ability to play you guys can see a couple bass uh guitars back there um I did play I had some head injuries kind of took it away from me for a bit bit but um I've been uh working on that for for years uh I'm wearing a New Found Glory t-shirt uh Christine and I have what what was it oh yeah yeah yeah your your uh Coheed tattoo like music is a thing for for us a a big thing I think we got some like 70 gigabytes of of music it's a lot like like a ridiculously large amount of of of songs not to mention our playlists for you know like YouTube music and whatnot so Boi The Rock seems like a natural fit for us yeah guys we we do we love we love music do you love music I've been talking a lot say something yeah I you just have just ran with it and it's just like there's there's no Gap to say anything like just someone's excited so now here's your Gap I you just asked if I like music I said yes and yeah and then I judged you all right guys well we will get into The Rock and hopefully uh hopefully uh you guys dig these uh reactions my God it's like looking at me me would have been you had we had smartphones in middle [Music] school I was a middle school before a large chunk of our audience was even alive yeah my middle school us Middle School years 6 through uh8 or um 96 [Music] 399 someone's about to have their life changed our son Lucas is is into music as well uh some from school uh some because of of us he likes to ask you know can I uh pluck a string or you know try to play the uh the Bas bases back there uh he has a keyboard he he's learned some he makes his own like um uh 8bit uh music using uh famy Studio on on app uh on his smartphone and on the desktop computer he's he's come a long way like he started out with some it's like dude you're making you're making noise which is good music music is a form of noise um but you need to focus on repeating patterns and listen to other songs and and hear how they they make music together if you guys are interested in seeing the Journey of a uh M the musical journey of a 9 10-year-old uh uh kid uh check his YouTube out MB Lucas 133 he does other videos not just music but that's that's one of them he's our little Jean it is yeah Bob Burger's reference yeah he wants to do it his way I bought him a a music theory book and he won't pick it up he wants to do it himself so it's like okay it's a nice guitar black and gold just like Trump I'm joking that's a that's a ref that's a reference and it's not really a reference to Trump it's a uh uh Harvey Birdman attorney at law reference guys it's okay tab [Laughter] mhm [Music] a it's going to take you a while just stick with it she might end up being a musical genius [Music] ooh nice okay cool yeah seems pretty wholesome like an or origin you know like yeah having that that type of a life-changing experience with music I I like I dig it I can relate well we know who won't be getting a boyfriend during this series oh yeah short blue [Laughter] hair that dig it it's a good opening song mhm jeez a [Laughter] this is true had this conversation uh with a uh uh another YouTuber about trying to find that balance between what cuz there's is a an artist channel uh Tim nardelli by the way check it out new not lot on there just some time lapse uh drawings but uh I'm working on helping them change that there's there's things like if you're if you're going to be in a band especially just starting out covers are are almost a must because no matter how good you are until you've built an audience you need something that you can uh connect with the audience that is presently there same thing with this artist channel it's like they want um uh you want your your uh artistic take and thumbnails and the presentation and all that but you also have to look at what does well on YouTube and you kind of got to meet in the middle until you build an audience and then you can drag them Kicking and Screaming because they like your content to also like the way you present your content but I I I get it I dig it and it's it's nice to see that she's uh that they're touching on that that you do have to do covers every now and then you have to reach out too sweetheart yeah I know it's [Music] hard song requests at [Music] schull I dig it ow cat yeah I hate that too I hate that too I get it I get her I get her I'll be having the greatest day in in in a long time and then my brain will be like hey do you remember that really embarrassing thing that happened in fifth grade and I'm just like well I I didn't until just now you brain yeah or something you thought was totally safe you're like I you totally forgot it it's like I cannot believe I just pulled that out of nowhere now my day sucks I shake this off yeah why I dig it nothing like it uhoh one of my favorite uh one of my favorite yes one of my favorite friends one of my close friends uh played bass for the school band Toby yeah pause it go ahead oh no that that was it I was just commenting that cuz I thought she was going to go and say uh uh try to play guitar like in her school band um cuz she was like oh that could work but maybe I was misreading it but it just reminded me of Toby playing base at school yeah and I was going to say that she's trying too hard like there's way too much going on oh yeah yeah yeah the the doubled up on the pins and multiple wristband and what not I mean it's her style okay I thought she had that makeup on that was just her getting scared going in I was like wait what are you wearing no one gave a damn you brought it that was what she was doing just bringing it so someone would say hey join my band [Music] and this is one of the things pause it mhm something that like Social Butterflies don't get um is and this is something that like as someone who's you know was really shy growing up finding out later they're like oh yeah I thought you were a and I'm just like like no I'm just too scared to talk you know so it's like just stuff like this to where it's like no I'm just here existing and so yeah it was it was funny that's actually how um my friends and I this is a little different but uh my friend Lindsay had said that she thought I was a when she first met me and I was like well actually I was drunk and trying to hide it but it's something that I went to I went to my like default like introvert let me just keep to myself kind of thing uh cuz it's what I knew and yeah so it's like hard to just like I'm just going to say hi like I I didn't so that was not a school friend Christine was of legal drinking age yes that was yeah yeah anyways I just wanted to clarify that yeah I didn't think about that sorry [Music] no it's a [Laughter] playground wow wish we could break 30,000 subscribers hit the Subscribe button hit it and hit it [Laughter] good it worked but is it yeah you were in the intro so it that means you're you're taking your first step into a band [Music] now smile does this happen in real life um not necess I mean sort of so it's like she hit the lottery or something like what she wanted even though it's hard for her yeah yeah it's what she wanted all songs have like root notes and then you have all the fills that go go into it and while a guitarist may have written a part specifically a certain way if you if you know what you're doing you can at least take the you know the root notes as you hear the rest of the band Play and Learn to play relatively almost any song relatively uh uh quickly so the idea of asking someone that is talented to fill in isn't that far farfetched the setting my point and how yeah was that you know it's like oh you're just holding a guitar yeah just it's like how can anyone luck out like that well yeah it's your dream yes [Laughter] oh God get out your own head girl oh oh don't no don't be weird I was going to say on the whole thing musicians that that claim to be introverted you'll see like a lot of times vocalists won't necessarily be the one that talk in between uh songs that'll be the guitarist or the basist there's there's a weird thing where where um being on stage is just that that one and only time that they can really just interact with people and as soon as the Music Stops they just kind of go right back into into their shell yeah and I've noticed like um didn't happen often where I was up on a stage um but I feel better on a stage just to talk are like to do like a um like a a church play or something then I do a small group close to me so there's there's different ways they don't even notice you to throw the ball at you oh God it's an interesting setup venues always look weird with the lights on yeah [Music] miraculous happen stance well she needed to find a guitarist it's time to melt their faces off with your extremely awesome guitar skills show them threepiece man that's all you need [Laughter] did they get sponsored by Marshall you can do it don't do that to me you bastards she's never played with anyone but herself I'm sure that's part of it [Laughter] no you just need to practice with them yeah a a okay she's in the trash what um the basis is always right no Bonk okay it's brutal it's good watch mhm going to have I'm guessing a lot to say both of us on different different things what' you think babe judging you very unprofessional yeah I did love the episode um yeah it's the thing about with um like social anxiety you know being an introvert it takes practice you know communicate and I'm surprised no one's told her yet or maybe she's just too in her head to not hear that but yeah I'm just hoping that she gets her practice in and it she blossoms quickly I I hope I hope so too well I mean not too quickly cuz otherwise there won't be a show with with character growth no um I I just I like I like all the little little things in there um things that that not just I can relate to on the like emotional level but even music things you know like I mentioned through throughout the reaction I I I dig that I always always like it when uh entertainment can can connect on multiple levels like that and and and touch touch people's brains uh differently depending on what you're into you know uh Christine doesn't play you you have played in the past but you don't actively play any any instrument um but that is not keeping you from not being able to that's not keeping you from being able to relate to the character the introvert stuff is boom right there for for you so yeah um I'm excited to see what else the show has to uh has to offer um I think it's going to be a lot of
