[Music] hey guys welcome back to Microtech knives on today's episode what we're going to do is talk about some of the R&D that our engineering department does to provide a better product for you we kind of have the mindset here that the best is never good enough and we take that another step so Jason what do we have back here well what we have here right is a machine that tests the internals and how many times we can actually cycle these knobs as far as I find in and out and things like that yeah this was actually designed and built by one of our engineers here and kind of a neat little piece actually so basically they designed fixtures so they'll have these fixtures they'll sandwich our knives in there and then they will fire them Jason do you know how many times you've heard some numbers some of our knives like the exit they get up over 80,000 80,000 firing cycle that is crazy so guys we're not just sitting back on our laurels we're always trying to be you know bring a better product to you guys this is not part of our QC program this is actually part of engineering and R&D to make better internals to put better Springs than the knives for you that's right so we'll show you up close what this machine does and how it fires but once again this isn't something you can buy it's something that we actually built a mate yeah [Music] [Music] guys if you haven't checked this out check us out on YouTube Facebook Instagram we're all out there like share and subscribe if you haven't seen it we'll talk to you soon
