Hey, are you struggling to find
a reliable website to torrent safely? It seems like all of them
are either taken down immediately or infect my device with nasty malware. Okay, maybe not all of them. I do have a few actually good
torrenting websites to share. Hey, I'm Emmett, and today I'll cover
five trustworthy torrenting websites that won't trick you
into downloading malware or fake files. But before starting, you should know that all these websites
might contain copyrighted material, and we absolutely do not endorse
downloading, watching or using it. This list is made for your online safety as these sites contain harmful ads,
malware and malicious trackers. Check all applicable rules and regulations
before torrenting or downloading anything, and consider using protective tools. I'll give my recommendations
for those in a bit later on in the video, so stay tuned for that. All right, my first recommendation to start this
best torrenting websites list is none other than the Pirate Bay. You've probably heard about this site since it's by far
the most popular one for torrenting, having millions of monthly users. You also might be thinking, wait a minute, didn't I hear
about it being shut down? You're right. But this bay
has weathered numerous storms, and despite being taken down a few times, it's still offering
relatively secure ways to get torrents. One of the Pirate Bay's strong suits
is its commitment to safety. The site meticulously verifies uploaders, instilling a sense of trust
in the torrents. While I can't guarantee you
complete immunity, this vetting process
significantly minimizes the risk. Also, it's the best way to search
for something more obscure and less known, since the large seeder base ensures
that even these torrents download swiftly, not even talking about the popular ones
with thousands of seeders. While the Pirate Bay user interface
is not my favorite, it's easy to understand,
and it allows me to filter results by format quality
or even gaming console compatibility. Sure, there might be
a few ads floating around, but with a reliable ad blocker in place,
this is not a problem. I recommend using tools like Total Adblock
or NordVPN with threat protection. Just keep in mind that in some regions the Pirate Bay might be
blocked due to restrictions. There's even an entire Wikipedia article you can read to learn
what countries block it. Even if your country is on that list, a trustworthy VPN
like NordVPN or Surfshark can help you
navigate around those obstacles. I'll talk about my recommended tools
a little bit later, so if you're in a rush, I'll leave my best discount links
for all of them in the description below. Moving on, let me introduce you
to my current favorite torrent website established all the way back in 2007, it's 1337X. 1337X is different
since it relies on Bitcoin donations. Yeah, I know, but it minimizes
the annoyance of ads cluttering my view. Even then, don't forget
to always, always use a good ad blocker. There are trackers and other malicious aspects
you want to avoid. The main reason I like 1337X so much is that it has a sleek design
and user interface. Everything is clearly labeled, and I can only see
the most necessary metrics. I can filter torrents
in way more convenient ways, like trending today
or top 100 torrents of the month. The community
is a bit smaller than the Pirate Bay, but is still thriving
with 53 million monthly visitors, so I honestly didn't have any real problem
downloading even older torrents, and I haven't stressed
too much about malware. People here like to keep files clean. Even after all that praise always,
and I mean always use a VPN or even a VPN plus antivirus combo
when browsing any torrent website, even the ones you personally trust. YTS, or maybe you've heard
its other name YIFY, compared to the previous legends
it's younger, established around 2011. YTS is more oriented toward optimal torrent sizes
and less about quality. While the occasional pop-up
does annoy me a bit, YTS is tame compared
to some other websites. Look, even torrenting websites
agree with me, you need a VPN for torrenting, so if you don't have one,
discounts are in the description. Moving on. YTS has a similar community and as mentioned prides itself
on smaller file sizes. But don't mistake the smaller
community for low seeds. The stability and speed here are great. This makes YTS perfect for those of you
with limited bandwidth or storage space, but a big tradeoff naturally
is lower video quality as files are compressed quite a lot. I personally used YTS before,
but now I'm more of a quality snob. If TV and shows are more your jam,
then EZTV can be another good option, boasting around
20-plus million monthly visitors. Though I do have to say it looks
the most outdated of all my recommendations. Just look at this design. It can be confusing for beginners, and there's not enough information
on the torrent itself in my opinion. But even though it looks outdated, EZTV has a lot of the newest releases
and uploads content frequently. Again, caution is advised, especially when talking
about copyrighted content, downloading it can lead you
to serious trouble, so browsing EZTV with an ad blocker
and a good VPN is a must. All right,
last on my torrenting website list is one for gamers
seeking lower file sizes and not downloading
150 gigabytes for a four-hour game, it's FitGirl Repacks. There are a lot of game releases here,
over 70 pages in fact, so you'll definitely
find something to play. The best thing is just like 1337X, FitGirl Repacks
don't have any invasive ads. I'll admit that installing
software or video games isn't the easiest task sometimes, so I love the fact that I can see
the troubleshooting section, which at least provides some help. But beware
of malicious clone torrent websites masquerading as this reputable harbor. In fact, this applies to all
of my recommendations. Look, it's simple. Even if you're not downloading torrents, your device needs to be protected
by a good antivirus software. I use Bitdefender on my personal device and I don't really
have any issues with it, but I can also recommend
TotalAV antivirus. I'll leave my discounts below. The main advice with antivirus is make sure that it has
real-time protection, meaning catching malware when downloading. And don't forget to run scans
at least once a week to make sure that there's nothing
hiding in your storage. I've said it before, I'll say it again,
you need a VPN for torrenting. My two recommendations here
would be NordVPN and Surfshark. Both providers offer a way
to fight ads and trackers. NordVPN has threat protection, while Surfshark
comes with a clean web feature, so I don't need extra apps
just to block those ads. It's pretty convenient. But they are also the leaders
of the VPN industry, so which should you pick? NordVPN allows
up to six simultaneous connections and offers more features, so dark web monitoring, meshnet,
double VPN, or even obfuscated servers. Surfshark is more budget-friendly, offering lower monthly prices,
but unlimited simultaneous connections. Yes. If you want to have a complete
protection VPN, ad blocker and antivirus, check out the Surfshark One subscription. Lastly, choose a reliable torrent client. It can make your journey smooth sailing
or a stormy sea. That was the last pirate pun. Promise. I recommend going with a reliable and proven software
like transmission or qBittorrent. These are completely free
and open-source tools that don't throttle your speed
or put useful features under a paywall. I'm looking at you, you torrent. I think I've covered everything I wanted
to about my favorite torrent sites, so it's not that complicated
to torrent safely if you visit reliable websites
with the right tools active. A VPN like NordVPN can help you
bypass restrictions and protect yourself from ads or trackers. Pick a website from my list
that best suits your needs, and may your torrents be swift
and downloads plentiful. That's it for today's
best torrenting websites video. If you have any questions
