Bigmode Memo 2023

I really can't believe it's been almost a year since we launched today we're here to show you what we've been working on get you caught up on anything you might have missed and share a couple announcements but before we get into that I'd just like to thank everyone who's made this an amazing first year and new experience first off thank you everyone here on Jason's Channel whether you've been here for years or just more recently it really means so much to us after all this time that you guys are here thank you to all of the awesome game devs and people across the entire games industry that we've been able to connect with so far both in person and online and lastly a big thanks to big load Sean and big mode Ben so thank you so much again everyone for an amazing first year of big mode and of course we're only just getting started still but we're looking forward to many years of supporting and spotlighting fun high quality indie games that's it for me I'm gonna turn you guys is over now to Jason at the big load office goodbye [Music] here I am and the first game I want to talk about today is animal well which was featured on this year's Nintendo Indie World never in a million years did I think I would be allowed onto an official Nintendo anything all of the Ducks were so nice none of them bit me and I want to apologize to Billy about the Frisbee incident people are saying I also want to apologize for the yo-yo incident too well uh animal Wells the game I've been working on for over five years uh been doing everything by myself earlier this year some of you got a chance to play Animal well at PAX East in Boston and I want to say thank you so much to everyone who stopped by it was really inspiring to meet so many of you everybody there was so sweet and encouraging and I think we all came out of that event wanting to go big mode for all of you from its dreamlike atmosphere to its multi-faceted items cute animals terrifying animals and intuitive puzzle design Billy has been hard at work this year cooking you guys up a really special game real quick I want to share with you an audio clip of one of our play testers playing through the game this game is really crazy I got a wish list of this on Steam it is taking all of my power not to spoil this game for you guys there are so many crazy Parts I want to show you but I think to really get the real animal well experience you gotta play it for yourself and you'll get another chance to play it at Pax West in Seattle on September 1st through the 4th and there'll even be some exclusive animal well packs pins for sale at the booth speaking of animal well merchandise I also want to introduce our new line of collectible figures big mode modos look at the big for each game we publish we are going to put out a clay model styled statuette designed by the creator of PPS and wee-wee's mushba look out for big mode modems in quarter one next year when we announced big mode last year so many of you reached out to us that we realized we would need to be a Walmart sized company to work with all of you that's why this winter we are hosting the first ever big mode game Jam a multi-day event where I will play your games live on Twitch and make fun of them and talk about how good the graphics are I can't wait to see what you all come up with I've got this brand new controller to play all your games on it's really good this uh works for GameCube only so I hope you guys can make it for that for more details about the theme and exact dates follow big mode games and Twitter I mean X when we wait not at now I just see Applebee's logo okay play time's over I am now putting down the bread this next game is one of my favorite Indie titles and since it released in 2017 the developers have been expanding on and refining this into one of the very best roguelike Shooters out there with a massive roster of enemies weapons creative room layouts and insane boss battles so when the developers approached us wanting to create an ultimate version of the game for Nintendo switch of course we had to say ah yeah ladies and gentlemen check this [ __ ] out [Music] thank you [Music] thank you stop a proper dance coming to the goddamn Nintendo switch [ __ ] [Music] thank you for tuning in to the big mode memo and thank you to everyone that has helped us with big mode especially my beautiful wife Aaliyah who's been working so hard to make this dream a reality now let's look at all that funny biggie fan art [Music] thank you foreign [Music] laughs [Music] [Music] thank you foreign [Music] foreign
