the below to death mod just dropped and it actually has a interesting story following the Sonic known as sync AKA drowning Sonic or Sinking Sonic now sync is obviously the main protagonist of the song and even though he's considered to be a exe he isn't actually evil I know that after all the Sonic mods that have come out over the last couple of months people associate exe with being blood coming from the eyes and trying to kill people but this one technically is not an evil force sync is basically just like regular Sonic except that he's gotten himself into a horrible situation where he has his ball and chain attached to his leg and is basically dragging him to the bottom of this watery pit where he's drowning now the reason he's in this situation is because Sonic is actually traveling through the Labyrinth Zone which a lot of you probably don't know about so let me give you a quick summary so the library Zone has actually been around since Sonic first came out the library Zone was basically this hidden Zone on Mobius and it was located on the south island and that's where Sonic had to travel through in order to defeat Dr Robotnik for the first time now it's interesting if you look at some of these images from the comic and just from the video game game in general you can look at the water and look at that greenish tint that it has and this is kind of reflected in the Friday night funkin mod because we see that Sonic doesn't look like his normal blue self he actually looks more tail and I believe the reason for that is because the water is actually that color and just a fun fact even though it's called The Labyrinth Zone when you actually look at it it doesn't look so much like a labyrinth and more just like a old school tomb something interesting and very sad about sync is that obviously he is drowning here but he's not technically dying his will to live is so strong that he's actually in a zombified state where he basically comes back to life just to drown all over again and waiting for somebody to finally rescue him this definitely has to be top three worst ways to die it's basically like being tortured for all eternity until somebody finally comes and gets him out of that predicament now some of the newer Sonic fans may be asking why didn't he just use the spin dash in order to get out of the chains but if you notice this takes place in Labyrinth which means that this appeared in Sonic 1 and basically back in those days the idea of the spin dash didn't even exist if you enjoyed this video make sure to check out this one where I fully explain the dead Brotherhood mod or check out this video where I tell you what your favorite Friday night funking character says about you thank you for watching this is Arts of course peace peace
