I know Bisi's 911 has been everywhere, but if you haven't seen it before, they do a pretty good run through of it here.

TIL Bisimoto is not some JDM company.

I really, really like that paint job. The quality and color is phenomenal. Also, I’m usually not a fan of wide bodies because the rivets, to me, look cheap. But this one does it right by having it all in one piece.

I love it. I feel like people who buy/build Porsches actually drive and respect the car for what it is and its purpose.

amazing machine. I see bisimoto in any video title, I end up watching it. I like his tech approach to the styles.

Does anyone remember the bisimoto header drama that happened a while back? Where he sold knock off pieces for custom prices? I mean yeah that was a while ago but it was still super shady. https://www.clubintegra.com/forum/threads/8-pages-of-bisimoto-drama-after-people-find-out-they-got-ripped-off.73305/

Ummm is it just me or is Leno asking a question about a particular part of the car and Bisi's response is completely about something else. Is it just me?

I actually saw this car on Sunday at Larry Chen's popup workshop. It is an amazingly clean build. Now I wish I'd stuck around to hear it start up and drive away too!

I find Jay's lack of enthusiasm disturbing. Also how he interrupts guests just to relate.

[Applause] [Applause] the vehicle featuring today 1975 Porsche 911 so far from stock as to almost be ridiculously this car was built by a shop in Ontario California called BZ moto you know this is the kind of story I love I love these American Dream stories where people come to America they pick up the culture they assimilate very quickly and they make fantastic vehicles like this let's meet BC the owner come on in good to see you my friend good to see you old you have you been good to see ya you can't find a Giri if you see absolutely just flew in a moment it just flew and power go already sorry but no it's good I mean it's I love these kind of stories who people come here with basically nothing and they start new and just through hard work yes sir I know you're an engineer say I mean he's a very clever guy and you've built some amazing vehicles we featured one on well the future two of them on the CNBC show but you'll see that later we're gonna deal with more of the technical aspects I wonder this and because this is the first car you built correct this is my first Porsche offering that's German in nature and I've always loved the beauty of the classic 911 right you know with the with the our our layout rear engine rule drive and it's just so iconic but Jay I'm an advocate of new technology so I combined it to I took the beautiful classic 911 and infused it impregnated it impregnated it that almost with new technology he said all right well let's where do you want to start the front the back you want to start at the brakes and work our way back we just talked to be very front that's something as simple as the optics so write something that you wouldn't see on an auto 911 right or daytime running lights right so I have this company 911 design 911 headlights to be exact and they have this modern optics mm-hmm with beautiful I mean it's at nighttime it lights up the entire road right in a classic aperture so it looks just like factory but has everything you see in a modern Porsche including daytime running lights in the very front okay very good now what why the Drew's fastest so this is initially going to be my race car so in case I haven't about the track I can just put a bumper up very easily that's why these loose fasteners on there but it became so popular driving around this 75 vehicle that hey say you know what maybe give it a bit of a dual duty track n street and you sort of blacked out the logo yes keep a little me I'll make a little mean streak to it okay all right moving back I like this Maris you graded this here my 50 Spyder is he may be recognized very nice throwback to that a very aerodynamic this originally came with the kind of intrusive flag mirrors right I didn't I didn't like the flag marriage at all right so I wanted sometimes more aerodynamic and give a little flare so a little different test and the wheels are what 15:52 these are outlaw wheels you know Magnus Walker yeah great guy this his own design okay 1852 manufactures it for for him so I threw on these 17-inch wheels which are nod to the old Fuchs and they're absolutely beautiful it has a little bit more of a modern take but still is classic enough to be befitting so a chassis and what are the brake so stop tech they have these lose like almost like a pro typesetter from stop tech yeah do their centric division so they are modernized carrera brakes right on this classic 911 so I can have the stopping power it's not boosted it's still manual like then other red one right but does a good job so those are breaks from what year Corral I believe was a 2004 okay Ventus all those it'll Porsche still Porsche very much okay moving back not much change here all this appears to be stuck big a flare yes that is correct these are actually proper 930 flares okay but above and beyond that on the interior I use an RS kit because I want sometimes very minimal mmm-hmm also lightweight but can still give it a feel worse not too racy but just appropriate amount of race touch and scar there were no flares of 75 that's correct okay with the and of course the roll bar is what so this is a six-point cage steam chassis and Signal Hill did a good job and helping us with this you may notice the shifter gives a little bit of way for what lurks underneath the rear bonnet yeah and you'll be pleased to know Jay that once again on my mindset of having something modern the pedal doesn't look like a standard 911 pedal is actually a drive-by-wire pedal and as you can see my tachometer even though it shows 11,000 rpms right I do take it to a redline of 80 100 very nice see I just like the fact you say tackle meter okay let's come on back here and of course now this is not a 911 wing is this is somebody else's or actually you know you know what I loved when I was back in Nigeria I loved seeing the Arab Porsches right so those that used to race in Riverside Raceway that was a little bit close to Ontario but that raceway is long gone right so I wanted something to really give a nice nod to the IROC look but from a form a look like a natural aspirated IROC but have tons of power and just a nice clean line so the front popper IROC this is a nod to the IROC rear wing okay but why does this worry we're in come from is it aftermarket it's aftermarket but it's what's been Eric wing but it okay and I like the way you've integrated this thank you that's all the air intercooler spherical image bigger isn't it much larger oh yes about three times size yeah very good now coming back here this is where the magic happens see these turbos way back here how far are those from you get a bit of lag with these a little bit but you know what we did I use a long tube primary that merges right before the turbo so not so bad at all but you know about I kind of enjoy that early turbo like you put your foot in yes and it comes on and smacks it's very cool well this is very linear if you have opportunity to drive it you see that it's a very nice linear but she can really scare you J these are twin 57-millimeter billet turbine ex turbos okay and they're filtered by AM drive flow filters which are very very user friendly and don't need that much maintenance and at 18 psi of boost guess what she makes I don't know 850 horsepower is 850 850 so have to be careful with her because she'll bites and the transmission takes it oh yes I have a 997 gearbox so something I haven't talked about is once again in my quest for modern technology in an ordered chassis this does have water-cooled powerplant porsche hotel it's one of cooler water cool problems so it does not just the heads not just a head the entire block it has a 900 engine oh nice seven gearbox Wow give it a with it okay hence combining all Porsches modern amenities or drive-by-wire can bus and water-cooled power plants with an order chassis now do you ever run a cover over that and you can but the chicks dig it like this yeah really I'd like to leave it open and show off the boy yeah it looks cool thank you just give it away there's making uh oh we think twice for the boiler all right let's see let's let's open the sounds good I'll protect it okay so this is a water cooled motor but this is just for the turbos that's just an inner corner oh wow exchange Kevin yes so it's pretty large it's pretty nice and your radiators in front radios in the front whose engine do you ever like your water pumps moving the water actually do in between the engine the engine does have its own mechanical pump but I also accentuate that one Electric yeah you need the electric if you're moving at such a dish absolutely absolutely - - I like to watch it is a good job so it's a 3.4 litre mill factory treated crankshaft from Porsche DC motor spec rods traum 9.1 2:1 compression pistons 99.1 to 1 okay so it's a fairly low compression also uses some custom level 2.4 be some other words camshafts cause some valve train as well runs on 91 octane so you have to have any range anxiety but also to be able to keep things safe I run an AM what a methanol kit so what a methanol from the world war two planes that they use when right wasn't what I use that into my twin-turbo Oldsmobile very nice and that I use that too to keep it from detonating and it works fine it looks very wide and - amazing how much water it uses it does quite a bit I have two nozzles - 500cc nozzles yeah and it only comes on at what once you get past four grand something in my case I have a boost dependent so after six psi it comes in and it winds itself to about 1800 nice linear fashion very much I know she of Drew's fastest to take all these pieces yes just in case we have any mishaps it can easily swap it out as you yeah and to protect the engine I'm a huge advocate you know many people know me as an engineer but I'm actually a chemical engineer something very very big with lubrication so I use Purell oils on this 10w 40 which is very nice and then between the gearbox and the engine everything is tied together with an action clutch which allows me to transfer that power very nicely through the factory CV axles so you run a synthetic I run to the pure synthetic no rubbish 4010 to be 40 so she's very she's very enjoyable I have a boost per speed protocol so you don't have the entire 850 in every gear in lower speeds you hover around 500 as you go faster the boost comes up good and gives you a nice transition so it's a little comfortable can we see that radiator absolutely absolutely okay so take a look at the front now these are my prototype I'm always constantly experimenting with this so here she is some a proper fuel cell and Odyssey battery and then underneath is a fan under this gadget so it's not really fun okay and then evacuating from from the bottom and what do you evacuate the air right in the bottom okay so you see this nice little shroud here right that makes sure that the air gets distributed the entire length of the radiator yeah and it back waits underneath and this is a Griffin radiator and my fan is controlled by the AM PM s that I use for all fuel and ignition parameters and that canister there is just a little catch can so in case I have any expansion over water it collects in there and that's your method that's my water methanol wasn't good now you want about 50/50 methanol make 5050 exactly very good di water and pure lab grade metal oh yeah yes okay okay I like the way your battery is mounted as well thank you that's a REM line mount and that that's enough to crank this absolutely so even in very cold weather yeah yeah I know can drop to as much as 70 degrees yeah and look how simple these early 75 yes yeah I mean it's funny 797 thoughts a long time ago yes sir how long have you had this car I built this in 2007 okay so I do have once again on that whole kick of being modern I do have coil overs underneath as well and front and rear our own spec as well now was it's like a really rough just be a Porsche when you got oh I picked up in San Diego it was a silver roller devoid of interior and engine yeah and I wanted to build something that everyone would pay attention to meaning the peers to say what did he do but also the hot rod and Porsche guys say hey that's pretty cool right and this really spearheaded my journey into the Porsche realm and it's been a great journey ever since I just love modern tech and I love classic cars now is this this is not your brake master is my brake master reservoir well now where is your master cylinder well the masterson is underneath the vehicle okay so it's actually directly by the brake pedal is it a dual or a single it's okay thank you so much Jay I appreciate cool cool thank you and we have many more this is my first prototype but nowadays we have clients from all around the world that bring us car some what a nice for them to give them that nice feel of modern technology but still the old-school look now you certainly have that Thank You Jay let's go through the interior again it would shut that front no race anything else we're missing before we take it for a ride seats Momo seats the ECU is right then the bathroom am are people surprised when they find out it's a water-cooled very much so yeah I've gone to a couple of air-cool events where I got kicked out of their cool but Jay it's a joy to drive I look forward to your input on it yeah no I'm excited about Thank You Jay very nice very nice because it doesn't look until you get to the bank as he did turbos what it is yes and have you raced it do you track this a lot I have gone to streets of Willow what's wrong with it but she does a lot of Duty driving around the streets of Ontario yeah yes Southern California very Thank You stock steering rack stock steering rack with ammo mode put a tipo steering wheel right it's a nice feel and that nice elegance to it as well why don't you go about ready to take this thing for a ride what are you find some 918 [Music] [Music] very nice Thank You Jay like good [Music] nicely she gets up what's interesting is visit that first Porsche engine ever built they're ever built all right some wonder I ever built son I hope my teeth in small displacement for cylinders that's why I started brakes again oh thank you sir [Music] what's this way about 2,400 pounds Jay you have to stop it you're exactly correct 2424 even it seems like 24 yeah I was shocked I thought you'd be much heavier and then we had a race in Fontana and I waited well you know you look under the hood and it's just a stamping no mister you know you realize there's nothing much we know biggest thing is probably this roll bar what's that 250 I don't know cuz I didn't weight the prior I just waited complete with uh I'll bet this is uh but this is two and a quarter but at least and then you know with the shell you know singer does those carbon fiber front ends yes that's very nice and Rob that's been work a very good work [Music] I see a lobster boats could catch you out in the corner look but you know what Sookie is tuning people ask me all the time pc what what makes it reliable setup - is everything happening in house Dino loves to really creative things but your AJ I really think that the next level is electrification of these cars we do that is the next level so when I think about modernizing that most likely that's the next thing I'm gonna do is do something really fun give it a something to me the next level is seamlessness integrating it so it literally you know the one the most impressive thing about the mccoy because a lot of people come by with big engine in the p1 you can even notice pretty safe something we're talking about lag this is much better than my no you never drove my 996 but this is pose up much nicer than the other setup that I saw it so much pull the leg just see it's not really lag sir it's not like it's limp and then it goes crazy it's strong and then it gets stronger you know plus it's reasonably Linea so it it come it doesn't want a stove it's not a bunch of a somebody slowly grabbing your arm and squeezing it you know are these oil cool turbos just they are stuff they have a separate all call over the therm Road I use it on music and oil have a scab exposes them and I filtered properly oil temperature begin I barely get into the compound I use is really really good some aerospace stuff and the compound is an absolutely amazing I rarely get it I like the high pitch in the turbo thank you it's not a low you know I mean it seems like it's working it's cheaply efficiently and that's a beaut up having turbos right now that have billets compress a wheel driver J most turn is to terrify to this car I mean it's buried of all the right there anything and we're to three guys in there tell me guys what do you well the engine was blown had a a bad cylinder and a melted piston hence wouldn't run at all when smoking was horrible so I had an opportunity to Reese leave the block get rid of all the aluminum industry itself him you know bad a doctor an iron set of sleeves get the custom from pistons and build my very first six in there Porsche engine what year was the engine it was a 2001 does not Nick Cassell it was when I first got it okay but I got rid of that and I want something more much stronger more robust that can handle the rigors of the type of powers gonna pretty well what's more a reverse indica so I removed the aluminum nickel cell lining and impregnated some touch' iron sleeves in it okay and the technologies are are part they have these buttresses on in or or or I would say why should I say these pillars around it to help keep him away from Siberia remove the original sleigh machine them out but yes machine never seen about completely jaywalker it is your love for cars when did you know use that loving are free that rural areas of those broken mini bikes and lawn mowers you know trucks abandoned at wheels but my dad gave me a break that stripe actor what took it apart at that bottle what's wrong piece of paper stuck between this cylinder that you know that was the head cat's paw I was like naughty Wow it's the staring ranch stock factory volleyball factory from the seventies from 97 I like how much glass area there is something terribly important this somebody bought a car like the Camaros I feel like I'm looking through a letter understood yeah good a disability is co-regent he came as a sunroof and a teammate we cut the top off and put an on top not a sunroof on 9/12 rip on this you don't like the sunroom no it was actually quite heavy Jay yeah they are wheels factory thank you that's a compliment Jay thank you so much very good terrified to even get into the station so house have a bunch of bells built into this if our fuel requirements or tea requirements are not enough the computer does a good job in monitoring not per cylinder and a time in adds something to this change that is drive our wire some people complain that there's a delay we try my wired devices but I try to make as much possible how does a purely in relation to a cable I wouldn't know I couldn't tell it's funny I'm gonna sell McLaren yeah that's got crime barbed wire brakes on I'm gonna mow swear I can feel that it's not even amount of time I could measure I just know it's right well BC I'm very impressed you know I like the fact that it's kind of exactly what it's supposed to do without any excuses no I'm gonna fix that when I get at home or any of that holes nice ass off of the red train and it feels like it has exactly the amount of horsepower you said no people can bet with these crazy numbers on timers and I go that's more like 454 but this really feels like it's a know what you say yeah really strong but not not crazy it rides not pitching to the left or right I mean you can control the horsepower just keep your foot in it just keeps a move on strain it's really really impressive congratulations and thank you you gotta bring something other stuff go while these is for you all right we're gonna go look at this garage see what he has next time thank you guys thanks for watching [Music]
