Hello, I'm Chicha. This time, I made a face with sculpting and retopology, so I made a woman's face through texture painting with a UV map. Retopology can be quite cumbersome and tricky for complete beginners to do It might be a complicated process, but I hope it helps beginners. . Press the a key and delete the items on the start screen with the Del key. Press Shift + A to make a UV sphere. Press Ctrl + Tab to enter sculpt mode, set the voxel size to 0.01, and make a butterfly x. Mirror the axis Create a large shape on the face with the elastic deform brush Check the position of the eyes, nose and mouth and make it with the Draw brush I don't care about the details because it will make a big lump on the basic face Just make something like a human face If you work on too much detail from the beginning, something that doesn't look like a human may come out. If you hold down shift and rub, the smooth brush is applied to make the face smoother. For the draw brush, hold down Ctrl and rub If you go in and just rub it, the face will protrude . Use the crease brush to clearly capture the part where the line will be. I think I use the three most: elastic deform brush, draw brush, crease brush . When looking at the nose, dig in carefully while looking at the shape of the front and side. Outline the eyes with a draw brush . Once created, press the control tab to go to object mode and create a UV sphere, press S to adjust the size and position it appropriately Eyes Rotate the rotation by 90 degrees on the x-axis so that the pupil part faces the front. Dig the eyes according to the shape of the eyes and refine the eyes with the elastic deform brush . Align the eyes and continue rubbing while giving volume to the entire face Rotate and rub so that the cheekbones or cheeks do not protrude too much Keep rubbing while clearly shaping the shape with a Chris brush in the middle Remesh it by lowering the size a little so that you can dig out a little more detail . I draw or create a person who resembles me. So I think it's best to create or draw a lot of images of faces that are the standard for pretty faces and get used to it. So I don't normally look in the mirror . Make the ears by creating a cylinder to make the neck. Everyone's ears look different, so I think you can just make them like ears. Cool the ears with a draw brush. Material on the pupils to preview the impression of the face. After selecting the face of the part that will be the pupil, create a new material and apply it. Continue to touch the details to improve the completeness of the overall face. I have been working in the game industry for quite some time, and as a modeler or original I've seen a lot of people having a hard time making a face. In the game industry, it's not that difficult because you always have to create something to suit someone's needs . Whether the target is a user who enjoys playing games, a director, a company representative, or a person in charge of publishing. No matter how well an individual worker thinks he made it, no one else will like it. Of course, there are people who are good at everything. I just envy them a lot, but let 's practice hard . I think it works. You have to have a calm personality and you need a lot of persistence. I really admire the modelers. When you think that the face sculpting is finished to some extent, go to Object and create a plane. Go to Snap and select Face Project . Go to add-on and check if mesh f2 is activated. If not, check it. Go to modifier Modifier Properties, do Mirror, and then check Merge and Clipping. If you activate merge, vertices are automatically attached according to the distance . You can create it first and then press the f key to add facets, or you can select the middle vertex for a face and press the f key to create faces one by one . I'm working on it, but it can be very difficult for those who aren't familiar with it . For beginners, it's important to fill in the noodles first, so it's better to learn by making them once in a while . If you press shift and rub with a brush, the face will be spread out beautifully. It's hard, but keep going. Go to Modifier Properties and apply ShrinkWrap to attach the face to the sculpted face. With a subdivision surface As much as the faces are divided, it gets closer to the sculpted face. Continue adding faces to complete the Retopology. Now, the UV map will be stretched out, so push it out to see if the vertices that are facing each other are well attached . Select an edge and press alt to divide the UV face. Select the part Go to the UV tab and press the mark seam Then the selected edge parts will be marked in red Go to UV editing and select all and press Unwrap to unfold the surface After setting the desired size and name for the map, alt + Press s to save . I didn't save, so I blew it up. Now, go to material Properties, create a new material, and rename it. Click the dot of the base color below and change it to an image texture. Icon that looks like the picture next to it. Click to connect to the UV map you made earlier. Now, let's color to your heart's content. It would be nice to paint the face as if you were putting on makeup on your face . Let's color while adjusting the intensity appropriately Select the eye by pressing the alt key , then color the pupil. Let's paint it however you want . I 'll make the hair. I'm thinking of just making a few strands . Go to Geometry, select the object tab , press the object eyedropper and take the circle you made in advance with the eyedropper , the path will change to a circle shape . You can edit while going back and forth, so let's create hair by pulling vertex to your heart's content. Make a material and apply color. You can change the size by selecting a point and pressing alt + s. It can be rotated. After selecting the whole, it can also be rotated. Later, I will take a detailed video of making hair with curves. Press shift + d in object mode to make a copy. Continue copying and repeat pulling and pulling vertices in edit mode to create hair. While I'm making it, I'll try making eyelashes using curves. The way to make them is the same as making hair curves . If you make a lot of eyelashes with curves, they might look disgusting like Grima, so I 'll make just a few strands and attach them to look good. I'm going. Then, I'll finish this video here .
