Blackwater septic system for my camper part 1

hello everyone my name is David and Happy Father's day everyone today is Father's day yesterday my son Aaron and I spent the day putting in a black water septic tank for my camper and we used our Kubota tractor which I love I use it all the time my son's always picking on me dad you took my tractor from me I don't get a chance to ride it anymore well we used it to dig out the holes here for this now we're using two 55 gallon barrels drums and three inch pipe for this here and we're doing a leak test right now we filled these up with water all right we have one small leak over here on the back side we're going to fix that here in a moment now on top of this we're going to run a 90 up and then we're going to put a t in across there and we're going to put a clean out cap which is this thing right here we're gonna put a clean out cap in there and so I can run a hose from my black water Outlet right here down to here now we filled this up with water like I said because you have to fill them up with water before you backfill it and you have to leak test it now right down here at the very bottom there happens to be a little bit of a leak but it'll be fine we're going to fix that here in a moment now also in here there is a 90 that comes up as this one drains into this and fills up this one like I said it's gonna be 110 gallons right here and then counting the three inch pipe which is 0.36 gallons per per foot so every three feet it holds a gallon of water and this is four inch pipe which holds a half a gallon of water per foot and these are six foot so that's two gallons per per field per pipe now you can see over here the water is because we've already leak tested it the water is draining into the field now it has this is French drain it has holes on the side and holes in the bottom and we wrap felt paper around the pipes there's felt paper under the Rock to hold the rock keep it from going into the dirt and disappearing on us you put two feet of rock underneath and then you wrap felt around the pipe and it'll help keep your drained it keeps the rock out of the pipe the felt paper does and then we'll put two feet of rock over top of it and we'll put felt paper over top of that and then we'll backfill it fill those holes back in now we're going to run 30 more feet of pipe because we're going to have another clean out up here where the power box is we're going to put a clean out up there so we can drain my son's RV and anybody else who comes over here to visit and they have campers which they do they'll be able to drain there uh black water tanks into this so that's what that's all about all right so this is easy to do it only took us a little while we spent I think four hours yesterday doing that but everything had to set up all right so like I said this see this is good and wet down here so it is working it is leaking there it is you know going into the remaining field all right so just wanted to give you a little heads up this is part one we're gonna finish doing all this I got to move all this dirt out of the way start backfilling this after you know we get more rock in here and we'll get us filled in we're gonna start back filling from here come back this way and backfill it all in and the reason like I said earlier you fill up the barrels of water so when you backfill it doesn't crush the barrels all right so this will be the end of part one like I said uh please hit the like button And subscribe it helps my Analytics leave a comment let me know how you feel about these videos and we have future projects in the works we are going to put gutters on our deck up here with rain barrels on each end that's the next project we're doing and there my finger in the video again I have a habit of bad habit of doing that and like I said we're going to put gutters around the deck and two rain barrels on each end to catch all the rain water because there's a lot of it and then after that we have a pool with a deck around that and then we have a driveway to put in and then later a barn down here in the field and then a greenhouse that goes out front so many projects in the works all right so like I said Happy Father's Day to everybody and this is part one and I'll catch you later please leave a comment like I had mentioned And subscribe and like have a good day
