piercing this very atmosphere you know exactly what's needed and you know exactly how to put your finger on it I thank you Lord God for moving by your power and your spirit your power and your spirit destroy the yokes of the enemy this morning that's on our lives that's over our hearts and our minds thank you for destroying the yoke of bondage this morning in the name of the Lord Jesus deliver your people set us free God and I think you Lord God for holding us to the cross God you see the appetites in it in the atmosphere this morning God you see the appetites that's represented this morning in this place you see the very appetites Lord and I think you got forgetting to these appetites change our appetites this morning thank you Lord Jesus direct our paths direct our feet I think our reading you're hearing the scripture Luke 18 verses 1 to 8 here begins the reading of God's Word and he's making a parable unto them to this end that men ought always to pray and not to faint saying there was in a city a judge which feared not God neither regarded man and there was a widow in that city and she came unto him saying avenge me of mine adversary and he would not for a while but afterward he said within himself though I fear not God nor regard man yet because this Widow trouble with me I will avenge her lest by her continual coming she weary me and the Lord said hear what the unjust judge saith and shall not God avenge his own elect which cry day and night unto him though he bear long with them I tell you that he will avenge them speedily nevertheless when the Son of man cometh shall he find faith on the earth so far the scripture so as we were discussing this morning this chapter begins with Jesus given a parable with emphasis being on or the point being on prayer his discourse points out that men should pray and not to faint or lose heart okay so although he begins on prayer it's worthy to know he ends it on faith persistent prayer is a demonstration of faith in God which we see in first Thessalonians 5:17 it says pray without ceasing it takes faith to continue in prayer to the Lord regarding people situations matters whatever may come it takes prayer I mean it takes faith to not cease in our prayer or give up so she had come the widow had come to him because she was facing opposition as whatever Sri means or opponent specifically when you look into it it's talking about a week a legal martyred matter so the judge refused to do anything about her situation for a while until he decided within himself to do something and the reason why he decided to do something is because he did not want her to weary him or annoy him none of the matter he did something and she went to him knowing that he could do something so after concluding this parable Jesus says do you see what this judge says this unjust judge says he ends it by saying not only will he come to their aid but he'll do so quickly or speedily but by the time he comes will he find faith on the earth and that faith there when you look at it it's saying will he find this kind of persistent faith the faith that he was discussing so what is faith faith is the conviction of the truth of anything as a relation to God is the conviction that God exists and is the creator and rule of all things the provider and the store of eternal salvation through Christ so when we say what is faith we know we always say faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not see Hebrews 11:1 but to read in your hearing Hebrews 11:1 well he was 11 a few verses in amplified version says now faith is the assurance title deed confirmation of things hoped for divinely guaranteed and the evidence of things not seen the conviction of their reality faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses for by this kind of faith the men of old gained divine approval by faith that is with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power wisdom and goodness of God we understand that the world's universe ages were framed and created formed put in order yet equipped for their intended purpose by the Word of God so that what is was not made out of things which are visible by faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain through which it was testified of him that he was righteous upright in right standing with God and God testified by accepting his gifts and though he died yet through this act of faith he still speaks by faith that please God Enoch was caught up and taken to heaven so that he would not have a glimpse of death and he was not found because God had taken him for even before he was taken to heaven he received the testimony still on record that he had walked with God and pleased him but without faith it is impossible to walk with God and please him for whoever comes near to God must necessarily believe that God exists and that he rewards those who earnestly and diligently seek Him so far the scripture okay so we're talking about prayer last week faith this week what does this have to do with tithing because it takes faith to tie it takes faith to give now we know the word says give your tithes bring into the storehouse but if we do not believe God at his if we don't believe God and then believe him at his word we will cease like everything else we won't pray we won't give we won't we won't anything right so why does that matter because we have mountains before us on this table here just faith versus fact right so what's the fact about many of us it takes money to pay bills and live in to eat right where some of us are not employed some of us are employed but not being paid enough some well north or unless your children have rent mortgage car nope do some overdue health issues bills mounting no coverage no health coverage we have children that need to be careful and there the list goes on and this is just talking about on our personal lives right we haven't talked about things that are required with us in the kingdom like giving tithes giving offerings being benevolent getting the property that was promised so we have some scriptures here I won't read all but one of the scriptures Philippians 4 verse 19 says but my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus we have to believe that word Deuteronomy 8:18 but that shalt remember the but that shall remember the LORD thy God for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers at is this day Matthew 10:29 231 it talks about the sparrow and how much more valuable we are than the sparrow we have mountains as I said before us now if we don't believe God or his word will put our mountains over God's word so what that looks like is I have I have this bill and I have that to do and I have this to do do I do that or pay my tithes but that's the word right so we're not asking anyone to do anything ludicrous we're just living by the word pay your tithes pay your tithes give your offerings there's a promise in it but how can we believe God for some big things like getting the property collectively if as a as a body if on an individual basis we have not learned to believe God for ourselves on a personal level right so there's there's believe in God and what that looks like is we believe God for salvation that's the first thing we have to believe God is and believe himself for salvation but outside of that we need to believe God for everything else so what that means is we're challenged throughout our walk everything takes faith right again prayer worship believe in God doing it takes faith so because he knows the frailty of man when Jesus started the arm Scripture he said men ought always to pray always and he talked about the woman going day and night we have a duty we need to always go to God praying and believing him he knows our frailty and he knows that if we don't do this the way he prescribed we will eventually lose heart or give up right so where are we today with our faith when we say have we I believe do we believe or will we eventually believe the Lord will we eventually will take him at his word and when when we say yeah we I'll believe him one day okay so when is that day because some of us have been saved a year but then some of us have been saved 20 years fit when will we believe God the way the word says or the way the scripture says having this kind of persistent faith when will we have that faith and then lastly um or do we believe him do we still yet believe him meaning are you did you start off believing God trusting God and are you still there remember God is not like the unjust judge he rewards our seek right and the seek is not things the seek is him if we seek Him diligently Matthew 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom of God and we can't seek his kingdom without seeking him so if we seek Him and believe him then he will bless that's his promise and he can't lie amen amen so if you'll stand with me be encouraged this morning as you bring your tithes and offerings as we bring in today's tithes and offerings and over and above given we are believing the Lord for jobs and better jobs jobs and better jobs raises and bonuses raises and bonuses resurrected stocks and bronze resurrected stocks and bonds explosive growth in mutual funds explosive growth in mutual funds benefits and settlements benefits and settlements sales and commissions sales and commissions estates and inheritances estates and inheritances gifts and surprises yes and surprises interest and income interest and income rebates and return rebates and return checks in the mail checks in the mail finding money finding money bills paid off bills paid off debts cancel debts cancel royalties receive royalties received old loans paid back old loans paid back multiplication and new businesses multiplication and new businesses we shall finance God's harvest we shall finance God's harvest we will finance the ministries of Rafah we will finance the ministries of bedrock we will bless others and probably support our families we will longevity is going to be held September 19th through the 21st 2019 and I want you to join me if you have been a part of my legacy if I have signed your document anointed you with oil consecrated you amen amen and the new course in the Bible College you've been asking the school of biblical counseling presents biblical pragmatism biblical practicality do biblical principles constructs and ideas work in the real world if so how do we apply them to our daily challenges so I'm encouraging all the counselors anyone who wants to break down the how-tos of living by the scriptures to register for this class and even those of you who say people come to you all the time and asks your advice now you can help break it down okay so this is one of those classes that really will help you and it begins on October 7th at 8 o'clock and we're encouraging you to register for the Bible College this semester everybody goes to school to fall and then love it let's say we start but we also finished pastor seamen's mother she's still in ICU but the tube is out of her mouth her vital signs are strong amen they're just trying to keep the accumulation of fluid on her brain so they're putting a shunt so once the the fluid has gone down then they can start their rehab amen so we're praying for full recovery for this wonderful woman now we do not accept credit cards anymore in the church you either pay online or you pay by cheque and many of you are still putting credit card information on the envelopes it is not safe amen we don't want your credit card information available to anybody now our and I'm gonna read very quickly verses four through 12 that's Nehemiah chapter eight if you really want to know about fasting and what fasting should mean to you did I say fasting how many of you have the people for he was above all the people and when he opened it all the people stood up and Ezra blessed the Lord the Great God and all the people answered amen amen was lifting up their hands and they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground also Joshua and Bane I and Cher abaya and jaemin and a cub and Shabazz I and ho deja and mother CI and Kel eita and Azariah and Joseph bad and Hainan and pail a liar and the levites they better be right and levi's cause of people to understand the law and and and the people stood in their place so they read in the book in the law of God distinctly and gave a sense and caused him to understand the reading and Nehemiah which is the turcica and Ezra the priest prescribed and the Levites that taught the people said unto all the people this day is holy unto the Lord your God more not nor weep for all the people wept when they heard the words of the Lord then he said unto them go your way eat the fat and drink the sweet and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared for this day is holy into our Lord neither be sorry for the joy of the Lord is your strength so the Levites till all the people saying hold your peace for the days only neither be grieved and all the people went their way to eat and to drink and to send portions and to make great mirth because they had understood the words that were declared unto them so far the reading and hearing of God's Word you may be seated I know I have preached from the sticks sometimes many some time ago but I just thought since the Lord pressed it on me I should press it on you okay I love Spurgeon's devotional one of one of the devotional I use dispersion and Spurgeon on his exhortation on how to respond to the Word of God because that's what we're talking today the title is the heart of a true congregant the heart of the true congregants you know the last time I spoke I talked about the fake worshipers the ones who come and act like they're really interested ask questions seek counsel but they already come with their minds made up to do them but now the Lord is saying there's some people were really true in their desire for the Lord not perfect but they have a true earnest desire so this is what Spurs Dan is talking about how should that kind of a person respond to the Lord or to the word he says Jesus summoned it summed it all up when he said man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God the Bible is a marvelous unequalled book in fact is my judgment that somebody should put a warning label on the Bible and maybe it ought to be read like this warning this book is habit-forming regular use causes loss of anxiety decrease appetite for lying cheating lusting hating and stealing symptoms of condition are increased feelings of joy peace love and compassion amen end of quote here we are in the book of Nehemiah and Nehemiah is one of the most reverenced historical book of the Hebrew history they have no qualms atheist agnostic people who are secular historians all acknowledge that if you want to get a true understanding of that period of time Nehemiah is a legitimate credit credit credible account so it's a historical book that describes the rebuilding of the city walls of Jerusalem and it is really centered around this man who decided to take on that assignment so he was a cup bearer you know those of you who work with with pouring the water and many people criticize you for it because they don't understand how key it is that the person who serves the water and serves the person of the king is really a key person because in those days that were poisoned all the time so they have to have somebody who would who were true is trustworthy so when somebody serves you the drink that you're putting in your body they must be trust with was a key position come on cut beers lift up your head anyway nehemiah was a very trustworthy cup bearer and he received this impression this burden you know you don't always get an alarm or some deep prophetic whatever it could be just an imprint impression a burden this this this really this ministry really burdens me you know it burdens me when I see young people straying maybe I can do something to be involved don't need a special title or whatever he just wanted to do to to help build back the safety of his city so he went in took time off he didn't just jump up with his burden and didn't do protocol I know you're gonna like protocol cuz you just go by what you feel you know you feel so anointed you don't have to do protocol well anointing with our protocol is chaos you have to follow the steps he went and asked you know and this is his job can I have some time what's gonna have a leave of absence so I could do this and the King released him supported him and gave him aid and he went and he did this work this tiring work this slow tiring work in the midst of enemies and opposition and he was able to build the walls because the people had one a mind to work so he's building walls and Ezra is building people so ministry in the last couple of decades went on a rampage of building great edifices you know you're a success successful as a size your church as the state-of-the-art equipment as how churches are measured in terms of success but the greatest greatest assignment is to build people because you can have all of that and only have an audience like a theater but building people so Ezra's assignment was to build the people and that's what this chapter is all about you're talking about now exiles coming back from babylonian captivity people coming out of babylon because only fifty thousand came out and they came out in three courses and these people came back while the walls are being built no temple yet they don't have a temple they don't have a church but they're coming back and the ones who opted to come back are bringing their families and these people many of their families many of their children were born in babylon or raised in babylon and they were not familiar to the traditions that they could practice in their homeland they did have religious practices in babylon they had prophets who prophesied to them but there were certain peculiarities like coming together as a community as a whole and practicing the feast and the festivities and the Passover's they didn't have an edifice they didn't have a one location because we used to one location then we used to coming to the temple walking up the steps that's where all the Psalms a 120 first Psalms that were written musically to depict their convocation their gathering rehearsing their tradition so the children could carry on the religion in the next generation so these were crucial things crucial things so here they are coming back trying to build life again trying to build a wall again trying to build their homes again try to build a temple again so Ezra job was to give them the Word of God as their foundation for building this is what you're going to build this is what you're gonna build your family back on this is what you're gonna build your life back on somehow being in Babylon you have to deal with your sins you had to deal with your idols you were down there because you didn't behave well you forgot about God you wanted to be like everybody else so you had to go down to Babylon to get rid of your idols you never say all right little sidebar since you didn't understand that that's it sometime you have to get in it not to want it you ain't convinced you're not convinced that Jesus is enough you're not convinced that he is all that you need so you have to go in it go in it and he allows you to go in it he opens the door he sends mama mama you go hello streamers I say Baba a lot because it is my way of saying that the things that we were taken out of our things of the world that we get attached to and many times God allows us to go and stay in it so we could wake up and find out this is not what I was born to do this is not what God wants for my life I didn't believe it when they told me I didn't want to hear it because I was having I was feeling some kind of way but I am feeling no way right now the only thing I'm feeling is Jesus so you know he brings you he brings you to that point he brings it to that point so they're back now and and they're they're hungry they realize we didn't pass it on right we were in a place where we couldn't get it into our children the way we should we could not practice the tradition of our religion and rehearse it and live it out so that they could be in call Cayden in it so we want to hear it as a matter of fact Ezra didn't do it it says in the first verse of the eighth chapter and all the people gathered themselves together as one man the people call their own church that's a congregation that once God the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water great gate and they spake to either the scribe bring us the book oh my god the Levi's didn't call for him the priest didn't call for the people who is sitting next to you that's sleeping through the whole sermon there is a true cry of a true people don't be discouraged there are people that are crying out hope would you please open the book would you please stop performing and telling those stories in the pulpit will you please stop prophesied all this crack stuff and just or is there a book to be open tell your neighbor there's a book so the paper said to Azra open the book we are missing information we don't have enough information to come back and restore our lives and our community we need information to build back up our religious community and people are not giving us the information but you Israel you open the book we trust you to do so so how did he open the book they've built a pulpit this was the first time pulpit is mentioned in the scripture and it's not you know fancy plexiglass that we have today it's just a nice wooden booklet to accommodate the fact that he would stand higher than the people because that's what happens when you're teaching you have to stand above the people and the people sit at your feet that's the Jewish way of teaching of disciple of giving out information you stand so you could see the audience and make good eye contact jesus said to Peter move the boat out in the middle I want to see these folk that I'm talking to because I want to connect with the people say when to connect with the people say stood up in the pulpit and this is the most beautiful sight similar to the day of Pentecost and the thirteenth stood with him now when it's a confusion about church today nobody's standing with each other everybody got their own book you know you can't go to one church and hear a simple gospel and then trail over here and hear the same thing it's just so much confusion it wouldn't it be wonderful even in here even in if we could all believe the same thing from the book the thirteen stood with him you see there was no other book ladies and gentlemen we have too many books we have too many authorities we have too many places we go for standard and righteousness and truth and the power of God and the character of God but the thirteen stood with him they built it so that it could support leadership and they stood on the platform we have platforms today many people have platform on different you know platforms like internet and you know social media and television but what are we saying that's a problem they stood up and the Bible said he started to teach now he read the law and when he opened the book of the law in the sight he opened the book in the sight of all the people this is good visual connection he opened the book in the sight of all the people he wanted the people to see him hold the book we don't think that that that body language is important everything we do or to make a statement we too we do smart into ourselves we just do what we want to do but there's a certain intentionality in everything that we do with our body with our eye contact with our posture this may be a little storefront Church but this is a cathedral here and everything we do ought to be speak of our convictions that's why we have a communion table that's why we have these little banners that's why we have things to let you know this is that office space the understand we don't gather here just have off this is a place where people come to get answers and to go into the presence of the Lord so you open the book and the people want were attentive they weren't walking there weren't texting through their phone or their watch they weren't texting you they had a Dex oh come on I travel so I know the game let me taste something I can write the book I should write a book big game of traveling in the ministry I know the game pastors sitting in the pulpit crossing their leg playing with your phone because they're bored I don't know why they stay that speaks volumes to the audience that let people know you are not here with us you're not present you want to be somewhere else you want to be on the golf course you want to be with Annie Lou and she's not your wife you don't want to be here because anything that you love your give undivided attention when you're serious there's a certain way you get you walk a certain way to let them know I'm in it I'm in it I'm in this I'm in it all the way you understand I just want you to look at the text real good he openings in the side of the people and and and he started reading and the 13 you know Levites Levites these are men that were consecrated to aid in the religious service they were present yes they weren't missing in action no big Church yet the other Sam no big Cathedral just the people gathering wanting God wanting the book and they showed up you want God we're gonna be here to help you you understand they understood the necessity of being present they understood the urgency of recovering a broken nation and understood the need for preparing a next generation so they show it out this ain't nuts don't gathering to just eat and drink we're shifting the scent of the Babylonian captivity where we're removing the connection from idolatry we're calling repentant people back to the order of things oh come on we going to show up this is why we caught Levites because Levi's show up you have to beg you to sing and beg you to dance and beg you to do sign language and beg you you don't understand those assignments are designed everything is designed to pull people into a deeper relationship with the Lord because people to carry on the purpose of God from one generation to the other we don't have to have no counseling to ask you to continue what are you looking for well what are you looking for a special platform the platform is people are hungry for the world is hungry for this Living bread if the same they're up for all the worlds see that's the only that's the only thing that should turn you on position open door open door open door connection no no no the cry of the people should be the sense of peace of your desire Levi's show up ezra soda had the book open and he began to read began to read now the people had forgotten Hebrew see they're hung around Babylon for 50 years and they forgot they forgot the language that God gave them of how God revealed to them you see they forgot the language and people are forgetting listen young people raised in church they're forgetting young people in church are forgetting there's so much distraction someone's going on thank you for forgetting the language they don't even use the language of the text anymore to describe or articulate their relationship with God they pick up secular language to describe their spiritual experience so we don't know what that is we don't know what that is that could be you talk to a snake it could be and talk to so-and-so it could be you talk to deep marine you don't like to use the language cuz you want to be so connected to the world come on we want to drive babbling out of you we have to talk so that we can reach them I'm telling you how it works right here they forgot the language here Oh Israel the Lord your God is one Lord teach it to them when they get up in the morning they knew what they were saying and Deuteronomy teach it to them when they're walking the way riding over the tour pulse put it on their risk put it on there Florida so that that next generation can pass it on but these 12 stones right here what are these stones mean that they need a point of reference never to forget and the way to forget is to be introduced to babylonish language Babylonians activity and whatever so here they are they're standing there and he's reading and they don't understand what is it because they had started speaking Aramaic in Babylon two different languages that's why when you go to certain churches you have to preach a little longer anila harder because the language of the text is no more familiar they're not even familiar with the Bible anymore so you got you got to stand there and start from a then you go to be it's you gotta go in the alphabet you'd be surprised in a big church it's large churches prominent people and you suddenly realize they don't know what you're talking about so you got to stop it's right here and start dealing with some basic stuff this means that Jesus is Lord he's God in the flesh Oh y'all think I'm lame I'm very serious same thing happening so what happens the Levites I don't know if they did it you know one of the time or they went into little small groups and huddle so if Ezra read something then he probably paused and then the Levites now spoke to them in Aramaic interpreted the Hebrew into Aramaic so they could say Oh under no use opening the book if there will not be any understand we're wasting time impressing people with all kinds of theological phrases which are necessary for the faith but they don't understand we're talking about sanctification is an ancient word it's almost an anachronism it just doesn't fit in to anybody's mind in popular religion so you've got to stand there and break down the necessity you understand when you have a 3 minute 5 minute sermon no it becomes an hour so I agree so long it's a preacher that teach and a stop and a pause and then what it's a work cuz you're talking to people who are clueless to the privilege of their relationship with God o generation that sits there clueless to what you're talking about how does that have to do with me what does that mean what does that text mean that's why they don't like the Old Testament and they barely know the new Ezra started from early in the morning until after 12 o'clock and y'all would die y'all would die and they stood - some of y'all would faint cuz you can't hardly do anything without sitting in your seat while we ask you to stand up it's painful and when you sit down you're plop cuz you're so angry to have this these people were so desperate for the word that didn't care we don't need a cushion seat we just need you to open the book so that our lives can be saved [Applause] they stood and they huddled this is what it means they translated it you know when we travel sometimes we need a translator and I was in Africa a couple of years ago in Nigeria it's a huge crowd and they put me in the middle and they were about almost a million people sitting there and I'm preaching and teaching and the man was translating and you can tell you insane straight because they were hollering from the scene I had translated over here translated over there figure out who is translating right so I kept saying it over and over again then I said you all got that y'all got that and they say yeah they changed it up cuz the translator didn't always get it right but these guys got it right they were trained to get it right ain't no use you have 14 people that ain't trained what'd you get what'd you get all them people standing behind you for in colors like decorations just have them lined up they're ordained ornaments and they don't they're not getting it right how do I know you're telling them what I just said how do I know you're giving them what the book says you wanna counsel but you don't want to take no counseling course you want to tell people what to do how do I know that you're not messing up somebody's like how do I know that you're not giving them your opinion how do I know that they're making adjustment in their lives based on your experience how do I know that but the Levites were trusted you see all their names are names they are then you see cuz they all knew here o Israel the Lord your God is one Lord they are understood the Pentateuch they all were inculcated in the same school I don't know why this is I'm almost finished yeah you you you want to marry somebody we didn't even go to the school no wait I came for [Music] they don't know they don't know what you're talking about when the law begins to talk to you about seeking him early in the morning and when the Lord said give me all that you have and surrender to me they say you're in a cult that's of course where they telling you what to do like that no it's the book do you know what the book looks if they don't have any book run at least let them have a book yeah they never seen the book are you getting ready to buy a veil oh no no I can talk like that cuz I've been there so if you think I'm talking about you then it must be you but I've been there I have been there I didn't ask about no book see but I did get a let's hook cuz there was no book you don't think I'm joking I'm very serious why open the book I'm late why open the book listen to thickness I want to read this scripture and I'm gonna tell you about the imposter and then I'm finished why open the book Isaiah 819 I say 819 I want us three together quickly as he begins a Word of God and when they shall say to you consult mediums and spirits is who whisper and mutter well let's read it from here and when they shall say you seek unto them that have what familiar spirits and onto wizards that peep and that mutter should not have people seek unto their God for the living to the dead God to the law and to the testimony if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them and they shall pass through it hardly be stead and hungry and it shall come to pass but when they shall be hungry they shall fret themselves and curse their King and their God and look awkward so it says when they tell you to do that let's listen let's read the 22nd verse situation and they shall look unto the earth and behold trouble and darkness and dimness of anguish and they shall be driven to darkness without the word you shall be driven to darkness without the word you will seek counsel somewhere else wizard spirit is me Capricorn I'm a Sagittarius Virgo you won't cause somebody you gonna read some book you're gonna look at some gurus cup statement because the soul is gonna find answers somewhere Matthew four and that's what I want to talk about they had a certain posture they opened the book and the people stood up they gave full attention we know that standing is very biblical second Chronicles 2019 and the Levites of the children of the courts and the children of the court stood up to praise the Lord so when we ask you to stand it's not a better other thing it's a biblical thing you stand why do you clap your hands o clap your hands all the people it's a worship it's included like prostrating and lifting up your hands and worshiping the Lord it's a sign of giving honor it's bringing sound and attention to the things of God why do you kneel why do you kneel it means you pay homage to pay homage why do you prostrate and prostrate is something that we won't do because we're too clean we're too wonderful when they prostrate they stretched out on the floor until their noses hit the ground that was a sign of prostrate because they realized that in front of a king you see so for those of you make fun about people just falling out maybe you should fall out sometime find out okay and they said and then they said amen amen I'm telling you this is a posture of a congregant who responded to the word because you can't really get the word in you and sit stoic Levi come on you may not be as demonstrative or than yin as your neighbor but something a little clap a little raising of the bitter he's still angry and still special it's still special you're too special because when you worship Him you lose all your speciality are you King are you a worshipper let me sit back up the king title to all the to worship Him and when you say amen amen they don't say amen amen to everything which we all do you know we listen to them things we say amen amen it literally means it confirms a statement it's an old it's a covenant it is a truth and the Bible said in Isaiah 65 and 16 the Lord is called the dawn of truth and the original Hebrews mean he's a god of the amen that means he never says anything that's a lie so when you say Amen you're saying God is truth that's what you're saying God is speaking and it's true so even if it kills you say Amen even if the word hurts you amen because it's not about you it's about the God of truth [Applause] he's true and he's reliable he's eternally true he's not just temporarily true he's eternally true he's not conveniently true he's always true so even when he the truth hits me is a man I just I just got offended amen amen you got offended amen I didn't like it Amy why cuz it's true anybody ask you the light truth you receive started falling apart and all of a sudden you're looking for a place to hide cuz a brokenness a brokenness a brokenness brokenness is what I long for brokenness is what I need brokenness is what he wants for me when you get like that baby you're ready you're ready you're ready to be trusted you're ready for God to use you and to manifest they were crying why are they crying because they got that what they missed see if you don't miss it you ain't gon cry if you don't you have to you have to really be brokenhearted when you miss that place that you used to have something got in the way of something something kind of interrupted that and you miss it you know every now and then sister Anne you know you you were you came to the house and mother was alive so even though she wasn't walking around you know her presence was there so there was that connection and we're there and she made herself known she may have known the anything she inquired and so every now and then I'm going towards that direction I miss something comes over me and I feel the absence of her physical presence here I'm saying and you long to hear even even the sound you know that she made you know when she was walking around and she wanted your attention she would take the cane and run it on the staircase your G by G you know what that means you better come here now or she say you right Robin it means whatever you are you need to come now you miss that you miss it well that that's people and men mother and family but God there's a place he ought to have in your soul that when things are not going it right tell your neighbor that's when you are the shout cuz you got it right if you felt bad that you almost lost it but you thank God that you got it right you felt bad that you got distracted but got to say it over and over then you're gonna call somebody and talk to them about it then you gotta underline it in Scripture then you gotta go look it up in the dictionary they gotta get a word the word and break it down so you could apply the word then they gotta get collaborative scripture to underscore what you heard and then you gotta talk to somebody about it then you gotta pray with them about it then they got the accountability remember remember remember you countability partner cuz i want this that's what fellowship is you know i got the word but I went home and I've got some kind of way I know what happened when you went home you can't go home and go back to that same stuff you cannot hear cry and snot and fall out and then go back home and get on the phone with somebody that's gonna take you off or go watch something or pick up something you're used to - you gotta do some time you can't go to bed right away that thing got to get down in you yet you walk the floor you don't know what you telling you he said when you open the book and get the understanding and make sure that you have people around you that can give the same understanding it's called hermeneutics same understanding they will follow through by living it is called a remnant that's ready don't try to make anybody else there's a cry coming in here who knows what it is to be in captivity or be captivated captivated by their own desire captivated by somebody else's desire and they want somebody to tell them how do I get out of this how do I live differently so today let me announce to you
