our two finalists first up is [Applause] here's the steel cage setting the scene for this final round in our championship beyblade tournament i'm brad best with aj topper bringing you all the action brad let me just start off by saying i am seriously stoked about today's awesome match-up this may seem like one of the tamer based stadiums but don't be fooled the tight dish and brutal slopes make it a technical nightmare sounds like our finalists have their work cut out for them and i bet they're deep in mental preparation even as we speak hey chief are you almost finished with that thing he may be a genius tyson but it takes time to construct a true masterpiece done and it's some of my best work yet awesome your beyblade now has perfect balance within three microns of deviation way to go kenny oh just think it has more microns and stuff yeah and kai's just got the regular amount of microns maybe you should be concentrating less on the science mumbo jumbo and more on your game plan you're just jealous dizzy because you'd rather be back in your baby than stuck in this laptop what and give up computer solitaire never now can we focus on today's match i thought i'd go out there and just kind of wing it or something you know get serious tyson kai is way too tough an opponent for that kind of approach wait can dizzy bring up a list of all possible big combinations of course but don't forget who pushes the buttons around here max i feel like i'm forgetting something hiya dudes grandpa alert what up hey my peeps huh this is no time for you dudes to be just chilling out grandpa i know you're not trying to be weird or anything but do you really have to talk like that please can't you just be a normal grandpa i'm begging you just trying to keep up with the times my man mode for the finals to go and forget your own birthday yeah tyson must be getting nervous about the big match i know what you mean max do you think he's got butterflies in his stomach probably he's finalists kai and tyson now i know nostradamus but i predict that we're in for one hum dinger of a battle let's take a moment and check out how evenly our competitors stack up brad this may be tyson's first championship match but he's no stranger to kai's intense style of play and will tyson's bit beast dragoon get an opportunity to kick it freestyle kai is known for being unpredictable but hometown opponent tyson may actually be counting on that none of that will matter however if draenzer's as overpowering as he's been in the past straight up brad straight up indeed tyson tyson follow the game plan closely and you'll do fine [Applause] gentlemen kai it looks like we're about to get started so good luck good luck huh you should keep it cause you're definitely gonna need it birthday boy we'll see i didn't realize luck was involved and here i wasted all my time on skill and training positions this is it i hope you're ready dragoon old pal three two one [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and this battle is underway launch wow i don't know about you brad but when i see a hammer carve across the lip and a flip side double switch back like that i can't help but smile i have no idea what you're talking about but i agree 100 dragons tyson appears to be opening his bag of tricks yes you better hold on to your hats folks literally good his chance at a first session victory gone with the the wind of section one is tyson the crowd is not quite sure what just happened i guess they were expecting more of a fight out of the returning champ that's unbelievable chief this could be tyson's best birthday ever it sure could but i wouldn't pull out the balloons and streamers just yet max after all there's still at least one more round to go and i'd say the real test is yet to come all right dragoo well done tyson i knew that boy had gumption come on kai i know you're so much better than that i don't know why you're not trying but feel free to keep it up if you like you're right i guess i was going easy on you don't worry i'm not gonna make the same mistake twice well well you finally cracked a smile did i well then i guess that's just another mistake that i won't make again [Music] [Applause] fine then i was just trying to be nice but if it bothers you that much then i don't know what your problem is you treat this like a game tyson but i choose only to compete for family honor not for fun and you don't see anything wrong with that one down and one win to go tyson if tyson sticks to the game plan that dizzy came up with i have him at pretty good odds of winning then again the odds of him sticking to the plan are slim hey quit cramping his style dude sure tyson has made a few bogus mistakes but he still managed to make it this far so maybe we should cut him some slack and give him a little cred well aj it's time to kick off round two and i wouldn't count kai out of this one just yet when it comes to beyblading anything can and will happen don't i know it this battle is far from over welcome back as our championship match continues [Music] [Applause] dragoo storm attack wow tyson isn't wasting any time twice with the same trick but again i didn't think that karaoke would ever catch on so what do i know unless my eyes are playing tricks on me kai has just released the fit beast from within his beyblade anyone want to buy a pair of air drums slightly shattered it's stranger kai's fitness is more powerful than i've ever imagined please if i weren't stuck in here i'd show old bronzer i guess still it looks like tyson might be in some trouble this time totally awesome [Music] a little fire breathing birdie tells me this one's just about over transfer fire that's all she wrote for the second session kai has defeated tyson to tie the score at one a piece which means the next and final round is for all the marbles there i tried harder happy now birthday boy and won't my grandfather be proud [Music] looks like tyson's pretty shaken up down there [Music] what do you think if he can just pull himself together he still has a shot at winning here's hoping come on tyson my man you can do it your friends and i always got your back but right now there's nothing we can do to help it's all up to you now and that means you gotta believe in yourself [Applause] [Music] nice shot feels like my teeth are still rattling i guess that puts us back on even ground doesn't it kai you don't give up easy that's for sure i didn't make it this far for nothing even if i don't win i'll know that i gave it my best shot looks like tyson's back in the zone level with me kenny what are the odds of him actually winning there isn't a computer in the world capable of calculating that equation if you must insult me please make sure i'm offline i've got to get a less sensitive laptop huh i heard that don't worry odds are no watts tyson will do his best we're approaching today's final session which will determine who walks away a champion and who simply walks away both of those boys deserve to win unfortunately only one of them will if i win this battle it's going to be my victory not my grandfather's i can't believe i've been so wrapped up in this tournament i even forgot my own birthday i'll have to remind kai that he's not the only one who spends too much time practicing but first dragoon and i have a job to do oh yeah tyson is totally up for this yes oh i can't look the final section begins it's so quiet in here you can hear a pin drop just look at the grit and determination on those two faces and tell me we're not in for the most intense battle ever [Music] and we're off and ramming here in the final session of the match neither competitor wasting any time and releasing their bid beasts i guarantee the grand finale is gonna spark some seriously gonzo fireworks [Music] first time we've seen tyson's been beast dragoon today it looks just as impressive as kai's transer dizzy which one is stronger what do i look like a computer oh yeah oh man this is the coolest battle ever that's it t give it your best shot so aj how would you like to take one of those beyblades up for a spin that would be sweet [Music] [Music] aj look at this storm versus fire in a head-on collision this is gonna be ugly in the most beautiful sense of the word these two guys won't be happy until they blast us all into orbit what a show wow no way well the smoke has finally cleared but i'm still not sure what just happened join the club brad because it looks like both players are just as confused as we are [Music] i never thought i'd get to say this but the beyblades have left the building classic what's going on i have no idea [Music] here they come falling from the sky like this one could still go either way i don't care which big blade is left spinning when this battle's over both of these guys are champions in my book hang on pal you can do it [Applause] it all comes down to this moment [Music] this one is over [Applause] i'll say one thing about that dude he sure knows how to make an old man cry [Music] hey i gave it my best i know you boys sure know how to play the crowd oh hello mr dickinson ray on behalf of the bba i just wanted to congratulate you both for putting on one heck of a show so i guess since i'm not the champion anymore you'll have no further use of my skills mr dickinson i was thinking more along the lines of making you a team captain but what do you really mean it huh let's give it up for the two top [Applause] at the world championships semifinalist max and ray johny and wishing them along with the finalists kyle and tyson good luck at the world bank championships well that sure was a nice surprise yeah you should see your faces i had to make the announcement after the match because i didn't want to spoil the surprise and risk distracting you from the battle are you serious yep totally and i'm really so proud to be a part of the team just think our beyblade team should be able to go the distance and maybe even become the champions of the world yes awesome we need a cool team name something like blade breakers you know that actually has a nice ring to it cool put her there now you're talking [Applause] i can't believe it we all get to travel on the world beyblade circuit together how [Applause] aren't you going to greet the team i think i'd prefer to work alone right and i prefer to be working on my suntan at the beach but we both have other responsibilities like like accepting your talent as a world-class beyblader instead of always trying to run away from it and like using your gift to train the other competitors who look to you as a leader instead of always shutting everybody out yeah okay i accept you don't know how happy i am to hear that yes right on kai put her there i agree to lead the team but that doesn't mean we're going to be the best of chums now i'm here for one reason and that's to coach this team to victory at the world championships happy birthday tyson enjoy it because we're starting training first thing tomorrow morning he's a rather cheery fellow isn't he so what do you think of your grandson now i ain't playing around when i say i've never
