[Music] Celeste is a game about many things determination mental health overcoming your fears and self-doubt but more importantly berries as you climb Celeste Mountain there are all sorts of barriers for you to collect and whether it's to impress your friends or to 100 of the game they are worth picking up along the way although there is more to these berries than meets the eye so let's have a look at the wonderful worlds of berries there are three main types of Barry in the game red berries golden berries and the moon berries the game has 202 berries in total 175 of those are red berries 26 are golden berries and one Moon bird red berries are obviously the most common and are spread throughout the Traxxas in the game although only in the a sites and there are none in Farewell Reflection collect a red berry you might think all you have to do is touch them and then land back on the ground but actually it's a bit more complicated than that according to the game's Creator Maddie Dawson the berry has to feel safe before you can collect it take this very in Summit when I collect it here the Barry will follow me but it won't collects either by Dash to this platform the berries still won't collects will only collect and I've made my way through the whole of the room across all of the obstacles then it will finally feel safe and collect if I die before I get to the end of the room I will lose the Barry and go back to where it was at the start there are some things to remember when search varies as well while many are hidden in plain sight some are tucked away in secret rooms or hidden behind blocks one interesting giveaway you may not know about is the ferries will always make a sound and give a subtle visual effects like this one in Golden Ridge we've already covered normal red berries there are two other special types of red berries we haven't talked about the winged Berry and the seeded Berry Wings varies as the name suggests are berries with wings attached to what's special about winged berries is you dash in the same room as the wingberry the berry will fly up and leave the room sometimes you can catch the berry just before it leaves but generally you will have to make your way to bury without dashing instead use wall jumps Springs and bumpers seeded berries are separated out into seeds make the berry appear you first have to collect all the seeds but there is a catch to touch the floor while you are collecting the seats they will instantly disappear and respawn back to their original conditions after collecting all the seeds the Red Berry will appear following this little cutscene and you can collect it as normal [Music] golden berries are unlocked after completing all of the games besides and are much rarer and harder to get than red barrels once you unlock them golden berries will appear at the start of every chapter including these sides and seasides if you touch them they won't collect and will instead follow you through the whole of the chapter but if you die you will lose the berry and be taken right back to the beginning of the chapter in other words to collect a golden Berry you need to complete a deathless run of the chapter this makes gone berries incredibly challenging to collect and makes the achievement collecting all 202 bearing very impressive indeed especially because this involves collecting the golden Berry in the farewell the longest and hardest tractor of the game anybody that does manage to collect all 202 berries will get a golden color for their ticket into that same one as well as normal gun berries there is also one golden winged Berry which you can collect in forsaken City this berries always waiting for you in the final room and you don't have to unlock it like the other goals you can even collect it from a new game if you want to collect it you have to complete the entire chapter without dashing a single time anytime you do Dash the golden wing Berry Fly Away off screen just like a normal Wing Barrel it may at first seem like this is possible but you can do it using some very precise wall jumps and Spike jumps and unlike other golf berries you don't have to do this deathless which is just as well considering how difficult this challenge is finally there's the moonberry moonberry is one of the kinds it's hidden rights at the end of farewell at the end of farewell after you break the last fuse box in the last ring you can Dash to a platform to the left instead of continuing to the right to finish the chapter if you keep going you'll eventually be led to a path leading up to a large blending platform here this platform is important since it acts as a checkpoint if you die at any point for reaching it you'll go all the way back to the beginning of the room which is one of the longest rooms in the game from this platform you can keep traveling up and eventually arrive at this strange room where the only way to proceed is with an intentional death after that you need to get to the end of another long room where you have to rise up to the top using a jellyfish and up dashes finally leading you up to where the moon buried is and also a bad line or allowing them to finish them [Music] fun fact at the end of the game in the epilogue Madeline makes strawberry pie for all her friends depending on how many berries you collect you can get different endings and the more berries you collect the better the pie will be here are the pies for 0 to 29 berries 30 to 49 berries 50 to 89 berries 90 to 149 berries and 150 or more bearings they even have their own sets of dialogue and ending splash screen if you want to see each of these then get good has made a great video showcasing all these endings I'll put a link to their video in the description then there's the berry train there's a small delay of about four frames that you need to wait for until the battery collects if you don't stay on the ground for long enough the Barry will instead follow you around the tractor waiting for a chance to collect this can happen to multiple berries at a time so you can end up with a long trail of berries following behind you providing you don't touch the ground for long enough this could be pretty satisfying as the berries will all collect at once when you stop even giving you an ironic one-up if you collect enough at one go but it does have a downside if you die at any point then all the berries following you will go back to their original positions and you will have to go back and collect them again so that brings us to the
