dogs all right start from here okay create sort of a u-shape okay and then tightly squeeze the tighter you squeeze the easier it is to twist okay whoa now we are going to create another u-shape all me blippi and today i'm at the hands-on children's museum in olympia washington and i am so excited because this place you get to learn so much let's go oh come on oh hey i was just using this telescope to see some really cool things whoa whoa speaking of cool look at this wall wow there's a lot of pumps and pushes the air through these tubes and check this out [Music] let's take a green handkerchief put it right in here oh it's a scarf ready oh there it is shall we do it again but this time let's turn this and now it's gonna take a different path because it blocked the air from going the original path ready three two one [Music] that was fast okay let's go right over here and try a different color like this yellow scarf and this orange scarf ready three two one [Music] under the leg yellow and orange what is this this is where you can build a rocket ship and then on the other side blast it off all right first we need this wrap around one piece of white paper yeah here we go yeah and then we take a piece of tape tape is really nice to tape two pieces of paper together just like this you can also use glue but glue sometimes gets a little messy so this time we're just gonna use tape all right now we have the body of the rocket okay now we need to make fins just like this let's see here how do we do this i don't know all right let's cut them it used to be a big rectangle and now i'm gonna go like this we made a triangle okay now let's fold it like that okay there's one now now we have another triangle yeah okay fold that now we can tape these fins on the body of the rocket that tape is really tough okay okay there's one fin how does that look really good then we'll do a fin on the other side there we go yeah how does that look that looks really good now we need to do the nose cone we can use the same piece of paper all right so it looks like we do a little circle but then we go like this it's kind of a circle on one side half circle and then makes a point so then it looks like you roll it up just like that perfect now we can take this whoa we're almost done all right now let's tape this to the rocket my rocket doesn't look that good but we'll see how it flies let's also take some of these from previous people and maybe one of these will fly really good just in case if mine doesn't fly this one looks like it might fly really good we'll bring this right over there okay this is the launch pad so first thing you have to do is put it right on the launch pad all right this is the rocket that i made and then we need to pressurize it [Music] there we go all right and this is the launch button i'm gonna launch it five four three two one whoa oh we did it yeah good job that was the rocket that you and i made all right and remember that rocket that we grabbed from the recycling bin let's see how good this person's rocket goes all right okay ooh that's on there nice and snug gotta pressurize it t minus five four three two one zero oh hey look maybe that's why it was in the recycling bin that's so silly hey come on whoa this looks like an art studio whoa and check that out that looks like a homemade robot that's pretty cool yeah that is art because someone made it even a sink so then you can wash your hands you might get a little dirty in the art studio this area is really cool because it has hot glue guns they're turned off right now but it melts this glue really hot and then you can glue things like that really quick whoa hey look at these these are art pieces that other kids made wow they look so beautiful and so colorful let's keep exploring wow i love creating things oh oh hey hi how are you my name is brynn that's a nice name welcome to the makespace oh the make space whoa what do you do at the make space here we can make all sorts of arts and crafts we can build robots we can do some painting we can even do some drawing and coloring whoa that sounds like fun do you have an art project that i can do we sure can would you like to build a crown oh sure this right here you can take that and go ahead and decorate however you would like it all right thank you so much bye-bye all right let's make a crown together wow all right so let's take this and it looks like we take these yellow things and wrap it around her head oh wait it's not big enough wait a second i have an idea let's take this stapler and staple two together just like that and now it can definitely wrap all the way around my head so let's make sure it's the correct size perfect there we go there we go now i have some extra that i'm going to take a pair of scissors and cut off the extra yeah see now it's a circle and this will fit on my head yeah just like that all right let's put the extra back in here and now we're gonna use all of these things to decorate so let's put the stapler back and now let's take this marker and color some blue squigglies on it yeah that looks really nice [Music] yeah what other color maybe a purple marker and we'll do some squigglies but the other opposite way whoa and we'll go and then this side will do zigzags wow down the middle and we'll do some black whoa this is looking so good there we go okay now we have some yellow things that are uh nice and soft that tickled me okay let's put some yellow things right here just like that see that yeah this is looking really good good job okay there's another one wow we will do a third one perfect go remove those like that all right how is this looking really good i bet i know one thing that's missing i think it's missing a flower okay i'll put that right is a tie-dye shirt and today you and i are gonna make a tie-dye shirt wow it's so colorful let's list all these colors up top there is the color blue yeah then below that looks like it's the color pink or red pinkish red and then we have yellow like the color of the sun and then we have orange at the bottom do you see it whoa this shirt is so groovy all right let's go get some supplies and make our very own tie-dye [Music] shirt [Applause] check it out we have all the materials and supplies we need to make our tie dye shirt all right we don't need this because we're gonna make one so first you start with a white t-shirt yeah like this see and then you take a die yeah let's see a fabric die this is the orange fabric die this one is red this one is blue this one is purple and this one is yellow and then we have some rubber bands and you tie the shirt really tight then you spray the dye on it but you have to wear your gloves or else your hands are gonna get stained i don't want that and then we have a bag for later i'll show you what that's all about and the water okay so first step we need to get the shirt wet just like that let's get it nice and wet wow that water's really cold okay squeeze out all the water wow we're so strong all right and then let's lay the t-shirt out on the table yeah and the cool thing about tie dye is you can do so many different designs and it's all about how you twist and crunch the shirt and wrap the rubber bands around it so let's uh let's do a swirl i love swirls yeah kind of like ice cream swirls i love ice cream okay here we go so you just twist it swirl it oh perfect wow i am so excited to pick the colors okay there we go and then you have a nice bunched up shirt you could even punch it but i chose to swirl it and then you take these rubber bands and wrap them around the top and the bottom of the shirt just like this yeah this white shirt is gonna be so colorful all right there's two rubber bands here is three rubber bands perfect this is looking so good and then there's the fourth rubber band wow will you count to four with me ready one two three four good job all right now we get to pick our colors but remember let's put on our gloves okay here we go one glove [Music] two gloves one two all right let's see we have a lot of colors i know i think i'm gonna choose two colors my two favorite colors do you know what colors they are yeah i bet you do yeah blue and orange all right here's the two colors and then take the caps off and then you get to squirt the shirt in whatever way you want i'm gonna squirt some blue right there i'll skip some and squirt some blue right there how about some blue right there and some blue right there wow the shirt was all white but now what color is it yeah there's two colors blue and white yeah all right let's give it a little more [Music] all right so then the other color like i said is orange so let's squirt that white and get it nice and orange there we go wow we are doing so good there we go perfect wow amazing wow this looks so good do you see it we have blue and orange all right set that down and now you take big plastic bag and put the shirt in there and close it up and now we get a weight but you have to keep it in here for at least six hours you can even do it up to 24 hours if you wanted to the longer you keep it in this bag the darker and more vibrant the colors are gonna be i think we should probably wait eight hours so [Music] let's wait we're almost done waiting but i think what we should do is mix two colors and see what color it makes first let's take our blue whoa do you see that whoa that's awesome wow blue water and then let's take how about red hopefully it doesn't spill on me because i don't have my gloves on anymore all right here we go blue and red whoa what color is that i have my mixing tongs [Music] wow yeah blue and red make the color purple whoa let's put a little bit more red in there wow now it's a dark purple whoa that's fun okay well i think our t-shirt has been in here for long enough it's been about yeah multiple hours so now i'm gonna go take this to the sink take the rubber bands off and rinse it off and then i'm gonna go put it in the dryer i'll be right back okay [Music] wow this is awesome our shirt is complete wow all right here it is do you see it wow yeah it's blue and orange can you see how it where i swirled it right about there wow it's so cool time to try it on [Music] wow how do i look that was awesome i love making tie dye shirts [Music] i sure do love tie-dye shirts whoa maybe now at home you are at the glazers children museum in tampa florida this is gonna be so much fun let's go at this room there's so many great things to play with like in the water look oh and look at this this is the port cargo crane when you push this button the crane takes the cargo across the bay like in real life bye-bye cargo look at this it looks like a model suspension bridge and there's balls right here you put the balls in the tube whoa the balls made it to the end on the track just like cars [Music] look at all these toys a yellow toy a blue ball a green and yellow boat and a fish i like this [Music] fish are tasty to eat and they're pretty healthy and look a scuba diver gotta put on his mask and his regulator and the air tank allows him to breathe under water like [Music] [Applause] this that looked like so much fun speaking of fun look at this it's a screw that's halfway in the water and out of the water so when you turn it it brings water to the top and water when it reaches to the top it comes out of the spigot and then it turns the wheel wow this place is so much fun and what's this right over here [Music] looks like there's a button what happens when you push the button whoa it's like a manual pump that i'm controlling three two one okay let's go check out what else they have it's another suspension bridge model and look at what it is it's a model car so it's time to go racing count me down three two one [Music] here we go we did it let's go it's a telescope whoa oh whoa whoa what's up here come on [Music] this is a cruise ship simulator ring forward backwards [Music] this is so cool and look there's sand over here whoa there's a bunch of sand toys come down here gotta scoop it up check this out real close okay let's go find a place to dump it then it comes out the bottom knees turn the sand wow is really cool it's like an anchor right here look you gotta dig it up like it's treasure whoa like an anchor that connects the to the boat and then you throw it off the board of the boat and then it lands in the bottom of the ocean and keeps the boat stable and in one place in the middle of the ocean [Music] and then i went to the music of the world exhibit look at us we banged on drums really hard and then we banged on the drums really softly and then we banged on the drums hard again [Music] [Music] it's a supermarket come on let's get some groceries first we gotta go get a grocery cart whoa here we go what kind of groceries should we get let's get some cereal okay and for lunch let's get some let's get some lasagna yum i love lasagna and cinnamon grams some ice cream cones for dessert oh yes and some vegetables i love the produce so healthy like oh pepper let's do let's do the green pepper and a red tomato a carrot some corn yum what's over here banana bananas are tasty and healthy orange it's an orange that's orange and we can also use an apple and a pear yum and we can't forget about our diced tomatoes and let's see what else hmm what else should we get spaghetti rings [Music] yeah spaghetti rings and some more spaghetti rings and some more spaghetti rings okay now that we have all of our groceries let's the bakery we can't leave you'd like peppers okay let's put on some green peppers okay there's another one okay let's see would you like pepperoni yeah let's put on some pepperoni let's put three slices of pepperoni one two three okay look at it i think i could use some more toppings like mushrooms yeah i love mushrooms two three and black olives yum okay all right look at the pizza it looks so tasty whoa i'll put it in the oven all right gotta wait a little bit okay it's done okay let's go over here and let's serve it to the people here you go enjoy the pizza what's over here this yeah is where you can order at what it is whoa it's a rock wall it's a wall that has a bunch of rocks on it that you grab and hold on to and step onto so then you can go across this whole wall without touching the ground made it good job oh what's this there's a few animals like the turtle turtles are really slow and a dog and a rabbit and a parrot parrots are fast i wonder what you do on this i'm gonna push the rabbit i
