of more independence more love and i'm very excited to announce that right now we are working on a sequel uh to strangers again it's called strangers never again a quick 10 years have passed and it's time welcome to strangers i just want to say thank you all for for for doing this and being here and i know this is a crazy month and we're kind of we're squeezing in a massive production so uh just thanks for all the good attitudes and and uh just working so hard so we're gonna we're gonna make this we're gonna make this fun can i use the horn yeah yeah hey music transition right there [Music] this is a pretty interesting shoot in the way that it's kind of come together it's not like we're yappy we had like a solid two weeks it's like we're shooting today then next week we actually have a different shoot we're back into shooting strangers it's going to be a little bit all over the place in this bts but hopefully our editor will make it all cohesive first scene first shot you wanna four take one mark [Music] have you guys explained what this contraption is yet that's probably a crisp question so i have weak shoulders and back and so we're trying to shoot more handheld stuff so this is to help offset it you could say it's an easy rig basically it's a fishing pole on in a backpack that carries the weight of the camera yes okay that's why you're the first aed how many times have you stopped too many right i was not expecting this to happen are you trying to get the eye right now is that why no oh okay i think it'd just be scary i never thought this symmetrical straight on i'm actually like this is this thing works right this this rig like oh we just got it yesterday so we'll kind of see these are a lot of sharp edges [Music] hey everyone we got jasmine on set with us she's playing one of my ex-girlfriends jasmine was also in our series yappy in the season finale or series finale maybe this is like part of like the yappy extended universe maybe you know me and janine didn't didn't work out and i went after her friend instead wait wasn't her cousin i think that was her cousin oh god that'd be good that's so bad you wrote it you don't even remember oh yeah all right well this time we're we're in a relationship together and um yeah glad to have you back what we're having next i'm excited actually i do remember the first the strangers again i actually remember you texting me did i saying good job i was actually at the wong fu office i remember like i was leaving and i got i got your text what did i say good job i think it's like good job with it yeah something something quick full circle here oh and here i am yeah now you're in this one that's crazy can we get slated can we get slated all right uh bts uh west's interview take one and crawling or i guess like how does it feel to be back on set with this i don't remember a lot about the first production except it was small this is a much more organized production much more high level production let's just say this i never thought that we would do a sequel that's that's pretty crazy and you know another 10 years we'll do the the trilogy i hope we keep doing them until until someone passes away so like the new fast and furious for every 10 years yeah yeah yeah and then uh there's so many spin-offs straight but this is already never again so what would the next one be called two strangers two strangers two again it'd be like forever strangers one more time and every time i saw her i got family [Music] [Music] this looks like um like a stage show like i'm about to do like a one-man one-man play one man one act one set play sad boy i don't think we should have taken that's a wrap on day one one day one rat straight as again baby here we go here we go started baby what is happening it's happening day one is easy it's we're starting light which is always smart so everyone's in good spirits so yeah it's only going to go uphill from here in a good way uh we're having some mishaps camera died apparently i don't know the logistics but you know i'll try my best it's day two it's our first day with with uh kathy and uh her camera didn't work today but we have a backup luckily taylor brought his camera trusty trusty taylor camera we shot a lot of good things on that that means this will automatically be a good thing it's happening this this is the stuff that just happens when you make big movies i think like for us it's like oh man that one bad thing that happens on set we already got past it sorry sorry you can edit it out it won't matter [Music] jen start clearing up space on your iphone we're good to shoot the whole thing yeah yeah we're gonna shoot strangers telling them like people like the grainy look nowadays so like i think it's fine okay 1080p spine 720 it's retro what other numbers you know uh pi is 3.14 uh i definitely know that's all you can go [Music] can you reenact it for us wow what a terrible show you're supposed to hold these things all right take a deep breath okay [Music] the prom queen hi [Music] studying right now i haven't studied in years just learning my lines it's my first day on set so it's exciting it's been going really well though it doesn't feel like it's been 10 years but last time it was just literally just two three other people but now it's like a whole production set all y'all are here and it's it's real so yeah a lot has changed but also not a lot because i still love working with von we hustled them you're just getting destroyed it [Music] that's a wrap on khalifa and amanda though [Music] hey so we are doing this deal we get in this house what are we doing 1.78 mill is chump change for my hobby great you have a credit card thank you so much it's so good to have you guys back thank you so long that's a wrap on day two yeah we are on day three we're about to head over to kathy's house to film some more montage scenes uh we're all packed out of here we're all stretched out and ready to get the day started it's a nice little retreat at the same time we just had breakfast yeah we're gonna be here the next couple days so you'll see this location a lot and yeah we're making progress oh she hates me that'll be very tragic [Music] we're back at marissa's house and it's the best day ever because we're with ayla say hi hi hi everyone who is this what's my name my name is auntie you forgot already well yeah she knows my name i i mean i've been wanting to meet isla for you know her whole life now her girlfriend but she's a pandemic baby too she's been in hiding for the past year so okay this is a bit exciting for today kathy is like you're gonna be really tired of her soon building no i have energy i'm getting quite tired already yeah no i'm not gonna lie i'm not gonna lie [Music] hi love come [Music] [Music] oh yeah how about uni is yoona gonna eat cereal yeah yes you're just getting injured that's my name [Music] so she is i'm gonna be laura are you laura yeah yeah i don't know she's busy right now hello i swear best friends right played at new orleans right um right isla are we friends yeah why do you sound so uninterested in me we're shooting a lot of the lara scenes with kathy and her daughter isla it's so cute uh it's always like a unique you know filmmaking challenge to work with kids but i was so adorable and so energetic she loves the camera too every once in a while you catch her like spiking camera how about we're shooting a bunch of different things we had kathy helping her get ready in the morning we're having her brush her teeth comb her hair get ready with clothes and picking out outfits and stuff oh probably pretty uh pretty good stuff oh okay so i can go home no jumping around no more jumping it's too hot for that baby you're gonna keep sweating [Music] ah you did i'm so proud of you what do you think it looks legit i believe it well yeah i'm gonna have to do it later so we are shooting a scene where um marisa kathy is gonna be running okay um so she's gonna be on the street and we don't have like a a steady cam so we're actually just gonna be in this car uh driving in front of her alongside of her very slowly and very safely but she can't run that fast anyways you know so someday we'll have a process trailer but until then it's chris strapped to a car but we'll get there someday and we'll think about this moment so if i'm right i also said that five years ago when we were also shooting loop back without separation give a give a like drop a comment for chris and watch the graphics your backpack is now the car [Laughter] it's like i'm wearing a car so you put the car on so we're gonna get these running shots with kathy safety is always important so please practice safety when filming uh this is some advanced stunts that we're doing [Music] all right good job today kathy thank you day three wraps yeah you you ran it today you ran today shoot literally thanks all the eyelash stuff it was always really great and uh we
