[Music] hi guys welcome back to my channel today's video is going to be ways that I like to use baking soda around my house and in my beauty routine baking soda is so affordable and it cleans really really well so I'm excited to share these ways with you if you want to see then just keep watching if you're anything like me you love to reuse spaghetti jars I save all of mine and all you have to do is to get that stickiness and the label off is to a pot of water add in the baking soda and let it boil for about 30 minutes this will get all of the sticky residue off and the label it'll be like brand new once they're done cooling for a bit give them a wash and you'll have sparkly clean mason jars to use baking soda is amazing for cleaning your fruits and vegetables so all you have to do is give them a little bit of a sprinkle with the baking soda and then wash them really well with water if you have a brush you can scrub them with a scrub brush you could also make this into a spray solution mixing the water and the baking soda together and then spraying the fruits and washing them but it makes them shiny and looking very tasty baking soda is amazing at exfoliating so if you want to exfoliate your lips what I did was depotted my eos and i refilled it with baking soda honey and the eos mixed it all together and then i put it in the freezer and now I have my own baking soda exfoliating lip scrub which works amazingly baking soda is even good at cleaning your bling all you have to do is use an old toothbrush scrub your sterling silver or diamonds and it really will leave them shiny and looking brand new all you do is let them dry and you'll be good to go I wouldn't use a paper towel or anything like that that will scratch it but the toothbrush is nice and gentle and it doesn't scratch it at all so if you're looking for a powerful cleaner baking soda and lemon juice are it they can take away any greasy surface stain that you may have it actually replaces comment for us so above our stove we have cabinets that get grease splatter on there so I'm going to make a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda and we're going to apply it on there you can leave it for a little bit but you're just going to scrub it away and it will get all of that greasy residue off and leave your cabinets looking shiny and new another amazing way to clean your pots and pans with that greasy built on residue is by using baking soda and lemon juice what I do is pour on a coating of the lemon juice sprinkle a good amount of the baking soda over top of that you want the foaming reaction to happen you could leave it for a little bit if you wanted to but you want it to be a good amount and then the what makes it even better is by putting a little bit of hydrogen peroxide onto your cloth or whatever you're using to clean the surface and then just scrub it away literally it'll take all of the stuff off you'll see all of it coming off and this was stuck on the Forman grill like pretty bad and it all came off you can see that our Foreman grill has some real damage because I was using a brillo pad before but once I started doing this I did not have to use that anymore so you can use baking soda to freshen up your drawers what you're going to do is put baking soda into a bowl you can mix it with some spices or essential oils whatever you choose mix it all up you're going to poke some holes into the top of the plastic container this one is perfect from the Dollar Tree I did add a little bit of washi tape to the top of it just to spruce it up but you poked enough holes so that the air comes through lets out the baking soda and it deodorize is any drawer that you may want to keep fresh and smelling good you so if you're looking for a way to replace your glass cleaner you can use an all-natural one with lemon juice baking soda and water all you have to do is spray the surface and wipe I do like to wipe it down with water just to remove all of those streaks but after you do that you're good to go baking soda is a great way to clean those stuffed animals all you have to do is put it into a large plastic bag sprinkle in some baking soda and then give it a good shake shake it really well and do it outside because I got baking soda everywhere once you're done shaking it you're going to use a vacuum and vacuum out all of the excess dust and baking soda so if you ever notice that your dishwasher has a little bit of a weird smell sprinkle a little bit of baking soda into the bottom let it sit for awhile even overnight and then in the morning let it run so if you're looking for a way to whiten your smile all you have to do is mix your regular toothpaste and baking soda brush for about a minute and you will have noticeably whiten teeth this really works for my super sensitive teeth too using baking soda is a quick way to clean your toilets too so I have saved the best for last and baking soda is the best exfoliator not just for your face book for your body too I like to mix a little bit of my face wash and the baking soda together to give me a power wash it leaves my skin feeling nice and smooth soft and bright and I just love it and I've
