Baldur's Gate 3 - Forging My Party

hi everyone welcome to my channel audio hook where I'll be exploring music um audiobooks end games anything that you can play and uh reviewing them um I'm going to start with a Boulders game Boulders Gate 3 um you know the video game RPG very popular and today I'm going to do a playthrough of the first scenes of the game with one of the characters that I created we are October 19th 2023 uh ready to go let's um see what we can make out of this game guess we're not doing the tab thing open here for sheep let's SP along how much farther can I go not everyone made it out alive not everyone made sword and I went for a strength build so that's going to get real interesting ass let's see over here over there is a restoration thing that it guess some jumping all the way back car on usually I play this pretty smoothly but I think Oban is adding to it yeah we are trapped oh I don't like this [Music] one yes you've come to save us from this place from this place you'll free us the exposed dealers down one day I'll catch a break I'm going to do whats spell insiration this Whispers vicious Mery I really didn't get this I remember taking her take it right let's try Arrow do a lot of damage we'll stick with that de thing finish off a bit no it didn't do the trick all the way breathing which means I'm going to to do that you prove surprisingly adequate in battle now to help so we have some gear here that could probably useful even that I'm trying to look for strength build on this guy hand ass all them are quite [Music] light let see what we have [Music] here light crossbow runs across your mind you feel SED Shadow than you I thought that damn thing was going to be my coffin thank you your mind lurches into her thoughts her gratitude is mixed with weariness because you have a gift with me you keep dangerous company more that gith have a problem with everyone else but there's more important matters right now survival let me come with you we can get off this ship and watch each other's backs along the way Shadow heart one moment oh the thing thing get the thing it's nothing trust me enough of this chatter we need need to get to the helm now she's right lead on biggest question how who what why was I saved let's see I think this character looks a lot like the first Guardian that I made I've heard a lot of people have that like their second character looks like the guardian opin in first round run as you wake the tatp squirms in your skull the chaos of the crash site confuses the landscape you'll need to find a settlement or landmark and you'll need to do it quickly the tadpole is a death sentence and the clock is ticking you need a cure okay what is going on let's see should mind my stab still just a bit you're alive I'm alive how is this possible if you invest in her you're more concerned for her than she is for you clearly we need to take care of ourselves first things first we need supplies shelter and most of all A Healer we might have escaped but we still have these little monsters in our heads we need each other and we both know what's at stake can't think of better company okay one thing just before we go I wanted to thank you spell SL Jack trades add half of your proficiency buness to Ability check nice great um song of rest here allies are revitalized as though you would have taken a short rest this is a really good one um gain the spell I friendship vain har fire feather fall healing word long strer sleep speak to animals inous can try to shake off the effect each time with them [Music] see I'm going to take fa fire but I do want to replace the C what about or heroism that's also not exactly a top priority can I change it for [Music] you get to change your contct set point and now let's move on amount ofit Point SP um Divinity Channel Divinity turn dead dity see if we can change up color spells isn't B protection from evil and [Music] good uh Creator destroy water okay guiding VT is great not a huge fan of human Ward it's actually pretty good at these levels but it's kind of a weak spell really want protection from being evil I like this spell a lot okay what's up with the images I don't know all's well knowledge these worms are already affecting me I can feel it now what to do about it you know I was ready to go this alone but maybe sticking with the herd isn't such a bad idea and you seem like a useful person to know all right I accept lead on so after I um after I screwed up with um Shadow heart and failed to realize she had a quest to complete um I really made a point to get all the other quests andan one is absolutely fantastic really really good so cutting action you get it as a bonus action death disengage and hide I did never really learn how to use them well little different to guess there wasn't a lot different to Dungeons and Dragons I mean not the rules just the fact that CL space scared Bo I don't think anybody here can speak so I'm going to pass on this discussion and let's get back to the action not sure what's wrong with my pit but may even the medium there a mind player and it's hurt that thing's bound to be dangerous even if injured best be careful okay let see it you approach the dying monster this is the thing that abducted you you could end its life here and now if only you didn't feel compassion compassion you can't move can't think thinking is mercifully done for you it will be a joy to serve to die for it an honor it's possessing your mind forcing you to love it but then the feeling slips the creature's mind seems to focus elsewhere see we can get out of them but not brightest no High Hopes okay your mind's fuse lusting for something that is gone but then its grip CLS back with a vengeance a vice locking your mind into obedience it needs sustenance to survive and with your very body you can provide okay looks like I can resist this stuff the monster lies exhausted defeated its eyes wet orange pearls radiate malice let's finishing monster death is too good for what else is here let's we explor this cor should dead goblins over there worth checking for supplies maybe we'll do it all broken must have been here a while process known as seram morphosis and let me assure you it is to be avoided you don't happen to be a cleric by any chance do you a Doctor Surgeon uncannily ad with a knitting needle remember you seem to know enough about our condition to realize it's beyond most cleric skills most no doubt but I find myself hoping to be in the presence of the few you don't happen to be one of them Noe not me as we've established few enough can it's not exactly a common affliction we're most certainly going to need a Healer and soon too how about we lend each other a helping hand once more and look for a Healer together sure most excellent parasite shared is a parasite hared or something to that effect Oh but before you think you're about to embark on a journey with most ill-mannered a man thank you for pulling me out of that stone think about to foresighted kindness I ass you I haveing ample opportunities will present themselves for me to return the favor way the nearest library a good chance to see what I can do you can change his sub [Music] class uh evocation though is a great one especially scope spells allies automatically suceed that saving take no damage from them yeah this is great you can just BL right through everyone also be interested in duration a magic your spell from the water around you that protect you from F okay there like these defensive ones too but let's see what spells we're going to pick up for him and maybe prepare other spells burning hands is always spun [Music] from evil shield okay in terms of preparing spells he's got grease Thunder Wave sleep which B Mage Armor let's do [Music] Cloud I haven't really used it in this gam it greas and burning ANS can work nicely together so I think I'll just keep it for now let's just keep this so we do have a 4 k Adventure awaits we're almost ready to finish off this video with something you know good enough start with still breathing despite everything see what I got here what about the handex is huge compared to the short [Music] sword maybe I'll take dual fighter of this guy um let's see what we got got a simple V which is good though um we also here do cimer and another [Music] handex night
