20 g fresh yeast (about 0.7 oz) or 7 g dry yeast (about 2 1/4 tsp) + 200 ml lukewarm milk (about 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon). 65g sugar (1/3 cup). 400 g all-purpose flour (3 1/3 cups) + pinch of salt. 80g butter (about 1/3 cup). 1 egg. Cover the dough with cling film and leave it in a warm place to rise. This takes around 30 to 40 minutes. To achieve an ideal temperature, I use my oven and set it to 45°C (113°F). Flour. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 20 minutes. 1 egg. Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F). The baking time is 15-20 minutes in convection mode.
