Stremio is pretty much
a one-stop shop for entertainment. That is, until you realize
that your favorite show or sports match is nowhere to be seen. Variety alone is just one perk
of getting a good Stremio add-on. But let me tell you about the others. Welcome. In this video, I'll give you my top list
of Stremio add-ons to access additional content sources
and subtitles and more. I'll even cover whether it's legal to use Stremio
and how you can do it safely. Okay, I'm going to jump
into my list in a second, but quickly let me give you
a little reminder, aka this is where I let you know
that while Stremio is legal, some add-ons
can have copyrighted material. This means it's entirely up to you
what content you choose to watch. Yet keep in mind that sharing
and downloading copyrighted material is illegal and can result in fines,
so I don't want you to get fined and I definitely don't want
to promote illegal activities. There's that. Now that the public service announcements
are out of the way, the first add-on I'd recommend downloading
is your popular streaming services. Of course,
you'd need separate subscriptions to access these,
but if you already have some, it makes accessing all subscriptions
in one place super convenient. While there are no add-ons
for individual streaming services here, they are integrated. Say I wanted to see shows strictly
from a particular subscription, I just type that in here and through
the Discovery tab I can see shows that are available
just from this streaming service. If any, take my fancy,
I click on one and it redirects me to that particular service. If you're a new user
and wondering how to use Stremio and access
particular streaming service add-ons, there are some community ones available,
and it's super easy. You can click on the puzzle icon
at the top of your Stremio app, search for your desired add-on,
and press install. Just remember,
searching through community add-ons and official add-ons
are going to give you different results. Now, if you can't find a particular show or movie with that method,
another recommendation is CineTorrent. Because CineTorrent
scrapes torrenting sites for links, it boasts a vast variety of content, which means any found link
can be streamed directly to your Stremio device. But take caution here,
this is not an official add-on. What does this mean exactly? Well, one,
it might not work with Stremio versions, and more importantly two,
it could stream pirated content. If you don't want
to risk dealing with pirated content. I'd recommend choosing
a different add-on altogether. Otherwise, the library
is extensive and has lots to see. Okay,
who here watches shows with subtitles? I know for me
it's not a regular occurrence, but there's always those times
when I got to have my volume down low. Think about those times
when the episode's music is at like 100 and the talking
is barely scraping a 20. The directory is huge also with a ton
of options spanning from Korean to European languages
like French and Spanish. [foreign language 00:03:42] I butchered that, I'm sure. Okay, my last recommendation
in this best Streamio add-ons list is the notorious P-I-R-A-T-E Bay. Pirate Bay is a third-party extension that will give you access to tons
of content from torrenting sites. The directory is going
to be huge here too, seeing as the content comes from one
of the biggest torrenting archives in the world, Pirate Bay. Again, just be cautious of copyrighted content
when using this method. You don't want
to wind up in any legal battles, so stick to the ones on TV. Just keep in mind
I had to download this one from Google rather than directly
from the Stremio app. I said that was the last one
but something cool I saw advertised on Stremio's website
is that you can create your very own add-on
with a little bit of tech knowledge, so this can be published or even
made private just for your pleasure. I haven't had a chance to do this myself, but if you have, please leave
a comment and let me know how it went. All right. By the way,
while a lot of you already use Stremio, Firestick or Android TV extensions,
Stremio is also available on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android as well,
so it's widely accessible. Okay, we know where to access Stremio
and that it's easy to use, but more importantly,
is it actually safe to use? A critical consideration when torrenting
or accessing content online is safety. As I quickly covered, Stremio is a secure way to organize
and manage your content in one place. It is a legit media center
and application, but some add-ons
aren't without the following risks. Firstly, content sources. Be careful
where you get your add-ons from. If they're unverified or unknown, you're putting your device in danger
of being infected with malware or even falling victim
to phishing attacks yourself. Both of these risks mean your data
is exposed, and nobody wants that. Secondly,
did I hear copyright infringement? Yeah, I'm being repetitive here
for good reason. You don't want to face fines or legal action because you ended up
downloading copyrighted content. I'd even strongly advise you check
your country's laws in regards to torrenting and even the use
of some platforms in general, just to be safe. Thirdly, and this is one a lot of people
don't consider your security, yours. Just like a lot of other apps and web pages,
Stremio collects your data, so this is anything
from viewing history to preferences and even your e-mail address. It might not sound like a lot, but in the wrong hands
it can be used to create a profile of you. That aside, there are tons
of other risks that you might face, and this is where a certain security too
can make a world of difference. If you don't know, a VPN can be beneficial
for a lot of the safety concerns that I've covered. Not only that, but it can help you access
certain extensions from any country. Finally,
VPNs make what you're doing online and on Stremio much more private. I'd say NordVPN and Surfshark
are the top two that you can access on the market currently. Not only are they reliable,
but they have tons of servers for streaming content far and wide,
and they're lightning fast too. What's more, they have apps
for most standard platforms, including Firestick
and Android TV as well. To avoid accidentally stumbling on something
that could get you in trouble, infecting your device with malware,
or facing add-on blocks in your country, get a VPN today. I have left the best deals
down in the description below. Stay tuned for more content
and click that like button. Don't forget to subscribe
to never miss a video. Thanks for listening
to my best Stremio add-ons. Catch you next time.
