BMW M8 v Audi R8 v AMG GT 4dr v 911 vs Tesla Model X: DRAG RACE

hi everyone Matt Watson here from kar-wai so I've got an awesome drag race for you today got a bunch of performance cars out of the r8 v10 performance I've got a Porsche 911 Carrera 4s got a BMW m8 competition an AMG GT s for door and a seven-seater eco friendly family SUV and I've got a guest in it a really nice someone who you wouldn't expect to find in such a car no factory color it's yeah me from yeah Nimoy's yes yeah me we have started I'm kind of wondering what the heck you are doing in a big family SUV MPV eco vehicle totally gang I'm a model X before no it's got some impressive stats doesn't it yes 795 horsepower 1140 Newton meters it's heavy two and a half ton talking about way to go but yeah I feel good so I'm a bit annoyed that you are losing weight because your reaction times always better than mine so do you fancy KFC on my cheat day not today though the fact shaima's bring it bring it I'm ready for you guys man anyway let's move on to our other guests it arrived from removed before right and he's bought along his own AMG so whereas tell us about your car mate it's got AMG's 4 litre v8 in its most powerful form ever so we've got 640 brake and 900 newton meters going to all four wheels with mercs 4matic plus so really serious beast here today you're bragging about your numbers but he's still way off journey in his blooming family-friendly SUV think nobody really cares about your Annie's car we've got exhausts at least you know so it's gonna be even more embarrassing when I leave you both on a flat line yes they could be embarrassing so this car five point two liter naturally aspirated v10 620 horsepower it's got 5 JT Newton is a talked 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox lose control Quattro four-wheel drive mid mated engine should have good traction off the light and we got the m8 so that has a 4.4 liter twin-turbo v8 it's got 625 horsepower it's a little bit less than the AMG GT 4-door 750 Newton metres of talked sits down on talked as well but I know that thing launches really well four-wheel drive yet again 8-speed Auto it's an impressive car it's heavy nineteen hundred and sixty kilos heavier than this because this is sixteen hundred kilos as is the other yellow car here today Porsche 911 Carrera 4s now may seem down on power with its three litre flat six twin-turbo 450 horsepower and 530 Newton meters of torque but boy I know right amazing did you actually get a good run I actually got a half-decent one it's a bit shaky at the start but yeah pretty good that BMWs no joke the fanboys must have loved that car what about the Porsche I wasn't even watching what Porsche so then what exactly happened while the Audi did the standing quarter mile in ten point seven seconds the BMW took 11 seconds the Tesla eleven point one seconds the AMG eleven point two seconds and the Porsche took eleven point four seconds now we can have a rolling race fifty miles an hour all the cars in comfort mode its cruising along I'm gonna count it in Ryan guys you ready yellow balls so here we go three two one go keep down oh no Rises on it oh hold a mug laughter all the chat finally can this alright catch him I'll get killed now here we go can I catch him can I catch him well who actually won something yeah at least give me the chance to get past is too busy celebrating no I know your game let's do it locked in third gear all right now we can have a rolling race causing sport setting locked in third let's do it okay you ready guys here we go three two one go this picked up so well that Tessa's God those say that IMG see when they come past me BMW a hundred marker 105 here we go come in passing any now [Music] [Applause] tasers RV that BMW did the job did the Porsche ever get past you what Porsche now a lot of you might be saying I should have had the Porsche Panamera Turbo he hybrid kind of but I've done quote more times than that and the Panamera and they're about the same and I've just wanted a sports car really so maybe push it let me one of the GT cars to race finally then we can have a break test from 70 miles an hour when we hit the line full emergency stop see what happens I'll seal it alone you see the changing surface there it is get ready come on what's gonna happen Oh Porsche did he cut that up it look good though he definitely copped it off as last time we did a break test between an r8 and this Barry 911 it beat the Audi I can't see how Roz did he beat all of us mate do you reckon he cheated I did not cheat do you know what Rhys I'm gonna give you that one I can't tell from where I was I'm surprised by that Tesla so then what was the overall result well in the end the Audi won the drag race the BMW win the rolling race though you could argue that Tesla actually did if we're talking about how fast you could actually drive legally on the road and the AMG when the brake tests so something for everyone well apart from Porsche fans listen thank you very much for watching this
