox is so good one page 266 now and I'm just like there's so much left what else is gonna happen I know I know we'll talk about this aspect of it in Malaysia tomorrow but like I know yeah it's anyone boring or slow or like I agree it is so good like a super strong start yeah cuz like sometimes I dread standing fantasy because I'm like oh I'm gonna have to learn all these new terms I learn the world like all this stuff so it's I feel like it's always intimidating for you to start a fantasy cuz I got like usually take some time to get into it but like yeah yeah it's really good like introduction because obviously like there's bloodletting throughout but it's not like a page of in photo sort of thing and this already kind of chaos happening so I'm loving it I'm like the main character her blood magic is so cool and like it's a classic like she thinks she's a monster but I'm like just erase it like you just do yeah it's so good so huh like this makes me want to try it oh yeah like if it keeps going like this right like it already has five star potential thank you yeah like if it has this strong of a star and like it's just so interesting like and like the writing is so good too I'm robbing the place that she's currently in is called ghost Falls and now I'm like I wish I named try Animal Crossing Island cuz that's so cool oh my god oh my gosh I'm intrigued 27 my favorite number No I keep forgetting I really really want to yeah I just saw this I mean language of thorns is at the top but I'm like oh yeah it's a place to kind of be like the classic fairy tales that they would tell kids in the gursha verse but like it's always be cooler and yeah it has like the stunning illustrations throughout like I haven't wanted to end up the selling but I keep forgetting I finished good idea stories in the books like I remember like they said something like the clever Fox and then recalled the clever Fox in my your phones I just saw a Meredith is reading halfway through station 11 I adore that book but you are brave to be reading it right now because it's like post-apocalyptic write about a pandemic yeah it's interesting I saw some people like to read that at a time like this so like they can relate but like personally that would hit too close to home like post-apocalyptic that's like the worst situation that could like the worst outcome that could happen test something like this so I'm like I don't know yeah I preferred escapism yeah like my one media like books TV movies all the time to just like take me out of reality yeah like okay sometimes I like to you know really but yes although I was watching movie with my family last night and it wasn't good but it was like it was like college and I was like I missed like hanging out my friends yeah that's like the one thing goes like sometimes it will remind me of like do I know I'm watching something these days and like I see people like so quickly I'm like oh like it's the same we need like I was watching my believe Edwin's his hands and then those his same they're like all of them go to the house like look at Edwin and they're all like so close like looking you know like this is something should I that one they Jamie let's read it soon I really want to read it right here got my with me too yes you should my gods look small that is you have really it's really small that that kind of paperback is one I don't like like this step it's really more font like knowing because I'm actually getting maybe like recently like I do actually put sometimes for 30 bucks but only picky when it comes to max so I actually ordered a few books and like some of them are complex and then you never know if they're gonna come like if you haven't seen them in a book so you never know it's gonna be a good fluffy one or it's gonna be a stiff one with the gross pages that could be a good option option um I would love that because we definitely need to get more authors of color on our list I agree yes series I just don't get it like I own a c9i that's really weird because I have only heard about it through like you and then two of my other friends and all three of you like love it and have given it three steps three stars by me when I love a book um I didn't realize it had like a bad rep does it well it has good and bad like it obviously did really well like it you know made the New York Times bestsellers and stuff and a lot of people do you love it but then there's also quite a few people who change and it's like it's overrated it's cliche something like oh no I I don't I don't get it I've seen the same with wicked Fox I when I went on Goodreads I sniffed at 30% and I'm like interesting how people like to come for certain why I like fantasy books saying they're not great because of this reason and that reason but it's like I'm not gonna watch a chelate as well but I saw a really good tweet about it the other day and it was about how um you know we need to we obviously need to like lift up and like consume more works by by people of color and yet when we do lots of people hold them to such high standards like yeah like we need more like fat way fantasy written by like these marginalized groups or whatever and then they're like oh but we have one and there's like it's cliche or like those things you were saying and it's like hunt how many books by like white people and man I like not perfect like things that other were allowed to exist and not be perfect like yeah exactly and also like you know marginalized groups are always saying how they want to write you know these classic stories that are like you know full of tropes and cliches and stuff because they haven't seen that yes not solely represented in those stories exactly so you're like they should be allowed to oh I hated this like one fantasy book so like I am NOT gonna bring any more fantasy books like so I think it's ridiculous - like just immediately lump so many books in the same group just because they happen to be written by like authors from a certain country mm-hmm you would never be like oh I really don't like Leigh bardugo is writing so I'm not gonna read the e Schwab and I'm not gonna read the screen like that's just not the case at all yeah now I'm ready to hype hard for children of blown blown I'm like I have like the opinion of like three people who have excellent taste and they will love it and like I see like if they don't well like it will be such a fun and like haven't I did when I was a little I don't think and then maybe like my cinema was nothing like is me like festival thing like we're basically though it is showing that Disney may be so like only one let's see Bambi so he went to see fami like in the big screen on the Big C and everything and like it was okay but like at the end we all would display was more a symptom of its time because that was such there were so many key developments and animation so like Bambi was really about showcasing how advanced the art style and like moviemaking hip yeah exactly so I couldn't appreciate it at a time
