BEST LIVING ROOM in a 2 Bedroom Fifth Wheel RV | 2023 Alliance Paradigm 395DS

what's up y'all welcome back to another video my name is miles it's my wife here hey guys hey guys and I bet you're wondering how we are both in the same shot at the same time with a camera that's moving and that is because there is a really special guest here behind the camera would you like to introduce yourselves sure what's going on guys it's JD big truck big RV uh ran into my good friend miles and got a chance to meet his wife over here at the Houston RV show super cool it is packed full of people um we're having a good time right yeah absolutely yeah I am really excited I'm sure a lot of y'all instantly knew who it was before he even said his name because it's probably one of the most recognizable voices on the internet in the world of RVs so hopefully y'all are excited to have him here as much as we are yeah there you go that's I was trying to look for the words to say but I'm just like beside myself with the opportunity to honestly we've already got to collaborate together in the past super super knowledgeable guys super great guy and big news that he recently announced that he's kind of taken off on his own now he's no longer working for a dealership yes so models like this I have been so excited to film have not had the opportunity to because I was working with a dealership in a sales department that did not carry every brand out there so I was just confined to the brands that we did carry which meant Brands like the alliance Paradigm that we're going to look at here I didn't have access to and now that we have split from that tied to a dealership we can come so you're so much trendier than I am that's the thing man you got like a face for camera I got a face for like like PBS well you have a great voice for it so thank you I appreciate it and big truck big RVs that channel and JD behind the channel is I mean he is hyper focused on the safety with Towing RVs especially and is very knowledgeable on quality and construction so I think that that is what he has really mastered and he's even better on the like safety aspects especially with the vehicle to towable RV relationship than I am so I've learned a lot from his channel and you should definitely go check it out no thank you I appreciate that but this is your this is your show so you you tell me what to do I'm just a cameraman today so we are going to just run right into looking at this this is an alliance Paradigm at 395 Ms now two bedroom fifth wheels are the big thing for 2023 and you all already know like Avalanche 390 DS uh Montana 381 TV Solitude 391 DL all these models have come out one option I have been dying to look at is this Paradigm 395 Ms that might be the best two full bedroom two full bathroom fifth wheel for 2023 because it offers more seating space than any of the other options so we are going to start with actually going inside and then we'll come back out and look at the more specifics outside very cool also want to point this out because this is a new piece of equipment this is the stage trail from lore ride we all saw this in some of the videos from Indiana that we did but this is going to be a collapsible arm that extends all the way down the length of the step here so you can easily reach it without having to actually you know take a step up to reach your safety rail there so new piece of equipment that's pretty cool for 2023. yeah and the big scheme of things this is an area you haven't seen much improvement in the last several decades so it's cool to see that there's been some Evolution there absolutely yeah because it's been the same for a long time so all right immediately when you walk in here this is what is the absolute show stopper with this model let's turn on these lights here as well you have a true dedicated actual living room feel in a two bedroom fifth wheel so this is the only option I've seen that is going to feature a sofa that will make into a bed two recliners and a dinette table in a two bedroom fifth wheel also love that you have your dinette table here with these massive windows so great view out into your campsite as well so they didn't have to sacrifice your campsite Windows to make this happen day and night shades on all of your windows these are MCD roller Shades and then you have a residential kind of framed out style and look to your window fixtures there as well yep and the folks over at Alliance actually name all of their large Windows Atrium Windows because they want you to have that feel a very large lot of light windows that are designed to really maximize the space that they put them so for instance you look at like a chair like this and some RVs you have a big window behind it and half the windows covered up by the sofa but with this you see how it perfectly kind of wraps lighting around Furniture and Things they put a lot of thought into how they construct and place things in their RVs yeah absolutely this unit here I haven't checked and confirmed but it should be a three AC unit it is yeah so three ACs on here I also really love that you have I believe this style of lighting would be called like a recess light is I know that's correct Puck lighting is usually what you would call it in something like this but it's it's kind of like even with homes now it's no longer recessed lighting it's Puck lighting it's just like an LED flat lighting that they put on so that's what I was looking for that word yeah so it just has a really nice flat flush look it's not your traditional lights like this that you usually see all throughout the RV so that's just a little too much of detail that I really appreciate on this too LED lighting in your crown molding that's up on the ceiling there so that gives you a little bit of a just hot ambient light yeah and then nice big kitchen space and then this is an actual tile backsplash here what do you think about this babe I love this yeah this is something we have not seen in any of the RVs that we have featured because all the brands that we have featured actually that's not true sorry Solitude they have the tile backsplash as well um but most of the stuff we looked at from Keystone which is what we primarily worked with on a day-to-day did not have this so a nice Added Touch I know a lot of people I talked to that came to look at Keystone stuff were just astounded at the fact that they did not have a tile backsplash in some of their higher end products so I'd like to see that because I know that's important to some people out there I also want to point out this black glass yeah that's cut out it's nice it just yeah black glass accents on some of these cabinets that you see throughout here big Insignia 4 burner stove and oven so this is your residential style oven down underneath here and then we'll look at this real quick just because we're here again this is a 2023 Paradigm 395 Ms here at the show this is with Ron Hoover and they have the MSRP of 140 30 000 discount getting this to a price of 109 9.99 here so pretty good competitive price it will put it at a little bit higher price point than some of the other two full bedroom options out there I know uh Avalanche 390ds will be a little bit lower um things like the Montana two-bedroom model will be a little bit lower but none of them will have this living room set up here so you do get a little bit of additional uh space in the living room with that so you know I haven't checked out the the Keystone products in terms of if they're doing everything flush floor but that's another big piece here is they do the flush floral linoleum on both sides yeah absolutely yeah so yeah it has a really nice feel on it I mean you almost can't even tell that there's a separation here between your side out slide out flooring and your regular flooring that's a big deal also not all two bedroom fifth wheel models have a designated Pantry space yeah so that is really nice in here as well get that with a really nice LED backlighting there then 12 volt refrigerator here that has a ton of space and looks really really nice yeah freezer here we'll have a tray that slides back and then kind of a great system in there as well well in the norcold they're known for making gas electric the big four-door toy hauler refrigerator that everyone knows of and this is kind of their first dive into this 12 volt full residential size refrigerator they did a really nice job um it even just doesn't extend out as far yeah because it's a flat surface and the lockable handles so if you look at most residential refrigerators and RVs they have to put some type of a latching mechanism to keep them shut but norcold knows that a big concern is door's opening up while you're traveling much cleaner yeah that's a big deal actually that is a really big deal because my family they have a Cougar fifth wheel and they have a I can't remember the brand of refrigerator that's in there I think it might be a higher but it's a residential refrigerator and the doors don't secure shut and I have a picture that my dad sent me where all of their food oh wow fell on the floor while they were going down the road so he had cracked eggs everywhere and stuff like that so this actually is a really nice feature that they put together there one other thing what's missing from the floor in here oh no floor bin yeah so no floor vents in here as well so I would assume that all of your heating is being ran through Cabinetry at some yep you have it underneath your island or not Island but the u-shaped kitchen aspect there you're going to have your vents here so it's actually right underneath this kitchen space where you have your heating vents so no floor vents solid surface countertops now I want to get through the really exciting part which is the Loft and the bedroom aspect now my one critique of this model that I would have is you don't have a drop frame underneath here like you would have on the Avalanche 390ds Montana 381 TB loft is not going to be as big because of that so we can get up into that Loft space and show that there still a good sized Loft up in that space But it is going to be a loft where you're going to be doing more of an army army brawl style of maneuvering around up there and then it does not extend all the way to the rear wall of the fifth wheel so you are going to get a much taller shower in the back which many models are doing that but Avalanche 390ds was the brand that kind of kicked off this whole two full bedroom two full bathroom fifth wheel and they did The Loft all the way to the back wall so the shower height in that back bedroom was only like five eight or five nine it was not very tall and I think the the perk to this though is that without needing a drop frame you also eliminate the possibility that you're going to hit the ground whenever you're pulling in and out of RV spots absolutely yeah so that is a big consideration that was a big concern for people with those models as well plus it gives you a flush Floor coming back into the bedroom no steps to go down and as we come back into the space really nice it makes it give an illusion that's a lot bigger in here which is really nice yeah because one thing that's different with this model too um there's some other two full bedroom models that will have a slide out in this area and some will some won't this one does not so this looks like this is about the length of a queen size bed here it's a nice long bed definitely long enough for someone like me that's six two to sleep in does come equipped with a TV in this bedroom so this is going to separate it from a lot of other brands that will not have a TV equipped already and nice little hidden touches here like this flip up storage space oh nice right emotes and just miscellaneous stuff you can just tuck in yeah I feel like that would be it or in Texas so what do you put in there yeah that's gonna be your place yeah that's where you put your your handguns your uh [Laughter] yeah no that's a great hit you know what's what's interesting though is you're starting to see a lot of RVs that utilize things similar to this not realizing that Alliance brought this stuff to Market oh they didn't really even think about it until Alliance started saying Hey how do we make more with some of the space that's available it's just it makes sense you know there is always this little gap of space there so why not utilize it so great touch from Alliance with that now this is the real highlight back here I'm gonna just step into the shower because stepping in here I mean it's perfect for you yeah so you could be seven feet tall still fit in the shower there are very very few fifth wheels out there to begin with that are going to offer this size shower in them so whether you know you need the two bedroom aspect of this or I could see some people just looking at this with the appeal of this shower height being like Oh my gosh I just I need that height of shower and you're only going to get it when you put a bathroom on the back wall of a fifth wheel that's not elevated with even full profile fifth wheel yeah exactly so huge space in here you also have a vent fan up in the ceiling so you still have that up there as well can you get the natural lighting yep get all the natural Lighting in here with this window plus another big window on this side as well yeah yep plenty of room if you want to sit down on the toilet you can see that there's plenty of space there to do what you need to do and then a really nice looking countertop as well so the countertop here is actually a poured resin countertop so it's not your traditional solid surface countertop but I think it looks stunning it does I mean it looks absolutely it looks like really high-end Granite yeah but yeah I'm I love the countertops with this poured resin design on here yeah very nice backlit medicine cabinet here as well look at your storage in there and then we'll go through kind of some of your storage places in here also notice soft closed cabinets there so that's a nice touch they used to have soft closed drawers but now they've gone away from it it has magnetic holes yep magnetic holes there so you see me struggle a little bit to get that out that is because that is a tough magnet there that is definitely gonna hold those clothes but like that it has a soft closed cabinet doors um this is looks like it's all stained hardwood on this as well so nice good quality finish on that they also reinforced the drawers as well so they take the extra step of actually making a drawer or right here that's attached better so you don't have to worry about this part detaching from the rest of the body so the face of the drawers are actually built a little better definitely important so look at the storage in this bedroom real quick because I know people will want to see that there so gonna have some drawers that pull open here plus you're going to have a clothing Rod that goes across on both sides of your TV there and then you'll have six drawers that pull out so pull that out there not the deepest drawers ever but you have a lot of them yeah six of them and then storage underneath the bed of course a lot of people I'm sure y'all will ask if you can do something different with this space you sure can if you just start taking stuff apart yourself you'll find out that all of this will come out and you can kind of convert the space into whatever you may want then they would normally keep the other two chairs for the dinette under the bed as well correct yeah correct so really nice dinette table too and this is a legless dinette table so again with this space as well this is just secured into the sidewall if you just start taking the screws out this can come out and you can put whatever you want in the space it has a very unique finish to it yeah very unique finish on that it's not just a flat Square yeah it's a little details right so all right let's go up into the other bathroom and bedroom because this is a two bedroom coming into the bedroom here you're going to have a king size bed in the bedroom this has a Serta mattress on it so going to be a more freemium sort of mattress there actually this is like a fitted sheet that's on there so that's kind of nice it comes with that as well it's a linen fitted sheet yeah so you have that on there going into the bathroom area that you have a second full bathroom so I like this yeah you like the bathroom in there huh adjustable shower head height so you can adjust the height of the shower head have a nice bench that will flip up and then you also have a soft closed toilet seat so this is going to be a wooden toilet seat there and it is a soft close Alliance does a really good job JD actually was telling me this before we even walked in I'm just labeling everything that they want you to know as a function in here so definitely helps the consumers to understand what you're looking at better yep takes away some of that confusion because I know that's a there's a lot of that with people trying to figure out the differences and whatnot absolutely yeah it looks like a big closet you can open this up and yeah wow wow that is huge I know you really liked I love looking at the closet yeah lots of space in here lots of shelving um dryer connection here washer connection yeah so I want to point that out real quick when I first poured this unit I was like okay this is a little confusing to me because they have the center line for the dryer vent right there they have the water connection right here and I was thinking yeah where where do you put the dryer if the washer connections are right here so I have a feeling that that Center Line is supposed to be on this wall because the dryer should go here and plug into this outlet and this would just be for the washer that would make sense to me it literally might just be that somebody place the sticker on the wrong wall or something like yeah because yeah it should be washer on one side dryer on the other side typically in a closet like this but in reality it's not there's all that is showing you is where you can cut through the wall and you can do that on either side so it really doesn't matter so yeah you can do washer on one side dryer on the other do a washer and dryer yep um comes equipped with the TV in here you're also going to have the flip up storage space there that um countertop there flips up just like in the other bedroom yep so that nice touch nice little bench seat to the left there as well there's storage underneath you may have one no not on that side but I think some of their other ones happen but yeah you almost always will get storage in places you wouldn't think you'd have storage in these guys and of course storage underneath the bed on these as well oh there's your chairs there they are there's your other two chairs for the dining you know when we were in the back I almost forgot that we were in a two-bedroom unit I thought that was the main bedroom yeah so we're gonna go outside but y'all let me know what your thoughts are on this unit where you think it ranks in the you know all these battles of the two bedroom fifth wheels for 2023. yeah but I think it's definitely if it's not number one it's definitely top three all right so coming to the outside one of the first things I really noticed that is going to kind of separate the price point of this model with a lot of other ones down underneath here this is prepped to add a generator so most two um two bedroom fifth wheels are not going to come prep now they have options to order them prep very rarely do you actually see them ordered that way unless it's a custom order so this is already prepped from the factory for a generator that's a pretty big deal there then you're going to have all of your battery setups here it looks like you also have um a Renault renegie uh solar charge controller so you're gonna have solar eclipse on here as well I don't know exactly how many watts of sold around here I don't know JD do you have in I don't and I try not to go over some of that because they change it so often it's always changing well you have solar on here as well um that is an indication that the solar is there we'll come across it to this side real quick spot for a 30 pound propane bottle on that side the Nautilus water management system here so really nice confined space in there and then that door actually opens up here so you can access all your access while your connections back here yeah so that is a nice little touch as well where you can get to all of that equipment very easily when in the event that you need to yep nice big storage space here and then kind of a little interesting touch here this I believe is right here trash can is gonna go yeah that's what I thought they don't have the trash can in there so I was a little thrown off but you'll be able to access that from outside to change that yep and then that's pretty much it on this side let's venture over to the other side sure Kurt wrote a flex pin box up front big rubber back gasket right here this rotates helps dampening some of that road shock from the truck to the trailer and trailer to the truck like that your speakers are at more of like an earshot level they're not all the way on the top of the fifth wheel so this is a nice level that they're at you also have your LED lighting in the light strip plus the light over the door as well so two different lights that you have on the outside access to your storage from this side as well got your power cable connections and everything if you want to put a TV out here yep and then this looks like it's your propane report yeah water sprayport there so another area that Alliance kind of changed the industry no one was doing that no but Alliance adds that to their RVs is a standard thing yeah so great position for that too giving you a water source on your campsite right where you would be hanging out at yep and I'm gonna go all JD on him real quick do it do it this has an eight inch I-beam drop frame and it's paired to a 10 inch main I-beam frame and it has a three inch box section reinforcing that 10 inch I-beam underneath the suspension which is a really good thing so those little details like that those are the things that I sometimes miss that JD is just an expert in it so definitely appreciate that touch there no worries yeah we'll keep going solid steps yep solid steps here this is also a strut assisted step so it's not going to fall and crush your head if it is to slip out of your hands or anything like that when it's coming down so we'll be assisted there for you and then as we keep venturing back we're gonna go yeah go down underneath there G-rated tires these are Sterling tires it has the cre three thousand three three thousand more ride suspension on it you can see that big box section underneath the 10 inch I-beam so again very structural and it certainly makes the frame a bit more rigid and more reliable power and not too much left as we go to the back I love the alliance logo I think it's such a clean looking logo such a clean looking design you have your ladder to get up onto the roof now typically I would get up onto the roof but these are parked so close together and there's so much going on at the show I'm going to just leave that to maybe another time I can get to one of these at an RV lot um fully enclosed underbelly all your water tanks and water lines will be in that enclosed underbelly and then there should be 12 volt heat pads on the water tanks on this model we also have a uh a sewer hose storage under it because there is no bumper on the back yeah you do have a two inch receiver and it is rated for towing yeah it is you can see that four-way plug right there that four pin plug so it is rated for towing that's another big feature there and again no drop frame on this so you're going to have that added clearance off the ground there that you don't get in some of the other two bedroom models that will drop that frame so I think this in my opinion I mean babe come here real quick yeah what did you think about this I love the colors oh I know you love the colors what do you think about this model yeah you've seen some other two bedroom models now you haven't seen all of them but would you rank this one below any other ones that you've seen off the top of my head no I didn't think so either yeah but it's definitely in my top three if not number one just purely based off the seating space in the living room but I'm curious to know you all thought about it because you are the people that are looking at these and interested in buying them I'm curious what you think compared to all the other two bedrooms yeah and then real quick JD if you want to give yourself a plug one more time well first of all I'm gonna say I like this better than the Avalanche product because it doesn't have the drop frame the drop frame would worry me all the time when I'm towing for approach angles whenever you're trying to go up a hill or Upper Grade because the back of the RV is 10 inches closer to the ground than it currently is now and these overhangs are huge which mean very small elevations can cause the back to sweep down last thing you want to do is have this great trip you get out only to find you damage the frame of your RV because you scraped it on the ground so I like this floor plan better because they were able to do what they did with the space that they have so that's awesome I like a lot of stuff Alliance does because it's not revolutionary but it's evolutionary yeah they've taken things that other manufacturers just didn't think of and they've done it which is super awesome and that comes from their their history of you know their leadership working with all these other companies that they've come from so that's always cool um but no I really appreciate you having me on the channel I love being the cameraman and not having to think all the time of what I need to say but you know me I can't stop talking so sometimes I do have to comment occasionally all right that's what you know you're here for and why I'm so excited to collaborate with you because you bring this is why you should go and subscribe to multiple different people's channels on YouTube because we all bring a different little aspect of detail that we notice information that we have knowledge that we you know have accumulated and it's different from each person so it's nice to get a different perspective and JD definitely touches on things that I don't even think to mention especially not in the detail that he
