hello folks once again welcome to roots gourmet kitchen today we are doing something very simple but it's one of my requests that was sent to me it's pig foot souse you know we have chicken foot sales cow skin sounds but I had a request for pig foot souse so in this bowl here I have let's get on with it some pig foot I what I saw these actually for over 20 minutes and some salt and some lemon to get all the gooey stuff and all the gunk on it because they're not very mmm that's kind of things so it's all washed and clean and ready to go and all I need first recipe is some some Tomatoes I'm sorry not tomatoes some cucumbers some onions some hot scotch bonnet pepper some scallion and then need some baking soda which I'm gonna throw into the water because this takes quite a while picks it takes quite a while to soften up so you don't put any salt in the pot because it is a little longer to cook but you put some baking soda in the water with three four heads of garlic okay so I'm gonna go to this tool right now I have my pot boiling I'm just gonna throw in a full cause of garlic during the baking soda and that's gonna stop now this pigs feet and it's gonna be cooked in no time normally would take probably about an hour hour and a half but this would be done in about an hour time because of the baking soda that I just put in there so folks sit tight while I read a book and we'll come back later and finish this off it's gonna take me about an hour let's see it about an hour and 10 minutes to get us done and I'll see you guys shortly ciao for now folks my pig feet are done and we are going to pull it together I'll show you guys how we are going to prepare this to serve it for later I have here some cucumbers some onions we are gonna put in I have three cups of water here we're just going to put the whole on you see I have them cut really skinny very thin slices and so what's going to give the the pig feet all that flavor and then we have two teaspoons of salt two scotch bonnet pepper pepper chops in the Caribbean the men use these when they're drinking that's what what I thought only one is four but because it's salty and peppery when they drink they tend to eat this so they don't get drunk so it's kind of good there's mascarpone there are some peppers I put in a while ago and it has some green onions here when it put some of that in there and a salt is not a sauce without some cucumbers in there that you convert in here now we are just going to stir this and get all the flavors of the onions the hot peppers in there look how pretty this look and move on the protein I can't put a little bit of the bones so we have more meat and head and bones and what I originally started with and it's gonna mix this together all the brine that this is going to make it's gonna make this so delicious folks we don't eat this right away what we normally do we normally put it in the refrigerator cover down in some saran wrap so I could absorb all that onion and green onion taste and believe me it's very very delicious Jesus here this clutch bonnet pepper it's in there let that help previous looks guys Tammy this doesn't look delicious and this would not be enjoyable I know many of you poppy would say or pig feet but you know every piece everybody eat different things every culture have different things and this is one of them this is loved by the men in the Caribbean when you have the liquor knives and believe me they eat up everything in the onions they either tomatoes the either the peppers everything that eats and the cute couples cucumbers absorb all the swords really really nice so see here folks this is our Caribbean pigfoot's house and you can make chicken foot sounds you can make Pig for cows look at that and you can put some up to brime in there because the men drink it too we all drink it look at that if you having a party and this here when you having a party in the Caribbean I know people don't be drinking liquor you make this and throw out a drinking process they're eating and drinking to the salt and pepper then going to home after they drink their rivers nobody's drunk folks look at this take a very good close look please try this you would not regret it you could either use chicken feet come skin or pig feet if you liked this recipe please subscribe leave a message interact with me share the goodness of foods gourmet kitchen I see you guys again once again thanks for watching have a great day
