BEWARE When Enhancing Equipment | Different Enhance Types ► Dragon's Dogma 2

in this video I'm going to give you a warning about enhancing your armor and weapons in Dragon's Dogma 2 now you might think it is super straightforward and in a way it kind of is all you have to do is go up to like one of the vendors where you can buy gear and you speak with the NPCs and you'll see you'll get the enhance equipment option over here and then you just you know find the thing that you want to enhance but the thing that you might not know is that depending where you enhance an item you get different results as to what's enhanced of the item for example in this case you're going to look to the top right and you're going to see the vermian this is the enhancement that we're applying we're applying the vermian enhancement this is going to moderately enhance all attributes of a piece of equipment so in this case it's going to give you like you know an equal strength and equal Magicka equal defense equal Magicka defense kind of buff and if you pay attention to the stats of my solar Newman right now for my first like enhancement the strength is going to 174 and the Magicka is going to 500 48 but if we instead go from burnworth to Buck batal over here in Bal you'll see that the enhancement is completely different if I go to a weapon shop over here and if I go into enhance equipment you'll see at the top right we get the battal enhancement which is going to greatly increase strength and defense but it's going to have very little effect on Magicka and Magic defense which means instead of our stof getting 548 Maga from the verw worth one we're only getting getting 541 but we're getting more strength even though this is a stu we don't really need strength on it the strength is much higher in value so if this was a sword this is where you would upgrade your swords I know they are elves in the game I don't know if they have their own town though so they might have a completely different item enhancement I just don't know what it is yet I'm thinking it's probably just magic and lower strength and defense like the opposite of this one I hope you guys enjoyed the video and thank you so much for watching
