BEGINNING MY JOURNEY IN THE GENESIS SIMULATION! - Ark: Genesis [DLC Gameplay E1]

what is happening oh my god is that an avalanche dude that's totally an avalanche what what the hell do i do I run I'm so confused what do I do it's a freaking avalanche what do I do it so today is the day we are starting our Genesis series I'm very very excited to get this one started this is gonna be a standalone series so it's not part of like the cluster or anything like that and I'm really excited to get going so guys go ahead and hit the like button if you find yourself enjoying this one it really does help me out and I do appreciate it of course and show your extra support for the very first episode of this awesome series because that would make me it would make me smile anyway so what is on the series what we have s plus that's the only mod I don't know fall out anymore probably not but I don't know I'll mention it if we do and in terms of rights I have five times taming one point in five times X P gather is I think it's three or maybe it's four I think it might be four I might have some other stuff available my discord at some point but um yeah and then the breathing settings are pretty much the same as I usually use like 50 times half speed and and maturation anyway so let's get going there's gonna be a tiny little cinematic thingy and then we're going to get into it [Music] welcome to the genesis simulation here you'll be tested across five buyers oh my god everything's dangerous that's a rapture okay it's the safe to be in this water okay so there's a lot of dangerous things are out here we got to fix this glitch over here let's try and do that without getting killed oh we could do it from here okay so don't go near that unless I have a mask can I harvest something from that I wonder Oh Mike what's hitting me what is hitting me what is happening oh is this the gas maybe oh it must be oh those are those tiny little bugs stay away from me my oh my god there's a lot of them now are they targeting me they are targeting me oh my god insect swarm No please leave me be please how do I get away from them where do I even go oh my god like I've played around a little bit but I actually have not experienced the world at all properly so we're gonna experience it here for the first time together and I'm feeling very nervous without my dreadlocks we need to get those very soon so you know what actually let's just take a little look at Hellena for a second so she's got a couple different modes on her in case you wondering the mode right here that we have a rival protocol this is to do with the final boss so what you got to do is you got to actually complete a bunch of missions to fight the boss at the different different the different difficulties oh my god they're coming after me aren't they oh my god oh there's a snake okay keep running there's a raptor over there too everything's terrible I hate it so are we safe over here maybe others the snake coming after this let's uh you know what let's go over here I want to go ahead and maybe try to grab some some wood and some - oh my god there's a sarkar oh there's so many terrible things this regents supposed to be easy what the hell man I got lied to but um yeah with Elena you can find a bunch of missions and to basically do the final boss you need if complete a certain amount of them that's a cap row and we're dead you know what do we even want to live in the bog maybe not from the very start let's not be in the Arctic either lunar is very hard let's go to the ocean even though it does say hard I don't know how well this is gonna go though cuz I know for a fact that these little ocean cliffs that you actually spawn on they're um they're pretty steep if she gonna okay I thought she's gonna say something they're pretty steep but you can't really get back up oh man alright let's talk to her just a little bit so um yeah that is the rival protocol that is essentially how you do the final boss and everything like that which by the way I've got a video about that up on the channel if you want to check it out we've got biome teleportation where we can actually teleport to any one of the biomes and we could pick a bunch of different regions to go in as well which is very very nice we've got exchanged hexagons which we actually have a thousand we have a thousand from when we when we fix that glitch just a few seconds that were a few minutes ago even and we can spend them on some things so if I wanted to I could buy two crab pods but I won't what should we buy I mean should we even buy anything maybe we should just save them so we've got some loot crate's here in case you're wondering what these things are they're like different tiers and they're quite expensive actually so I don't know if we're gonna be able to get any of that anytime soon if I fix ten glitches though I'll get 10,000 hexagons and then and then yeah maybe we could get that one I don't know if there's anything good in there though that's the only thing so I imagine that these are like kinda like the almost beacons of this map you gotta use these to potentially get some blueprints and other things you can also do missions which will give you some items to which is very nice but you know what enough about all that let's actually get into surviving and what better way to start than to start punching the crap out of a tree and then looking for a rock which I'm probably not gonna find or am i there's a lot of fiber around here actually very very nice this biome is beautiful by the way the bog is nice but it's kind of scary like there's a lot of bad things in there I feel like we're not gonna survive very well over here either unless we get ourselves a raft so we should do that we should definitely definitely do that I'm not sure if leads sick this spawn on this map actually if they do that's gonna be terrifying they probably do I don't know if they do let me know down below um oh man alright let me okay I can't have the rest that apparently it's just it's illegal let me see so is there any like rocks around here at all what is this oh we got a little little Archaeopteryx hello you're a beautiful color actually very very nice I don't have anything to tame him with though unfortunately I mean I don't know if he might take berries I know he takes like chitin though that's a kibble let me see my god I don't think there's any rocks at all I don't think they exist we might have to buy some rocks off of Hellena she owns the monopoly for rocks unfortunately oh by the way guys if you are looking for a an arc server go ahead and check out G portal monopoly for that unfortunately so hopefully one day they'll release you guys and you'll be able to get some better servers alright so we've got seven levels already which is kind of crazy let's go ahead and make that and yeah let's just pump everything into wait because why not and we want some basic stuff right here did s+ add incorrectly that is the question it kind of looks like it didn't but that's okay I could fix that later let's go ahead and just learn some of the basics here foundation could work probably not gonna need too much of this stuff down here right now we're almost out of bow already which is kind of crazy um so yeah I don't I don't think there's like any rocks at all up here so lucky I found that glitch earlier do I do I jump down I don't know I don't know if I should I don't even know if I can get back up at all it's probably not a very good idea to do that like look I could see those scary fish down there or is that a whirlpool no that's a whirlpool yeah I don't want to be down there not right now so this might be our little safe haven for the moment oh man it's kind of crazy there's like almost no land over here it's really really crazy I wonder can I get over there like I think that there's one or two spots that has a little bit of land but man we're probably gonna really struggle can I get up here there we go oh no let's get up come on let me up understand why there's like hardly any land to be on you probably have to be a little bit set up before you want to explore this biome so maybe we should restart somewhere else there's some sharks over there we don't want to run into those right now unless we do want to die I don't know if we do I don't know just yet I want to kind of just like look around just see if there's like a little bit of land we can maybe just chill out on if there's any resources anywhere nearby which there probably isn't yeah you know what screw it probably gonna have to die there's like I'm so confused there's like nowhere for me to even get back stem so I'm gonna end up drowning eventually so we might as well just go ahead and commit not alive really quick let's go over here and maybe bug these sharks check out the lunar biome let's just spawn here just see what it's like I honestly like I kind of just want to check out each biome like properly instead of like flying around in like admin mode like raptor over there and that's a defense unit oh hello we got a tech trike over here they finally added it in that skin has existed for millennia I think we are almost dead already that is a Tec Rex let's not go that way there should also be some tech gigas around which is a little bit scary but um yeah I love the the low gravity they did a really good job on it honestly let's just I want to see what it's like when you're like walking okay it looked a little bit different a second ago I don't know why let's let them kill me cuz they're gonna anyway bite me oh man we're gonna die so many times here today I want to actually just spawn there one more time and just kind of check it out a little bit more all right here we go oh man I love that spawn animations really cool we also low on oxygen it doesn't look like we are I thought they said that we would be oh hello oh it's like the little water spouts on them on extinction yes oh my god this is beautiful look at this there's my death beam see there we go okay should we check out a different biome yeah we might as well let's go ahead and let's check out the volcanic area and then I feel like we might try and live in the Arctic area I kind of want a little baby fee rocks or ferox whatever I keep calling them a fee rocks and I'm sorry but yeah let's see here we go go Hellena there we go we're here amazing alright we don't we got to remember I don't have amazing I don't have amazing jumping skills in here there was a really rich metal node back there if I can actually get my hands on some stuff but I'm probably gonna die and not be able to grab any of my stuff back let's go down here and just see if we can see any biome specific creatures that is a Bellavia hello why are you there why do you have to be a thing please leave me it's a volcanic Triceratops which looks very very nice my god you are so pretty I really hope we can mutate all those regions because I wants me a cool cyan glowy one let's see what's down here is well um yeah I don't know what is down here we've got a Iguanodon dude what else is down here nothing really I can hear some noise I don't know what it is though I feel like it's there's little vents we got another glitch over there the little purple beams are glitches so we should probably go over there and actually fix that because if you fix all the glitches in the regions that's actually one of the missions so it's worth going over to them cuz you get hexagons and like it's also part of the missions so very very important let's go over there really quick then hey we got to watch out all right we got some of the koulang keys for this region they look very very nice but I'm gonna run no no okay nevermind we're not gonna get that that glitch fixed oh my god what is wrong with my back just there alright arctic area let's go let me live in this area without killing me ten billion times again okay are we good we go spawn and there we go and we're in alright sweet so got a little lake here with some salmon and I am relatively cold actually it is quite cold here my feet are very very cold in the snow go ahead and quickly just grab up some fiber and I think these are trees I can punch maybe no that's the fiber tree interesting is there a tree I could punch potentially or maybe even some stone on the ground maybe I don't know where on earth are we oh there's a glitch over there let's go fix that sweet ok let's go over here what okay what do we got we have a tree over here actually we can fix the glitch in a minute let's try and just let's just try and get a pickaxe if we can may actually just grab a little bit more fiber I feel like maybe if I throw on a cloth armor maybe that might that might keep me alive I don't know we'll say I can only put on like three pieces it's probably not gonna keep me alive we should probably pump just a little bit of fortitude alright boom boom this is not gonna keep me alive at all it's I've still got a die but that's fine I want to fix this glitch first hopefully I could spawn in the same area again I've become very attached to this cloth armor and I would really like to keep it all right we got a glitch to fix let's go to it Hellena let's do this before I freeze to death what is happening right now is that a Sat or a snowstorm why did I say sounds fun here we go boom oh you get XP from that I'd never even realized and that's gonna kill me no that's not gonna help and I'm gonna die wait for it oh hello horse hey alright let's see come on we got it we got a spawn back there we got to not lose our cloth armor this is so silly like I'm just constantly dying hey there's my body amazing we can slowly level up look at that fish to the ground let's see oh there's a bunch of fish actually out of the water hmm let's see did I actually grab a stone at all I think I might have I'm not sure if I did to be honest but I feel like I might have alright let's see what is that okay that's just a horse we're good we're good let me see so give me that thank you very much good sir is there any stone I can pick up around here maybe no it looks like I could probably pick those up I could probably pick them up but I guess I can't interesting okay we got some stone what is this though is this an oil node like it might be is there a way to use the okay cool by the way there's actually a way to look at wild creature stats right now which seems very cheesy in my opinion as you can see hit pitch and just target it and as you can see you can see all of its stats right there and you can decide whether or not you want to tame and I'm not sure if that's something that we could do on all maps using Hellena that would seem really Opie but yeah let's uh let's go ahead and make that pickaxe really quick I'm gonna be dead in like a second it's not even gonna matter but it's worth getting anyway let's just make a bunch of hats just to level up this is not going as well as I thought it would I really thought that we would be at least fighting one of the bosses by now but it's just not happening for me at all and we're we're gonna die can we craft all the hats first though please don't let my hat dream go to waste okay can I harvest anything here let's see no don't think I can can I harvest anything at all like is this harvestable no okay great no come on let me have all my hats you better okay I think we're gonna be good we're gonna have all the hats it's gonna be a great time this is going very very well I hope you guys are enjoying you know it's just a bunch of death this is it's pretty difficult though like to get the to get the hang of this area I guess all the areas I mean we took them all out and we're dead again we checked them all out but I feel like this is the only one I want to try and survive in right now I mean the the bog just seems very very dangerous and I don't know if I'm really worthy of a of taking on that biome right now let's see I feel like I'm definitely not ready for it it's it's probably just gonna eat me let's see which one is my fresh body I feel like it might be this one and I'm getting caught in everything amazing come on what do you got for me there bud alright so is there like anything I can really do around here is there any point of trying to move away probably not I'm gonna need some hide armor I would assume that would be a smart next step but I constantly dying let's see we got our Spears I never even put them onto my hotbar we might as well just like let ourselves die and then and then come back and go down and and then fight that horse cuz he's just gonna have bolt and I'm not gonna be able to catch him so I'm just gonna sit here and wait for death because why not wait can I get up here maybe get some fiber while we well wait for death probably not but let's try it anyway heyy I'm doing it and I'm dead amazing alright let's see can we get back to our body now oh my God look at all these dead fish what happened why are they all dead they all just like I guess swam out of the water which sucks they're all just dead though that's really upsetting alright let me let me go ahead and maybe grab some meat off of some of them I mean why gonna need another fire to properly start healing up really quick but not bad not bad go ahead and just eat all these berries gonna get some Healy's going and boom and then that I guess we can eat all the seeds if we want to okay so let's see let's try and hit some more trees here get a little bit more wood going yeah the Arctic is probably gonna be the place I'm gonna have to survive for just a little bit the Box too scary everywhere else is just too terrifying and undead Lee and you know there's more things that probably want to eat me in the lunar biome and it would not be a good idea to try and start out there let's say let's go ahead and make a door frame a door we're gonna need a bunch of all seven of them to be precise and then two roofs so there we go amazing we're gonna have this fantastic little fetch house on radar both a CH the best kind let's see alright so let's try and lay this out a little bit I you know what I kind of want my door to be like here that's a really nice spot for a door I definitely recommend right here for your door it's a simple fast build I could show you guys this is a tutorial you're gonna have to place this wall right here there you go and then the last wall actually goes right here believe it or not we're gonna have some extra walls because I'm a dum-dum and I apparently I apparently just made a crap ton of them today actually yeah i miscounted in my head that was really dumb alright let's see what else we have our ceilings coming we should probably should be level any more fortitude let's go with some weight for the moment up my poo you get that if you're in your home something with like a roof and four walls or whatever so that that will help you like heal up and keep you good against the elements but we're gonna need to come out of here though because we need to actually get ourselves a bow speaking of bow I should probably learn it that would be intelligent let me see both boom learn that learn that learn that what else should we get uh magic paste eventually I guess uh what else is useful right now though I don't really think there's too many other things actually all right well is there any or other trees some more Spears we got tons and tons of metal around here I could probably sell the metal I should probably open up like a little shop or something there's like some scary noises by the way I don't got a little box we got to put this in the house very important it's just gonna like break my base if it hits it I don't even know we should probably just drop something so we can get over there quicker alright let's see hopefully that doesn't break my face it doesn't look like it even heard it at all but I don't think he came right up to it am I seriously gonna struggle with getting in this frickin door are you kidding there we go alright so boom and let's just put everything into there yes I'm sure I want to pull what do you mean of course I want to do that I click the button for a let's make ourselves a bow and then 23 hours okay that's a good amount I'm gonna need more thatch though alright we should probably hit up the the little cactuses over here for the thatch definitely the best way currently alright let's go ahead and just reload this sweet was there any like small creatures like a Lystra or anything around I don't think that there was but if I see something like that we definitely got to kill it you know what I've just realized I'm not even wearing any like cloth armor wow I could have been absolutely just destroyed if I didn't put this cloth hat on right now amazing alright okay now how are we doing are we even gonna be able to survive here I feel like we're not gonna be able to survive at all but we're gonna keep trying what is even down here I see rhinos oh I see a horse amazing if only I had just a little bit of oh you know what let's I was about to say I had a little bit of height I can make a bola and if I have the bola I can kill the horse and if I can kill the horse I get the meat and if I get the meat that I can cook and I can eat it and survive and I'll also get some hide so yeah let's go ahead and do that let's just let's just buy some hide amazing let's just buy a little bit you know what let's let's actually buy a bunch that way maybe we don't actually have to fight the horse right now let us go ahead and quickly just make up like a full set of hide armor if I can actually unlock it what level is that unlock dad ah we're not even there yet look at that oh I'm totally gonna have to go ahead and kill that horse aren't I all right we're gonna need some stone for some bolas let's go ahead and do it it's got to be done what can I say boom boom boom boom boom alright five of them probably good go ahead and get some fiebre oh man so yeah this is it's pretty fun so far I mean obviously this is a it's not really gonna be a good map for beginners it's it's pretty it's pretty harsh in every environment so far that we've been in so yeah you definitely definitely want to like try to pick one that's gonna suit you oh I'm going to die I am totally gonna die because I was not watching my help and now we are totally going to die but maybe we can be okay possibly if I can get a little bit closer we're gonna have to just have like sit inside or whatever at just um and heal for like 10 minutes am I even gonna be able to get in here no what is wrong with my house I'm just gonna pick up the wall whatever I don't care all right so we still have our housing buff alright let's say well we're beside our fires is that gonna keep me alive I guess it might let me go ahead and just eat all of the berry like god we got to kill that horse definitely before the end of this episode that's that's the dream all right I'm just way like the little like purple hints to the bushes is very very nice okay well that's a bear right there bears in Ark do agro on you they do not in Atlas and I keep forgetting that that they don't agro on you in Atlas alright I guess we can't go that way it looks good this way instead we can walk around the Rhinos that's fine I think the bear might not agro all right I guess oh I thought he was coming for me for a second I guess we can go ahead and maybe kill this horse we could possibly also tame it but I don't really want to sit around for like 10 hours with a thingy okay it did work right there for the moment let's quickly get back to base before we die of something and where is my base it's like right up here it's very hard to like see where my little thatched hut is like right over finally had not died in a little bit we have ourselves a nice little thatched base but that's probably gonna change at some point I want to maybe like a venture off and try to tame a baby little ferox
