I flew in that aircraft in 1999. It's an experience I wouldn't trade for anything. There's some really cool stories about that plane and I'll share one. In 1999 the aircraft was on display at Jones Riverside Airport in Tulsa Oklahoma. A guy came by with a picture and an urn and he asked if his father could fly in the gun turret one more time. He then told the story that his father was a jockey when the war started and thought he was too short to be in the army but little did he know jockeys made the best ball turret gunners.
