BALTIMORE ORIOLES REBUILD in MLB The Show 21 Franchise

today's the day we've been waiting for forever it seems like lb 21 is officially released and we're gonna be doing our first rebuild today now we'll say i woke up super early for this video so you're gonna have to give me a little bit of time just to kind of wake up a little bit but i'm hyped i feel like i'm in a pretty good spot right now i'm playing the new game on the ps5 but i know a lot of you guys including myself are gonna be also playing it on xbox so real quick i want you guys to comment down below what console you're gonna be playing the new game on again i'm gonna be doing both but i wanna know what you guys are gonna be doing in the comments down below either way look at the new screen look at the new menu oh my god we're ready to go i know a lot of guys can be new here but last year around this time we started off with the baltimore orioles for our first rebuild on lb 20. the reason why i did that was because they were the 30th overall team in the entire mlb and i felt like that'd be a good starting point this year the baltimore orioles are back to being that 30th overall team i really don't think so i think they're a lot better than that but that's just me i think they got to be at least 27th i'd say the pirates are by far the 30th team but that's just me apparently i'll be the show things otherwise we're going to be starting with the orioles once again this year if you guys are excited for one of the first rebuilds on v21 then be sure to hit that like button let's go for 2 000 today let's see how hyped you guys are i believe in it and without further ado we're going to go ahead and get into it baltimore treat me nice boys please oh my god look how clean everything is first off i know a lot of you guys are going to be somewhat newer to rebuilds avenue rebuild's coming on about like 10 years now let me go ahead real quick and show you guys how to get this whole thing going and this is all personal stuff but what i like to do is i like to turn off gm contracts fantasy draft as well is going to be off allowing legend free agents is going to be off cpu roster control for me is going to be off because i like actually being able to manage my entire team cpu trading is definitely going to be on you want that natural progression the mlb ignore budgets if you guys want to just go crazy and sound like a billion dollar team this is the way to do it you'd have to turn on ignore budgets for me and my rebuilds i turned them off going into forced trades now if you guys want to do pretty much like any trade in the entire mlb let's say they want to trade like gary sanchez from mike trout you can do that with forced trades again for rebuilds i turn that off because it's completely unrealistic designated hitter i put that on auto an extra inning runner oh my god it's an mlb rule i get that but no we're not doing that stupid stuff let's go all right next up we got the coaching test the development task and the manager task i actually like to put the first two on auto manage the rest though i like to keep that a manual because that's where everything's at hiring firing staff 40 minute rosters roster moves free agency trades waiver transactions you guys get it there's a lot there so i like to manage that kind of stuff and also for rebuilds i'd like to go ahead and start it in the regular season there we go oh my god look at all this new stuff we got the new budget system straight up even though it really didn't change much gigantic r.i.p by the way let me take a second real quick to learn all this stuff though if i go here we go okay that's where everything's at good to know we gotta line up so we see all this wow oh my god i'm just kind of taken back right now again real quick we got jamal jones we got austin the haze sanchez cedric mullins wow there's a lot of stuff here training okay that's normal go and exit out of that real quick we got all that so we go down to budget of course that's where the budget's gonna be at the gm goals anything new with the gm goals looking the exact same okay yeah literally the exact same just a new look to it okay we got a roster i'm actually liking how the players show up now look at that that looks sick also wait a minute the top guy's a 77 overall you got santana as a 77. this dude's at least a 79. wow they really do this team dirty huh i get they're not great don't get me wrong i'm gonna be the first person to say they're not great but wow i'm mad surprised at how bad they actually rank this team and look at this this is what i'm super excited for i actually like the depth chart quite a bit i know it got memed a whole lot but i still like it i personally think it's a very very good progression but yeah look at all this we got 20 22. look at that got adley for sure coming up in 2022 we got 2023 everybody else coming up here oh my god all right i like this i'm starting to like this a whole lot i gotta say straight out the gate i'm liking this a lot more than i'll be 20. but that's just me we got the scouting department again this is gonna be fun this is the year that i'm gonna get my first 99 i swear to god this has got to be the year if you guys been following me for a while you guys will know mv20 did not get a single 99 potential that entire year i will say i didn't draft for at least like eight months but still the fact that i didn't get 199 infuriates me so this year i'm definitely gonna get that if not in this video today and also down in the comments if you guys want me to go ahead and like kind of explain what i do in rebuilds and do kind of like tutorial esque videos on rebuilds then be sure to tell me that down in the comments and i'll get working on those for you guys because i really do want to help as many people rebuilding as possible i want to get as many people into this entire franchise mode as possible so if i can help in any way then be sure to tell me that down in the comments but either way everything else looking pretty much the exact same okay this is where we're gonna see the awards the top prospects the stadium assessments oh stadium assignments jesus okay wait a minute this is actually sick this answer's no legit the answer is no just import like the top 100 prospects that's all you got to do either way let's go ahead and finally get into this orioles rebuild and i think we got to go ahead wait a second this is going to be the first trade possibly that i'm making it'll be 21. so it's going to probably be a big one we got tom eshelman this guy's throwing a hot 86 miles an hour not great but also we got robles who can be a two-way player hold on a minute believe me we're gonna get into that maybe like an all two-way player team oh my god that'd be so sick okay we got a lot of ideas from b21 believe me we got a boatload either way i'm taking this deal i think it's going to be a lot better i definitely think that hansel is going to be coming back he had a 10-year rate back in 2020 i think that's not gonna happen again so i'm gonna go ahead and get him i'm gonna bet on him i think he's gonna do good and there we go first trade of only 21 of the books by the way look at that all right now i think we got to go ahead and draft that and yo on the new consoles this thing's a lot faster too i'm liking this again i got to say i'm liking how everything looks this thing looks great all right here we go today's the 2021 draft would you like to go to it yes i would and here we are fifth overall let's see how the draft is from b21 come on boys again it's not the real draft class which definitely sucks but how are we going to do we get a bowl load of blue chips here okay this is looking so much different than last year especially at number five one of the biggest things i was talking about last year was like by pig 10 pretty much everybody's gone pretty much you could always find those like sleeper type guys but normally everybody's gone by like pick 15 pick 10 something like that this year though i will say it's looking a tiny bit different it looks like there's gonna be a lot more options this year which i like but real quick let's go ahead and pick somebody we got rick joyce right here looking great overall the potentials are very very good as you guys can see from the bottom we got well above average being 80 to 70 we got above average being 60. we got average being 50 we got blow average being 40 and you guys get the rest he's looking overall above average to well above average i like where this is at and also real quick my draft strategy for this entire thing is going to be just starting pitchers straight up we are going to need quite a bit of that especially with this entire team right now so those are the guys i'm going for at least for the first like three rounds so we got rick joyce we got william here again this guy looks great too throwing 93. if we go down to chuck white this guy does 18 okay he's only got three pitches that's a big no we got daniel throwing 92 but everything else looks fantastic again all these guys are righties too i was really hoping i found a lefty but it's not looking like that and we got one more guy down here come on andrew please be good please be a god and he's not looking that bad 96 too with five pitches oh wait a minute baby an eta of 2022 so he'll be here pretty much next year got above average control got very good velocity very good break hits for nine cases we're not walks front and home runs for nine all looking very very good stamina well above average i honestly think we go andrew because we got felix hernandez is our number two and in 2021 that's not where you want to be at all so let's go ahead and try to get somebody else real quick i'm actually thinking over at the indians is not really doing the greatest so far once again and dylan floro is actually doing pretty solid but again hold on we can't give up a 21 year old shortstop for dylan floro if i want dylan flora i'm
