this is a classic Malaysian restaurant buffet style the best of the best and we're just gonna try everything out so these are all foods that I've never tried before in Malaysia we have stingray fish [Music] it's like there's a lot of bones in between Susu Susu Susu the thing in Filipino is do so and soo so mean two different things right you so there's a specific technique you have to do were didn't you didn't double dip I gotta use the cucumber oh yeah so no it's not spicy whatsoever but in the Philippines Filipinos are very used to it but go on coming from the states I'm having from California it's from Ireland it's a very foreign taste to us we have a sensitive tongue when it comes to fishy stuff so for me it's a very salty fishy taste with Java it's kind of to each his own type of thing do you like it no yes she sees she seems to love it it's buddy what do you say about it yeah this one looks spicy this next one you can see all the chilies in there [Music] that is spicy avocado spice that's the spiciest thing I've tried in Malaysia since our trip started my tongue is alone because I eat spicy food for breakfast lunch and dinner so it's very rare but hey something that's spicy in this I could taste it on the Barry I really like that's really good that's my favourite thing like I would put this sauce on everything [Music] spicy but spicy foods it's so healthy the fermented shrimp with like onions and dip water real water that's like one of the strongest things I've ever tasted in my life oh my gosh that like exploded flavor or you can can you smell that from my mouth right yeah now you have to try it [Music] [Music] my mom's here she's a straight-up needed from the native from the mountains and she loves my god that's so good I mean once again it comes to you know guess where we come from in the food that we're used to eating this is really strong how would you explain this [Music] last but not least more durian that's that I think that's the theme here Malaysia that's what people kept telling me to eat so this is everything's fermented too I noticed this is fermented during it kind of looks like spinach I like the yellow the yellow come on say Kate I just flashing let's try it out guys no get it out of here you can get the taste out with this they warned me as if Oh spicy okay be careful it's not a tear that before this particular one very interesting this is the most interesting and I need this is the thing they warned me most about they're like no don't put too much no don't eat visible it might be weird but now this is good all right Oh the last finger I don't think I've ever had this we have a coconut rice oh wow that looks very interesting he said it was coconut rice all right my mouth is burning I can't really taste in the mouth that's really gonna be potatoes another it's it'll flush out it's coconut rice it's really good spicy you know what I'm like a little crispy fish on that as well take goddess mild well I
