BEST Tarkov Settings for FPS and VISIBILITY — Optimization and Keybinds | Escape from Tarkov

hello YouTube Welcome Back to another video I can't believe you I convince you to watch another video of mine so thanks for checking back um today going to show you the one of the best tarov settings videos you've ever seen and probably ever will um precisely zero people asked me to do this but I'm going to cuz um you know the patch is different you know we're at 0.14 now so some of the graphics and view I feel like it performs way better so I'll show you what settings I'm running currently I'm uh sitting at a gForce RTX 360 graphics card you know nothing special uh just a pre-built PC um cuz I'm a father of 17 children that I have to feed so along those lines if you like my videos and appreciate my content and think I'm funny go and hit that like button hit subscribe turn on the ding-dong Bell that way I can feed my 17 kids uh cu's working 400 hours a week sucks send a comment down in the comment section let me know what you think um that way I can get better at each time I upload so let's get into into it so settings here I speak English so that's the first setting um I so I know a lot of people run the quick slots um stamina and all this stuff that they put it on always shown that way you can just quickly glance at it and you don't have to wait for an injury to happen for your health to pop up um an interaction for your quick slots to pop up or a change in your stamina or Crouch or anything in order for your positioning to pop up in the bottom left so I have mine on autohide because I prefer the immersion versus the convenience and like HUD display I don't love that if I wanted that I would just play Call of Duty um and the whole reason I play this game is because it'll scare the crap out of you get your adrenaline going and just suck you in and get you addicted so that's why I do that um I do monochrome I think it looks cleaner if you know if I'm going for immersion and like a gritty visceral feeling I put on monochrome CU it's either gray or red or black versus like green yellow orange that stuff I don't really need that was pretty colors on on my screen so I just do monochrome um let's see what's next I don't even know what that does um so this double click item quick use they added this last um like in in the late .13 so if you double click on an item and your stash to inspect it and it's a consumable item you'll eat it um whether it's rat poison or water or boot you'll eat it um so I just do in raid only that way um you know if I'm in a situation I can double click on a stem on a medkit on food or whatever and consume it quicker than that um quicker than it would be right clicking and then hit use all so that's why I Chang that cuz if I'm in a stash I want to double click and inspect something not to necessarily eat it cuz I've got all the time of the world want I'm back in my Hideout um honestly didn't even know that was there so ignore that automatic Ram cleaner and only using physical cores I do not have these checked I know some people will leave them unchecked because they say the Intel is a certain amount of physical cores and then a certain amount of virtual cores I don't know what that means to be honest I just play the game I leave them unchecked I know some people check them and leave them checked others if they sense that they're having a memory leak in game they will check them hit save and then they will go back and uncheck them and supposedly that it'll it'll give you a lag Spike but supposedly that will fix a memory leak I I don't know I've had great performance this wipe um with patch point4 so I have not really needed or felt like I needed to do that I yeah that's that fov I could crank it all the way up now with the recoil being different uh or reduce this time around but I just leave it I bumped it up two slots so from last wipe I had it at 67 I just turned it up to 69 cuz you know head bobbing Crank that all the way down um malfunction notifications are very nice to have because it'll flash red in the bottom right of your screen I don't necessarily need a preload Hideout or an intermediate that's just like unnecessary because if you turn that on go to your Traders this is it's like the old system it would just pop up here versus if it was off I'm probably telling you stuff you already know but once you click Traders it'll just pop up to their screen so that's that go to Graphics that's probably the reason you're watching this video if you even are watching it I play on 1440 I do record in OBS software and have that um down scill to 10 80 so that's why the videos are 1080 that way I can have performance while recording I don't want to have to tie up my CPU or GPU in order to process a 1440 video it's not really necessary 1080 is plenty aspect ratio I do 169 I know some people have like 15 1610 weird ratios I don't know I just play on normal I do borderless that way I can alt tab to maps and stuff full screen if you alt tab it'll just like like completely um it'll like minimize the game entirely so then you won't hear anything and then it'll kind of like have a lag Spike when you go back into the game I've got a LG Ultra gear monitor with g-sync um I'll talk about gsync here in a second overall Graphics quality you can slide this but it just it's just presets basically so if you adjust if you put it on a preset and then adjust even one thing it'll say custom over here so just kind of ignore that I do high texture quality uh I get around I should preface this by saying I get around 80 FPS on most Maps um and then like just 70 60 to 70 when scoped in on high Zoom or high magnification so or context that's what this will get you with a 3060 I play on high texture quality low Shadow quality I've tested all this stuff and this has just been what I found that I like so texture quality High Shadow quality low um LOD stands for level of detail quality i' keep it at 2.5 um I've heard haven't tried I have actually tried this I heard if you put it at two you won't be able to see like oh if you have a like a higher fov and you put your LOD quality low you're not going to be able to see front sights of like some really long guns for instance a Mosen so with high texture quality and 2.5 LOD I've had zero issues with being satisfied with how the game looks um in addition to how the game performs so that's 2.5 is like a sweet spot anything other than that it's just like artificially sharp and stuff overall visibility last wipe I had it at 2,000 um this update they added you know with the snow and everything there's kind of a haze in the air um most of the time so I just turned this down just to kind of save like you know it I'm sure the PC in the in the background wants to render whatever's behind the fog so I just turn this down to, 1500 um that way I can save a little bit performance not that it does a lot but you know that's the thought anti- eling this will depend on your GPU um I've tried them all and I just TAA looks the cleanest for me everything else is just a bunch of jittery staticky loose edges um so this is just the best that works for me resampling just keeping at one times you don't need to down sample or up sample Nvidia dlss off um I don't I haven't really been able to tell the difference I've tried balance performance and all that stuff I I didn't really see a difference this I just leave default off not sure what it does and we occlusion test around with this see what you like um I do high performance that it still looks good and it you know if I'm getting 80 FPS in this game I much satisfied I'm used to playing you know on on Arma three you'll get 30 FPS 25 FPS so anything above 60 is just like spoiled so I don't know why people need 120 140 FPS on this game uh screen space Reflections I like I like the way the water looks so I keep that on high I know some people turn on low or off but I've tested around with it I just prefer a really good looking game so all this stuff keep it unchecked I I checked this cuz streets not tly has performance issues I'm not I never look to see exactly what this does but um just lowers the texture helps things run smoother is what I'm guessing and from my experience it does seem to have an effect so I just keep checked per uh anisotropic filtering I just keep on per texture reflex little latency I've tried off on Boost I don't I'm not for sure I don't remember what I keep it on but that's where I'm running sharpness is 1.6 that doesn't really matter everything else is good post effects I do not use at all and I do not run Labs either really um I can I'll tank around in Labs but I don't really do a lot um I don't have all the time in the world to do that so I do not run post effects I know some people will have a you can look it up there's all kinds of resets out there people will only run post effects in Labs since it's darker uh so basically it'll just brighten stuff up help them see in dark environments and Corners um I do use binural audio I used to not uh first two wipes I did not use binaural audio I didn't really have any issues with out having binaural audio but once I checked it it just felt like it was much more immersive so I just leave it on now there is a learning curve to figure out like directional sound so once you check by General audio and like walk past a bush you're going to hear that bush noise like like whoosh past you it's very strange you'll know what I mean if you turn it on if you've never um experienced that but try it out I would recommend it it helps with locating and positioning um just on audio cues so I would give that a give that a shot um you know I got voed for obvious reasons to trick the scavs um let's see what else um last video I mentioned how I swap my lean left and lean right ke keys so lean right I keep on Q that way I don't know how to explain this without like showing you but Q for me if you know with d being movement right to the right I can't use my index finger to hit e and move right with d so that's why I lean with q that way I can move right with d and vice versa with moving left with a and then leaning left with e it's uh it's kind of tricky and it's backwards but once you get your reminder around it it's just second nature so I would recommend that uh this will majority of this will be preference so I'm not going to go e down each one I'm just going to scroll okay if you have Mouse buttons I would suggest this has been great for me toggle tactical devices on the mouse switching I just double click and then Fire Control I do Mount the rear Mouse button but whatever you know whatever you [Music] want M sensitivity will be preference uh I've recently been adjusting with this that way because my mouse has uh sensitivity buttons on top of it be right behind the scroll wheel so I can adjust those and make it really fast or I can tone it down and like make it super slow however that applies it globally so I what I'm going for is a slower aim and look speed um or like movement speed in the game but in menus and stuff like that I want to regular cursor speed that way I'm not slowed down and have to like pad swipe three times to get left to right uh from screen to screen so um if you haven't done that already I would suggest that um it'll be a quality of life Improvement for you for sure I think that's about it there I'll take you over to I do have an Nvidia as I said earlier uh so I'll take you over to the graphics Nvidia control panel and we'll see what I run there okie dokie so once your Nvidia control pops up just go to manage 3D settings select program choose escape from tarov and then boom bada bing it'll load up I'm just going to slide down here and explain the ones that I [Music] changed as I said earlier I do have a gsync monitor so um in the game I keep vsync off and turn on gsync out here in the background so it'll be um the monitor refresh rate will match my in-game frames per second that way it'll prevent screen tearing and be a smoother experience um this will just whatever I don't have like a dual PC or anything like that so it's just going to be it'll Auto Select to the um Hardware but I just choose it that way I know it's what I'm looking at power management mode I do put on prefer maximum performance um I don't know if it does that much but it's at least Peace of Mind preferred to refresh rate highest possible application controlled if you set a FPS limit uh in your lobby or in your game it will only render the frames that fast so I just just crank it up Max it out I'll I'll control it um and also or is better so vertical sync I use 3D application status you can turn it off if you're not even going to use it ever but I just keep it in a 3D um that way I can kind of toy around with it I don't really need to toy around with it anymore but I'm screwing stuff up here but that way you can control it in the game see another one is coloring oh where here we go they using my color settings um and you can watch my previous videos to kind of see what the color and the graphics looks like on these settings so you're just going to select your monitor you can change the brightness um so I recommend if you every monitor is probably different and it depends on your monitor settings like built in that you can adjust with the little toggle underneath um so it's multifactoral based on what the game will look like um there's many different components in there whether it's you have post effects on what your monitor is doing and then what this application is doing so you'll have to mess around with it to get it look the way you want um I've been thinking about trying to get it a little bit brighter as far as the maybe the blacks not being so dark that way I can that way I can just like see features and details and um rooms things like that you know what I'm talking about so I would just like to be able to see a little bit more um instead of a dark dark black inside like dorms or anywhere like that you know T has notorious lighting issues just super dark so I'm thinking about messing with these a little bit if I do I'll let you know that way I can change the visuals to improve my visibility but brightness 57 contrast 50 gamma 1.09 and this is on all channels digital Vibrance is at 60 and the Hue is zero yeah that's tarov settings for you guys uh wasn't very long video but at least this will be here for reference um so hopefully help someone out this is obviously GE more towards beginners if you've been playing t for a while you probably already know this but if not um give give him a shot I I really like these settings I am a strickler for quality and Beauty which is why I chose my beautiful wife but anyways I do prefer a goodlooking game versus a arcadey bright neon colored shooter I don't know you know I play this game for fun I want to get immersed into tarov so that's why I make it look beautiful I will sacrifice FPS for the good looks I think that's all I got for you guys but but yeah like I said I got 400 kids to feed so if you could hit the like button hit the Subscribe and join the Mr mumbles gang even though it's not
