Subtitles available! In this video: Power troweling concrete floor After concrete mesh had been laid and a sand cement floor placed in the toilet, concrete was poured. Concrete was pumped to the shed using a trailer pump. 8M3 concrete poured in 45 minutes The height was determined by means of a laser The concrete leveling is already pretty close to perfect After pouring the concrete, only a deb screed / floating row was used for levelling. When to start power troweling? We started power troweling when we could walk on the concrete and leave footprints of about 2mm The first few times we used a floating disc under the power trowel machine This creates a layer of cement slurry. We did the edging manually every time with a floating board / flat trowel The cement layer after power troweling with floating disc First time power troweling without a floating disc The first time troweling without a floating disc, the blades are set as flat as possible Every time we hit the concrete with the power trowel, the angle of the blades was increased After concrete had strengthened a 2nd time power troweling The edges again done manually with floating board / flat trowel And as mentioned earlier with a larger angle of the blades After concrete had strengthened a little further, a 3rd time was power troweled After this a few more times with power trowel until a good result was achieved. Time for post-treatment of concrete floor
