BEAUTY ROUTINE FAVORITES! MAKEUP + HAIR | DYSON AIRWRAP REVIEW

hello everyone and welcome back to my channel today i'm switching things up with a beauty video i thought i'd share my beauty routine favorites along with the hair tutorial that you guys have been asking for with the dyson air wrap and i have gotten so many requests to do that so that's gonna be sharing with you guys today a little review on some tried and true beauty favorites like my holy grail foundation powder mascara all those beauty products along with some new products that i'm going to be trying out i already finished filming the look so this is the makeup look that i'm sharing with you guys and i use this new hourglass palette that is spoiler really great like some holiday gift sets like this one right here and a few others and i can't wait to share with you guys um i can't believe like all the holiday gift sets are out so i thought i'd share some new ones with you guys and we're gonna test them out and i'll let you guys know my thoughts on them and i also would like to single order they just have such an amazing variety and they just brought out all the holiday gift sets as i said it's the perfect time to try out some new beauty products i'm also gonna be sharing my holy grail products as i said so it'll all be linked down below alright so i have so much to share with you guys i can't wait to share this makeup routine and hair tutorial so if you want to see more then keep on watching all right so we're going to get started with makeup first then i'll show you guys the hair it's already washed and i'm just letting it air dry a little bit and then we will go in with the dyson ear wrap which a lot of you requested for this video so i already started off with my foundation um and primer so that's all i've done in under eye concealer um so i figured just to save on time i would already apply it but my favorite foundation and it's from nordstrom it is by charlotte tilbury it is the airbrush flawless foundation you guys this is my second bottle of this and i'm like already a third of the way through the bottle it is so good it's in a pump i am in the shade 7.5 neutral when i went to fashion week what was it like over a year ago now and the makeup artist matched me with this color this is like my self-tan shade i don't know how the lighting is going to be but yeah this is my self-tan shade you can see what it looks like on you guys this is amazing like there's just so many amazing skincare benefits in this foundation as well so if you're looking for a medium to full coverage foundation um this is my favorite i've used laura mercier silk cream foundation for years and years and it's saying a lot for me to convert to this because i that was like my holy grail foundation so this is amazing if you're looking for a really good foundation i think even compared to a lot of like the higher end foundations this is a nice price point and of course with nordstrom you get the free shipping on any order they do even like free samples which is nice too so that is foundation and then i'm actually going to set my foundation with the charlotte tilbury this is the airbrush flawless finish this is amazing you guys i actually have a backup already and i'm just gonna go in with a powder brush and just use a very small amount i just press my brush into the powder and then i just kind of pat it especially down my t-zone where you might get oily i would just mainly focus it on that and then a very light dusting over my cheeks just to set everything and that's it like it takes it's so quick um i use this with a beauty blender and i find that that's like the best application you could use a foundation brush you guys let me know what you use for foundation a brush or do you use a makeup blending sponge um i just find that beauty blenders work the best so yeah this is you guys if you try anything i recommend this foundation i'm just gonna clip my hair back i got these clips and that way maybe that will help so it's not like all in my face probably would have been easier if i did that during the foundation okay that's better so and now i'm going to i just bronze up my face a little bit to add a little bit of warmth and that is like i feel like a game changer for me um because i just need that color back into my skin um i'm really excited because i just got this on nordstrom site like i said this is going to be some old favorites but some new products i thought it would be fun to just try things out together on camera and just see how they work so this next i got this palette it is a highlight blush and bronzer palette from hourglass and it is the prettiest packaging i think this is limited edition packaging nordstrom has like so much of the holiday sets out now which you're going to see some holiday sets too that i got i'm so excited i live for a holiday set i just think the packaging is always so pretty and like cheery and whatnot it just gets me already i'm so excited for the holidays so this is the ambient lighting edit sculpture palette so let's do a little bit of the bronzer in here i'm gonna take my bronzer brush and then we're going to take this shade right here so they have like a little outline of it on a piece of paper that they put in the packaging and explain exactly what to do with each product but i'll share with you guys how i'm gonna use it it gives you like that soft diffused look i actually had a palette with these i think it's almost these three colors it's very similar if not from hourglass um and i remember it being just like that soft like very airbrushed look it kind of like makes your makeup look so much more blended so i'm really liking the finish of this it's so pretty it's a soft it's not like shimmer like glitter on your face um it definitely is just like that very soft focused look okay now for blush again with a lot of makeup products i don't usually switch it up that much i like stay in my regular routine you guys let me know do you like stick to a specific makeup routine and don't like try anything really else new or do are you like every day switching it up with different products i usually do the same thing because like when i find something i love i just continuously use it and then once in a while like switch it up like i am now as i am overdue for trying some new blushes so i am going to try let's just see i'm going to swatch a little bit actually on my hand this one's more like a corally color in the middle let's see more like a pink coral and then this one which i think i'm gonna use on the bottom right of the palette okay that's the color this one right here oh my gosh it's so pretty okay i'm gonna try this let me tap off clean off my brush a little bit okay so it's like a swirly color so you kind of just swirl it let's see how this looks oh that's really pretty that color is really nice it's like right up my alley see the other cheek that is a really pretty blush there's like a little bit of sheen to the blush which gives your skin like that inner glow and it makes it just look so fresh and like really clear and just like glowy it's just hard to describe but if you guys try it out let me know how you like it this is really nice this is like a top rated palette so i'm really loving this and now we're gonna go in with the highlight shades i'm actually just gonna use the tip of this blush brush because i didn't bring it in my little closet office area the lighting is so much better in here so that's why i'm filming in here sometimes i will just use it on top of my blush anyway oh my gosh that highlight is really nice oh my gosh i love this it's nice that you have like everything all in one especially in the future if you're traveling this is really nice to have all the products in like one palette and it's so pretty all together so this highly recommend this is a definite like really nice palette some of the palettes from some brands sometimes you only use like two out of say the six products or something in it but this one like every single shade in here is really nice it's great for like every day it's not like you know anything too crazy it's a really nice everyday color which i love so that's really really good i really love that palette all right now we're gonna do brows which i'm just gonna quickly fill in i don't go too crazy with brows i've just been doing this pencil and i think that it is just really nice just to fill in any sparse areas nothing too major so my brow routine has been pretty quick i used to do like this whole thing with like a little bit of powder and pencil and then gel but lately i've just been kind of like you know skipping all those steps and i'm just like loving the easy brow routine because it could get you know i don't want my makeup routine to take too long so brows are done that was pretty quick we're gonna move on to eyeshadow so um eyeshadow is one of those things that i really don't brunch out with especially like the specific type of palette i really don't branch out and i stick with like browns and like neutrals and like i said it's just like kind of like what i'm used to and what like my comfort zone is with eyeshadows but i've really been wanting to switch things up a little bit and just try something new because it's kind of like you get sick of the same routine over and over sometimes and i thought for fall this palette from bobby brown oh my gosh the colors in here they're still neutral and very wearable for every day but i just really like was intrigued by the colors in this palette so i'm like really excited to try it out it still has like the browns and champagne colors that i'm used to but there's a little bit of like burgundy a little bit of soft pink and like some plum with some shimmer some are matte some are shimmery like i said i've tried bobbi brown's eyeshadows before she makes really nice quality eyeshadows so i thought this palette was really beautiful if you're looking just for something fun to switch up in your routine this is a really nice palette to try so i'm going to show you guys like i said this is like a first impressions let's get to my eyeshadow brushes and staying hydrated with water i do my eyeshadows in like a different order than most people i feel like so this is just what works for me but feel free to do them in any order that um is easiest for you and look if we talk about the outside of the packaging it's so pretty it's really nice with like gold like shimmery design on it so cute okay so i'm gonna take this shade right here the second one from the laptop left so we're just gonna pack my eyeshadow brush in and i'm gonna go all over the lid with this shade let me see if there's a color name to it oh yeah there is so champagne truffle it says it's a shimmer wash eyeshadow actually i'm gonna kind of mix it between champagne truffle and pink bubbly this one right here just a little bit add that in oh that's a really pretty so just get it all over your lid and then i'll usually do like kind of like a medium tone for the crease to start and then i'll define with a darker color so let's do this color and the top right over here this is called vintage velvet and let's just see how that goes it's still kind of light so i should probably pick a darker color um let's do this color right here so i'm just going to start with a very small amount i could always build up i don't know how pigmented this specific color is gonna be oh it's really nice this is the color i was looking for i feel like it's always like hard to do eye makeup on camera okay so you could totally just stop here if you wanted like a really natural just everyday neutral eye and but i'm just going to kind of deepen it and go between these two on the bottom on the outer sections of the palette so the left side and the right side i'm just gonna mix the two to add a little bit of plum and just define it i do like a small v like a sideways v on the outside and that will just give you a little bit more definition okay i really am loving this palette i'm just gonna take a fluffy brush now to kind of just like blend it all together and soften any harsh lines just swirl your brush around do like windshield wiper motion just anything just to blend it you want to make sure it's really well blended okay loving this eye look i'll probably do a close-up shot of it so you guys could see um and then i'm just going to take this shade in the top left and then just put it under my brow just a little bit and there is the finished eyeshadow okay so now i am going to go in i'm going to line the top lid with this eyeliner it's getting pretty short this is from nordstrom it is the charlotte tilbury eyeliner and i love their eyeliner so much it's been like a favorite of mine for many months now and i am just going to line the top of my eye so now on my bottom lash line i love to do a shadow stick um underneath to give you that like soft diffuse like eye shadow look under your eye but without any kind of like fall out or anything like that i find that doing an eye shadow pencil and i'll show you guys what i mean so i love this eye shadow stick from laura mercier i've been using this actually for years this is like the large one and actually it actually lasts very very long and so i like haven't even repurchased this yet because i've had it for so long but when i saw this mini gift set i'm like okay i need to try this as their mini eyeshadow sticks so they're called the this is the grand overture mini caviar quartet and it's in this beautiful holiday packaging and it comes with a set of four mini caviar sticks so here's what they look like the packaging is so cute so gift to somebody on your holiday gifting list or treat yourself and this is so cute i feel like these still even though they're mini they're gonna last you so long because i've had this for so long um so then you get four of them so the color i always use is called burnished bronze so this kit comes with four of them and like i said i'll show you guys what they look like on i'll do like swatches so you guys can see these look like they're a really good everyday colors like they're not just like really out there colors um these are good natural colors the first one is oh natural i think i'm saying that correctly magnetic pink intense moonlight and rose gold they all sound so pretty i'm gonna quickly swatch them let's see some of these are nice like champagne colors too which you could use on like the inner part of your eye you could also just use these like regular eyeshadow too but i mainly use mine to wear under my eye i think i'm going to use intense moonlight it's like a soft neutral oh they're really pretty i'll have a close-up of the swatches so you guys can see okay so let's try intense moonlight under the eye for just more of like a champagne actually i'm going to use this on the inner corner a little bit just to brighten it up and it's so pretty underneath that this one's like kind of shimmery if you're looking for like a darker color though and the one like i said burnished bronze is really nice for like a darker color but i love this in the inner corner i'm loving it you could control the amount you're applying with this and then even like smudge it out with your fingers it's like kind of just like play around with it to see and then it kind of like melts a little bit because it's like creamy but these don't move around like all day they don't like slide around on your eyes okay this is so cute especially for the holidays this like metallic color is so cute love it so definitely recommend this is a really nice gift idea for anyone even if they're a makeup like more pro or if they're just starting out this is a really nice set okay love that all right now moving on to mascara this is like to me the one step in my makeup routine that changes up an entire look so this is my tried and true holy grail mascaras from nordstrom it is by hourglass and it is the caution mascara this is so good you guys i have repurchased this so many times it is worth the money i've gotten a lot of questions about it whether it's worth the money or not and i just find that this is just an incredible mascara so there's nothing like it like i'll try something else and then i'll keep going back to this because it is that good so i've tried a lot of mascaras i've actually used to do mascara videos back on my channel like way back on my channel first was starting out i would do like these mascara reviews and i'm like obsessed with mascara but this has just been my go-to so i haven't really been branching out too much when it comes to mascara because i love this one alright and now the final step in my makeup routine is lipstick and oh my gosh you guys i found this kit from charlotte tilbury so if you've been following my channel this is like no surprise i talk about this lipstick and lip liner combination like all the time it's the charlotte tilbury pillow talk lipstick and then i use the lip liner um but most of the time like even on its own it's nice as well so i found this kit though i don't know if this is a holiday kit um but this is in this like super cute kit so it's perfect for holiday time like i said um or if you're just wanting to try out a bunch of the lip products this is a four piece lip set so you get a full size lipstick you get the lip liner you get what are these two other products i'm trying to see what the difference is so the collagen lip bath it says it's a pillow top collagen enhanced lip plumping effect and then the other one all the way on the end with a sparkly top to the applicator it is charlotte's jewel lips pillow chalk dazzling diamond gloss so i can't wait to try that because i've tried the glosses before which i love sometimes i don't always like want like a shiny glossy look but when i do i like their lip glosses because they're not sticky so i'm i actually have the lipstick and lip liner opened already so i'm going to use this one up that i already have i haven't tried the plumper yet so let's just try the plumper on top so i'll show you guys what just like the lipstick and lip liner looks first and then we'll try this a lip plumper so lining the lips first like if you want lipstick that stays all day and you don't really have to reapply this first step is important with the lip liner and i'll actually just like fill it in pretty much it doesn't have to be perfect and i like filling it in and then just kind of fill it in any old way it doesn't have to be perfect because we're going to apply lipstick on top so that's just the lip liner on its own it's really nice it's still it's creamy but it's kind of like it has that staying power sometimes when products are super creamy they don't stay as well and this is the lipstick and now i'm just gonna apply that on top i'm just making sure this is the right shade because i have a couple charlotte tilbury lipsticks so that's what i could just stop there and that's actually what i would do for like every day but i want to try out the lip plumper because that sounds amazing and with the pillow talk lipstick like you could totally still like rub your lips together it's not like that drying lipstick okay this is so cute with the little heart applicator all right so let's see how it smells well i think i got some on the tip of my nose no okay we're good okay this smells a little minty which is nice so it's pretty like pigmented okay i just love this like little heart applicator it is so cute in the past i've tried lip plumpers i feel like they would like tingle or burn on my lips but it's not like anything harsh or like it doesn't burn or anything which is nice but it feels so fresh and like minty i like that i don't know if it's necessarily plumping my lips but it looks really nice it's like a glossy finish it just has a slight sheen to it which is nice okay so that is the finished makeup look and then we're gonna move on to my hair if i'm really loving trying out all this new makeup i got some maybe these are gonna be some of my new like holy grail beauty favorites okay i would say if i were to pick just narrow it down um this if you're like looking to try something hourglass palette really good and then everything was really good and then if you're like looking to try out the lip gloss from hollywood i'm really liking that too but they're all really really good products so you can't go wrong with any of them all right let's move on to my dyson air up which i'm sure a lot of you came to this video because of that because i get so many questions and whenever i share the dyson i was asked to do like a full video on it so i'm going to share with you guys how i do it i'm going to take these hair clips out and i'm going to get out the dice i have to pluck it in but my hair is still slightly damp so i'm just going to probably like quickly go over it with the regular dryer attachment so you get basically like the dyson hair dryer and like curling barrels and they even have like these straightening brushes you could straighten your hair with this i've done that one time and it's so smooth and like silky um so i am going to get my dyson and i'll show you guys like the case and everything all right so i have the dyson here so this is the case that it comes in as a really nice quality case and it has all the attachments inside it comes with quite a few um so this is just like the base of it and then um this is the like hair dryer attachment so it just kind of like snaps in and it's ready to go and then there's different fan settings like like the speed of the fan and then different heat settings there's two heat settings and a cool setting and then there's like a cool shot button that you could like press up as well and then there's like the lock and unlock for the different attachments um this is the attachments that they come with so it has like a different attachment so the reason it comes with two barrels is the like the air flow which way you want it to go so for the right side of my hair i will use one of the barrels and i switch it out for the other side so the air flow could go outward each way and then one of you guys recommended to me to try out the longer barrels being that i have longer hair that way it might be a little bit easier so i'm going to try these out um because with my longer hair sometimes it doesn't get all the hair wrapped around so we're going to try that out today i'm really excited so i haven't tried the longer barrels i've just been using these shorter ones so we'll see how that works i'm sure it'll be a lot easier um but i'm just gonna quickly go over my head just to get the you have to almost get i'd say like 90 to even 95 dry before curling your hair with the curling attachments because you don't want it too wet at all very very slightly damp so i'm gonna go do this now okay i all i did was just rough dry it i didn't use any smoothing brushes nothing like that and my hair i feel like with the dyson it doesn't get frizzy when i blow dry it i feel like it's pretty smooth for not doing anything like you guys and then just use it like i normally would a regular blow dryer but i just think it's like so smooth from it like i just feel like it doesn't get frizzy and whatnot so and i do have hair extensions and i get questions about that i do have extensions for length and volume and even with that my extensions are a little bit like wavier than my actual hair texture this next like barrel will totally smooth it out so i'm going to section off my hair to the bottom layer i section each half of my head in thirds so i'll do this bottom portion first and then i will just kind of like clip this up with like one of these little hair clips and i'm gonna work on this section and then i will just take it section by section i think it's like easier that way this is the look right so we're gonna start off like i said this is the first time using this longer barrel so this dyson does take getting used to like there is a learning curve with it but once you get the hang of it it is like a game changer in any hair care routine like it's going to give you that small blowout look so this will have like bouncy curls like for the first day and then the days after if you don't even want to touch your hair with a curling iron it'll just be that smooth polished look so i'm gonna have it on the highest heat setting and the highest fan setting and that's just like how i feel like is best for my hair and then it just like wraps up automatically and then i'm gonna do a cool shot okay and then this is how it looks when you're done like look how pretty that curl is so i just let them set don't brush them out until the very end let them still cool you could even if you have very hard to curl hair and you do want more of a curled look instead of like just a polish blowout then i would actually clip these curls up to let them set even more and but i'm just going to do this as i'm actually going to show you to how i quickly curl my hair today um being that i get asked that i would normally not do that on the first day but i'm still going to show you guys so i'll probably just curl the hair anyways the longer barrel by the way if you have extra long hair go with the longer barrel so i'll link it this is i actually ordered on nordstrom so here we go she's gonna wrap my hair up it's like super quick and then i'm just going to do the cool shot okay and then and then you just slowly release it and then i'm just gonna hold this up for a few seconds until it cools a little bit and there's the curl oh my gosh okay so every time i use them like i just love this thing so much and i just like love it it's just amazing it really is to me like for how much i feel like you get use out of it instead of going to the salon for blots this is really really good so i'm going to continue with the rest of my hair when i move on to the other side i'm just going to switch out the barrel for the other side so the airflow could go outwards the other way and then i'll show you guys the finished results okay i moved back a little bit i'm on the last piece i saw this piece and i was just like pinning up the top layers just to hold the curls but as you can see so far this is what my hair looks like before it is brushed out i'm going to do the last piece which is like my face framing bang area and let's see so all i do same thing i just have the barrel switch over to this side it just like wraps up on its own i was just like stopping this so i could speak but it's kind of hard because this is a little loud with the microphone let me see on my camera and just release and that's what the curl looks like it will fall it's not going to be defined curls this is more for like on second day hair i will go in and now i do more defined curls and that will last me in between washes so i don't really have to do too much with it um so right before i brush it out i'm just gonna use a like a this is a lightweight hairspray from aveda i got this on nordstrom i'm just gonna lightly spray it i also really like if i'm gonna curl my hair with the t3 i'll link this below too for you guys in case you're interested if you want like that defined curl look um because this is gonna brush out like a lot softer but if you want some texture the way texturizing hair spray so good hands down like my top favorite texture hairspray that i've tried so far um so we are going to these like my hair if it feels a little warm then i would try if you can until i let it cool until it's completely cooled down so i'm going to though it feels pretty cool to me i'm going to grab my hairbrush okay i'm gonna be like looking into my mirror over on the side here but you just want to very very start gently brushing from the bottom and then i don't like to go too like hard on the brushing because i don't want to like all brush out i want to be a little bit curlier look how much more volume my hair has and it's just so like polished and smooth that's why i like really love it same thing on the other side slightly a brush on the ends it will kind of like spring back up a little bit too i also find that i have like way less flyaways when i use this too all right so that is how my hair looks when i'm done using the dyson air wrap i just like love the bouncy like curled look it gives me this will like the curls will fall for sure um throughout the day they're going to be a lot more just like smooth and wavy and like that more like polished like i said blowout look i've been loving switching it up from like the t3 which i love like a curled like polished look but then i also like days just for like some bouncy soft curls and i just love the way it turned out you can like even spray it with a little extra texture spray if you want like a pc look no i don't like to use too much fog a little goes a long way um because you don't want my hair to be weighed down by product so let me know what you guys think um if you've
