BESSIE | Truck Driver can change a BROKEN Airline in MINUTES with this system | NO CALL-OUT NO COST

today I have a special delivery from Adams Mory as they have a present for my truck okay I know what you're thinking why is a DA dealership giving you something for your scaner well Adams Mory is more than a dealership that deals with new and new staffs they actually provide a service for all mates of trucks buses Vans and even motor homes not only do they provide Full Repair maintenance and servicing contracts to keep you on the road and earning money they also provide a huge range of truck and trailer parts for all Mak including consumables and this is where I get to the present for my truck I am being provided with some Bessy Suzies which stands for best engineered spanel system in Europe B claim I know actually really excited to try them out as a driver that likes to sort things out myself on the road rather than waste unnecessary time on callouts and of someone that dreams of becoming an owner driver or running a smallage company so let's go and see what I think hello good morning how are you well thank you very much this is you this is the Bessie Airline system for you oh perfect so I can fit these to my truck and I will have no problem with broken Suzies from now on it's exactly that it's exactly what it's designed for thank you very much so we've dumped all the air out of the unit and trailer we're going to time it as well I reckon to see how long it does actually take our trusty mechanic Bruce at Wayne's transport is now changing the Suzies and he's using two spanners front and back as he would for a call out for a broken Suzie the Suzies that are connected into the back of my truck are extremely tight as they should be and are giving Bruce quite a hard time and this difficulty with the Suzies would happen on a normal breakdown but of course Bruce gets there eventually look at that right so now we need the yellow Suzie has a connection with it that should adapt directly to my truck is that screw directly on yes oh thread tape Bruce feels that a bit of frad tape is suitable for this connection to make sure that it's sealed and lubricated correctly I put it and there then the piece can confidently be screwed on to the unit and tight it up with spanners while we're here in the workshop what size spanner is that 27 27 once the connection for the yellow airline has been fitted we move on to the red Airline while Spruce is unscrewing the original difficult red Airline I unlock the new female end of the red Suzie for Bruce to fit how long it say tax about 20 minutes I don't think we'd be too far off that no and this end just here should just screw on to the original connection once again Bruce uses thread tape to protect the thread and then he can screw the connection directly on and tighten it up with the spanners whilst he's in the workshop that's yours now Jen yeah now I can replace the old with the new so it back push it on and then this lock goes around here to stop it pushing back on itself that's got attached to something doesn't it yeah but what really sensible to put it around the actual Airline cuz it just wear a hole might have to Cable TI it on or something all right so I need to keep that key safe and put it on the other end and we're done the the red Airline goes on just as easily as the yellow and these Suzies can also be bought with the European Palm cupin these Suzies are also accepted by the authorities on roadside inspections oh there it goes straight in and then I put the lock around the bottom so that there's no chance of it sliding down lock it into place and I'm going to Cable tie that on somewhere in a minute key bit put the key in safe place so the other end is the same as any other red Airline so you pull it back oh pull it Backes is that just go on then it's on oh as as soon as I put less effort into it it went on right what I also get with this kit is a Bessy bag and this is to keep your spare Airlines in my spare airlines are here so I'm just going to unwrap those a lot of big companies are now using the besie system to reduce downtime and are very pleased with the results I have a spare Red Connection and they can both go into the FY bag also have a spare Airline adapter for the gold connection so I'm going to put that in the bag as well put the adapters and my keys in a bag for safekeeping and put it into the Bessie bag I also have a Bessie line instruction manual it's quite a lot of information on there so I think it would be very difficult to get it wrong so there is also a sticker to put on the back of your cab now I'm not going to do that I'm not going to put a sticker this big on the back of my cab now I keep this tractor unit all the time so unless I am on holiday no one else will drive my unit and if they did they would make a phone call to Bruce and he would say the spare Suzie is in gemma's side locker so I'm going to put all the instructions in the bag with the Bessie kit and then there's no confusion about how change it you just follow me around I'll just follow you around so I've got a space in my side locker where I'm going to put the bag into and then if I get a broken Airline I can just go in to my side locker and change it within about 5 minutes so all in all that took us about 30 minutes but the main bulk of that was trying to get the old Suzies off because they were put on very well in the first place if we didn't have that issue it would have probably cut the fitting down to about 15 minutes and actually it's really easy to do now all I need to do is build up the air again and I can [Music] go so after a week with my new Suzies on I've had no problems whatsoever so I'm just going to pretend for now that one of them is broken and I'm going to get big boss Stuart Wayne to come and watch me change them to see what he thinks of the Suzies right so all you have to do is hold it basically that sort of thing and then like get you like are we going yet well it's it is recording but I won't I'll cut this bit out so we're going to pretend that my Suzie is broken my yellow Suzie is broken and I'm going to oh actually I'm going to time how long it takes me to change it so stopwatch going to start the stopwatch now so first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to put the trailer brake on and then I get the bag out of the side Walker and in here I have my spare yellow Suzie and I also have my key that is all I need oh and I need my gloves got my gloves right so all I need to do is take this one off with this key that releases there and then I just pull it back and that comes off instead of trying to get two spanners and unscrew it take that one off and then I can put this one on put the lock back around so it doesn't come off you put that one on and then all I need to do now is that did you stop the timer did you how how much was it go on 2 minute 8 2 minute 8 seconds oh 2 minutes that's you going to get the gloves and all sort yeah basically what I can do now with this is these heads are interchangeable so you can keep the heads so you don't have to buy those again you just buy the Suzie what what do you think oh they're brilliant oh they're really good yeah don't lose the key no no but I think it's like a universal key cuz it's one of those yeah yeah if you get a spare key yeah well I got one for each of them oh is it the same key yeah oh bring an idea yeah it's so simple it yeah so it says youo having to come out it says you having to lose a load something yeah thanks well that was definitely a success and we have approval of the big boss and you can't argue that 2 minutes and 8 seconds for the driver to do rather than having a hour and a half 2 hour maybe even three hour call out and losing a load is much better it's a thumbs up for me for the Bessie Suzies and if I owned my own Lori I would definitely get some
