BMW M5 f90 ( G30 ) 2022 Facelift Retrofit part 2

welcome back this is the second video in which i will finish retrofitting this amazing bmw m5 in last video i have modified the wiring i have on the module on the car so now i will clean the car and i will start mounting back new parts on this car still i need to remove this shock absorber the central air duct and the two lateral air ducts because they are different and with this occasion i will have more space to clean this car this impact absorber is the easiest part to remove next step to remove the central iron duct i need to remove this bracket for the radar to remove this bracket from the radar i have here then a screw t30 but before that i need to remove this part from here so this have a 10 millimeter screw down here and another one here now i'm able to remove this part next i have access to the t30 screw from here now these two screws from here now i can remove this support next step i have four screws with eight millimeter and two more plastic clips here and now i'm able to remove this iron tanner i need to unplug the radar and heat the dome and now i'm able to remove this wire tunnel this higher tunnel i have a screw here is with eight millimeter and from underneath here i need to squeeze these tabs like so and pull the tunnel and now i will be able to remove this air tunnel like so and this one is identical only in mirror i need to squeeze this tub and like so this is removed at this moment i will start to clean all this junk from here i will remove this dirt from this radiator and on this side the same so so so [Music] so so so okay everything gets clean now it's a pleasure to work on this car [Music] so so now i will start to want everything back first i will start with the central iron tunnel and this one from here this is the old one this is the new one there are some differences here in the corner they are different down here the neon is different here is different because the bumper is different next the fire tunnel you can see the difference between these two tunnels [Music] there are some minor difference because i repeat the bumper it's different look here and now the best resistance the headlights on the headlights i need to be very careful i have this clip here that will catch on this tub under the headlight i have that clip there that will fall in that hole and here behind the fender i have this clip here this is from the headlight this piece from here from the headlight will catch in this clip so i need to be very careful not to destroy them okay for the moment i will leave the screws loose i won't tighten them because after i will mount the bumper i will perfectly align the headlights with the bumper with the fenders with the hood and after that i will tighten all the screws and on this side the same i will mount this beauty on the car okay now with the headlight mounted i will on the support for the kidney grilles this big piece here i have this clip i need to align it with this ball from here and on the other side is the same and now i need to close the clips something like that so at this moment i have a small problem with some parts for example the bracket for the radar i don't have it and because of that i have mounted back the old iron tunnel because this bracket won't fit the newer tunnel and in this case the radar will be a little bit higher and back and the same with the impact absorber the impact observer was ordered a week ago and when they have come to receive the part they have informed us that the parts have been destroyed in the process of transportation so they ask us to make another order so i don't have another week to spare so at this time i will mount back the old impact absorber i'll do some modification to feed the new bumper and when all the parts will be available someone else could easily remove this bumper and replace them here i have the new bumper and the old bumper off camera i have mounted all the parts on this bumper new harness new parking sensors and this is the old impact absorber the impact absorber fit perfectly in the bumper because it's for this bumper you can see it here here this is made to fit perfect this bumper and the new bumper is very different inside here and the old impart absorber won't fit perfectly and because of that i think i need to cut a small piece from this part and the other side the same to temporarily fit this bumper until the new part will uh will be available and the last thing i need to move these sensors from the old bumper to the new bumper yeah much better okay now i'm able to on this back i need to prepare this time to plug back the radar and the heated dome for the reader [Music] [Music] and now with careful i will mound the bumper first i need to align the bumper like that and i need to make sure that the under curve shield will enter inside the bumper that side is perfect and now this side something like that chief okay now i'll run the kidney grills first time to mount back the front view camera and now i will align the hood with the kidney grilles and the headlights this is perfect if this is perfect i will put all the screws back and now i will check the headlights to see if i need to make some adjustments this is perfect now i need to mount back these covers because here in front i have this seal and this seal will push the hood so perfect okay now here i will double check if everything gets tightened everything is perfect everything gets plugged the headlight parking sensors now i will mondo will arch and now from this side if the car is rised up i will put the screws underneath the bumper and on this side of the seam and check the plugs with this screw everything is in its place okay i'll move back the wheel arch [Music] now i will explain you how this car was coded to do this first i will connect with the car s15a the ip is correct connect f090 next read the fa activate the fa read the acus now i need to save the fa i'll save it okay i did fa here calculate the fp from here i need to change the manufacture date from 0 7 2018 to 0 7 2020. okay save back yes now with the new date i will find the headlights flm to the 43 address flm 244 and from here i will select detect caf i will select one okay and after that i will code it depending of the headlights most of the times they will need to be programmed first and after that they will need to be code next step i'll go to the bdc right click read coding data save save yes close and after that you will go here right click edit fdl and here in the fdl i have changed some parameters but for example most of the codings will be done in this folder this is the biggest one edit fdl and here as you can see i don't have the translation because i don't have the necessary information to translate this caf but i have a good friend of mine that have the information have the necessary knowledge and on this car he have done the coding for me and he have changed all these parameters and after that i need to save this cfd go back select cfd and hit code fdl and at the end everything is okay and this car don't have any error fault memories zero finally this car is done everything is perfect and for this little video complete the rear tail lights will need also to be replaced but on this car they have already been replaced by someone else and they are looking amazing of course for these tail lights there need to be some wiring modification also and of course in the instrument cluster i have no errors everything is working perfectly no notification and finally this car is done
